Joe and his guys  installed a hot water heater for me today. They showed up on time and completed the job within the time frame i needed. They are very professional and experienced technicians. They cleaned up whatever debris there was  and removed the old tank and all the packaging materials.  Joe stayed a little while after the job was completed to make sure that everything was functioning properly and he explained the settings on the heater to me.   His price was very fair for the job he did and he installed a good quality heater.  I've been around a long time and been in business myself for over 40 years and i pick up vibes from people.  Joe is a good guy and i believe he really cares about his customers satisfaction. I was able to sense these qualities when he came over to give me a work estimate and that's why i hired him. I highly recommend Joe the plumber for all your plumbing needs!  Al Biondi

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. As an added bonus we needed new fixtures and John helped us find the best (and tasteful, fashionable desiegn) kind and stay within our budget. We won't hesitate to call Plumber NYC again.

What else is there to say about Pete? Simply put, best option out there. Reliable, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, effective, willing to explain things. Use him, he's the best!!

I am not rating them based on their work but rather on their lack of customer service. Tuesday 6/15 at 6:05 p.m. I sent a message that I would be available on Friday 6/18. Received a reply on Wednesday 6/16 asking for my address which I promptly sent. Also mentioned that my husband was home if someone wanted to go by. Reply was I will let you know. Never heard from him until I messaged him on Friday 6/18 at 9:40 a.m. I sent a message asking if someone was going to come by and if so please let me know approximately what time. The reply was give me a few and I will let you know (10:33 am.) At 12:35 sends a text telling me what it could run me xxx dollars.
I replied I wanted to make sure the company can do the work. He said when I was ready to do the work let him know. To which I responded that I want to have a conversation first to discuss the work involved, cost & timeline. He replied he was booked for that day but can stop by on the weekend or during the week after 4:30p.m. Said he was free Saturday & Sunday, weekdays after 4 pm. Asked if he could come by tomorrow, Sat. 6/19. At first I said after 12 then sent another message with 8-9 a.m. Reply was give me a few and I will let you know (standard response). He can do 2-3 pm.  Saturday 6/19 at 10:10 sends me a message that his guy will be at my house in about an hour. I said I wasn't home but will be by 1 and reminded him that agreed time was 2-3. At 11:27 I let him know I was home. His response he will be there as agreed. At 3:16 I asked for his ETA. At 4:51 he responded with his guy got stuck on a job but will come by on Monday but someone needs to be home all day.. Excuse me? I told him to forget it because he wasted my time. He wasn't the first nor the only plumber I contacted but he was the only one that wasted my time. Everyone else showed up when they scheduled or called/texted to say they were running late. The person texting I am assuming is Zach who should learn that you get more bees with honey than with vinegar.

I would like thank  Angelo from c Angelo plumbing and heating...I called with an emergency situation and he returned my call very quickly...Angelo was very professional and kind and I appreciated his help with the situation.

Although at this time I didn't need to use his services (due to unforeseen circumstances) I would definitely refer or use him in the future... he made me feel comfortable about my situation which alleviated a lot of my stress

I can't recommend Carmine highly enough. He is extremely knowledgable, helpful, and responsive. When our boiler started acting up on an especially cold Saturday morning, he was at our door in just a few hours. He carefully diagnosed and fixed the issue, adjusted the settings to make the system more efficient and reliable... all while explaining to me how the whole system works. That night, he called to check in and ensure everything was still working properly. Carmine is a professional who goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are safe and warm. Professional, fast, efficient, and overall a genuine dude, I couldn't have asked for a better electrician. I've been through a fair share of electricians in NYC and these guys seemed to be all the same. They all carried disgruntled, rude attitudes while also overcharging, many didn't even do a satisfactory job. Overall I never had any positive experiences with electricians until I found Hitch. Everything about him reassured me that he was going to do a great job without ripping me off, and especially I felt comfortable around the guy. When he came to replace my breaker panel, not only was his work quick and excellent, on top of that he even fixed my broken intercom, free of charge! This guy is simply awesome and I recommend him to everyone. I'm just so glad I was able to find the #1 electrician in New York!

Initial scope only included installation of a new light fixture. At the last minute, I thought it might be worth asking if he had extra USB outlets on hand that could be installed (time-permitting), so I asked, not really expecting much. He went above and beyond my expectations by visiting a nearby electrical store, picking up a couple outlets and staying longer to swap them in for me! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Rich came to our apartment to fix a broken switch. I reached out via Yelp after seeing his stellar reviews and he was able to come the following day. Everything from scheduling to the actual repair was straightforward and reasonable. Very, very happy with the service.

I had a problem with a fuse that kept blowing.  I found Mickle on Yelp, called him in the afternoon, and he scheduled to come over that same evening when convenient for me.  He had no problem with me rescheduling for a bit later at the last minute.  When he arrived he figured out the cause of the problem and performed the work necessary to fix it.  Even though it took longer than he expected, and kept him late on a weekend night, he did not alter his original price quote.  Thanks very much.

This company was great for fixing electrical issues in two ceiling fans in my apartment.  

When I called, they provided a quote that was reasonable (when compared to other places I called) and as a new customer, fit me into their busy schedule within 48 hours.

I would also recommend the electrician who stopped by, Ralph, who was prepared (even brought a replacement receiver for the fan) and professional. He would walked me through what he was doing constantly and was not pushy. He identified that the fans were improperly wired immediately and worked quickly to fix the issue.

I hope that I don't have additional electrical issues, but will call NYC Electricians if I do.

I called Nair to help review the electrical work in my apartment after my previous contractor & electrician had left me with a kitchen that couldn't run the stove/oven. Gaston quickly identified the issue, as well as several other unsafe errors made by the previous electrician. He quickly helped repair one of the problems and recommended additional solutions get the electrical setup the way it should be. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, explained all of the issues clearly (especially for a novice like myself) and was very friendly and helpful.

Overpriced.  They charged me $275 for valve replacement.  Another licensed contractor said will do others in my place for $50-75 each.
