I had a very bad waste pipe and house drain pipe break in the basement. It was REALLY BAD! I called Fenix Pipe Repair and Mike answered the call. He came and analyzed the problem and the very next day fixed everything. He went above and beyond my expectations and gave me a very good price for the work. He used quality materials and did the job quickly! Mike is very professional, courteous, knowlegeable and considerate. He came on time. He was able to spot other smaller problems and fix them too! I can't say enough good things about him and thank you doesn't suffice for all that he has done for me and my family. He is now our official plumber! Thank you again!

My house had gas leak by the gas meter and I called National Grid and they temporarily fixed the problem and gave me 5 days to get a plumber for permenant fix. I called the plumber accross my house right away on Monday morning before going to work. He came saw the problem and said he might need to get a permit, will let me know the next day. Next morning I go, he still did not call, tells me he will give me estimate Wednesday.
Wednesday, he came to check the leak one more time and told me the whole gas line needs to change and the cost would be $3000. I told him just fix the problem, don't create additional work. I told him to give me time to decide and came home and logged on internet to find other plumbers in the area.

Thank God I came across A Farr Plumbing and after reading the reviews I gave him a call. John, the owner, came two hours later to see the problem.
He said it can be fixed without changing the full gas line and told me he will call me the next morning to give his estimate . John called me next morning and said he will fix it for $650. I was happy with his price, and  we agreed for him to come at 8 in the morning Monday. He called Sunday to confirm it again and Monday morning at 7:45, he was at my door. He finished the problem in three hours and later on showed me what was done and walked me through the gas appliances to make sure that they were working.
After John left, I called National Grid for reinspection, they came and said all was fine. The other plumber was saying that he had to test 90% pressure test and that it wont hold, well John did all those tests and it is fine, but also informed me that additional problem might arise while fixing but thank god, nothing happened.

John is a professional guy, I will always call him for any plumbing problems. I also recommended him to my friends. The other plumber saw me this morning and asking me if I got a good estimate from A Farr Plumbing because he must have seen the van in my drivway, I just said much lower than yours and it is all fine nowand walked away.

I needed a new water heater after sandy and Bill came over to install it. Professional, neat work and I've never had a problem with it since, he did the job right. Some plumbers in the past have done poor work that starts to leak months later, but I've never had s problem with bill and will continue to recommend him to friends and family

I had Alive Plumbing come out to fix my plumbing and they were fabulous. They are so friendly and nice and when they work they keep their area clean, which I love. They do such fantastic work that I will always call them to come and fix any plumbing problems that I have.

I had an emergency with a broken toilet over a weekend. Semba picked up the call right away, provided an estimate, and got to my place within 25 minutes. Professional service, worked in the issue and fixed it within a reasonable time. I was very grateful.

Wishing that Mr. Barone was back in business fully! He really saved my hide when there were issues with the water heater and boiler. He was very professional, reasonable and dealt with the inspections that had to be done with the DOB. God bless him!

For more than a year our building super and the building's plumbers unclogged our toilet over and over.  It would be ok for awhile, then clog a gain.   It clogged again last Christmas Eve and I found Manny on line.  He arrived in about 30 minutes.  I wasn't there even and our building porter let him in.  He called to say that just clearing the clog wouldn't do much and he needed to remove the toilet.  I said ok.  He said the charges would increase.  Ok.  Since then we have never again had a clogged toilet.  So even what the building's big plumbing firm repeatedly failed to do, Manny did politely, efficiently and thoroughly.  Thanks!

We have used Clear Flow over several years for both small jobs like a leaking sink and larger ones like replacing our heating boiler. We cannot say enough how pleased we have been always with their service. They respond promply,  do excellent work and charge a fair price.  The aways answer all questions and offer good advice. They are always our first choice. Wehighly recommend them.

Pro: MyGuy Plumbing was very professional, clean, organized and on time. The work they performed so far has been great, no issues. I would recommend their work to others.

Con: I was charged almost $500 to swap out a sink faucet that took about 20 minutes for them to do. They have a book that outlines cost for their service folks, and isn't based on actual job at hand. I'd love to use them again, but I can't afford to bring them back for future jobs at their rates and pricing structure. If the costs are defined, then I wish they had provided a quote over the phone to start showing ballpark figures, with me understanding things could possibly change once they get out there to fully inspect the situation.

Neutral: There is a service fee to come out and that would be applied to the job if you select them on the spot. This is normal though for a lot of folks in my area.

Have used them for years. My landlords used them before I was a homeowner and even as a tenant when they came to service the building they gave me good information. Now as a homeowner of over 15 years, I've depended on them....their work is always good, and if they don't get it right the first time (say, in diagnosing a problem), they will stand by their work and get it right. Also have had them do big jobs (switch out older water heater/boiler.) In my experience, it's a good business run by dependable and pleasant people.

I am at the end of the kitchen remodel when I called MD Plumbing and Heating after a kitchen contractor failed to properly install my toe kick heater on a Saturday. I came home to a house that smelled of gas so I had to shut off the heating system. I called on Sunday expecting just to leave a phone message but Mike answered the phone. He was professional courteous, and friendly. I arranged to have him quote the work. He arrived on time and went over my options for repair and explained the necessary items that would be needed. I felt confident that Mike knew how to do plumbing work and had the skills to back it up.

I hired him for the installation of the toe kick heater which occurred on Friday and hoped that the failed installation of the toe kick heater by my kitchen contractor did not cause any major problems with my heating system. I wished the answer was no but upon final installation and test of the heating system my boiler was dead. I had Mike quote a replacement boiler since the old one I had was 20+ years and replacement parts were nonexistent. He came on Sunday and installed it. I am happy to say I have heat again in my house. The new one is smaller and the new piping and vent work is professional and clean looking who knew a boiler could look so good. I have all the items the old boiler never had shut off valves that you can reach without having to be on a ladder for both water and gas, on/off switch for service and I know longer need a drip pan for water. The bonus is Mike called on Monday to make sure everything was working properly that is good customer service which is hard to find.

I will be calling Mike back to finish the plumbing work in my kitchen and for any other plumbing work I need to have done.

I was not able to reach them for a few days either through the website or through the phone. They did not call back either.

Jimmy, the owner is a rare find in the world of plumbers.  Our pipes burst last week and we woke up to a flooded basement (fortunately we happened to be here at our vacation home over the holidays!)  We found Allstate Mechanical on the Internet and called.  Jimmy came to our home and during the service call (where most companies charge you separately to just diagnose the problem) he was able to not just locate all the broken pipes but he also fixed them. One call.  Jimmy is very upfront and honest about pricing which we appreciate. We've been left high and dry with other plumbing companies who surprise us with an additional price in the middle of a job  - all they do is lowball their initial price to get you to hire them. Not here. Jimmy is refreshingly old-school in that he takes great pride in his work, is honest, hard-working, excellent at what he does and makes every effort to make his customer happy.  Will definitely call him again.

Unless your issue is urgent it may be a wait to get a visit from Jimmy.  He always pulls through when in need and never has to come back to take another look. One visit and your problem is fixed. Thank you!!

No show twice. First time thought it was miscommunication. Second time, upon request, provided full details over SMS and got no response of confirmation and no one came.

This company seemed like they were good and very pleasent on the phone but then after coming a day later than expected the plumber lied about the time he spent at my house and totally ripped me off. I should have made them write it down when arriving and leaving but instead I stupidly trusted them. I also don't believe that they didn't go for lunch for an hour while getting the part. I will never use them again!
