Piper Electric Co., Inc. was one of the first true design-build electrical contractors in Colorado. Our reputation for integrity, professionalism and customer service put us on a growth curve to the company we are today. Our company consists of three distinct divisions: Service, Plant and Facilities and Construction. Our Electrical Service Division employs twenty, trained, background checked, uniformed and centrally dispatched technicians available to provide service to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Plant and Facilities Division specializes in technical, difficult, demanding and control intensive projects. This group can wire the controls for your process line, manufacturing skid, industrial kiln or just provide maintenance duties at your process plant. The Construction Division is well versed in office buildings, commercial properties, clean rooms, multi-floor apartments or condos, hotels, and all other commercial applications.

Ben has been in the electrical construction industry for almost 20 years with experience in field installation, management, estimating, design and engineering supervision. The majority of his experience is in industrial process-type facilities with an emphasis on motors and controls. Ben's abilities are strengthened from his field experience and several years as chief estimator. This foundation combined with an electrical master's license and a formal business administration and finance education provides a strong emphasis for management and leadership.
Lee C. is also an owner of Piper Electric Co., Inc., with over 28 years of experience in electrical construction, design/engineering, and management. His technical trade abilities include estimating, design-build, design-assist, value engineering, pre-construction services, LEED and Green Globe projects, plus many more.

I called Piper because I had flickering lights and thought maybe a circuit was overloaded. When I called, I spoke to Mika to make an appt. Mika suggested that my lights may be flickering because of the type of bulbs themselves (among other possible causes) and recommended I try swapping them out to see if that did the trick.
Sure enough, it was the bulbs.
Mika could have sent a technician without saying anything and charged me the hourly rate. But her honest recommendation earned Piper a 5 star review and a promise to call them again in the future when something else goes wrong. This is the kind of company that I like doing business with.
They sent out two KIDS to connect a ceiling fan, a hallway light & to take pictures for a circuit breaker panel upgrade. One was (approx.) $175/hr the other was (approx.) $100, they totalled over $600 for two hours of work.
The ceiling fan still doesn't work.
The hallway light was reinstalled & the fixture was left with cables sticking out.
The attic access was damaged.
There was drywall chips on the floor from working on a switch & attic access... no vacuum? Or who cares about a customer's house?
End result: the hallway light was connected & they left a mess. $600+
Will NOT call back, or recommend.
One of our circuits was malfunctioning, the breaker kept tripping even though I unplugged everything. Tim came out and quickly diagnosed that it was a bad breaker. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Will use them again!
Piper Electric has been very responsive, easy to work with, and, most importantly, their people did great work for me. Even their scheduling folks are very knowledgeable, and they made recommendations for things I could to reduce the time / cost of their visit while still achieving my goals. I've found some of the other electricians in the area to be difficult to communicate with, but everyone I've spoken to at this company has been great.

The hubs and I live in a mid century home and called Piper Electric to replace a kitchen GFI for us. We've learned with an old house to call the professionals since unexpected things arise.
The gentleman who came (I cannot remember his name) was so nice and really professional. He answered some additional questions I had about our wiring and did a great job. This will be our go to electrician in the future!

We had a GFCI outlet stuck in test mode that meant blowdrying my hair in our bedroom since all bathrooms in the house were locked out by this issue. We also had a light fixture in our laundry room that wasn't working so we called Piper to come check it all out.
Our window was 11AM-1PM but the tech ended up showing up at 9 AM which worked even better. He was very nice, worked quickly, explained everything thoroughly, & I even asked some other questions I had about future projects I want to do on his way out to help me understand how much work each entailed. Unfortunately the light fixture needs to be replaced (which I suspected before he arrived) but he easily fixed the GFCI issue which was the thing I was most eager to fix anyway. I'll definitely be calling Piper to replace the broken light fixture once I buy the replacement along with the other projects I want to do.

