I filled out and submitted their form online for a free estimate to have my gate fixed and received no answer. After that I called twice and left voicemails and again, no reply.

My side yard service gate needed the spring reattached and latch repaired. I scheduled the repair for the following week and Alex the repair tech called 30-min prior and arrived just as scheduled.

He had all the tools and bolts needed to fix the gate and added a latch cord so I could easily open the gate. Repairs cost $100. Very happy to have the gate working.

I have a broken gate which caused my dogs to get out and I lost one of them :( so it was a priority of mine to get both of my gates replaced ASAP.

I first contacted Upright Garage Door and Gate on April 4 for an estimate. Rob replied instantly that he would call to make an appointment. He came by after I followed up after a week.. I received an estimate from him on April 20 and confirmed with him via email and phone that same day that I was ready to move forward asap with the deposit and install after he got his final measurements.

I followed up on May 2, 4, 8.. and every few days after until late May. Every time I was actually able to track him down, Rod said he was writing it down in his calendar to get the final measurements and order the gate the next business day, but he never got back to me.

It is late June now and I still haven't heard anything from Rod so I had to go with another company. Truly poor customer service and Rod never seemed on top of things when I asked for an update or install date. The price was good and maybe he would have done a great job but I suggest going with another company if you want something done.

Alex is very professional and repaired my gate within budget and that very same day. The rate is fair but again you get great service and results for your home. Upright Garage door was a great company to work with. I received a response within an hour of contacting them when my garage door decided to start ripping. They came out and did an estimate and unfortunately we had to change out the whole door, but it was 20 years old. They were fairly priced and  did the job very quickly. Would highly recommend them. The hinge on our RV gate rusted and broke off. We had a different company come out for an estimate and told us we had to change the whole gate for over $1,225. We only needed the hinge rewelded back together. Ron was prompt to answering all of my messages through Yelp and over the phone. He was able to get Alex out to us the same afternoon. Alex was exceptional! Honest, prompt, and professional! He went above and beyond to reinforce the other latches too. These guy will be my go to for repairs! Rewelding the hinge only cost $150.

Speedy response to my inquiry and he was there same day for an estimate.   The gate was repaired within two days and the price was reasonable.

I manage a self storage facility and our gates take a beating.  We've been having problems with our gate for at least the past 4 months and it's caused a lot of stress.  Rod & Josh came out and within in hour problem solved.  They didn't waste ANY time so as they might have been able to charge another hour.  Very honest, hardworking guys.  What a difference from the other places I tried calling.  The best and one of the most inexpensive if not the most inexpensive.  I would HIGHLY recommend them for a business or residential work.  You'd be crazy not to hire them.

My garage door stopped working on a Saturday afternoon due to broken torsion springs, I called UpRight and was surprised to have Rod pick up my call on a weekend afternoon. He quoted me $225.00 to repair the broken springs and I called back a few days later to schedule an appointment. Rod was very accommodating and friendly, Alex was my service technician at the appointment and he was just equally pleasant. He notified me that he was running ahead of schedule and asked if it was okay for him to stop by before our appointment time. Alex performed the service without trying to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs and stuck to the quoted price. I highly recommend these guys for your garage repairs needs.

The Story: A local friend had a garage door spring snap yesterday early afternoon.  He said it made a heck of a noise and shook the house!  The door was down so he could not get his car out... turns out the door weighed over 250 pounds!!  He called me for help.  We may be old but we can do this!  Nada!!  Using all our combined engineering and massive muscles (unused in years) that door was not gonna budge.  Neither of us knew who to call and our best vendor referral sources were not calling back.  Awaiting my arrival he had already started an internet search for new springs.  What to do?  We were about to return to my house where I would loan him an extra vehicle to drive until he decided what to do...he really wanted to fix it himself or call someone he could trust on known referral.  Then as I got in my car he said  I'd just call someone if I thought I could trust them AND that they could fix it this afternoon (it was already 2:15P!)  Dream-on, Bud.  Anyway, I got on my smartphone, used Google Maps and found a link to a garage services business website that works locally in Anthem.  I went to the website: UprightRepair.com.  Impressive.  I told him about their $220 Web Special: complete double garage door spring replacement including installation.   He called them, spoke with Rod, co-owner, who told him yes, yes and yes...trustworthy, 15 minutes way and would come fix it like knew for the special price.  Rod came as promised, Alex replaced the springs, etc. as promised and within a couple of hours my Bud's garage door was like new!  He  was a happy camper.  

The plot thickened.  My double garage door has begun showing a bulge previously unnoticed, so while my Bud was getting his garage door repaired I had Rod to come look at my long postponed garage door issue.  To make this short , Alex, came to my house at 8:15A this morning and by 9:30A had repaired my main door bulge issues, checked out my opener and chain system, adjusted and serviced the springs on both my two garage doors, adjusted the door-to-chain links, and reset the opener stops for perfect door open and closure-sealing.  Cost $150.  Now I am as happy with UpRight Garage Door and Gate as my friend who got me into all this saga.  Thanks much, Rod and Alex.  Kudos and Recommended.

