I called Southern Electric of the Carolinas (in Rock Hill) because I had a puzzling intermittent flickering lights problem on multiple circuits (but not all of them).  The owner, Tommy Palmer, came to check it out to provide an estimate.  He was able to quickly trouble-shoot and diagnose the problem.  He suspected a bad connection inside my electric meter box.  He immediately called the city electric company to open the meter box.  There was, in fact, a bad connection.  He immediately got a permit from the city to work on the meter and sent a crew (Ron & LJ) to work on it.  They had to coordinate their work with the city electric company to disconnect my electric service at the street, have the city inspector approve the repair, and then have the electric service turned back on.  They took care of all of the logistics and got the job done amazingly fast.  While all this was happening, they also did another minor job for me at the same time.  The bill for their work was quite reasonable.

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

Moshe did a fantastic job replacing three ceiling fans at our new house. He was prompt with communication and arrived on time. One of the fans I'd ordered from Lowe's was defective, but we didn't find out until after Moshe had it installed. He removed it, boxed it all up to return, and didn't charge me anything, even though he still had to do all the work. He'll be coming back out once I get a replacement from Lowe's, and he's earned our business for life! He was also very friendly. I can't recommend him enough!

Gus Ballas (Wolf Electric) will be our go-to fellow when it comes to our electrical needs.  Not only was he prompt and professional, he kept his word about keeping his appointment to come to our place when other electricians either failed to call us back or, worse, scheduled, then cancelled, then couldn't be reached.

I'm almost hesitant to give Gus of Wolf Electric such high marks because I may not be able to get him out here again because he will be so busy.!   Just kidding.  Please call Gus - you will be really happy you did.  

He is knowledgeable, personable, thorough and reasonably priced.  He won't quit until the work is done to his absolute perfection!

LKN Electric put an outlet in above my fireplace for my wall mounted tv. They did an awesome job! They were right on time, worked quickly, and installed the new outlet with minimal dry wall damage. The pricing was very reasonable and I will use them again for sure.

Do not use unless you like being ripped off! They will overcharge based on your size of house and claim that's what was quoted. Plus, not all of my lights work after they installed them

I gave this 2 stars only because Cory was very personable when he was at my residence. Other than that, I would only give 1 star! The quote that was given to me for a few minor repairs was way overpriced. I replied via email stating that I would like to see the project itemized to determine if I may only have a portion of the work done. No reply. His quote of $829.25 is being done now by another electrician for only $250! That's a huge difference!

Since this review Polk electric has fixed all issues and made this right for me and my family.

I was referred to these guys by a friend who had had a good experience with them on a bathroom renovation. So-I called them this week and they squeezed me in on Friday. They were right on time & very professional.  They had sent me a invoice via email based on our original phone conversation. So-when the job was complete I paid them and then a few mins later there was a knock on door and guy came back and said you paid us to much. Ended up not doing the same a they had quote and was a  less monies. I thought WOW that's not something you see everyday, an honest person and company. I highly recommend them!!! VERY IMPRESSED!!!

I've used Putnam for probably 10 years now and they have always done a great job. Always professional, do quality work and pricing is fair. The few times that the problem wasn't handled on the first visit they came back when I called and took care of any remaining issues. A real person answers the phone 24/7 and they have service techs on call over the weekend. Bottom line.....great company. I tell everyone to call them when they need HVAC work done.

I'm so happy with Bates Electric! Peter Herres was very professional. He installed some dimmers, and fixed an outage in our bonus room. He did everything in 2 hours. Other companies were looking to overcharge us. I felt Bates Electric gave us a fair deal for the amount of work. I would recommend this company, and Peter! We will use them again in the future.

Had my smoke detector system replaced by one of Mister Sparky's skilled electricians on 12/12-13/ 2022 at a cost of 632.00. They had to return on 12/20/2022 due to the failure of the brand new system to work properly. I was assured that problem was resolved. Well It isn't , I called this afternoon 12/26/2022 to report that the problem persists. I was advised that it would cost me an additional 300.00 for a technician to come out to check  the brand new system that is under warranty that has been in my home less than a month.. specifically two and one half weeks, I refused ...then Mr. Sparky suggests that I pay 69.00 ... No! Mr, Sparky advertisement clearly represents that their electricians are Skilled.... The system has not worked a full week after its original install date of 12/12-13/2022.  Yet I was expected to pay additional fees to the same skilled electricians to return and attempt to resolve the on going issue.... Clearly this is not going to end well.....I am now on STAND BY STATUS for an electrician to return to my home on 12/27/2022. Now they are suggesting that additional fees may be charged! Why would I have the confidence that Mr. Sparky can resolve the issue?  The intent is to keep collecting fees!   Really Mr. Sparky , to suggest that l pay an additional 300.00 and/69.00 for service rendered two and one half weeks ago is insane.

Jason came to my house the same day I called and knocked out our problem in less than one hour. He was professional, he explained the situation clearly and was very willing to do whatever it took to get us fixed and comfortable with what happened.

Will definitely be using them again!