Good work by a skilled electrician working for a difficult customer (me) who is hard to please. I will not hesitate to use this company again. They are easy to talk to explaining the job needing to be done, explained things well enough for someone like me with a thick skull to understand, and they did quality work at a good, fair & competitive price.
Piper Electric did great work! Arrived on time, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Walked them through what we were looking to have done and they talked us through all the options, before getting started. They even turned down some work since they thought a regular handyman would be more suited for the job, rather than trying to squeeze extra money out of us. Appreciated the honesty and the upfront attitude that we could likely save some money and get a more complete service for a certain project. They were quick and efficient. I've had Piper out to add an outlet, replace old outlets, and install a floodlight and they are fantastic. Their electricians are extremely professional and I've never had them try to upsell me on anything.
Depending on the size of the job and their availability, you can request an electrician and a journeyman so you get two electricians for the price of one and a half, which is a fair deal.
Just had Piper upgrade our panel from 100 to 200 amps. The entire experience was excellent. They had a very competitive bid that wasn't bloated with double dipping -- charging twice for the same thing on two different line items, which we saw on other bids that came out much higher. The whole process was timely and professional and the workmanship was top notch. They were very familiar with City of Boulder regs and we passed inspection the first time around. The inspector even gave Piper thumbs up and told their electrician that their work looked great. We are already planning to have Piper back out when we replace our stove in a few months and we've recommended them to our friends.

I had Bryan come out to write us a quote for a few projects around the house. He was prompt, courteous, and intelligent/intuitive regarding our projects. We had the quote within 24 hours - which was extremely clear and professional. Of the three bids we received, Piper stood out as the most competent and trustworthy, so we hired them. Vic and his apprentice were scheduled for exactly one week later.
Vic is extremely talented and takes pride in his work. He spent nearly thirty minutes with me upon arrival going over the scope of the work and helping me to plan the best aesthetic spots for some LED disc lights to be installed so they would flow with the rest of the room. His attention to detail and interior design knowledge ensured I would be very happy with the final product. He and his apprentice took nearly 30 minutes at the end of the day to sweep and clean up after themselves, which I never expected. Part of the work was a kitchen remodel and they tarped off all of the counters and appliances to prevent dust from getting everywhere. During their work, Vic also talked to me about some other projects, I had a new quote for the new scope of work that evening, which was completed exactly a week later.
I was blown away by the professionalism, quality of work, care of my home, and attention to detail throughout their work. I will absolutely utilize Piper's services in the future and will always request Vic.
Their installers added a new 200 amp panel in our old 1948 60 amp farm house, apparently that additional power solved all the miscellaneous electrical ghosting. My wife is overjoyed with the ability to use all our electrical appliances without blinking light bulbs. We're planning a full core restoration, then sell the property 'as is', new owners will have the pleasure of customizing as they wish. Thanks, Art at Piper, for a job well done!!

I seldom give 5 stars but these guys deserve it. Excellent job and when the job wasn't completed the first day (it was a complicated job), they came back to complete the work and there was no extra charge. Plus, they did a very good job too. I will call them when I do a kitchen remodel later this year. Too bad they don't do plumbing too! Good plumbers are crazy hard to find!

I have a very old home, and we needed a 220V outlet installed in our kitchen for a new induction range. Piper Electric sent out Art, and his apprentice Tim, to take a look and provide an estimate. They were both excellent, and very knowledgeable, and discussed options with us openly and candidly. We decided to accept their reasonably priced bid, and their work was very efficient and professional. We'll definitely be calling them again for any more electrical work we need!

Piper sends highly qualified professionals and they are really working hard to get people in during this time when the demand for trades is so high. I had faulty breakers and couldn't use my washing machine or freezer. My appointment date was far out but they will keep you on a cancellation list and get to you as soon as possible. Qualified electricians are not cheap, but Piper is a good value. The prices are fair and they are efficient without sacrificing safety or thoroughness. Everyone that I interacted with was really kind and genuine.
I hired piper to upgrade my electrical system in my house (upgrade to the current, replace several ancient panels, and fix the water pipe bonding). Piper sent over a crew to draw up an estimate and I got the response back in a few days with a detailed breakdown of the work and the costs. Scheduling an day to get the work done was simple and the Piper crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and got everything done efficiently. Piper also took care of arranging the inspection and everything passed with flying colors. Piper is definitely a company I'd do business with again.
Hired Piper to install the wiring and junction box needed for putting flood lights on the back of our garage. Also had them come out and connect the wiring to an old outdoor outlet.
Josh was incredibly professional and friendly. He came early (and called to make sure that was ok) and completed the job way faster than I expected. Very impressed with his professionalism!

