Best Solar Electric/PV System Repair in Seattle WA
Daniel was quick to respond, offered a fair quote, showed up early for the job, and quickly completed the electrical panel repair work we needed done.
Would highly recommend him and will absolutely be using him again for any future work.

Don't even bother calling them, the recording says they're not accepting new clients and existing clients are being scheduled 4 - 6 months out. Why even bother...?

I hired Honesty to replace a chandelier. They are easy to communicate with, show up on time, and quickly do the work. I would definitely recommend Honesty!

We had a 20 panel solar system installed at our house in March, 2020, by West Seattle Solar. Other than some communications lapses on their part, we were not aware of several problems until they finished the job and had been paid.
Problem #1 - We got charged by Puget Sound Energy (PSE) for the surplus solar power the system generated for three weeks. Instead of getting a lower electrical bill for March, we got the highest bill we ever received at this house including the coldest parts of the winter. This is because the owner left the system disconnect in the on position, telling us the meter would run backwards and give us credit with the utility for our surplus power in the time before the new netmetering meter was installed by PSE. He walked me to our existing meter and said, it is running backwards implying we would not be charged for our surplus power going to PSE and, in fact, get a credit. WRONG! So for three weeks surplus power flowed into the PSE system, but instead of getting some kind of credit, it was recorded as power we consumed and we were charged for it. West Seattle should have known this and left the system off. PSE gives no refunds in these cases. We just paid for a solar system and for the power it created at PSE rates for almost a month.
Problem #2 - Leaving the breaker on met power from our system was flowing into the PSE lines that they did not know about. Potentially, a line worker could have been injured thinking all power was off on the lines they were working on, when it was not. When the utility learned our system was on (because I called them) I was told to immediately, at that moment, go down and turn it OFF! West Seattle created a dangerous situation and some liability for us potentially and danger to PSE staff.
Problem #3 - West Seattle either did not submit the netmetering/system application to the PSE to have our system approved (before it was installed) and get a new meter that would record our power surplus correctly or they submitted it and did not follow up to see if it was approved. I filled out the forms three months in advance with West Seattle and they were supposed to submit them. When I called the utility to find out when we would be getting our new netmeter I learned they did not know about our system. I had to fill out a new application and submit
it. As soon as I did, I got a confirmation email from PSE. Apparently West Seattle did not check for a confirmation or just dropped the ball entirely. We could have waited for months for nothing to happen if I had not called PSE and discovered the problem.
I needed a schematic of the system which I did not have to submit the application to PSE. I called the installer twice and emailed three times and got no response. Never got the plan from them. Finally I was able to get the plan from our local permit office. Otherwise I was left hanging with no help or support of any kind from the installer. Without this document, the system could never be approved and used.
I could go into more detail, but simply we were left without support after a series of mistakes cost us money in a high electrical bill and left with a dangerous situation and an inoperable system as far as PSE was concerned.
Hopefully the mechanical and electrical parts of the work were done correctly. Who knows? I don't.
I regret using this vendor. We could have hired locally and I am sorry we did not.

I had a great experience with Artisan Electric. They are a local company close by where we live. The installation took 4 days as expected. The crew was on time each morning at 7AM. They worked hard through the days. Their final work was extremely clean, neat and organized. Their process from quote to inspection was smooth and professional. Now we are providing power to the neighborhood with clean, efficient and sustainable energy.

Nate came out to do my electrical job. I had a short & he was very nice & professional & thorough in finding the problem. The problem seemed to right itself when he pulled out the outlet - so he explained the problem was still there even if it seemed to fix itself, so he checked all possible causes & did a couple things where it went out again - because he didn't want the problem to occur once he left. Nate really has (had) my confidence in eradicating problem without overcharging me in the process. I've been looking for local, honest, fair pricing, especially in the middle of a pandemic when all businesses are feeling the crunch of not working steadily. Parker Bro's Electric I'm keeping as my new Go-To for all electrical needs. Thanks Nate!!

This is our third time utilizing Eugene's company.
Pricing is straight forward, communication is excellent and quality of work is wonderful. His employees are hard working and always use analytical thinking when solving issues, which is much appreciated.
We definitely recommend Reign City Electric and hope you choose to give business to a wonderful local company that truly deserves a 5-star rating.

Elmecco's fees are extremely high and they charged $300 project manager fee! They charged over $1000 for a problem of flickering lights in my Seattle condo. The electrician did not fix the problem at the 1st visit. He came back to fix it. They charged both visits ($330 each). PLUS $300 for project manager fee!
Below are their charges:
First visit June 1st:
Service call for flickering lights in unit - there was a half hour of travel time to the job, 2.5 hrs onsite opening light switches/outlets/light fixtures trying to diagnose the problem. Including travel time there was a total of 3 hours for June 1st.
3 hrs @ Journeyman Rate of $110 = $330
Second visit June 12th:
3 hrs @ journeyman rate $110 = $330
$300 - Project Manager 2 hours@ $150/hr
(The Project manager determines manpower required for scope of job; schedules the job; assists with troubleshooting issues; oversees billing)
$ 25 - Admin Fee 15 minutes @$100/hr (Administration handles intake call and invoice prep and processing)
$985 Total labor cost
$99.49 Sales Tax
$1084.49 Total

Can't say thank you enough to Mat Molzan of Synergy! What an impressive job he did on dealing with our 100 year old electrical problems and installing new lighting. Not only did he install this complicated hanging track system (on 100 year old ceiling) perfectly level, he also helped us find the right LED lights to protect our stores products. He also rewired several outlets and installed safety features we did not even know existed, giving us peace of mind. I would highly recommend Synergy for any and all electrical needs. He was worth every penny and then some! Thanks Matt for making this part of our remodel painless.

I got a few responses for my breaker issue. I ended up going with Energy warriors for the following reasons:
1. they responded to me right away and provided me a quote and telling what the quote was included.
2. I had more questions to ask; they told me they will have their technician call me and provide me with the answers. To my surprise Sam called right away and very patiently answered all of my questions.
When we made the appointment; Sam and his assistance arrived on time. Very pleasantly and patiently worked on our problem They explained alot of stuff to us and fixed the problem to my satisfaction. Mind you they went over and beyond my expectations. The quote that they had provided was exactly what they charged me.
I am so pleased and happy with their work. I keep them as my go to electrician from now on.
thank you Sam and Taz.

Dave came out yesterday to my house to give me a bid on some work I have and his customer service was amazing. Looking forward in working with him in the near future.

Very solid team. I was able to describe the job (ev charger install) with a few pictures & an email. They make a bid & I gave a deposit over the phone. We set up an install time. They confirmed the day before- which was a Sunday. It was a tricky install- wiring through a hole in the concrete floor but they got the job done on schedule & budget. Nothing but goodness. Thanks James.

I bought an 18-year old house recently and figured it was time to re-roof. I talked to several different roofing companies, all of whom were eager to sell me a new roof. Pinnacle Roofing (Rick) was the first to unequivocally state that my roof was no more than 5 years old and was in great shape! I confirmed this with the next two roofing companies I talked to (Hey, Pinnacle Roofing said the roof is in good shape, what do you think? so as not to give them any leeway to be dishonest about it). I really appreciated Rick's honesty and it saved me tens of thousands of dollars.
Rick also give me some good advice about how to re-caulk areas of my deck, which had been leaking into our bathroom below. Really top-notch service. When it comes time to redo our roof, I'll be calling him again.
