William has completed two projects for me. A complete new roof and a new patio roof. His crews are well skilled, show up as scheduled and do a great job cleaning up afterwards... which is hard to find! Even more important, William answers his phone when you call!

In a time when finding qualified contractors that are available and will do what they say they will do is in very short supply, patterson roofing are standout performers. They were really a pleasure to do business with. I thought they were fairly priced, responsive and the finished shake tile roof looks beautiful.
My roof leaked in the strangest spot, Will came out and gave an very fair est. for the repair, it did end up being slightly more but only because the repair ended up being larger. But it needed to be done because the previous owners roof replacement was done wrong and cut corners and obviously ran off the with claim money. They inspected the rest of the roof and at this time everything seems good, Will and his team made it right. They scheduled me in during the busiest week ever and were on time, clean, friendly and got the job done efficiently and quickly. They are a trusted team not only from what I experienced, but lol the neighbor grandma gave them lunch that day. I just found that out. I highly recommend Patterson Roofing, they are in my address book for when I need a new roof. I fully support locally family owned businesses, they are my first go to for everything.

We hired Patterson Roofing 2 years ago for a roof leak around a skylight when we moved into our new home. A honest and fair price was provided after several estimates from other companies. They did a great job with no issues since.
With the strong monsoon last week, we contacted Patterson Roofing based on our positive experience last time. They replied to our inquiry promptly and had us booked for an assessment that week. Luckily it was a quick small repair that the owner completed at no charge given bigger issues were not identified. Glad to support and promote this honest local business!
Had another contractor doing work on our chimney destroy 75 roof tiles. Patterson quickly responded and came by gave me a quote and started next day and finished same day!! The guys were respectful and very efficient. They did an amazing job and even took photos of the area that wasn't visible to me so that I could make sure all the work was done. They're my new roofing company!!
After our last big storm i realized the spot on the ceiling was not a kid squirting water there. I had used Patterson in October last year for the leak on the backside of the house! They were amazing. William came right out and gave me a bid and got it taken care of.
So for this one i couldn't imagine calling anyone else! He got right out here, gave me a quote and got it done.
His crew that came today, top notch! They worked hard all day! When they were done they showed me pictures of their work. Cleaned up every last piece of everything. You cant even tell they were here.

Had my new roof done by this company in early December 2021. This is a family business, operated both very efficiently and very hands on. Pricing is also great, and reflective of a small (read: no needless overhead) and family (read: optimal way of managing the project) run company, so is very affordable. If you want velvet glove service with needless extra's, which you'll pay for, try another group. However for an efficient and cost-optimal project and process, Patterson Roofing is the right choice. Quote process was quick and informative, and William stood by his quotes and estimates, no surprises. As the project got going, his crew was on time, professional, respectful, and cleaned up each day. As minor snags and issues arose, the crew took time and care to fix and address, and William was also quickly available to address. They completed the project on time, with good results, and I definitely recommend them.
This is a response to the owners response to my 1 start review.
To anyone reading the review the main problem we had was with the finish quality of the job - namely boosted tile. The fact that they chipped away excess mortar on our tile in the first place making the $60k+ job look like a bunch of children completed it is laughable. Think about it - SHOULD you chip mortar away on a finished job, or should you just REDO it? Owner says we cussed, we called the cops, etc. He just doesn't want to fix it - he's been paid and has moved on and is looking for a reason not to come back to do a quality job. You should know our story, which is why we post. Best of luck to you.
We noticed a leak when it rained in December and William came out on NYE to determine the cause and provide an estimate. He had the work scheduled the same week we requested which was, luckily, just in time for the week of rain in January. William is affordable, professional, and provides quality work. I've referred him to several friends and they all agree!

