We recently purchased a 20 year old home in North Scottsdale that was gutted and flipped (to us). The one thing the seller did NOT do with the remodel, was cabinets. He saved $$$ by simply painting the old cabinets and it really looked out of place with the quality of the other items he did.

I found Better Than New Kitchens and Dan Oldejans, here on Yelp. After searching around the interweb a bit more, I found that his business had FAR SUPERIOR ratings and reviews than anyone else...hands down. So we went with him.

The outcome???? Phenomenal! All we did was a reface, but man oh man, unless you open a cupboard door, or drawer...you'd NEVER know it!! The workmanship was more like craftsmanship. Dan and his team worked clean, precise and professional. We couldn't be happier with the entire process...from the first phone call, to the final walk through.

His pricing is fair and equitable, and he is not afraid to be honest about certain things you can do to save $$$ without compromising the quality of the job.

It was refreshing to use a licensed contractor that was on time, respectful and above all... High Quality!!

Cornerstone Cabinets completely modernized our office kitchen! Before they came in we were in the 1980s, now sets the bar completely to 2020 standards. Our remodel is luxuriously updated and is as elegant as I could ever imagine. I had no idea our space had the potential to look so beautiful, but the quality design, workmanship and attention to the smallest details really shows in the completed project. Chris is fantastic to work with, has wonderful insight and vision, he will point you in the right direction from start to finish. We have been working with Cabtech this past year, completing 2 projects and gearing up to start our 3rd! I cannot say enough about the positive experience we've had. We started with our media wall and fireplace project, pictures attached. The design process was quick and easy-I sent inspiration pictures and they crafted it to fit our space. My favorite part about this whole project was that quality lead every step, and they were willing to share their expertise with suggestions about how to make certain aspects of the project better. As with any project, once in production there were small functionality things we noticed and wanted changed. Every contractors dream right?! Well everyone from DJ, Ernie, Jimmy to Pete were receptive, understanding and willing to work with us to achieve our vision. As with any project these days, we dealt with some supply chain issues but Jon stayed on top of communication with us and the supplier. We did have one area of the fireplace wall that didn't look quite how we thought it should and when we brought it to DJ's attention, he was incredibly helpful and also pointed out another piece that did not rise to their own quality standards. Both were redone no questions asked. We absolutely love the final product, it's better than the vision we went into this project with. Though we dealt with some delays, one thing I never had to battle about was quality craftsmanship, which took so much stress off my shoulders. The saying is true that you get what you pay for, and working with Cabtech is worth every penny.

I just completed a three-car garage renovation with T.W. Garage Pros.   Tyler and Wyatt, two brothers, are very experienced craftsman who recently started their own business.  Their customer service was outstanding and they were very responsive.  In addition, they werevery cost competitive.  I liked that I didn't have to wait months to get the remodel started and completed.  They completed the polyaspartic epoxy floor in two days.  It should have been completed in one day, except that the Scottdale black beetle invasion created a one-day delay in applying the final clear coat (YUK).  They started the cabinets on Monday, after the floor cured over the weekend, and finished on Tuesday.  My goal was to touch everything I packed into a rental box truck only twice, once in and once to put away in the cabinets.  Tyler and Wyatt made this possible!  
The saddle tan floor looks perfect. They took the time to properly prep it and the way they applied the coating was truly an art form.  I chose to do a full wall, and one corner, of floor to ceiling (10 ft tall) light oak cabinets, which matched the floor nicely.  The cabinets were pre-cut, brough on site and installed with no issue.  They look beautiful and clean!   Overall, these guys did a great job on my garage remodel!  I'd definitely recommend them.  

My only recommendation for TW Garage is to provide another service, i.e. pack, store and unpack the garage treasures (junk) while the garage remodels are going on

I've worked closely with contractors and handymen for the last 10 years. I'm not sure if I should write separate reviews for each project or one really long one. The owners of One Stop Woodworks have been working in my home off and on since they put in the custom wood and iron stair railing. As other contractors failed to appear as promised and left us in time crunches, I turned to these two reliable brothers for recommendations. They let me know they were licensed contractors and could do just about anything I came up with. They also told me what they didn't do (instead of winging it). I cannot say enough good things about Daniel & Israel. As professionals, they do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. They communicate. They are flexible, knowledgeable and creative. They are skilled craftsmen, with high standards. They're strengths are as carpenters & woodworkers, but they have in-depth understanding of the big picture and crews to cover other work like plumbing & painting. They leave your home cleaner than they found it and respect your property. I've made every hiring mistake there is over the years and learned what value really means. You hope the work you get and the price you pay will line up and you'll feel good about the money you spent; that neither party will feel that they've been taken advantage of. One Stop got their license in March of 2020, so you may not see enough reviews to suit you. I met them in October 2020 and they continue to work with me and my clients. You won't regret your decision to work with them; they are excellent, fair & honest people. Check out the photos of my custom electric fireplace insert and mantle, built from specs before it arrived to match the custom stair rail. See the whole house interior paint that happened after the original paint contractor canceled. Look at the tiny pantry closet remodeled into a full custom under stair pantry. Check out the pantry door reconstructed with framed in glass, custom paint & hardware. See the 1993 laundry room converted to an amazing work space with cabinets, custom folding table, in-wall ironing board, custom shelving, hanging bar and utility/dog washing sink and the lovingly refinished Iowa farm door. These are just the highlights. The guys changed my fixtures out and seemed to enjoy seeing the changes as much as we did. It's been our good fortune to meet & enjoy the people from One Stop Woodworks.

The cabinets are excellent.  We felt the salesman, Wayne, dropped the ball somewhat. The first situation was a miscommunication regarding cabinet handles and drawer pulls.  We thought we agreed on a selection for handles and pulls, but the installer said no handles/pulls were on the order.  We had to go outside and purchased and have installed the handles. The second situation was we asked him to design a separate cabinet using cabinets and racks to provide additional storage at the end of the existing cabinets - he never provided a finished design.  At the same time he was supposed to be designing a separate cabinet we asked him to quote an upper cabinet at the key drop. Never heard back - so we went to Foxworth-Galbraith and had them quote, provide, & install an upper cabinet.

Highly recommended! Very competitive with pricing and communicative throughout the entire project. This team was able to come out promptly, provide a quote and complete installation with just a matter of 2 to 3 weeks. Outstanding quality cabinets with attention to detail during installation.
