HISTORY

Established in 1989.
J. Valenti Industries is a family owned business that is operated by a 4th generation tradesman, bringing old world craftsmanship and customer service to new world design. Started in 1989 by Debi and Joel Valenti in Midwestern Ohio, Valenti and Co. Interior Construction managed projects in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. Upon his move to Colorado, Joel's son brought that knowledge with him to start work in 1997. After working at various Denver flooring companies, and as an independent contractor for over 10 years Dominic started J.V.I. in 2006 to carry on our proud tradition of craftsmanship in Colorado. Every project we do, big or small, bears the same signature; our family name.

I remodeled a 4 unit apartment building and found the JVI flooring group to be exceptional and very dependable in delivering what they said they would. I gave them the floors, drywall and texture work and the paint. Dominic was the job site superintendent and was very easy to communicate with.

Project manager appeared to me to show up drunk once, work was scheduled and then no one would show up, after calling them they would then schedule the work for the next week. This happened multiple times and delayed the project weeks. Just a general nightmare to deal with. After getting in touch with the owner I thought things were resolved until I got a final invoice for more than the original estimate even after $250 was knocked off for my trouble. When I justifiably lost my @#&$ on the owner he insinuated that I just looking to get out from paying him.

Horrible!  The guy owns a restaurant too. Hopefully he's better at that. He'd hire guys that would smoke weed while working. We told him we need to have someone at our house that knows what they're doing , bc the last idiot didn't. This guy failed to do that too. Paint job, horrible, wood floors needed a lot of repair, they couldn't remember anything we told them for the life of them. He'd only show up for a check. My husband found two horrible contractors off Angie's list. If I were to look for a contractor again I'd go by word of mouth. Don't trust websites. Some great reviews are just from their friends and family, unfortunately.

We had hardwood floors refinished and a basement remodel done on our newly-purchased house.  They did a great job on the floors, but the remodel has turned into a nightmare.  We had serious issues with the quality of subcontractors they used and now the egress window and window well that they installed has flooded our basement twice and continues to do so.  We are having to have the work redone by a professional and it is costing us thousands -- on top of the remodel cost.  We contacted them after the first flood and received no reply.  We have now contacted them again.  We will see if they back their work or not.