When my HOA sent me a letter informing me I needed to fix a roof because my neighbors roof was leaking and the previous owners of my townhome had fixed it I was baffled. I was aware that HOA does not cover roofing but I was confused over an extremely vague letter and the possibility of a huge cost coming my way. I decided to contact Patterson Roofing with a neutral perspective. I told them my HOA says there are roofing problems and I need a quote.
William called me before I scheduled time to let me know he was near my home. He came early which was perfect. I showed him the letter that was sent to me and he went out to check the roof.
As I had suspected, the roofing issues had nothing to do with my side of the roof. William was kind enough to thoroughly check the area, take photos, and explain everything out to me. Even though I don't know anything about roofs he knew how to explain it in a way that a regular person like me would understand.
He even offered to speak to the neighbor that day and gave me permission to give my HOA his information so he could explain his findings to anyone that asked!
I had a great experience with this consultation. The customer service was on point. I would definitely call Patterson for any future roofing needs I may have.
I contacted Patterson via Yelp last week to give me an estimate on a small roofing issue. William contacted me right away and we set up a time Monday for an inspection. 30 minutes past when he was supposed to arrive I called --- no answer. Shortly after he emailed me with a weird Time has passed, let's try another day message. I was irritated but with such great reviews I figured I would give them another shot. We rescheduled for 5 o'clock today and here I sit, after hurrying home to be here and again 50 minutes passed. A no show. No email. No call.
Unless you enjoy getting jerked around, don't waste your time.
I have had Patterson roofing provide me a quote, and already scheduled a date coming up soon to replace my roof. The quote price seems very fair and William is a very pleasant and polite person to speak with. I will update later about the work when it is finished.
We had our tile roof underlayment replaced this week by Patterson Roofing and they did a splendid job. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding and they paid attention to all the details of the job. We couldn't be happier with the results. We got 3 quotes from roofing contractors for the job and they were all licensed, bonded and insured and Patterson Roofing was the low bidder. Generally I wouldn't necessarily take the low bid but William's professionalism and attention to my concerns stood out as well as the promptness of the bid.
The team showed up on time everyday and worked hard and cleaned up after they were done each day and made sure we had no questions or concerns. The one concern I brought up with William on day 2 was promptly answered to my complete satisfaction. My opinion is that if you don't use Patterson Roofing for your project you are making a mistake.
I needed help right away with my roof. The roof developed a leak because of the lack of a saddle or metal flashing surrounding the chimney. I was able to get an estimate that day and the work completed a day later. The crew was great and finished the work within 2 hours. I am so happy that I found Patterson Roofing! Patterson roofing was fantastic. William is detail oriented and thorough when inspecting the damage. He gave us a few options to do a partial replacement and whole replacement of the roof. We went with a full roof replacement, and couldn't be happier with the results. His crew worked diligently to finish the roof replacement well. When I was looking for companies to fix my roof damage I was very particular. I have had many people come and quote me because they saw what my house looked liked then triple charged me. The work that Patterson roofing did exceeded my expectations, allowing the price range that needed to be done at a honest price point. They sealed my roof and took pictures of where exactly the damage needed to be fixed, allowing a set up for success. William is very organized and I am happy that I chose this company compared to any other company I got quotes for. My roof is sealed and the damage is fixed . Beyond that I have warranty on my roof which guarantees that they did a good job.
Didn't do any work with the company but the guy that answered the phone hung up on me because I told him i didn't know what a Foam Roof was. That was rude.
I had Patterson roofing come and take care of my leaking casita roof earlier this year. He had coordinated a crane that picked up and moved my roof ac unit and put it back down. He also coordinates the AC guys to do the AC work. He added duct work so the unit would be reinstalled correctly onto jacks so water wouldn't accumulate under the unit. He put everything back and he will send you pictures of the completed job which is nice. He did great work. Then after that.... my master closet was leaking so he sent a foam roof company over to put foam on my flat closet roof.

This review is about a year overdue, but after this last monsoon I was reminded of what an awesome job William and his team did. After we bought our house last summer, the underlayerment on our tile roof needed to be replaced. After calling around and getting over five quotes, not only was Williams the most affordable, but it was also the most comprehensive and included birdstop.
His team were out within a week and had the roof done in less than 3 days. He was professional, efficient, and did an amazing Job. Well worth the money we spent, and he saved us thousands of dollars.

We just had our tile and our shingle roof replaced by Patterson roofing. William is professional and our roof looks great. William provided a detailed estimate immediately following the initial appointment. I actually enjoy the rain now that it no longer rains in the living room. The crew was tidy and left our yards as they found them. There was an issue with them leaving the side gate open and our dog got out. He apologized and followed up with them. If that's a concern of yours, I would suggest letting William know to communicate with the crew before they start.
We called Patterson Roofing after noticing a leak we had in the bedroom upstairs they seemed knowledgeable so we decided to go with them. When they came and stated they fixed the issue they requested payment asap but the next time that it rained the ceiling was still leaking... we called Patterson Roofing to let them know what a shady job they did and that they needed to come out and fix the issue asap... They just took my money and refused to come back out... I would strongly avoid working with this company.. they are RUDE and not a PROFESSIONAL company to work with... We will not be contacting this company every again..
I'm not sure how they are licensed but they are... we hired another company to fix Patterson Roofings job. Leak is now fixed.

I worked with Justin from start to finish. Some roof tiles had blown off my house during one of the Phoenix monsoon storms and I needed an estimate and repair. I called 3 companies and Patterson was the most responsive and ultimately the best value. Justin took pictures of before and after and made sure that the tiles matched. He also went above what was required by sealing some cracked cement caps to avoid any water damage in the future. He kept me well informed throughout the process and I felt confident in his abilities. I would definitely recommend including Patterson roofing in your search if you're looking for a roofing company.

