KY-KO Pest Prevention

Hate scorpions so we hired Ky-Ko Pest Prevention! They came out when they said they would, walked around the entire home, walked me through exactly what they were going to do to seal the inside and outside of the home. They gave me an on-site quote and I hired them. They put me on their schedule and came out the day and time they said they would. It's been 30 days since they sealed the home and so far we haven't seen any bugs or scorpions.

The best pest control. We live at the base of the mountain and have no more spiders or scorpions. Super affordable and no contracts! Shauna is the best representative and so knowledgeable. She is a joy to work with!

We had Tom come over to our house. He explained everything and it was very understandable and a lot cheaper than i expected. He was straightforward honest and entertaining. I'd buy more stuff from him if I could!

These guys were great. They came to the house for a seal inspection and
concluded at this time I didn't need one. They gave me advice on a simple way to deal with my cricket issue and were on their way.  How honest is that!  So appreciated! I'd hire them without hesitation in the future should the need arises.

I called to schedule an initial treatment and planned to continue a monthly service.  I was told in turn, the technician would call me directly to schedule an appointment.  A week and a half later, I heard nothing.  I called back and was given an apology - apparently the technician who services the area was on vacation.  
So someone else (Nate) was scheduled for me instead.  He showed up almost 2 hours late, and I watched him spray one of the plants in my front lawn... it is now dried up and dying.  Also, I don't believe he bothered spraying the perimeter of my house... at least not thoroughly.  That was the initial appointment - I haven't heard from them again... I guess they don't care to follow up and don't need my business.  I've already scheduled with another company regardless.  
I definitely don't recommend this pest control service, unless you want untimely appointments, shoddy service, and your shrubbery killed.

Kyko used to be a good company when Raydon was performing my pest control services. Since then it's gone down hill.
I've been having issues with pests in my house right after they perform their service. I decided to stay home one day and observe them while they sprayed.
The driver arrived and sat in his vehicle for 12 minutes before he finally got out, grabbed his gear and started. He did not mix any solution, just strapped on his sprayer and started. Within 7 minutes or so he was done and left.
As I watched him through windows he missed about 40% of perimeter of the house and garage. As soon as he left I went outside to see what and where he sprayed. There was no obvious evidence that he sprayed anything as he walked around.
Was charged for 4 gallons on pesticide. Since he didn't fill up his container before he started and there is no way possible to spray 4 gallons without leaving some trace of moisture I can only assume he was just walking around with nothing better to do.
Avoid this company and look for another.

Genesis I do believe is her name has been coming to our house for several years now. She Has shown everything in her powers to give the best customer service to my family which includes our pets, constantly. I highly recommend Ky-ko simply because Genesis is awesome

Requested a free roof check via their website I found water damage on the garage wall and ceiling after heavy rain.

Initially I thought it was an issue with the siding and that it wasn't draining properly.  I was half right.  It wasn't because of the siding that cause the water to pool on our roof but the debris and mud.

Phil came out and found it right away.  He had me get on the roof with him to look at what he found.  He also gave me some tips and tricks on how to clean and maintain.  

He found no actuals holes or damage with the roof but he stated that if I wanted to somehow get the section adjusted, he recommended another smaller company.  He stated that of KYKO did it, they would have to redo the larger section and not just the small area.  I respected that.  Very truthful.

I will call them in the future for any roof problems or maintenance.

I was using them for my normal pest problem, there are still webs everywhere. You'd think for a company that's supposed to control pests they'd at least remove the webs

I was more than satisfied when I started my service with these guys. Ron was always on time and would come right over if I had issues. I'm on my third technician now. He is never on time. My house hasn't been dusted for scorpions in months. The crickets are almost as bad as they were when I moved in. I think they have changed the product they use and the the strength. I'm trying someone else.

KY-KO has been amazing. I recently moved to Phoenix for a short term period and every other company out there requires a 12 month contract. KY-KO does not require that. Caroline was amazing when I called and gave me helpful tips until someone was able to get to my house. She had Giovanni come out within 2 business days and he was so nice and made sure he knocked every time he needed to walk in and out. I appreciated how respectful he was since I was home alone. 3 weeks later I had them return due to some more activity and it was free of charge and I was not expecting that-it was due to it being within a 30 day window. Shout out to Caroline and Giovani! I highly recommend the KY-KO team.

