I heard about Ron/Home Connections from Lamps Plus, and was impressed with Ron's professionalism and personal manner on the phone.  After meeting him and having him in my home for several electrical jobs, I am even more impressed.

He and his wife (also an electrician) are superlative in all aspects.  I have craftsman who have done work for me for 30 years, and I can't remember the last time I added someone to my list of professionals for whom I never need a 2nd opinion or bid  who is so completely above and beyond in the quality of workmanship and personal/professional interaction.  Their communication, assessment of the job, professional skill and knowledge, experience, courtesy, creativity, initiative, integrity, problem solving, humor, thoroughness, $ fairness, courtesy, diligence, tenacity are what we, as customers, want and seldom find.  AND they clean-up completely before they leave the house!  

Bottom line: They treat my house and my electrical challenges as if they are their own, and I am grateful!  Their enjoyment of their work translates into caring about what I want and need and the pride they take in their work results in the highest kind of customer satisfaction.

I received a response very quickly thru my email, set up the appointment for the following week, the day of the appointment Tony and his journeyman arrived right on time. We discussed options for the job at hand and after confirming what needed to be done they went at it. The job was complete within a short period of time, and it looks wonderful my wife was not there at the time but I wish Tony could have seen her face when she got home that evening. I would high recommend them and I will use them again if needed.

We purchased our Hot tub and Jim did our hook up for it.He did it fast and it was clean work..so I called him back recently and He installed our kitchen chandelier light fixture placed it on a dimmer.Also replaced bedroom lights and placed on dimmer switches.He works fast and does professional electrical work. Pleasure to work with.:-)

Excellent electrician with reasonable prices. We got a few quotes for five ceiling fan installations and Steve came back with the best price. They did great work and he really went the extra mile to swap out a light fixture we changed our mind on. Highly recommended!

Dan just replaced an outlet for me that had experienced some melted wires. He got back to me right away, and his quote was the best out of 10+ companies I called. Not only did he do a great job on the outlet, he was nice enough to give me some advice on a lighting fixture I plan to install myself! I'll be saving his info for any future electrical needs I have.

We contacted S Star Electric to install an outlet for a new range/stove. They were quick to setup an appointment and provide an estimate. They completed work the following week.
The electrician Patrick was very informative and took adequate time to complete the work. Will use again.

Awesome company! Called the  night before and got an appointment for the next morning! Very professional salesperson on the phone. They came out on time the following day. Did a great job and fast! Very reasonable pricing. 1 hour to add an electric box and hang a fan for my infant Son's room so that he won't be so hot in his nursery anymore. Peter was very kind and professional, he put down a drop cloth while he worked so that my Son's nursery stayed clean. I can't say enough good things! I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future for any electrical needs we may have.

Cost seemed reasonable, but the fella that did my work didn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed.  I probably wouldn't call them again if I had problems in the future.

Tommy just finished a second project (because the first project was perfect) for us by adding a new outlet for our deck.  Tommy was able to schedule us in before the deck rebuilders came, which was huge for us.  He was under budget, on time, and he always has great communication.   As a Master Electrician, we are always confident in his skills, plus knowledge of what will work and what won't.  Tommy will always be hired for our electrical needs.

I cannot say enough about Chad and Ryan. They went above and beyond to help me. They did a splendid job and took their time. No rushing them. They do quality work and charge a truly fair or bette than fair price. I am going to have more work done. That is how pleased I am with them. Good work. Honest. And reliable!!!

A big thank you to Jonathan for sending a great electrician to a home I was working on at 545pm. I work in water restoration  and I needed to verify the safety of the electrical  system before turning on my equipment. Thank you for the rapid response at a very reasonable price.

This is our second AC install with Ultimate. Second time was just as good as the first. The crew was very professional and personable from the moment they arrived. They did a great installation, explained everything clearly and cleaned up their work area very well.

I purchased a inflatable hot tub and was using an extension cord to plug it in, I know- BAD. I was referred to Ed at SJO electric from another happy customer. Ed came out, was on time and very professional.  I explained to him that I will put in a real hot tub one day when the budget allows. He said we can put in an outlet closer to the hot tub so it's safer now, and he'll install it so we can upgrade to the electricity needed for a real hot tub with out having to pay again. I appreciated that so much, most companies would look at it as an opportunity to charge you more money in the future. Thank you Ed and SJO!

I set up and appointment for Prime electric to investigate some rodent damage to the wiring in my house. As l explained the problem he said it sounded like an easy fix and he could probably take care of it the same day. I called the day before the electrician was suppose to arrive to confirm his arrival. The morning of our appointment he text me with can't come today. No explanation. No suggestion for a new appointment. Nothing. I called him and he had really nothing to say. I asked him why. He had no reason he could explain. I reminded him that we had scheduled the appointment two weeks prior and that l have guests coming into town. So less 24 hours from my confirmation he decided he just wouldn't come. He was super unprofessional and could care less.

Jacob was very helpful. I think he is the only one that thinks customer service and customers matter. Nic is a high pressure sales guy. I should have read the reviews before I called this company. I looked at their quote for a new furnace and then when I brought up that Jacob said that what I spent already would be deducted, $500 was added to the quote. The shady part is the link sends you to a portal, so unless you save previous quotes, you can't prove them wrong. Being that I had dealt with this for over2 weeks and the low was in the single digits, I just had them replace my furnace. The contractors that did that left a pile of dirt by my new furnace for me to clean up.
I have other jobs I need to have done but I will not be calling this company.