Patterson roofing has completed two jobs on separate rental houses for us. The results for both were excellent. Patterson replaced the the entire roof on one project, the other project involved fixing a leaky roof. They were prompt, professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

I can't speak to the quality of work from Patterson roofing, because I could never get them to show up. Had 2 scheduled appts. with them and no show both times. Very frustrating to take off work early and fight traffic only to have your appt. time come and go with no notification whatsoever. William Patterson was nice enough on phone and apologized by email second time, but said he understood if I wanted to go with someone else. A bit surprised because I own my own business and if I let someone down 2x, I would not have suggested going with someone else. I would have done whatever humanly possible to get to customer's house ASAP and get job done to avoid a negative customer experience and the social media consequences.
These guys are really good. I have a flat roof and also had some facia issues. I had three other companies that said they would do the roof but wouldn't touch my facia, said I had to find someone else for that. Was getting frustrating because the facia needs to be done at the same time. Patterson came out and had a great crew that worked together and knocked it out like pros. Was really impressed honestly and thankful that I found a company that knows what they are doing. If you can fit them into your schedule you won't be disappointed.
I am a licensed Realtor in Arizona and currently have my previous primary residence under contract for sale. It was a home built in late 2015 and the home inspection turned up a few broken tiles and a small area of composite roofing that needed to be repaired. I contacted many roofing companies to address these minor repairs and never received responses. William called within minutes of my request for an estimate via yelp and provided me with his email so I could send the home inspection report. That same day I had an estimate and the property was scheduled for repair that week. The repairs were made and pictures were sent along with the final invoice. Just had a job completed by Patterson Roofing. It was to prep for sale of our home, and William was very accommodating in getting us the estimate and work done quickly. It was a small job, under $1,000, so it was nice they give great service even to the small ones. William personally came to inspect the work done by his team after completion, and personally followed up on a few items for us. Once the house sold, he was responsive to questions raised in home inspection. Would not hesitate to use them again in future and recommend them to friends/neighbors.

Top notch customer service from start to finish! Called Patterson Roofing based on the positive Yelp reviews. Within 30 minutes of leaving a message, we received a call back from William and within an hour, he was out inspecting our roof. He took the time to thoroughly inspect every corner of it, taking pictures of what he was seeing along the way. He showed the pictures he took while explaining everything in great detail. William is friendly, knowledgeable, and true to his word. His team shows up on time and works very efficiently. William calls during the project to make sure things are going well and will do a walk through with you at the end of the project to make sure you are satisfied with the work that was done. We were extremely happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
You often hear contractors state that no job is too small, well, I put Patterson Roofing to the test on that claim...all I needed was one single tile to be replaced on my roof, nothing else. To make matters worse, I live in Surprise, Arizona which usually means an extensive drive for most contractors. When all the other roofer companies out there turned me down because it wasn't worth their time, Patterson Roofing came to my rescue. William came to my house to assess the situation, expecting to fix the problem on the spot, but when the spare tiles he brought with him did not fit properly, he had to go on a wild goose chase trying track down a matching tile for my roof. This was not an easy task as the tiles on my home are no longer available. This meant that William had to spend his time searching roofing supply stores and walking bone yards trying to find an acceptable matching tile for my roof. He admitted to me that he could have made one of his spare tiles work, but if he wouldn't do that to his own home, then he wouldn't do that to his customer's home either. This so called small job turned out to be a big pain in the butt for William, but he never complained or showed any annoyance towards me or the job. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and he fixed my roof the right way. I found William to be very professional, clean cut, personable, and most of all reliable. I would not hesitate using Patterson Roofing again in the future especially considering the significant cost saving he offers with larger repair and replacement type jobs. I am grateful for his extra efforts to ensure a job done right!
I can't recommend Patterson Roofing enough. I was able to schedule a quote within a few days (most other roofers were scheduling weeks out!) and William had a quote for me the next day. On top of his competitive pricing and him having the best warranty I could find, he was able to do our roof replacement within 2 weeks of giving us the quote! (Again, other companies were booked 6+ weeks out!) Everything went smoothly with our roof replacement, William is great at communicating and keeping you up to speed with what's going on. His guys are reliable and clearly take pride in their work. The job was completed within a few days, as promised, and the quality of work is top of the line. Excellent experience! We noticed a leak inside our house and knew we needed to get it looked at before monsoon season. William was out within a day of calling and inspected our entire roof and determined what was causing the leak and what needed to be repaired. Even though our house is older he didn't push a new roof stating our roof was in good shape and just needed to repair the leaking area. Took pictures of the area so we could see what was going on and gave us a quote. After discussing it we decided to go with him without getting other quotes due to his professionalism, reviews and price. He did the repair within a week of us getting an estimate which is amazing customer service! Repaired the roof in a short amount of time and it looks brand new, like nothing was ever wrong. You would have never known they were there....cleaned up the entire area and took all trash with them. In a day where contactors are dismissive, non-communicative and have no customer service, William was amazing! His communication was excellent, always keeping us up-to-date and giving us updates on day and time he would be out. He truly strives to make the customer happy and works with the customer to make sure they are getting a fair deal. Will be back when it's time for a new roof!