Had house sealed 1 year ago and get monthly treatments outside. Great quality service, knowledgeable staff, awesome people in general. Anthony is my provider for monthly service. Always has a good attitude, attention to detail, is very thorough. Responsive and happy to help when surprises surface (which is exceedingly rare). They are fantastic!

I hired Ky-Ko about 7 years ago to get rid of our pigeon problem.  They were successful at the time doing so by putting up spikes at the area it was nesting.  Just about 2 months I called upon them again because the spikes broke off and we have the pigeon problem again.  Since the were originally the company I contracted with to get rid of the pigeons, I believed they would help me again.  When I called them they were very nice and I gave me a quote for what I thought was to eradicate the pigeons again.  They claim The net above the door is shredded and needs to be replaced,some of the wires on the roof are down need to replace all of them to get the 3 year warranty, there is a window ledge in the back that needs spike. ten cleaning on treated areas.  I believe I was contracting with professionals to get rid of the birds so I agree.  

After their completion of the job, the pigeons remained.  Instead of putting enough spikes to eradicate and prevent the pigeons from nesting on my roof, they merely replaced what was there in the hopes they would go away.  The pigeons just scooted down past the spikes.

I complained what they did not not work and that I still have a pigeon problem.  They said I need to pay for work that was done before they can do further.  But why would I pay for work the didn't solve my problem.  I told them I would pay them if they do as I contracted and that is to get rid of the pigeon pests.  Why would I call them unless I want to get rid of the pigeons.  They said they are gave me an estimate on just replacing the spikes.  I don't care about whatever needed to be done but only to get rid of the birds, whether it have been to put netting all around the roof.  They are the professionals and should be the ones to recommend the necessary means for eradication.

So now I still have the birds.......I highly recommends not contracting with them.

Raydon at Kyko is a great guy and amazing asset to the company.  Beyond the excellent service, he's become a friend in just a few short months of servicing our home.  He will come out at the drop of a hat when I see a scorpion or other bugs, and beyond just the great service, he's just a pleasure to work with.  Can't say enough about him or the pest control service.  You will not be disappointed if you call for him specifically.

We were recommended this company by someone we purchased our home from.  We decided to give them a try.  I have never worked with a better company for pest prevention. They asked exactly what we wanted and gave us options to meet our needs.  The friendliness and professionalism of the staff is great. I one had a billing question. One ring the phone was answered and I had my question answered and explained. The technician (Thank You Genesis) checks in on each visit and gets an update on any issues.  You should give them a try.

Chris has been very accommodating helping us to control a flock of pigeons that call our roof home. He is responsive, timely and professional. Glad to have found KY-KO!

I have had a few pest prevention companies in the past and they were ok but Ky-Ko is fantastic.  They show up when they are supposed to.  Raydon is the most pleasant and honest person I have had the pleasure of working with.  I live in the Foothills and I have only seen 2 scorpions in my home/garage since I started using Ky-Ko several years ago and they were half dead.  I couldn't be any happier with a pest service.

I had wasps swarming my screen door and went straight to YELP for pest control reviews. KY-KO came up with 5 stars so I called them. Anthony got out here as quickly as he could. He searched thoroughly, but couldn't discover the hive. I was impressed with his professional manner and information. Hopefully, those wasps were just passing through, but if they come back or if I have other pests show up, I'll definitely call them.

Some companies promise to exceed your expectations and never do. Ky-Ko just does it in everything they do. We have had them seal our place and provide monthly pest control, including for scorpions. We have had great results!  In the few times we've needed extra service, they have responded immediately and solved our problem. I would highly recommend them for all your pest control needs. They are accessible, responsive and very effective in what they do.

It's been about a month since our house was sealed and I am thrilled to report that aside from a tiny spider here or there, we've had NO uninvited guests.  If you're having bug issues, I highly recommend having your house sealed.  It was somewhat expensive but the peace of mind has been worth it.

