ONLY a 5 star rating because there isn't a higher one!  I have used Keating for plumbing work for several years.  They have CONSISTENTLY been quick to respond, reasonable charges, and NEVER attempt to up sell or offer unnecessary work.....[which hasn't been my experience with OTHER plumbers!!!]  EACH visit [I live in a very old house] has been a pleasant surprise as the work is efficiently completed, excellent customer service, and INTEGRITY!  Thank you Bill and Mark.

I will be calling Harry for all my future jobs - he is reasonable, reliable, on time, professional AND he sticks to his bids / quotes! No surprises after the job is done!

Honesty and integrity are the first two words that come to mind with Go Direct.  A few years ago i hired one of the major pluming companies in the metro area to come snake out my old clay pipe mainline after it was starting to back up due to roots.  They gave me a doom and gloom sales pitch saying that i needed to replace it ASAP and that it would cost me 27K.  I called Go Direct to get a 2nd opinion and they sent out Luis who was fantastic to work with.  He sent a camera from the floor drain in my basement out to the city sewer and showed me what was going on.  While he said we would need to eventually replace the old clay pipe from the house to the street and as long as we kept snaking it a few times per year we would be OK while we saved up to replace.  His bid came in significantly (and i mean significantly) less than my first quote.  I used Go Direct to snake our line a few more times to snake out and recently hired them to replace the line from the house to the street.  The crew was respectful to my property and did a great job cleaning up after.  I would absolutely recommend these folks to anyone looking for an honest and reliable company to snake or replace their mainline.

I bought a condo in an old building about a year ago. When I first purchased my place I had a lot of major plumbing issues that I needed addressed. I went out and got about five bids from various plumbers, all wanted more than double what Les's estimate. Les has been my go to plumber since then for all issues in the past year, I've had 7 calls.

He is reliable, good at what he does and a great fair price. He has replaced cartridges in both of my showers, re did the plumbing in my kitchen, installed new toilets, fixed leaks, snaked a couple of drains, installed new faucets. I will continue to use him.

So impressed! We haven't had good luck with plumbers but just found our new plumber!! Josh was prompt, professional, price was reasonable and he took the time to tell us how to take care of the pipes in our storage room going forward!!

First, I called on Sunday, just expecting to leave a message. Low and behold, a real live lady picks up the phone. (+1) Then, she tells me, why yes, they can squeeze in a sewer scope the very next day at 1p. (+2)
The next day, Robert shows up, right on time, does a quick review of the property and plumbing and gets setup with the camera equipment. (+3) Myself, wife, and our realtor are peppering him with questions - because, you know, you have to sort of get a feel for the type of serviceman that shows up - he answers patiently and to our satisfaction, even lets me watch as he scopes the sewer line. Total pro. Also, the video equipment they use is very nice, state of the art stuff. Great video resolution, takes still shots along the way. And, Robert is explaining everything he sees and points it out to me on the video screen. Super nice, weill informed, great interaction, again just a total pro. (+4) In the end, we got a great sewer scope, it left us with peace of mind about our property, and it was done in a courteous and professional manner. (+5 stars all around.)

This is the second time we've had John and Metro Drain Cleaning out to our home (completely separate issues). We had a leaky old faucet needing to either be cleaned (calcification) or be replaced, and John was able to swing by same day to take a look, offer a solution and finish the job. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and responsiveness via phone/text. He is reasonably priced, a friendly face, and actually tries to save you some money if you're willing to heed his advice/tutelage. Wouldn't hesitate to utilize his services again in the future.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we're called Greg and the gang at Good Plumbing and as usual they took care of our problems. We are trying to replace the last of our old galvanized pipes and had a little leak on the water heater line.  These guys and the girls in the office efficient, honest and personable. They call ahead to let you know they're on the way and then they get right to it.  They may not do fancy ads on tv but I'm telling you, they are really good....call them next time you have a problem!

I've had them do work before, but now I have clogged drains and can't get a phone call back to find out the costs or availability.   Guess that's too low dollar a job for them.

I called to schedule and appointment and was quoted 39.99 for the service. I asked specifically that a sump pump video scope be done and asked again about the price which was quoted 39.99. The technician arrived on time and was pleasant during our conversation of the issues. He then went to collect payment which was $250.00 not the 39.99 he said the woman I spoke with sometimes got that wrong. I let him know that we had a deadline for a home inspection and could he please send the qoute and video over by 8pm. He said it would be no issue so then 8:00pm came around I texted to see if the quote and video would still be coming. He was very short and rude about how the timeline was not feasible and he was trying to spend time with his family (I would never have texted if the 8:00pm time hadn't previously been agreed to). He sent me a text quote which was very different then the number discussed at our review and then in the afternoon when the email with video and quote was sent it was again different then the 2 previously stated numbers. I would NOT recommend this company.

Originally I called Appletree Plumbing to diagnose a leak, because we've had outrageous water bills. Appletree was able to determine that we had a leak from our water main to the house and gave us an estimate of $5500 to fix it!!!!!! Granted, it's an older house and we have to replace the entire line, but that seemed outrageous.
I called Bell. They came right out and gave me a free estimate for repair almost half of what Appletree quoted me.
I marked Bell down a star for their cluster of a phone answering service. It took forever to get to anyone that could help me and once I did, I had to leave a message and they called me back the next day.
I also marked them down because their workers stole vintage bottles that they found burried in my yard. I have a hundred year old house, and they found antique bottles when they dug up my lawn, which they promptly pocketed! When we asked them where they went, they conveniently got a case of amnesia. I don't know where they went. All the while looking guilty as sin.
They wouldn't steal my wallet off my counter top. How is this any different? To be perfectly honest, I didn't want the bottles, but I thought it was in really bad taste.
They would've had a much higher rating if their employees hadn't stolen from me.

Please be careful with this company. They charged me 750 for a service + part. The person who arrived did not have the part and was supposed to return the next day and never showed up. I called in and the person on the phone rescheduled to 8:00 am next business day and the worker did not show up again. I called and asked for refund of the amount charged for the part which was never installed and the office manager ( who by the way is extremely rude) refused to refund. She told me that I either wait for the worker to show up ( please note that I waited twice) or loose the entire amount. I could not reason with her as all of this seemed unnecessary and unreasonable. So please beware of how you deal with this company, especially what money you hand over to them. Now the whole thing will move to small claims court. This seems to be a trend with this company as I saw another review with similar issue.