These guys did a great job fixing up my garage door. It hadn't been serviced in years and now it's whisper quiet and working perfectly. Great people, I definitely recommend them.

The side wooden gate of my house was faded and needed to be refinished to be in compliance with the HOA. After looking through many vendors, I decided hire Upright Garage Door and Gate to replace the woods and paint touchup. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable cost and are very professional and easy to work with. My gate now looks very nice. I would recommend them if you need your gate repaired.

I called to get my gate adjusted. After I had new stucco applied to my house it stopped closing correctly. They came out the next day (on time) and had it fixed for about $100. Very professional and quality work.

I've had problems over the years with my garage door opener and have had a couple different companies come out but nothing seemed to work. I decided to give Upright Garage a try and I couldn't be more thrilled. Josh and Rod were extremely professional and friendly, they took care of everything and were fairly priced. I'd be more than happy to recommend them to my closest friends and family. Great job guys!

I was having trouble opening and closing my ancient garage door.  I called Upright Garage Door and Gate.  Rob promptly came to my home.  I fully expected to have to purchase a complete new door and mechanism.   Rod discovered my sensors were shot.  He did not have the correct part on his truck and promised to return the following day.  He returned as promised, replaced the sensors, and made a thorough inspection, cleaning and oiling as he went.  

Rob told me he thought I could get a few more months or years out of my current system.  

That is what I call complete HONESTY.  

My garage door has not operated this smoothly and quietly in years.

Beyond an amazing experience. A few weeks ago my gate came out of the wall from a storm and continued use and when I woke up I found some random person swimming in my pool. After that was all sorted out I shopped around a bit until I found Upright Garage Door and Gate. I told them what happened and they came out that day. Alex was the man who fixed my gate and even tightened the back gate a bit for me. Great work all around.

Fast forward to today I go to put my recycle bin outside my house and I can't fit it through the gate that Alex fixed! I called them up told them the problem and Alex was out here by 1. He fixed the gate again and didn't even charge me for the service call. 10/10 service 10/10 people. If I ever need repairs again I will always be going though Upright Garage Door and Gate.

Had a gate problem. Called Upright. An appointment was made then and there on the phone for about 5 days in the future. Josh showed up on time and fixed my gate within a hour. Good service. Friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

First, these guys answer the phone on a Saturday night. Second they had a firm price, at a time that they could come out and fix it. Third they showed up on time got the work done, all for the agreed price. Alex was great as the tech. No surprises, great work, good price.

I called Rod about my broken garage door this afternoon and he was there in less than two hours! In fact, he got to my house a little earlier than our appointment, before I was back from walking my dog(!), but he saw that it was an easy fix--just a little bent--and fixed it. He was driving off as I returned from the walk (madly flailing my arms trying to get his attention!). He left his card and a vcm with his direct #, so I gave him a call right away. No charge. WHAT????? And he gave me a ballpark quote on a new door right then. When's the last time you experienced this kind of customer service?? Upright Garage Door has MY business, that is certain. :-)

My electric gate was stuck closed and Josh and Alex were able to come the very next morning to fix it for me. They were right on time and fixed the problem both efficiently and very reasonably priced. Then, Josh went above and beyond to help me program my keypads and cars so everything would sync. So nice and friendly - extremely professional and polite. I love finding great service professionals and Upright will be our go-to for garage and gate needs. Bravo!

These guys are great!  On time, knowledgeable and helpful.  I now have an app on my iPhone that will close my garage door if I forget.  Very cool :)   My new garage door opener is very quiet compared to my old one (installed in 1999).  I highly recommend Upright Garage Door & Gate Repair!

Great experience with these guys. Alex was the guy that came out and he was awesome. He quickly told me what the issue was and then what a solution was. I told him I've had 2 other companies come out and look and the other 2 were suggesting to replace the whole garage door, Alex said that wasn't necessary and to not spend the money on a whole new door. Any little dents that were in any other struts or tracks he hammered out and fixed, he realigned the sensors and tuned up everything. Afterwards, he explained what he did and why he did it and how it was a good fix instead of doing a whole new door. I highly recommend them, zero pressure, great results and very friendly.

They quickly scheduled the repair for the garage door and did a nice job.  Nice warranty as well.

we hired them to diagnose and fix our electric gate. they came and said we needed a new battery  we bought the battery  gate still did not work  we called  instead of saying they would come back and correct their misdiagnosis, they told us to check the fuses!!!!!!???????? We paid $85.00 for absolutely nothing and no customer service at all.  Terrible experience- very expensive

Showed up on time for my appointment. Price was reasonable and quoted up front. Great guys to do business with. I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with their garage door.