Awesome folks here! We had a problem with all our bathroom outlets and tried messing with the breakers to no avail so I called these guys at 730a and was immediately answered. Rich spent a good 20 minutes on the line with us doing all sort of troubleshooting and it eventually fixed the problem free of charge! Many out there would just come and collect the $. Very conscientious business, responsive and reliable. Well done!

After United power outage, renters turned off master breaker to house until power was restored, however the power did not come back. Called Piper and immediately got someone on the phone and the Electrician called back shortly after. They found the part that was possibly needed but the breaker just needed to be reset. This all happened on a Saturday! My renters were back online before 1pm and Piper electric was very fair on the invoice. The experience was fantastic and I will be keeping Piper in my rolodex so to speak. Thank you Piper Electric, great service is hard to find these days.
When I called Piper I thought I had a circuitry problem. Art came out the next day - compared to everyone else I tried, who was booked out as far as October - and discovered I simply had not thrown the breaker switch adequately. Art gave me more than my money's worth for the house call, suggesting some I might consider making to the electrical system in my 70-year-old house but didn't pressure me to do anything soon. I really appreciated his responsiveness and customer focus. I'd call him again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Art!
Art and Zach were friendly and professional installing a new dedicated line and circuit for dishwasher in our 1928 home.
Art and Zach did a great job installing an additional circuit for a level 2 Electric Vehicle charger in our garage. Since our service panel was nearly full, they installed a load shed (a DCC12 controller box for EV) which provides overload protection without requiring a full service panel upgrade. This saved about $1000 over bids that included a full panel upgrade.
I watched the city inspector go over the work and he was impressed with the quality of work inside the panel. Art made an effort to make small and clean cuts in the drywall, so the repair afterward was something that I could take on myself.
We have worked with Piper as well as several of our neighbors. Very professional, timely, respectful, knowledgeable and affordable.
We had a double story foyer light fixture hung today. Quick and professional. HIGHLY recommend PIPER ELECTRIC.

If I could give 10 stars I would !! From the estimate to the install everything was perfect !! Rich was excellent during the estimate giving me ideas and input showing that he listened and understood what design I was going for ....he went above and beyond !!
The gentleman who did the install was on time , wore a mask and did an awesome job...he was courteous and cleaned up afterwards !!

Please read this company lies. I called to schedule them to come out because I have a breaker that keeps pooping since I started working from home. They clearly advertise every where FREE ESTIMATES. But in reality they don't. They charge you $140 an hour just to come out. Now tell me that's not false advertisement?! How they have five stars is beyond me. Will definitely file a complaint with the BBB. I spoke to their account manager. Here is proof that I was promised a free estime! And they advertise it too!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Evan did an amazing job, diagnosed the problem, was methodical and communicated with me the whole time about what he was doing.

We called Piper out this week to get an estimate on some electrical work in our townhouse. They sent Art out to help us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. He gave us a number of options regarding the project and thoroughly explained each option. We really appreciated his expertise and the time he spent with us. Piper has done work for us in the past and they always give A+ customer service. This visit was no exception. I wouldn't think of calling anyone else for electrical work.
We were able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame that fit our schedule. Max and Skyler were professional and knew what they were doing. One of our new fixtures was 50#, and was a beast. They figured it out and it looks great. The cost was very reasonable and we are happy we choose Piper Electric!!
Had them update my dryer plug to modern specs. They were responsive and excellent communicators. They gave me an excellent quote compared to other companies. It has been several months and things are still going great.
A truck had knocked out our electric service and we were really in a bind. Some electricians quoting up to $20,000 when we really just needed a part replaced. Art and Steven came by and we're so nice and super helpful. They changed the part and worked with the Xcel guy to get us up and running in an hour. They were honest and efficient and I would absolutely call them again. I really can't explain how grateful we are to them. Definitely recommend!

