I came to Yelp looking for someone to replace our side gate to the yard. Juan from JM Custom Iron Work was super responsive and helpful from the start! We got our gate done quickly and at a fair price. Communication was always great and he always responded back within a short time so we had no questions unanswered. Would definitely recommend!

Just completed a project with Mike Stocker  at Steel Creations & Fabrications. Reputable, reliable and honest are great ways to describe this experience and these folks. And.......their work is top notch! They replaced my exterior fence and it looks beautiful!

Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. I came across Gabe Castle, owner of Sacred Steel AZ's work on Offer Up and was intrigued by the many unique projects Gabe completed. It can be intimidating reaching out to a company you have never worked with but I decided to reach out to Gabe and am very thankful I did.

From the moment I contacted Gabe I was impressed with Gabe's willingness to actively listen to my thoughts while answering questions and offering suggestions. I did not feel any pressure from Gabe and at no time felt rushed when explaining my vision. Gabe helped me understand what can be done with metal and offered suggestions from his years of experience and his expertise took my vison to another lever that I did not think would be possible.

Gabe's attention to detail was evident from start to finish. (I am that annoying homeowner that loves to hover and ask questions so I was very involved with the project which allowed me to see the time and effort Gabe displayed in making sure my project was being constructed to my liking). The more I got to learn about Gabe to more I realized the pride Gabe takes in his work and his willingness to always go the extra mile.

My project involved working closely with another contractor which can be challenging but Gabe did not skip a beat and worked hand in hand with my paver installation allowing both companies to do their best work. Gabe showed up on time, every time with strong communication skills that kept me in tune with the project completion and was also patient with me when I asked to modify the plans on the fly. At the end of day, Sacred Steel aims to please.

If you are considering getting any type of metal work done I would highly recommend Gabe at Sacred Steel AZ. Through the entire project my thoughts were at ease knowing that Gabe was on job and that's a piece of mind money cannot buy.  While we are on the subject of money I felt Gabe was honest with the cost of materials and did his best to get the maximum yield out of material to help stretch my dollar further. Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.

Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands. I contacted Larry because I needed an RV Gate on the side of my house. He came over and spent the time to go over all the details for the type of gate I needed. A week after we met it is installed and done. There is nobody in this business like him. Very prompt, honest and quality work. I wouldn't even waste my time with anybody else. I even got proposals or tried to get a hold of everybody in Phoenix that does RV gates on Yelp. Thanks again Larry.

From start to finish this company was outstanding!  After speaking with one of the owners, David spent time explaining the process and even showed me their products behind closed doors.  What owner of a company will actually sit down with a client and show them their products and even put a sketch together on the same day.  I knew right then and there that customer service was everything to him and his company.  

My custom entry gate took several trips from the install manager to ensure the measurements were correct and the beams fit properly.  I cannot thank Ruben enough for his attention to detail when installing this difficult gate!!!  Shout out to Ruben and hoping he can be the one who installs our security door when we order.

If anyone out there is looking for a company that has integrity, customer service, and top quality material...look no further!!!

Made a phone call regarding a malfunctioning garage door. Service man came within 2 hours, explained the problem, the solution, and did the fix on the spot. Pricing was very reasonable and did not try to sell me more than I needed.  No issues and would recommend to all.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Alpha. After getting a few outrageous quotes, I contacted alpha via project messaging on yelp. Not only did Vanessa contact me immediately, her tech (J) came out the same day in under an hour and was able to fix it in the same amount of time for a mere fraction of the cost. Even better, I got zero lies about how my door was on its last leg and a disaster waiting to happen, or that my how would complain about the fix because it would still show signs of damage like I did with the other companies. Instead, I see zero evidence that there was ever a dent and the door functions better than it did before! And all of that with an added year warranty on the work. Alpha proved everyone else a liar! I could not be more grateful! Just when you think honest companies didn't exist anymore....sometimes you're blessed enough to find a gem like Alpha Commercial. Skip the quotes- hire these folks! I have a broken gate which caused my dogs to get out and I lost one of them :( so it was a priority of mine to get both of my gates replaced ASAP.

