So I convinced the owner Brad to register this business for yelp, because Charlotte needs to know how good he and his team really are. He came highly recommended on Next Door and for good reason. Called him for an estimate, first impression... they kicked their shoes off at the door, looked at the switch that needed to be fixed and fixed it on the spot! (Read as in: no waiting until next week, and no unprofessional trips back and forth to Home Depot, he had the tools and supplies he needs to do his job). I had originally called Foster's to add some canned lighting, a new outlet in my kitchen, and an outlet under the counter for a garbage disposal. They did an amazing job! Really tidy, as in when one guy cut the plaster another stood there with a vacuum getting all the dust. Covered all of the furniture, disposed of all the trash. Brad also made sure to update the list of breaker switches in the electrical box. I could not be happier with the improvements. Really great prices for the caliber of work that you receive. Super easy to communicate with and his email invoicing is very convenient.

We are so pleased with our new water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water system Cooper's Water Conditioning installed! They came out quickly, tested our water, and gave us a quote which was less expensive than other companies for the same or similar equipment. They scheduled the install to fit our schedule. Paul the installer called to let us know he was coming exactly when he said he would be at our house. Paul was fast, efficient, and installed both the water softener and reverse osmosis water system perfectly. When he was done he cleaned everything very nicely. He walked us through everything we needed to know before he left. The price was exactly as they quoted. We could not be more pleased with the entire system which was installed! Thank you.

Service was prompt and very fair. Even left me with some knowledge on prevention, correction, and why the issue occurred in the first place. Very good experience. Will use again for future projects/issues.

Mr. Winters was very kind and attentive as I explained our troubles with two different toilets. He offered several options for solving our problems with both and was willing to explain it all again to my husband over the phone. He was honest, thorough, and conservative with his solutions, never pressuring us into unnecessary purchases. We will definitely call him with all future plumbing repairs and evaluations.

Installed a new water heater. They gave an accurate estimate before coming out. Fair price, excellent service and arrived early. These guys will be my new go to plumber. Highly recommended.

I had a clog in my home's sewer line. Hope came out, tested the line, and said I would need a clean outline installed so they could complete the removal of the obstruction.
I was given an estimate for the work. With the estimate I asked for a breakdown of material and labor costs and was told we don't do that
I stressed that I needed this repair done ASAP as I had sewage backing up in a basement drain. I agreed to the estimate and a 10% deposit was paid as requested.
The estimate was done on a Wednesday and the job scheduled for the upcoming Friday morning @ 9am. The Tech from Hope did not show up until @ 3pm. I was not informed at any time earlier that day that there would be a delay.
The Tech said it was too late to start the job, and he would be back on Monday. Keep in mind I have sewage backing up in my basement. I asked for a Saturday (next day) start and was told no, it would have to wait until Monday.
Before he left, the tech then, without discussing with me, drove a large excavator over my front lawn with the intention of leaving it there all weekend. It was parked away from the repair site and if left there would have further damaged my grass. I asked him to remove it and bring it back on Monday. He complied, but was obviously not happy with having to move the machine back to the trailer it arrived on. This resulted in unnecessary damage to my front yard grass.
On Monday the repair was finally done. However, the resulting excavation pile was scattered over a larger area then the excavation dig itself, and contained broken pieces of the dirty sewer pipe on top of the dirt pile (see picture) The smell was pretty bad.
I asked the tech to have the debris removed and the dirt pile consolidated and graded to the point where it will settle evenly over time. (see picture) He said that he had to leave, but that Hope would call me to schedule someone else to take care of this cleanup request.
He also insisted before he left that he collect my balance due in full because if I don't, I will be in trouble when I get back to the office Red flag, and I now understand why this adamant request for payment was made.
I was never contacted to complete the worksite cleanup. I called the Hope office 3 times over the next 5 business days to get the work completed. I also sent an email with the before pictures contained in this review. I was repeatedly assured I would be contacted by what the Hope main office called an Excavation Manager to address my concerns. Not once was ever contacted by phone as requested, or my email or text. I asked to speak with the owner, I was twice told he is too busy to speak with customers today I asked that he call or email me when available. He never did.
Frustrated, I simply did the cleanup and proper grading of the excavation site myself (see picture captioned completed) to include collecting up more sewer pipe debris that were supposed to have been removed by Hope.
I was very disappointed by the unexplained delays, the shoddy quality and timing of the work, the lack of customer service, and the poor communication and attention to detail that I experienced from Hope Plumbing of Indianapolis.