I had piper come out to install a charger in the garage for our plug in hybrid. They explained all the Pros and Cons, recommend a spot of the install, and gave me a couple estimates based on how I wanted the wires routed. Overall, I am pleased with their work.
Pros:
- Quick scheduling for estimate
- Friendly, professional assessment of work to be done
- Gave helpful insights into rewiring options and codes for a 50's era home
- Speedy turn-around to get scheduled for work to be completed
Cons:
- Technician did not do a great job of cleaning up after work was completed
- I paid by phone the same day work was completed because I couldn't be on site the day work was completed. Had to follow-up for receipt and final invoice, which seemed strange
- When I did receive the final invoice, it did not show breakdown for parts and labor as most companies do. The amount due was the same as the estimate, which I had paid over the phone in good faith assuming the invoice to follow would have a breakdown. Instead the invoice showed the total amount charged with a narrative description of work done - NO actual parts/labor. When we called to follow-up again, the person said they don't offer parts and labor breakdowns but he could make up numbers to get it add up to the billed amount, if that would help.
For me, the cons far outweighed the pros. The process and response definitely left a bad taste after being a good, prompt paying customer. Disappointed to find out out estimates are not clearly supported by actual costs.
We worked with Jacob this morning to fix a loose wire in our outlet that had shorted. We had a hard time getting in contact with other electrical companies as it is a busy time of year. Someone from Piper responded immediately to my Yelp message, and got me an appointment the next day! That is unheard of by other companies. Jacob, the electrician who arrived, was great and even early to the appointment. To the Piper office manager or whoever responds to the Yelp messages, thank you for what you do! It really took the stress and I truly appreciate the quick response, ease with scheduling, and services provided.
The whole process was easy, from scheduling the appointment to the day of. We had an radon system installed and it required electrician to review and turn on.
Art arrived early and was professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.
During a spring snowstorm the neighbor's tree fell and pulled the powerline from our house. Excel did minimal work and therefore we had to call an electrician. We called Piper electric because of their ratings on Yelp. What everyone else said was true. We were out of town when we made the arrangements. However when we rushed home they were finishing up. Wow! They were responsive, quick to diagnose and repaired everything in a matter of hours. Congratulations to Piper for having such a reliable employee - Arthur Garcia.

I Schedule their electrician to arrive at 8 to replace the light socket that no longer functioned. He arrived on time was able to replace it was very professional and did not leave any mess. I will use them again for future electrical needs.
I called their 24/7 (ha) emergency line. Was told someone would be contacting me soon. The initial call was made around 5pm. By 10:30 pm, I called back to get a status update. The operator said she could actually connect me with the tech. The tech sounded like I had just woken him up. He asked that I explain my electrical emergency... good to know that someone who has limited electrical experience and feels it's an emergency needs to only explain the issue. Any-who, I explain my main breaker keeps tripping and is hot to the touch. Tech explains that he wouldn't be able to do anything at this time of night and suggests it's probably an issue with Xcel Energy sending too much power to my home. I'm not going to further talk with this idiot, so I call Xcel. They send someone out and explain that whoever suggested this is a complete moron. I agree. I find a more reliable electrician who comes out and finds the main breaker on its last leg and burnt to a crisp. Very lucky out house didn't burn down. Would I recommend this company? Nope. Would I suggest you use this company to be trusted with anything as dangerous as electricity for your job? HELL No.

Piper Electric hardwired our security camera above our garage. They showed up on time and we're very professional during the entire job. We would definitely use them again for future projects!
We are new to our Westminster home and Piper Electric was recommended by our neighbor. The receptionist was friendly and scheduled us in a timely fashion and they call and often offer to come earlier if they can, which worked out nicely for us. They call when they are on their way and have always been on time.
Technicians have come out 4 times now for different issues and deal with whatever it may be- electrical issues, fixtures mounted, dimmer switches checked and pretty much changing the wiring to accommodate what we wanted and needed. There was no we have to come back later, they just did it. Even if they had, I would have them come back.
I wish I could remember all their names but each one has been professional and knowledgeable besides being really nice guys. Their customer service is exceptional. I will always use them.
Was doing some electrical upgrades over the weekend and ran into some wiring issues. Gave Piper a call Monday morning and they were able
to come out same day and fixed everything within an hour. Great service, very friendly and helpful. Took the necessary precautions for COVID and educated me along the way to get things done better the next time. Highly recommend their services and will be using them for future electrical needs.
Vic saved my day today. My power went out when I was attempting to change out a power chord for my dryer and he walked me through the process over the phone on how to restore. It was a simple fix but I'm not an expert when it comes to it and he came through when I needed it most. I'll be using these guys when I need help in the future. Thank you, Vic!

