Best Electricians in Denver, CO

I needed someone to do a simple remove and replace of my Tesla Wall Connector. Removing a Gen1 that was failing and replace it with the Gen3. We recently moved to CO so I didn't have a preferred Electrician yet, so I started reaching out to get quotes and timelines.

Mark Block responded to my request promptly and immediately gave me a quote and timeline when they could do the work. Every other electrician either required me to take dozens of pictures and fill out multiple forms on their website (assuming I was doing a first time EV install) before they would even respond or they were booked and unable to get to it for 3 months. Even after getting ahold of some of these other companies, they wouldn't quote the amount until they had more time to research it. This was a simple plug & play replacement. I chose Block Electric and I'm so glad I did!

They showed up, not just on time but early. The technician they sent was Tyler, and not only is he a great Electrician but also his positive attitude, smile and efficiency was awesome. He immediately identified that I would need to downgrade the circuit breaker from 100amp to 60amp, he had one in the truck and did that as well. He cleaned up the work area afterwards as well, leaving it probably cleaner than it was previously. He was in and out in an hour and my charger is working perfectly! It was literally the best customer service experience I've had in years. Block Electric will be the first company I go to for any future electrician needs.

This company is beyond amazing. I can't tell you how grateful and thankful I am for their work that they did on my house replacing my entire electric box to make sure my home is safe for me and my three small children. They do work at least a couple times a year just out of the generosity of their hearts. Ryan and Johan on separate times showed up right on time and were very very professional and made me feel very comfortable and confident with the work they were doing by their knowledge and keeping it simple for me. They even came far out of their service area just to do a good deed for me. I highly highly recommend this company.

This FAMILY OWNED company is your BEST bet for excellent customer service, professional pride, and I trust them with making my home safe. I sold my home and was under a huge crunch time. Josha & his wife were here last night (to fit me in) till 8:30 to ensure my inspection objection was mitigated. He cited the codes for each item fixed to ensure the inspector would be satisfied. I had a new microwave installed last fall. It kept blowing fuses. Another electrician that was recommended by a neighbor came to fix it. He did not fix it the first time, had to come back a second time, and I was charged for two service calls and it was still not fixed!

Then I called Tony at A&B electric and they came out to fix it. They said that it needed more power and they had to rewire it back to the circuit breaker.
They arrived right on time, were, very professional and polite, and went the extra mile to provide excellent service. While they were working in my basement, they changed the old fluorescent light bulbs for me. I had also cut an Electrical cord while I was trimming my hedges, and They spliced it and fixed it for me. It was a $50 cord and so I really appreciated it.
Then they checked out a electrical outlet in the garage it was not working. They said it was a quick fix and that they were not going to charge me for it.

When they had finished running the wire from the electrical panel, through the crawlspace, through the basement, and up to the kitchen, it looked like it had been built-in all along. They were very meticulous about the installation and it really looked great. They cleaned up well after themselves, and explain to me in detail the work that they had done.

After the A&B Team of electricians left, Tony called me to make sure that everything came out OK, and to tell me that I had a two year guarantee on all of their work, and to call them with any electrical issues that I had.

I will use A&B electric for all my electrical work in the future, but I would also recommend to always get licensed and insured electricians, rather than someone that advertises in a community paper or website. If I had called Tony At A&B in the first place I would not have had to pay for two service calls that did not resolve any of my electrical issues.

A&B did top quality work, were priced well, and were very Professional. Everyone on the team was a licensed electrician and well trained and their work reflected that.

What can I say about ZAE Electric, other than Zach you are awesome!  You take great pride in the work you do and it shows.  The price you quoted for the entire electrical upgrade was reasonable.  Your work was clean, you were careful, patient, and were willing to teach and allow me to ask question and help you out with the electrical installation. A few other contractors I reached out to in the estimation process gave off a vibe that the job was going to be a burden, but not you.  You arrived when you said you were going to and stayed late to get to a stopping point, or finish the job entirely.  I will continue to recommend you to anyone that needs to have a new electrical installation, remodel, or just to have trouble-shooting of their electrical system.

How to judge an electrician? I think the big thing is trust, and this was a guy I totally trust, and would have no problems recommending. It was only 75 dollars and he was friendly, and perfectly explained what my problem was.  He even showed me how to wire the switch back!

