Called Summit - my toilet was running and I (foolishly) tried to replace the rubber ring myself - and of COURSE that made it worse. Bill came by and was able to use the kit I had bought to fix it all. He then checked that all intake lines and various leak-points to ensure no other current or future problems.
During these Coronavirus times, Bill was very careful to keep our contact at a minimum and still do a great job! Even better, I was able to stay on an online meeting while he worked.
I would recommend Summit to anyone looking for great service, and will be using them on my next project - replacing my water heater

Our family is a boating family and we like to be dry. Sheet Metal Inc. helped us with a 'Bubbah Hut' that covers the back of our 25' CDory Tomcat. We are thrilled with the craftsmanship and would go back again. They do clean, professional, skookum metal work.

We realized about an hour after the quake that we a seal on our water heater had torn. I called thinking we'd be lucky to have someone come out before next week. I called around 9:30am and they already had 19 people in front of us. I have no idea how they did it, but they were at our house and had replaced the seal by noon. Just charged their regular price, super nice, really efficient. Explained where and why (it hadn't been replaced in 12 years) the seal failed, gave me the broken seal and like little plumbing angels left to help the next on the list. Won't ever use another plumber. APEX all the way. Could not be happier. I did mention this was only hours after a 7.0 earthquake? Yeah. They're that good.

Called early on a weekday. Was told that they would be here in a couple hours. 5 hours go by so I call. I'm told that I'm on call for service.. then at 415pm I get a call from some guy telling me it's time and half if he makes it to my home. Seriously? I wasted my time. They wasted my time. Definitely not recommending this place from sheer lack of business respect. I wouldn't even give one star. I'd give a big fat zero.

Our recent experience with Roto-Rooter Plumbing of Anchorage was absolutely outstanding. They are friendly, professional and will do what needs to be done in an efficient and effective way.

No one ever showed up for tthe job. Keeps saying he will be here. No show. Only one person even asked about the job. A huge waste of my time.

It was -10 degrees this morning and my homes 3rd day without the boiler fixed. This company has done a terrible job in both service and accepting responsibility for negligence. After getting the boiler temporarily working 2 nights ago while parts were ordered to install the the following day, the plumber Bruce left the cover off the boiler after starting the boiler up.
When I went out to check on the space heater in that area, I noticed the cover off and thought, huh he left the cover off? Well he's the professional so I guess it's fine. I should have followed my instinct but thought that him being the professional must have known it was fine. Now that I reflect, he should have known better to leave the safety cover off operating machine. About 30 minutes after he left a pipe burst in the boiler room completely soaking the unprotected boiler.
I talked to the receptionist and asked her to consider crediting the parts that need replaced due to water damage and that time while I paid the pipe repairs and original boiler repairs. She said she thought that was reasonable and would talk to the owner and Bruce in the morning.
In the morning I got a call from the Receptionist, Cindy, stating that the owner said that everything must be paid in full and that Bruce was not responsible for the water damage to the uncovered boiler. She insitsted on payment right away for services. I requested the invoice first before I give my card over the phone. I didn't feel comfortable paying the bill without considering legal council.
A few hours ago, I received another call from Cindy saying that the owner said that until the bill was paid in full, they were not going to come out today and fix it. I asked why they would hold my heat hostage and pay for services that haven't even happened yet? She said they had the part I needed and wouldn't install it until I paid.
Again it is below zero, we have been relying on wood stove and electric space heaters. We haven't slept more than 2.5 hours at a time at night to ensure that house was heated.
This is a moral issue that this business wouldn't accept accountability for an issue that could have easily been resolved.
I have a new company coming out today and should have heat tonight. Wish I would have went with them to start with. And it turns out the part that K&L said cost $640.00, actually costs $380.00

WARNING!!!!!
When I moved to Lititz I hired Wagner. The worst HVAC company I have ever hired. He installed an inadequate mickey mouse humidifier. Then couldn't or wouldn't service it. Then he stopped answering my calls for any service. Why risk business with a non-professional. He's someone with no guts. No guts to confront his problems with the customer. WARNING!!!