Piper came out to troubleshoot an issue with my exhaust fan. The scheduling was done effectively and they even called to get us in earlier due to a cancellation. The service provider Aaron came to our house on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He spent the time to diagnose the issue, explain it to me, and come up with a solution. I highly reccomend Piper Electric for all your electrical needs.

Called to request a appointment for an estimate to replace my electrical panel. The first time I called, I was told that the staff was in a meeting and the reception would give the staff the message. I called at 2:30 pm to follow up on my phone called. I was told that they tried to call at 8:31 am. I explained that I never received a call. I have a special program on our home that blocks solicitors. In order to reach us, you must following the instruction. They actions clearly indicated that they fail to follow the instruction. They then shared that they tried twice. Again, I was home and never received a call. I asked if they could call back today. I was told that they would call back the next day.
After of today, they never call this morning. I call an cancel they the appointment.
As a person who has worked in Customer Service, this was a failure on the company to follow through with customer request for an appointment.

Fantastic service you can trust.
Matt was honest and open about services I needed. listened to my concerns and provided an honest assessment. Did the work the same day and did not try to sell me anything. I had called them today for a 2nd opinion. I had called another company yesterday and they came out and did not address my concerns , but did scare the hell out of me with all the hazards that existed in my home's electrical, presented 4 service plans from $7k to $16k.
PIPER Electric sent Matt to my home and he resolved all my concerns for $226.00 and set my mind at ease regarding the current state of my electrical.
I have been in the car business for 34 years, and it took a me by surprise That I was being SOLD. I had no Idea that some Electricians were on commission!
Piper will get all my business as long as I am breathing. Phenomenal experience. Thank you Matt and Piper Electric for being there for me.

Our home is a relatively new build (2-years old) and we had an outdoor outlet go bad that powered an outdoor water feature. We tried to get the company who did the install (Ward Electric) to come take a look. After weeks of waiting and multiple phone calls with nobody showing, we gave Piper Electric a try after reading positive reviews on Yelp.
One day later they came out and got everything fixed up perfect. Turns out it was more work than we thought because it appears Ward Electric didn't wire the control box properly (and found some other things they didn't do right) and required some more work to get everything working properly.
Daniel Walker from Piper figured out the issues and got it fixed it up. He was professional, friendly and an excellent electrician.
Showed up on time and did everything to help me solve my electrical issue. Very professional I highly recommend!

Show me a skilled contractor who will fix an issue for you over the phone without charging you and I will sell you a piece of land under the Brooklyn Bridge. For real, though - Rich is an honest, helpful, incredibly nice gentleman and while I realize most issues won't be this simplistic, he had an opportunity in my emergency situation, to take advantage. Art Garcia was the electrician that performed the work on my dining room fixtures. Though the wiring was straightforward accomplishing the task was a challenge. It was a challenge because the fixture was an array of three fixtures that had five glass globes. The biggest challenge was hanging the one that had three globes attached to one fixture. Another challenge was the vaulted ceiling. Art was more than up to the challenge.
He insured the globes were wrapped in bubble wrap. He tapped his ingenuity and insured the globes were safe until he completed the box wiring. All of this was done at a fair price.

I called 3 companies for estimates - Piper was the first to respond and ended up being the cheapest by a few hundred dollars. Warner did the estimate and he seemed very knowledgeable, friendly and responded to my emails quickly, so I decided to go with Piper. Anthony came out for the actual work of installing a sub-panel and he definitely exceeded my expectations! Not only was his work clean and precise, but he also took the time to talk through what he was doing and actually taught me a lot! He was super friendly and it really felt like he was there to help, not just do the job. Not only did he patiently answer all my questions, he also offered to give his advice on other electrical projects I was working on and gave me several tips that have already paid off! He even showed me how to wire and install a breaker in the new sub-pane for free!