We hired Denver Electric for a new 240V feed in the garage.  The estimate was very fair, the electrician was right on time, and they explained the options very clearly.  The finished project was very clean, totally hidden, and looked as new as the house.  The final invoice was exactly as expected, and the work was great! Would highly recommend Denver Electric for household and commercial jobs.

William was responsive to a last-minute call. He is a very skilled professional electrician who approaches the job with honesty and integrity.

Wish I could give zero stars, as this was the worst experience we have ever had with a subcontractor, and we have built 3 homes. Just had a list of 5-6 items to be repaired that were noted on an inspection for our home sale. Brian quoted me his price over the phone, and I said ok. He came on the agreed date with 2 other electricians. They said everything was done, great. His guys knocked over a driveway marker and went off the driveway on way out, and I texted him. He said fine, he would knock $5 off the bill (they cost me $8, but whatever). I have attached pic of that. Right after they left, our waterfall stopped working. I notified him and he came back out and said the pump was bad. I said that was an unfortunate coincidence, but okay. Then a week later we had a guest who tried to charge her phone on one of our south kitchen outlets, which we rarely use. It obviously worked before they came out, because the inspector inspected every single outlet. Brian accused me of somehow lying about this, and at that point became very aggressive and angry. This was all captured via texts, which I have attached here. We had no other phone conversations after their initial visit. He filed an Intent to Lien against us on October 26, even though our bill was marked due by November 3. I never said I was not going to pay him. I filed a complaint against him with the BBB, and he responded by lying about every. single. thing. Said I was infuriated over the driveway marker, lol. I paid his bill, just to get this joker out of our lives. He is the worst, do not use unless you enjoy angry drama from a guy with a lot of issues. Pics of our text thread attached.

We had a GFCI outlet go out in our garage and it resulted in numerous outlets in our home also without power. Radiant electric was quick to respond when I requested a quote and was available the next day to take a look at things. The problem was corrected and he offered multiple options/solutions along the way so we could make the most efficient and affordable choice for our need. Pricing was very fair and reasonable.

Bryan and his team were awesome. I had a fairly small job but one we were looking to complete for a few months with no luck. I needed some recessed LED lighting and switches installed in two bedrooms, wiring for ceiling fans and some receptacles updated. Bryan responded immediately to my phone call and was over to the house the next day to provide me with a quote. His price was very reasonable, he was flexible with materials (I had already bought some that they were able to use) and he was able to get me scheduled quickly.

I had been toiling with unreliable contractors for months on a number of projects around our new home. It was such a breath of fresh air to find a true professional who arrived when he said he would, provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner and got the job done quickly and on budget. I cannot recommend Bryan and his team highly enough. It was really reassuring to meet a true professional who was a pleasure to work with. Trailhead electric will absolutely be my first phone call when I have electrical needs in the future.

After several months the Tesla Nema 14-50 charger started tripping the breaker more and more often.

I tried contacting Charles, he sent me two replies I'll send someone without specific details when pressed for date or time.

I had to get another electrician to come check out the installation. They said the outdoor Nema 14-50 plug needs to be weather proofed with sealant. Perhaps moisture is getting inside and tripping the breaker.

Another reason could be the sub panel is not adequately supplied. The other electrician is coming by next Saturday to check the current levels.

Charles is cheaper than other electricians but the follow up service quality is lacking. Which is why I've decided to go down to three stars from five. You get what you paid for.

PS I asked him to quote me for fixing several light switches after the Nema plug install. He came by to check but left without contacting me again. I was pretty bewildered and hesitant to contact him again. I hired a different electrician who took an hour and charged me $80 for the work.

Edit: Charles reached out immediately once he saw my updated review, apologized, and came over to check everything. Looks like the breaker wires were loose, he tightened it, and the car charged properly.

Charles promised if the problem returned he would replace the original cabling and garage sub-panel under the original installation warranty.

Thanks for making things right. Will update again if anything else happens.

Never showed up or called to apologize for not showing to the appointment. Don't take a day off of work to wait for these people

Project manager appeared to me to show up drunk once, work was scheduled and then no one would show up, after calling them they would then schedule the work for the next week. This happened multiple times and delayed the project weeks. Just a general nightmare to deal with. After getting in touch with the owner I thought things were resolved until I got a final invoice for more than the original estimate even after $250 was knocked off for my trouble. When I justifiably lost my @#&$ on the owner he insinuated that I just looking to get out from paying him.
