Don was great on the phone, really sought to understand the issue with my light fixture. Duncan came in to check it out and diagnosed the issue and was able to install a new fixture for me in a flash. Great work, highly recommend.

This company is super sketchy.

The work itself was done fine, although the tech, Sam, seemed unhappy and irritated to be there. We had some light fixtures installed.

The sketchy part that is that this contractor refused to give us their W-9 after we issued payment. We are required by law to obtain a W-9 for any work over $600 from all contractors from our account to prove that we issued these funds and that the contractor received this income.

I called and emailed but they refused. Now it makes sense that they offer a 5% discount for cash-only payment (not even for checks) and refuses to give out a W-9 for any work over $600 (even though it is required by law) so they can avoid paying taxes.

It seems unfair that they charge market rate AND avoid paying taxes, swindling money from the average American.

I've had D & J install two ceiling fans for me in the offices... they showed up on time, completely courteous, efficient and professional.. Don, Sam, Duncan and the rest of the team are amazing at their jobs!!!!

Highly recommend Don & his team of lighting specialists. I spoke with Don regarding our kitchen lighting, he was responsive, understanding, and willing to work within our budget. His team stuck to the schedule perfectly, arrived on time and finished the project early. They did great work installing new lights and cleaned up well. We will be calling them again with any of our lighting needs in the future!

Oh my goodness.  My husband informed me that our primary kitchen mood lighting light fixture was out a week before we were going to have a house full of guests for Thanksgiving. I had been in Oregon so I took him at his word and assumed we had an issue.  We went to the local hardware and bought new bulbs, still didn't work.  Case closed I thought, obviously we have a problem. We looked up these guys on Yelp and saw good reviews. They were very sweet on the phone and worked us in the day before  the guests arrived.  Sam arrived right on time, took a look at the fixture, asked all the appropriate questions (fortunately the man of the house wasn't home!) and then said, do you have a dimmer switch on one of the two switches?  We do! Yes indeed we do!  It's one of the cool newer ones that's barely noticeable -  invisible even!  ;) Sam walked to the switch, zwoop! Up the adjuster switch went, and miracle of miracles!, we had light!  He didn't want to charge us and wasn't going to, but I insisted because they had worked us in to their busy holiday schedule.  We got the dumb customer discount and it made for a good story around the dinner table.  I'll definitely try them again when and if we actually have a problem!  Embarrassing!

We had a couple of light fixtures that needed to be installed in some (very old) ceiling boxes, and D&J did a great job. They were prompt, easy to communicate with, and very helpful on the job. Would absolutely recommend.

Sam was amazing.  I got quotes from many different companies because it was a very challenging job. (Hang chandelier on 15 foot tall ceiling, move location 4 ft, with no attic and solid truss blocking the way.  No ceiling damage and looks great!  Their price was less than most and they did an amazing job.  Very happy!

WOW!!!!!  So fantastic.  They were quick with the request for a quote on replacing an outdoor gfci outlet, they were great on pricing and when I asked how quickly we could get it done, I got a message back with shoot me your address and we'll be right over.  Duncan was here in a flash, and super polite, nice and was able to knock the job out right away.  He set me up with EXACTLY what I needed and pointed out that the outlet wasn't working because the prior electrician who installed it put in an outlet that was not meant for outdoor use.  Not worrying about the other electrician anymore as D&J has my business.  Great small business that communicates great and DOES THE WORK.... what a wonderful concept!!  Thanks guys and will be in touch in the future with any electrical needs.

D&J Electrical came to my home and installed my ceiling lights. They did a great job and I'm am very satisfied. Well worth it to hire them for their knowledge and expertise. Highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs!

Got scheduled really quick to come out and check out some electrical issue I was having. Day of the appointment comes, waited 30 minutes past the appointment time and no show. No call, no email, nothing. I emailed after those 30 minutes and still nothing.

I'll just get a big name company. Always try to help the little guys out and they let you down.

Duncan arrived on time and ready to work! He installed the receivers without any issues! Very professional and courteous! I will definitely use this company again!

I think I've found my go-to company when I need the help of an electrician. Sam arrived on time (actually a little early) and did a great job moving the light fixture over my dining room table. He also was able to help with installing a new ceiling fan wall control that I forgot to mention when I made the appointment. Their price was lower than the other quotes that I received, and was more than fair for the work that was completed. Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend!

I had Don and his team run electricity in my living room and install a ceiling fan and dimmer switch. Of the handful of companies I called, he was one of two that called me back. He came out to the house and gave me a quote prior to any work being done. The quote was competitive compared to the other quote I received. My wife and I went with D&J because Don was very down to earth, professional, and my wife liked how the team even greeted our dog and child upon arrival both times. From that point it seemed like a good honest family business so we went with them. The work they performed was fantastic. The living room was completely finished, but they were able to run electricity to the center of the ceiling with only cutting a very small hole to be patched. We are very happy with the work performed and have found our go to electrician for the years to come.

I had D&J Enterprises come and install a ceiling fan with no attic access. Not only was Sam on time, but he explained the whole process, and put in our fan in record time with only 3 tiny holes in our wall/ceiling. I joked that if I did it I would have put 13 holes. He also helped me out by installing two smart switches (and showed me where our neutral wires were and how to make the switch work) and disconnecting an old hot tubs sketchy wiring the previous owner had done. The price was on point and beat out all of their competitors!  I have now recommended Sam to my family for any of their electrical needs!

D & J installed new light fixtures, replaced a couple of light switches, and installed some LED can light retrofits.  D & J showed up on time, did a great job, and cleaned up very well, all at quite reasonable prices.  We will definitely use them again in the future!

Everyone here at this company is super helpful.  They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.  Don and his employee Sam are the only ones I would call for any electrical needs.  They were true to their word on price, and the attention to details just blew me away.  I cant praise them enough.  You would be crazy to use anyone else.

We used D&J for the installation of our Nest Protects. Can't praise them enough. They were on time (early actually). Quick, efficient. Explained everything to us. Friendly. 5 stars and we will use them again for our future electronics needs.