I am a long distance landlord and had an issue with one of my unit's breakers going off frequently. I requested several quotes (all highly rated on yelp) but Rich at Piper was the only person to suggest a way to trouble shoot my problem.
If I ever need an electrician, I am 100% going to call Piper. It doesn't feel like they are trying to nickel and dime you for everything.
I have not used their services yet, but I would expect the same professional and common sense approach.

Fast response and dealt with multiple issues at our rental property efficiently.
We had a quote of $1100 from another company to fix some outlets in our home. We called Piper electric for a second opinion. Vic from Piper electric showed up at our home on time and fixed our issue in 45 minutes for $150. I highly recommend Piper electric, we had a great experience.

Had an issue with an outlet that needed addressing. Called Piper and they scheduled me for a few days out, but let me know that if any tech finished early they would call me to get it done sooner. Hear those things all the time, but they typically never follow through. Not with Piper though, I got a call an hour later that a tech was in my area and available to come by.
Chris immediately identified the issue, explained what went wrong and what was needed to not only fix but prevent such issues from ever happening again. Even with having to run to get parts he was finished in an hour and a half.
Great experience with Piper, will definitely utilize them for any future electrician needs.

These guys are great. They installed a dedicated circuit for our large window A/C unit in our living room, and an exterior outlet on our detached garage, at less than half the cost of another, heavily-advertised company in the Denver Metro. They were fast, flexible, and cordial. Great conversation and very transparent. I would highly recommend their work and will absolutely call them again on some forthcoming projects we have planned.

I offered to pay the emergency rate and Laura went out of her way to get someone out the same day. Lines were on the ground and equipment was pulled off my neighbors house because of tree trimming on my property and I wanted to make sure my neighbor was taken care. So why only 4 stars? Art the technician had to make comments along the lines of is this really an emergency, this will be overtime for me, etc. Kudos to Laura, Art could use some customer interaction training