Kyko pest prevention has done a great job of keeping the inside of our home scorpion free for five years now. Once a month their technician Ryan calls to let us know when he will be coming, shows up when he said he would and then sprays the outside perimeter of the house. Ryan knows what he is doing, is careful around fragile plants and objects in the yard and answers any questions we may have. We trust Ryan completely and he treats us like valued customers. I would not hesitate to recommend Kyko to anyone who wants to keep their home bug free. Their cost is very reasonable considering the peace of mind the service gives us.

These guys are amazing. Brian has been with us for years and he is so professional and friendly. He knows my kids names and knows that I work from home so let's me know via text when he's coming as to not scare me. They also did our sealing of our house for scorpions and it was so helpful!

We have been using Ky-Ko Pest prevention for at least the last 8 years now.  We currently use them for monthly pest control at both our home and our rental unit.  We also had them do home seals and pigeon mitigation at both homes.  Very professional organization.  Raydon is fantastic - friendly and professional.  We have been late for more than one appointment, and Raydon always waits for us - no complaints.  I highly recommend Ky-Ko.

I have been using this company for over a year. Brian is the best! He accesses my home when I am not there, very thorough, very trustworthy and very good at what he does. He doesn't oversell me on anything, and yet if I call him he makes it a point to show up quickly. He sprays monthly for bugs, powders my rocks for scorpions, and just removed two wasp nests for me. I am so thrilled with their service, I HATE BUGS!!!

Ky-ko was recommended by a friend so they were worth a introductory inspection. They assessed the house inside and out and gave several plan/pricing options.  I suggest getting the whole house sealing.   The guys were knowledgeable and worked quickly.

I must say that I have been using KY-KO Pest Prevention for the past 6 years now and absolutely love them...However there is one employee that seems to be the most caring one of all.  Rodri is my service man and yesterday he went far out of his way to care for a little lizard that was stuck on one of my glue traps i accidentally kept outside...He used vegetable oil to release him from the glue and then poured some water in his hand and let the lizard drink.  Two minutes later he was set free.  Thanks Rodri for caring so much and taking care of my home.

I have used Kyko for 7 years now and could not be happier with their service. I have had very few problems with pests and when I did have a problem they would take care of it immediately. We've been using KY-KO for over a year now, and they are fabulous. My pest control guys name is Radon from Ky-Ko. He has been so punctual, always calls me so I can close the dog door and is so polite. For three years since Radon took over my account, I have not had a scorpion in the house!!! I am grateful.

I highly recommend KY-KO.  Knowledgeable, experienced and friendly staff who are great to work with.  Took a lot of time to educate us on what to do, what to expect and how to avoid nasty critters in the house, including scorpions.  Very customer service oriented at all levels of the company.  Most important - we do not see pests in or around our home!!

KY-KO not only sealed my home after two massive bee infestations where bees literally got up, inside our walls, but I now also use them for my monthly pest prevention.  While sealing up my home was not an inexpensive venture, it was well worth the money we spent to keep those darned bees (and other pests) out.  Getting bees out of my walls was no small task and to have to do it twice, was really annoying.  Bees leave a pheromone so that they know where to return to and once the pheromone is there, they will come back over and over.  And since about 90% of the bees in AZ are now Africanized, it is not fun to know they are trying to co-habitate with you.  KY-KO sealed my home and they have never returned.  At the time, I was using another exterminating company, had been for years) but always still had many 4 legged friends in my home and outside.  While the sealing did keep the majority out, I still needed to exterminate as there are always doors, windows and ways flying things can get in.  Once I made the switch to KY-KO for my monthly prevention, the bugs virtually stopped.  It is a rare occasion I have a bug in my home other than the occasional Flies.  The nice thing about it too, is they check my seal and make repairs to it as necessary for free and they also remove cobwebs and bug debris around my home.  I am completely happy with KY-KO's service!

We have been using Ky-Ko for almost 2 years now. We have had three different techs service our home in the 2 yr time frame. The tech we have now is by far the best. Craig is always asking if we have seen anything we shouldn't be, very friendly at our 6:45 AM appt. time and very thorough. We have recommended this company and Craig specifically to many friends and to our family members and we will continue to do so! I feel like Craig genuinely has my family's safety in mind and does his job effectively!
