It's hard to find a contractor you can trust and we finally found someone with Darrell. He is very fair, reasonable, and understanding. We had a minor electrical issue and he fixed it without charging us. In addition we had some major plumbing work and Mike and his guys were very professional and hard working. Darrel walked us through the whole process and gave us a fair price. He followed up personally even though he was working on a different job. I highly recommend Sims and Sons.

This was the second visit from Joe. This time it was an additional light and switch I needed installed in a closet.  Joe came out less than 24 hours later, had everything required for the installation, and very quickly had the service run and the switch and light installed.  I highly recommend Joe for any electrical work in your home.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. We have used Jake over the years for all of our electrical needs. He is absolutely amazing and always works incredibly hard and fast. If you are looking for surround sound, new canned lighting, rewiring or all of the above, he is 100% the man for the job!

O.K. , so I see the electrical system as one of life's great mysteries.  So, I needed the wizard to help install a new (for me) used kiln.  This piece of equipment is no joke. Pulls lots'a juice and gets very, very hot.  Pictures of the building going up in smoke or the wares melting into a puddle of glass (I'm a worrier) filled my vision.  I called these guys based on some knowledgeable reviews (folks who do not see this skill as magic).  As it turns out. just because your paranoid does not mean that you might not be right.  The owner, Neville sent out a pretty sharp worker dude who picked up on the fact that the  wires did not look quite right.  And...they were not.  He came out personally and made the right call.  Good Job, Performed on time and as promised.  Can't ask for more than that.  I hate it when my frears are reinforced but, I'm working on it.  Just not today, today I'm safe and up and running.  Get the right wizard !

It was a pleasure to see Ted again when he came to make the estimate, and Carlos and Steve were so expert and thorough. To see my Chicago bungalow abandon its dated ceiling fans, now that I have (very effective) central air, and now to enjoy a very natural looking track lighting, was thrilling. Traci in the office ensuresd closure and follow-through on all steps of the process. As the company has grown through its successes, it still feels like a loving family business.

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Mike from Advance did an excellent job. I called, he came by to provide a quote. I hired him and when he did the job it was clean, priced as quoted with no surprises and ahead of schedule. I will definitely use him again.

I found Frank a couple years ago when I needed some updates and code issues resolved. He's super knowledgeable and honest!

Our most recent business with Frank was a hot tub installation. The location of the tub posed some issues making the electrical end of it more complex than normal. Frank came in with the best ideas and a creative solution. His price couldn't be beat and the final result is gorgeous. No visible cables or conduit. He did a super job. I will be using Franks services again soon.

Customer service is exceptional! The first time I used Current they had very limited availability and I had to schedule an appointment a week out, but the customer service rep offered to contact me if they got any cancellations, which I really appreciated, and I ended up being able to get an electrician out later that day! I wound up having to cancel my most recent appointment but I received the same great customer service nonetheless! Would recommend.

They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me.

Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. My advice is that if you sense your questions or concerns are not being met, just reach out to the owner of the company, Jesse!

I had major issues with half of my electricity going in and out for the last few months.  Two electricians came by and told me I needed a new box, to move the box, and to bury my lines, with a total cost of $10-15K.  A last minute look on yelp, and I called LMV.  He came that day, and told me it was an issue that the Village would probably be able to fix, for free.  He was right.  I will call him back, next time I need something.  Honesty is hard to come by these days.

I was impressed with the reviews of Vilano Electric, so I decided to use them to move a power line in the back of my house. He showed up right on time, and his crew were done so quickly. He even added a second brace to ensure that there was no movement of the line with the high winds we were having. I then asked him a quick question about my breaker panel in my new house, and he said he would take a look. He took out his screwdriver, explained what was happening, and gave me so much information to work with. I had a better idea of the safety of the electrical in my home, and was confident that when we saved for the big project, that I would call Vilano again.

Mo was so helpful in fixing my convoluted outdoor hose issues. He had extra parts in his van as well and explained each issue in detail. He also fixed our gate when he noticed something off. Would hire again!

I used them to install some can lights and run a new line to my pump room in my basement. I quoted out a few other places and AC was the lowest by $100, I believe.

Office staff and electricians were extremely professional all around. They were honest too. Told me I didn't need a new receptacle in my basement (but I did it anyway for my own reasons).

Would recommend them to anyone.

Great company! We had them do a couple jobs for us and they really so outstanding work! Prices are reasonable and the people are great to work with. We will be using them again!!!

I am a huge fan of Small Tyme Electric. I manage a few properties throughout Chicago and I have used them every time i needed anything done. Wether it's some minor updates or a complete remodel. Norh Is an amazing person. Such a pleasure to work with. I always have the worst luck when it comes to contractors so when I find a good one I hold on and don't let go. I'm willing to share with you as I want to keep him working for years to come so he's always there when I need him!

AWESOME!!!!  First of all, I sent an email at 7 pm and received a response the same night with an appointment for the next day.  Miguel arrived on time, masked and was fantastic.  Fast, efficient and reasonable! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!  Definitely will use them again.