Art Garcia was awesome to work with, he knew exactly what I was looking to do and how I wanted it to be done. He installed a low voltage transformer for a hard-wired smart doorbell. The finished installation is clean and well done. Art was on time, on his way over he even picked up an access panel that I had trouble locating myself. Art was very friendly, he worked efficiently, and the overall cost of the project was less than what I was expecting. He also explained what he was doing and how I could wire in the doorbell myself when it arrived. He was also wearing his mask the whole time and was very respectful of social distancing and COVID precautions. I will definitely be using Piper Electric again in the future for any electrical needs.
I had two ceiling fans I wanted to replace with new ones. I was told it would probably take two hours, $150 an hour. It ended up costing $774. Almost 4 hours on one fan, 45 minutes on the other. The young man spent a lot of time looking at the instruction booklet and on the phone. He was very nice, but I got the impression he didn't have a lot of experience. In addition, I had other, more involved work that I wanted an estimate for. He took photos of the requested work and I was apparently charged for the time he took to take photos because I was charged for the entire time he was in my home. I was concerned that if it took almost 5 hours to replace two fans the other work cost would be astronomical. I was told by the office that they would work with me to make adjustments on the new estimates because of the high cost of the fan installation. That was almost a month ago. I call twice a week to see if the estimate is completed, and their only response is they will call me back. I still haven't heard from them.
They were polite, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely interested in reducing the amount of work hours to reduce my cost. They did not charge me for walking around figuring out what needed to be done even though that took them 1hr+ and involved going into the attic. Definitely recommend!
We have a coffee machine plugged into an outlet that seems to keep tripping spontaneously. Thinking perhaps the outlet or breaker was bad, we called Piper to have them come check it out. Not only was the receptionist at Piper extremely friendly and personable, but she was able to get us on the schedule immediately, and have a tech to our house in 20 min! Upon arrival, the technician, Art was extremely professional and showed up with a protective mask, gloves and shoe coverings on. After assessing the issue, Art was able to recommend a few things we should try prior to having the outlet and or breaker replaced. Unlike many other service companies and techs that may perform work regardless of the actual issues at hand, I was very impressed that Art was hoping to save us some money by trying a few things on our own! If our attempts to mitigate the issue fails, and we do need to follow through with the service, we will definitely be calling Piper Electric and requesting that Art do the work for us! Top notch organization, with top notch employees! 5 stars isn't enough. Thank you Art and Piper Electric.
We had a great experience with Piper Electric. We needed several electrical updates! We wanted to add outside plugs for the smoker and the camper and, in the process, we discovered that our electrical panel was not up to code.
When we realized what a big job we had on hand, we reached out to Piper Electric. My husband builds superstructures and has worked with the company professionally in the past. He knew they did high-quality work at very fair prices. We weren't willing to have just anyone work on our electrical.
We reached out for a bid and were fortunate to work with Werner Schlichter. Communication was always easy, timely, and thorough. He handled our last minute requests with ease and even saved us some money on the project by finding a less expensive generator panel. Everything was well organized and the entire project ran smoothly.
To do the work, Piper electric sent us Matt Lace and Aaron.
Matt was extremely professional and fun to work with. He is very knowledgeable, was able to answer all of our questions, and didn't cut any corners. We were very impressed with his skills and knowledge. Aaron was also incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and didn't complain a bit about having to crawl under the house.
Matt and Aaron installed a new panel, lifted the power lines and set them above the roofline, fixed some old wiring in the house, and added the two outside outlets. We also had them install a generator panel connected to essential circuits in case we ever lose power.
Both Matt and Aaron were very respectful of our home and even stopped to pet our dogs as they'd walk by them!
This entire experience has been a pleasure. We feel much safer with all of our upgraded electrical, knowing that it was installed by true professionals who care about the work they do.
This project was worth every penny and we passed the city inspection without any problems.
Wanted to thank Art for handling a electrical problem in one of my rentals first for finding the problem fast and correcting it. Second for handling the tenant in a profession manner helping settle down the situation by dealing directly with me the landlord. Great job Art !

It took a couple of tries to get on their schedule (typical of a 5-star business), but when we did, the electrician who showed up was very professional, quick, and did an excellent job.
We have used Piper multiple times - adding outlets in our garage, adding new circuit to an outdoor kitchen, and repairing poor work done by a previous electrician. Each time has been outstanding. Fair prices, responsive, quality work. Would highly recommend ANY time!
Our technician was on time, polite, knowledgeable. He did a great job. We will schedule him to come back and do more work.

I can't say enough about how much I appreciate Piper Electric and especially Art - their residential service repairman. On his drive over to my house to figure out why my oven was not getting any power he suggested that I switch the breaker off and on forcefully and repeatedly, even though I had already flipped it back and forth already with no success. I followed his instruction, and miraculously the oven turned on. Apparently you need to really horse on those breakers to get them to reset. In any case, Art got my oven working, through his expert guidance over the phone, saved himself a trip, and saved me a service charge. I will be calling Piper Electric in the future for all my electrical needs. Thanks!!!

Piper installed a new circuit at our house. They came up with a way to maximize use of our almost-full panel that other bidders didn't. There was some confusion with the permit caused by the county, but Piper dealt with it. The employees were nice and the workmanship is very clean.

All around great experience! After calling another highly recommended place and not getting an answer, I got on Yelp to review businesses with the best overall rating. With 13 5-Star reviews, I figured this place was a good bet and they certainly delivered. The call was quick and they actually had an electrician finishing up a job and was able to come to my place within the hour. The service was easy and the electrician was great. Would definitely recommend this business to any folks that might be on the fence about giving them a call.
We called last night with a non-emergency electrical issue. Piper had Art Garcia at our home at 10AM this morning! He diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and professionally. I needed to replace an outlet for a new dryer that had a 4-prong plug instead of the 3-prong outlet in my wall. I wish I remember the name of the electrician that came out, because he told me how running the ground wire for the 4th prong of the new outlet was doable, but would be expensive and unnecessary, and instead suggested a fix that was easy enough to do myself and significantly cheaper. He left without charging me and refused to take a fee for coming out. So while I can't comment on the quality of work done, I am more than impressed by their honesty, and will definitely be coming back to them next time I need an electrician.
All around very good experience. Simple job to put an outlet in the attic. They were on time, understood the scope of the job, found the circuit, and had the job done in min. time.

