The two gentlemen who came were very clean and tidy and brought their own tools and ladder. They were polite and I was able to take a work phone call while they worked. I also felt very safe with them in my home!

Greg is great.  Gave me an estimate over the phone that was reasonable.  Emailed me his license and insurance.  Set a day and time.  That day, Greg phoned to say he could be early which worked for me.  He was punctual, very professional, extremely neat, efficient, personable, and patient with me when I changed my mind about something -- three times.   He relocated and replaced two recessed lights, replaced one recessed light, installed and put together my entry light fixture, and replaced a dimmer.  Greg even covered the holes from my two old can lights with paper and painter's tape, so dust and debris from my attic wouldn't fall onto my dining room table (his idea).  Everything looks and works great.  Count me in the fan club.

My review is based off of my experience interacting with Vince from Veteran Electric, and while I did not end up using them I would strongly recommend giving them a shot. Vince was very upfront and honest with me about the job I was requesting, and even gave me some tips and a heads up on things to watch out for. In the end I decided to take a completely different route for my EV needs. It sounds like everyone who has used Veteran Electric has had a good experience.

Talk about service!  We had a short in the line to our water heater and Paul was able to come out on a Saturday afternoon and fix the problem at a very reasonable price.  Turns out the builder had wired the connections at the outlet backwards.  If you ever need a top notch electrician, call Paul!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. We are currently renovating our home and as a result have met with many, many contractors for various work needed and were elated to finally have a very transparent, easy, and professional experience.

Prices are upfront and fair. Excellent communication with scheduling department, owner, and the electrician. Our electrician Mark was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and tidy leaving no mess to clean up. Also, and perhaps most importantly, the owner Ian was professional, polite, and displayed a lot of integrity.

Quality of work and overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!

I've been very impressed with the services provided. I needed a new water heater installed and both he and his crew did a great job! Mr. Geovanny even accompanied us to the store to select the best water heater. He explained everything thoroughly and he genuinely is interested in helping the client. He also explained the maintenance for the water heater (flushing it annually - something I wouldn't have thought to ask. It's my first time purchasing one). He also helped install a new fan. I highly recommend him! He and his crew are courteous, detailed, and thorough.

We decided to replace our dishwasher on our own but when we saw the previous electrical work and could smell melting plastic we knew we needed a professional to do it right.  Robert came right out and disconnected the old washer then connected our new one which is now up to code.

Living in an older home with old wiring has made me conscious of the fire hazard and I'm so glad to have found a reliable electrician. They are friendly and prompt and I will not hesitate recommending them to family and friends for home or business electrical work.

Great people to do business with. Professional yet personable crew did an awesome job installing our lighting in the warehouse. The end result was fantastic! Our new go-to for electrical needs.

I had Beekman Electric right after Harvey. Mr. Beekman came out and gave me a very reasonable quote to put LED recessed lights in. His electrician, John, came out the next morning with his helper, installed my lights and did a great job. They were professional and made sure they cleaned up.

I called Beekman Electric late yesterday because of an electrical outage I couldn't resolve myself. He made an appointment for me today the 15th. I called this morning and told him that after I had talked to him I found out about my water not working. The electrical problem also caused my well to go down. He told me he would send John out earlier so he could get me and my water back in business. John came out and started checking where any problems could be. He checked electrical currents, breakers, well house, and two storage buildings. He found the problem and fixed it! I have been happy with Beekman Electric. Their prices are fair and their service is outstanding.

Called them to find out some information about a master electrician and the older woman on the phone was VERY rude and combative.

I couldn't even get out what I wanted - she kept cutting me off!

Who operates like this??????

Very good communication and free estimates.
The technician came right in time and was able to diagnose and solve the problem in the same visit.

Worst company I've ever hired. I got their value plan with all around service and maintenance. Every time they visit, they leave issues behind. They break equipment and tell you that you'll have to pay them for the repair. They over charge. You get very little benefit from their value plan or whatever the official title is.

Example 1 - plumbing
Saw the problem, said they couldn't fix it, I suggested a solution and suddenly they figured out the solution. I received a heavy charge for them removing a plug from my garbage disposal.

Example 2 - water heater
I asked them to do annual maintenance. The tech breaks it somehow and tells me that it's broke and the water would no longer heat. I argued with him over the phone and suddenly it started working again. I called another tech to confirm if there was any issue. The tech from another company told me that it wasn't an urgent issue and could wait a long time before being fixed. The alternative company also replaced the system months later for a fraction of the cost.

Example 3 - AC
System fan was having issues. Abacus told me that with my discount, I would pay 199 for them to diagnose (excluding trip charge). This does not include any repairs. I worked for a major HVAC manufacturer and know that this price is on the high end. No thanks

Conclusion: I ended my membership. I will never use