I thought long and hard about leaving this review considering the owner seems to be somewhat reactive in his responses, but figured I always use yelp to find the best of the best, and my fellow yelpers deserve to know my experience as well.
So here we go. We had a toilet that wasn't filling in our rental. It was Sunday night of all times for this to happen and not something I could hold off until Monday unless my guest didn't use the toilet. So... I checked out yelp to find an emergency plumber in the area. I wasn't sure if it was the shut off valve that was leaking or the fill valve was defective. So, Yes, I could have gone to Home Depot to get the parts which would have totaled about $30 MAX. But, figured I'd get an expert in who could do it quickly. I checked yelp and saw that seriously 24/7 had some pretty good reviews, however several mentions to them being expensive. Like, obscenely expensive. I figured, Aside from the $159 emergency fee, how bad could it really be for parts that cheap? I called and the lady taking my call was pleasant and they got someone out about 1.5 hours later. The cost would be $159 plus any work to be done. The guys who came were friendly enough, and then they hit me with the cost. This is where the I almost fell over. They wanted $587 to replace the fill valve (nothing wrong with the water shut off). Or, they could replace the toilet for me for $1200? Are you actually kidding me? Seriously they were not. Since I already had $159 invested in this, a couple of hours of wait and a renter waiting for me, it didn't make sense for me to then head to Home Depot for my parts on a Sunday night and have it take any more time. For God sakes I could have gotten a whole toilet and a ring and replaced it myself for $150 if I had another hour. Seriously disgusted, I agreed to that price and in 10 minutes my problem was fixed. Oh great, it comes with a year warranty! Awesome, considering I could always replace it for $15 if i needed. (Looked up the exact part at any box store). Glad I have a functioning toilet but don't be like me and think to yourself how bad can it actually be?Because it will be worse. I am leaving this relationship feeling violated, but as a consumer you should know this business uses a predatory pricing scheme.

Outstanding company. They show up when they say they will, they're very professional and they do quality work. Prices are competitive. I will definitely use them again.

Pictures indicated complicated door installation but my simple door installation was unacceptable! Asked if he could recommend someone......not able to recommend any one else. Gets one star because he at least got back with us.

Called Carter's out for a new gas dryer instal and hookup. Very friendly customer service from the first call. The technician called before our appointment and was right on time. Very pleased with Carter's My Plumber.

Excellent to dealer with. From the office personnel, to the techs on site to the owner. Originally called to get estimate on a humidifier instal. The tech said he could but would be a waste of money. I saw since you're here give me a price on a whole unit, heat and ac. The price was more than fair and the install, a little difficult because of location they made look easy. They cleaned up before leaving. I would easily recommend PHP to anyone seeking and plumbing heating or AC work.

What started out as a positive experience ended up being not so great.
I had a Steve lined up to come today (3/4/19). I felt very comfortable with him and his reviews. I took a half day off of work and was home by 11:45 at the latest. Steve called and texted at 12:04 to say his plumber was on his way and was I home? I didn't hear his phone call or text, either because I walked outside to the mailbox at one point or just didn't hear it when I was mopping the floor. I called Steve around thirty minutes after his initial phone call and he curtly told me he sent his worker (his son) to another location. Note: I was home. He said he would send his son out between 12:30 and 1:30, after he finished up with his previous job. He never said he would call ahead of time. I had just texted him pictures of the water damage the previous night (3/3/19) so, obviously, I was going to be home.
There was no excuse for what he did. His reasoning was they always call ahead of time because customers change their minds. That was NEVER mentioned to me.
I was very clear that he was the plumber I wanted to use, and that I was taking a half day off. Obviously, I planned to be home if I texted him on Sunday night at 7:00, showing him pictures of the water damage in my home.
I would never treat a customer like this, and as a result, I would never recommend him to anyone.

Plumber was friendly, professional and prompt. But pricing is what I'd have to call gouging. $321 to replace a leaking toilet shutoff valve. Ouch. And they charge $95 just to show up, so when the plumber quoted me $321, if I had turned it down I would have been stuck paying $95 for nothing. No-win situation.
When making the appointment I explained exactly what was needed, later the plumber told me they had flat pricing. I wish they would've told me that over the phone, instead I had to pay $95 to find out. It was a 10 minute job to install a $10 part, I just have no idea how they justify that pricing.

Very disappointed. I called Godby to find an electrical problem because a neighbor recommended them. We'd had a leak and the plumber (who did a great job) said the cause was an electrical current arcing on the pipes from malfunctioning fixtures. Godby's electrician spent something like four hours examining our electrical service and assured me there was no problem.
A month later, another leak. Plumber (same company but different individual) confirmed the problem was electricity on the pipes. Called Barth Electric; they sent an electrician who found the problem promptly and fixed it. Needless to say, I would NEVER use Godby again. Not only did we throw out the money we paid them, but the subsequent leak that could have been avoided cost nearly 400 to fix--and that's before repairing the hole in the drywall.

We got a written estimate from an employee of Petermans. He printed out the estimate while he was here and gave it to us to replace a 2 ton electric furnace. The estimate was for $4,200. The employee Kevin Mucho left a company folder with all the information about the company and the estimate and his business card. We had a repair done costing us $288.00. The company DID NOT provide an estimate for the repairs and the tech said this amount would come off the furnace installation. NOT five minutes after the employee left from the repair we got a phone call from Kevin Mucho telling the estimate he had given us was not valid. We have reported this to the BBB and the AG. asking for our $228.00 back. We are senior citizens and do not appreciate Deceit, Deception and Lies!! We feel we have been SCAMMED!!!
