Total rip off. $600.00 to cut off my shower handle and never came back. I called to discuss the unfinished work and he wanted to charge me more. He said he would would come and complete his work and again never came or called. Very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend.

We were in dire need of plumbing services and mr rooter was the way we went first... First, the quote was late, then was empty and last it did not include tearing on the wall... Who gives a plumbing estimate explaining they are not responsible for any wall tear? leaving us to have to outsource for someone else to come fix for them... NO NO NO... SO Found him on a google search since we are 5 hours away from our property in Porterville. We got our estimate along with a very detailed description of what needed to get done. He made sure to take before, mid and end of his job. We were very pleased with the services. He is our GOTO person.

Called told operator I needed main drain tested as my pool was leaking 5,000+ gal a day. I stated it had drop 4 feet in 10 days. Tec stated did not have correct tools to check main drain and stated myself (65 year old man) needed to dive into uncirculating pool to unscrew main drain cover. I did. Then he said he needed me to get back into pool and tighten a plug under 6 feet of water. It was the wrong size and he gave me another. Impossible to tighten under water over your head nothing to hold on to one breath at a time.

I complained from in the water I was getting tired he stated we don't come back for free if they returned to test main drain another charge was to be levied. WTF I called only requesting they check the main drain.

He called me over stated all pipes held pressure. Then started the upsell. He said my tile was a problem most likly leaking, my skimmer was leaking the plaster was leaking.  He could have people out in 3 days to star the repairs. He suggested patching my Tahoe Blue pool. When asked how much he stated depended on how much of the bottom they needed to patch.

When asked why I would want to patch and not replaster the pool he said that would do it.

Replaced skimmer no signs of leaking, removed tile no signs of leakage, removed plaster no signs of leakage.

$6,600 later they refuse to respond to my written requests to contact me regarding there false on its face report.

I am their customer. The pool plaster responded in 15 minutes 2 week nothing from certified mail.

Leakage is now over 6,000+ a day in brand new pool I did not need.

I have retained legal counsel.

FRAUDSTERS when the error is theirs.

Before I called MCM Plumbing, I unfortunately used another plumbing service and they failed at getting my water heater fixed. That's when I called Mike from MCM Plumbing. After telling him about my disastrous encounter with the other plumber, he too was shocked at how unprofessional they were. He was so kind, professional and most importantly very patient. They replaced my hot water heater the same day I called them, which is amazing because I live in the mountains where it is hard to get any repairmen to come.  When he arrived, he had all the parts he needed and didn't have to order parts and arrange to come up another day...which usually happens when we need repairs on something.  All the employees were polite, helpful, and professional.  We will definitely use them again!

After juggling changes to their service date, they finally showed up to fix my HVAC and water heater systems.  Since this is a rental I was not at the home when they arrived and I let them in remotely.  After an hour they called me and told me they had fixed the issue, but there was a pending issue that I may need to repair in a few months after the winter season.  Fast forward to a few hours later and I could tell the heat issues were not fixed and the house is freezing.  I called the service back to set up another visit and the tech says the issue was never fixed because I didn't pay to have the future issue fixed. If the tech had told me the heater wouldn't work without the fix, I would have gladly paid for the fix right away, it's 30° out.  But instead I'm now looking for new HVAC support from another company and will not be using this service ever again.

We had a new well drilled on our residential property and I needed the pump transferred from the old well to the new.

After several failed appointments with other pump companies, I contacted Chris. He was refreshingly professional. While other companies were scheduled out for months (some were so booked they flatly told me no), Chris was on-site within a week!

The day of the appointment I had a message from Chris that he needed to reschedule because he had recent calls from clients who were completely out of water. But when he learned that I had taken the day off to be home for the job, he made arrangements and was at our home within an hour.

He's happy to do the job unattended, but was also ready to explain and re-explain.

Tips:
* Consider the cost estimate more like a bid
* I rented a trencher and dug the trenches for the new pipe myself, which saved us hundreds of dollars
* Your appointment may be changed last minute if more pressing customer situations arise

We called to have a service maintenance on our AC they charged me a service fee of $95 to inspect it, I think the guy that came was named Mike...he explained that our PSI levels were low for the temperature it was set at and that he is going to add some freon to it and run it for about an hour.  He quoted a charge of $45 per lb for freon and $105 for a dye to see if there is a leak in it which I was ok with. As soon as he did his job I felt that nice cold AC blowing. He was upfront with all possible costs and it was actually less than he quoted. So far everything is good. I would definitely call them again for any future repairs.

I own a condo in Fresno, rented out.  My tenant called me and said the toilet and tub were backed up and flooding the place.  On a Sunday morning.  (of course).  I called 3 different 'emergency' service plumbers, Kim's was the only one who called me back, they were at the condo and had the problem fixed (roots grew into the main complex sewer line and blocked it) within a few hours.  $145 for Sunday service.  Only reason for the 4 star and not 5 star is they don't take credit cards so I had to have my tenant pay the tech and I reimbursed later.  I'll use them again for future problems.

Jared is a flake. We came out to unclog a sewer line going to the street. He broke his tool and had to return. He came back said that he cleared it but it did not work. We had paid him $50 . He admited that he could not fix it and referred me to another plumber and said he would return the money paid to him.
I called him 4 times over the past year. He always promised to refund his fees, but never did.
AVOID THIS PERSON!