I first contacted Upright Garage Door and Gate on April 4 for an estimate. Rob replied instantly that he would call to make an appointment. He came by after I followed up after a week.. I received an estimate from him on April 20 and confirmed with him via email and phone that same day that I was ready to move forward asap with the deposit and install after he got his final measurements.

I followed up on May 2, 4, 8.. and every few days after until late May. Every time I was actually able to track him down, Rod said he was writing it down in his calendar to get the final measurements and order the gate the next business day, but he never got back to me.

It is late June now and I still haven't heard anything from Rod so I had to go with another company. Truly poor customer service and Rod never seemed on top of things when I asked for an update or install date. The price was good and maybe he would have done a great job but I suggest going with another company if you want something done.

Joel replaced our gate and a small section of fencing. Showed up in time and got the work done in one day. Communication was excellent from the start. Very professional and knowledgeable highly recommend

Alden contacted me immediately and we were able to talk through the issue I was having with my gate hinge. He came out at the next available day and fixed the gate hinge quickly. He's very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. If you need a local gate repairman, I would definitely recommend Alden's Gate!

We called sunscreens by mark based on some the comments he had received. We did not negotiate the price and although the job took longer than expected we were relatively satisfied until we called with an issue we noticed on 2 windows and asked him to come take a look.  The job was almost $3000.  We were told that gas was $4 a gallon, he knew there was no problem, he offered me a bet of $1000 that if he came he would find nothing wrong and he would love to see egg on my face.  Very verbally aggressive.  Threatened to sue me if I commented on yelp.  Said he would come Saturday am but never did.  I fully expect a vendor to come back if I, the customer, have an issue for that kind of money.  Hadn't asked before.  This was first time.  Not the way I expected a vendor to react!

They were great, came out same day for our repair, the guy was very nice and honest and the price was very reasonable. I will be using their company for any future repairs which I hope we don't need lol!

Yikes! Run don't walk away from First Impressions,
met with one of their  sales people at our home as we wanted to purchase a pretty ornate door. Once we made out selections the games began, the price kept changing, first a soft quote l, then our door wasn't standard up charge, needed a bumped out frame up charge, change direction of the swing up charge.  

We'll I up and told them where they could go and ended up getting our door from Desert Hills, I'd strongly  recommend them l, not the cheapest but they are tradesmen who obviously take pride in their business and product

What a fabulous experience.  Kevin came and gave me a quote, no pressure, just a great salesman.  When I finally de died to move forward, he came back, at my request so that I could check once more if I made the correct choice.  Today, Richard came out, called first with time frame and then right before arriving g, just as I had requested.  He was detail oriented, took his time and did a wonderful install.  Needless to say, the opening wasn't even and it took time and patience and he did it to perfection.  Great experience and I would highly recommend Kevin and Richard who represent First Impression ironworks.

Had our front gate installed about 8 months ago and have never been happier.  From the moment we called to get a quote through to the day of the actual installation we have received nothing but the best customer service.  We recently had a slight issue with the alignment of the gate which might I add had nothing to do with the actual gate, but had to do with an eventual shift in the pillar as the home was a new build.  I had contacted First Impressions to see if this was something they would assist us with.  As a curtsy they had sent out a technician to realign the gate for us.  Technician arrived earlier than stipulated fixed our issue and was very professional.

I recommend them for their quality work, pre customer and post customer service and if the need arises in the future will definitely use them again.  Thank you First Impressions you have our vote!

Please consider this review.  The rating is only this good because the final product and employee, Oscar.  I would only recommend them if you a) don't know what exactly what you want; and b) do not care about timeline variability.  I agree with the other reviews written at time of this one.  Dan/owner was referred to me through my network for a new staircase railing.  He is indeed friendly and knowledgeable as others stated.  Where I believe he added incremental value vs. the incumbent vendor is that he helped me create a custom design to my taste vs. I needed to submit a picture of what I wanted to the incumbent.  He was also less expensive than the incumbent.  However, they took almost double the timeline offered and he did not communicate there would be a delay and/or the reason for the delay.  Dan knew the timeline was important to us because we had a safety concern.  Additionally, Dan denied being the owner when we called to complain; I can only assume he does not like conflict, but this is obviously concerning.  We had no choice but to wait for their timeline, which we wouldn't even have known when we were on the schedule had we not called to complain.