Had a very pleasant experience with Piper Electric. From their response to my request for a quote to the person I spoke to at their office to schedule the appointment to Justin who came to install my ceiling fan, everyone was friendly, respectful and courteous. This is a company that understands customer service and that's important to me. The work was done well and the price was fair. I highly recommend these folks for your electrical needs. We got a new dryer and found that our outlet was outdated and needed to be changed out to a different amp. I called and they sent a project manager out same day to give us a quote. He informed me that there was actually a workaround if we wanted to use a range cord with the existing outlet and said he didn't want us to spend money if we didn't need to. Very nice of him to offer that. We ended up deciding we wanted to do the upgrade anyway and keep getting our old house up to current code. Called the next day and they scheduled us for a few days later. Technician was here on time, professional, and the quoted price actually ended up being lower due to their hourly rate. They did a great job with the installation, hooked our dryer back up and tested it. Great service!

Wow....I've had such a difficult time with contractors since moving to Denver and buying a home. Piper was the opposite....they were fantastic. Chris the Electrician arrived on time, he was friendly and the service was reasonably priced. When he walked in he says, your door handle is loose and tightened it. He even changed the screws on my gate because it was difficult to open. He was there for an electrical issue in the garage. That is really going above and beyond. I'd highly recommend Piper Electric!

We had a really great experience working with Piper Electric. We would recommend them to anybody. Chris was very prompt showing up early in the morning. He reviewed all of our requests, and gave us an honest assessment on the work we should do now, and how to think through what might need to be done in the future. We appreciated his expertise, efficiency, and professionalism. And on top of all of that he was really nice and congenial. We actually enjoyed having him work in the house while we were here.
We had work done to our house in November. Piper balanced our panel by adding additional circuits and rewiring. They were helpful over the phone, and our electrician was easy to work with. Reasonable pricing as well. Would recommend them for residential jobs.

Great service, on time, and actually answered the phone when I called! I called many companies trying to get our electrical issue solved. This was the only company that actually answered the phone. They were able to schedule me within a few days. Phil was our technician and he was professional, sharp, and patient to explain what was going on. I suspected that a short in the main breaker was causing our problem (which is sort of what the issue was) but an unethical electrician could have easily tried to get us to replace the whole panel for a much higher price tag. Phil fully explained and repaired our problem without trying to unnecessarily up-charge. Very happy.
I chose Piper Electric because of the reviews I had seen here and on Google, but my experience has been completely different. They were prompt to send an electrician(we live 3 blocks from their office) to troubleshoot my kitchen ceiling light and Jason made the repair in 1/2 hour (still had to pay the $140 for an hour) and very pleasant. Several times we were told let us know if you have any problems and sure enough within a couple of days we noticed the same issue was happening. We called Piper on the following Monday and were told Jason would return Wednesday morning between 8 & 9am to take care of it, but here it is Thursday and no Jason or even a phone call. When I call George at Piper Electric, I get the run around - Jason is real busy - maybe next Monday he says. Well, they were real happy to take my money and make a lot of empty promises, but to actually get the quality of workmanship I expected for the money they charge seems difficult.
I will update this review when and if Piper Electric takes care of the problem.

This company is professional attentive and makes you feel like they really want your business. Everything from the estimate to the installation was planned conveinant and expertly done. The crew was awesome. Werner worked with me every step of the way and even organized my inspection after the fact. Cannot recommend this business enough. You may get a lower estimate but the hassle getting a response from other electricians made it all worth it. I'm so glad I decided to proceed with Piper Electric.
Have worked with Paul Miller at Piper Electric for many years and I value the integrity of this company a great deal. From honest electricians who don't automatically try to upsell you, to keeping appointments on time, to always providing free estimates in a timely manner, Piper has been a great resource for my clients for many years. Awesome company, highly recommend!
