Called for a  emergency sewer repair and the excavation went great especially with city requirements. Got my water back on in just one day! Definitely going to call again in the future.

I called Big Apple Plumbing when I was having issue with my faucets and they provided clear advice on the phone that saved me a paid consultation visit.  I will definitely call them first if I ever have a plumbing issue.

Have been shopping around for a plumber to replace my 18 yr old Water Heater. I received marginal responses all due to Covid, I assume. But received a prompt reply and call from Todd's. They asked for a description of the job w pictures. I had a competitive estimate in hand the next day. Scheduled for two days later. They texted 20 mins before the start of the promised 2 hour window and mentioned they were on the way. Arrived on time. Two guys did the work. Very polite, professional and helpful in explaining the job. Left no trace and extremely happy with the results. Already have recommended Todd's to neighbors. Thank you

It is almost impossible to find a good plumber. If you go to Angie's List, or Martino's List you get the big corporate plumbers that gouge you for all the can. But this company, Chris Hales Plumbing is beyond awesome. They bring experience, technical knowledge and ideas for solutions and products the average person would never know about!

To the T is excellent. I highly recommend you choose them and don't think twice. The staff are super communicative and knowledgeable. Nate is very professional and did an excellent job on my water heater. I have a few more things to upgrade and repair at my house and I look forward to having him back. I got multiple quotes and talked to 5 plumbers. To the T was by far the most helpful answering all my questions and concerns and offering a very fair price. The work performed was top notch. I was able to get on the schedule at a time that worked for me.

We are in the process of working on a kitchen remodel, and we wanted to have a quote for moving the pipes back by a foot. We were quoted $1200 - $1700 to move pipes and vent the roof. Guess that is not in our budget! Our second request was to have three shut-off valves installed because they were very old and dripping. It was the main shut-off to our house, and the laundry room valves. Wow, $580 later, CO2 alarms going off, a drywall mess that was not cleaned up, and customer service that was so sub par. Three shut of vales in 35 minutes and the invoice did not even have line items for labor, parts, but just the total with trip charge. Ugghh...left feeling overcharged and definitely getting a second opinion on having the kitchen pipes moved. Recommendations: Look around for other another company first to compare quotes, and customer service ratings.

We made a reservation to have them come out and give us a a/c check up in May.  They called us and said they had to reschedule us to June 26th between 1 and 4 due to all the a/c installs and repairs they had, but they put us on their Priority list.

Well, it's today and it's 3:45... no repairman.  I call and the young lady on the phone informs me that I'm scheduled for the next Friday, the 29th.  I kindly told her that next Friday was July 3rd.  I was put on hold, then she came back on the phone and started to give me a speech about how she was sorry we weren't called, but they are servicing a/c outages or  installs first.  She did say we were on the Priority list.

I asked if they could give me a date... same speech.  I told her to take me off the list, I would find a company that's dependable and will show up when they say they will.

In my opinion, avoid at all costs because he will most likely cost you $$$$!  Promises the world, provides a low quote, takes your $, never shows on time or at all, blows off deadlines/due dates, doesn't use agreed upon materials/supplies, performs a fraction of the work, causes expensive damage, and disappears into the night with the supplies/materials.  

If you are foolish enough to consider using Silas Cortez after reading this and other reviews: get a solid contract, take pictures of everyone's face and their license plates, don't give money up front, be available to watch them like a hawk, and get a good attorney because you will most likely need one.

If something seems too good to be true, it will most likely be in this case.  I should have read the reviews first:(
