Best Plumbing Services in Missouri
Professional, on-time, and fair pricing. After calling 3 plumbing companies, we chose Joe for straight forward answers And when job was complete, made sure everything worked and was cleaned up. Will call Joe Lillis again, and recommend to anyone.

They replaced a spigot on the side of my house, and then when a late cold snap caused it to bust - our mistake, had the hoses on for gardening - they patched it for free. They'll get all of my (hopefully infrequent) business.

Cooter's replaced a leaking water line/joint inside a wall going to our upstairs shower. They did a great job in a courteous and professional manner. No wasting time with these guys...they come prepared, and get right to work. The cost for the job was very reasonable, and I recommend Cooter's to anyone needing plumbing work done in their home/business.

These plumbers were fair and honest people. The master plumber Mary explained everything really well and they preformed a complete over-haul of our pipes within one day They we're by far the cheapest and did excellent work.

I used this plumber based on the one glowing review ... I was a little nervous about that ahead of time, but I had a great experience, also, and would recommend this business to anyone.
The company name has changed to Bob Fickel Co. LLC, but the phone number is the same.
I called them earlier today with a list of four repairs. None were an emergency, but they arrived within the hour and fixed all four problems for less than $200. Having been gouged by Roger the Plumber, and my husband lied to by A.B. May, you can imagine how surprised I was about the bill.
If you need a plumber, skip the places that advertise and call Bob.

I called this plumber and when I told him my company name, he said not interested and hung up on me.

Best company ever! Saved me almost $8,000. I had a sewer backup at my house and called my home warrantee company. They sent out Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Do not hire Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They quoted me almost $8,000 to replace a sewer line under my sidewalk, then tried to get me to finance without getting another estimate. I decided to get another estimate anyway. My mom and I had both used Poor John's plumbing before and they were honest and fixed our previous problems the cheapest, most effective way possible. So I called them. When I called to get a quote from Poor John's Plumbing, the guy told me right away that I probably would not have to pay for it. Not only that but Poor John's Plumbing called the sewer department for me and had them out the next day to confirm that I would not have to pay for the repairs. Poor Johns' Plumbing was a life saver! Thank you so much!

I typically don't give five star reviews. I think that there's always room for improvement. I apologize for the length of this review but I think it's important to share all the steps and why LBA checked all of the boxes.
During the first cold snap this year (2017) I went to fire up the furnace for the first time and realized there was a problem. (I won't get in to the home warranty company issues.)
The wife and I decided to go ahead and replace our aged HVAC system. After a lot of research I called 3 HVAC companies for quotes. We called
1. Company 1 (too busy with a home show to come and give us a timely quote. 5 day wait)
2. Company 2 came by and the sales rep just pointed his flashlight into our crawlspace but never went in to take a look at what exactly needed to be done and then gave me a quote for almost 10k for the lowest end Lennox system(no options).
3. LBA came out the first thing Scott McKinley did was go in to our crawlspace and assess exactly what would be entailed. Scott was knowledgeable about the city codes and explained what they would need to correct with a new HVAC. When we got back upstairs Scott asked a few questions to ascertain our needs and prepared two quotes that covered the range of our budget, each quote contained 3 system options from high to low.
He quoted for a new Lennox HVAC. The same system that Company 2 quoted and it was 3k less and he also quoted a Ruud HVAC system(made by Rheem).
We decided to go with the Ruud(Rheem Product) because of research, Consumer Reports and best bang for our budget buck.
Installation: LBA showed up early on the agreed upon day. Chris was our installation tech and completed the work within the promised time. Chris was also knowledgeable and answered all of the additional questions I had. A couple of days later we had the city inspection and there were a couple of items that needed to be completed before the city would pass the inspection. One of those items would have been beyond the scope of a normal installation. However, LBA was on top of it! I can't stress this enough. They were clear in communicating how they were going to resolve the issue, scheduled a time when they would be out to correct them and showed up on time.
LBA gets 5 stars for
Promptness, completing the work on time, showing up when they say they would, Coming in on budget(no surprises) Professional and Knowledgeable Sales and Installation staff and doing the work to provide us options within our budget. We couldn't be happier!

The tech I encountered is a shyster. Higher prices than most companies. Beware because they don't follow through. I know because I've been had by them.

The phone number on the website for the Lenexa location is incorrect. In fact, it is my home phone number and we have been receiving calls for them for several months. We have notified them numerous times of the error. While I continue to be polite to callers (after all, it isn't their fault they have the wrong number), I tell them to call one of the other numbers.

Unscrupulous business practice of enticing you with one estimate and after completing job, charging 2 and 1/2 times more.
We'll never use them again or recommend to others.
Poor customer service as well from office/billing manager. After discussing discontent Sherry, Office Mgr. assured me that we would get consideration and reply. Never happened and no follow up from messages.
Buyer beware.

The worst experience I have had with a contractor. He doesn't return calls, doesn't show up when he says, doesn't honor the price he states, and doesn't finish the job. Smokes on your property leaving cigarette butts for pets. Completely unprofessional. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I had Katie's ASAP Plumbing (Shaun Sapp) come to fix my rental house drains and dishwasher (all was backed up because of renter). They did get there quick and I found out later just why. I talked to them both on the phone the first day and they were supposed to clear the drains that were backing up along with the dishwasher, but, there's still backup in both. I couldn't get to the house till two days later because I was sick, but, they didn't clear the basement drain or dishwasher. they were both stopped up when I got to the house. Apparently they didn't even look at the Dishwasher because I found out the next time I called to see when they were going to come fix the stuff Shaun Said they didn't get to that and since I didn't want they disconnecting it they didn't do any thing with it. They informed me after spending $800.00 (yes No Joke it was actually over 800 but what ever) they would not come back out and actually clear the drain with out charging me again. I called to talk to Katie Horner then Shawn Sapp they both were more than willing to come back out for another charge!!! Right Like I'm going to fall for that twice. No Thanks I'm getting someone who will not charge an arm and a leg and Actually do the work they say they will.
I will never use this company again and everyone I know I will make sure they know to BEWARE because its a big scam.

We've had a home warranty with AB May for 12 years. Since another company bought them two years ago they've been getting more and more about upselling than repairing. This culminated last week when they tried to talk us into $12,000 in unneeded sewer line repairs. We've now canceled our warranty service with them. A truly dishonest company.
