Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating Air Electrician
Seatown did a great job updating several outdated aspects of my home built in 1987.  The technician was knowledgeable and things went smoothly, and he was good about working with my schedule as we were moving and having floors redone all during the same tight period of time.  He replaced several breakers, several outlets, moved two outlets and added an outdoor outlet.  I did feel like it was a bit expensive, but I would use Seatown again.

Eco Electric & Plumbing Electrician
I highly recommend this company and would call them first and use them again!  Right before Christmas I had power go out in some areas in my home.  I looked on the BBB website and found Eco Electric.  They were the first and only company I called that was able to provide a free estimate and would only charge if they found an issue.  They were also available to send a technician out the next week.  Other companies were charging at least $150 for the service call and for just showing up to diagnose the problem.  They also didn't have anything available until mid-January. From the beginning of my experience with Eco Electric, I have had a good and memorable one.  Donna, the scheduler, called to make my appointment.  She also called a few days prior to remind me of the appointment and then sent a text a day before and day of!  The day of my appointment, there was an earlier opening and Donna asked if she could send the techs over now.  I was delighted to hear it, but couldn't change the time.  Then she notified me that they would be a little late, but were on the way.  It was fine with me since they were still within the window of time for our appointment.  When Connor and Nate arrived, they were very professional, courteous and polite.  They put covers over their shoes and were patient when we explained the situation.  They provided simple and detailed explanations that we could understand.  Connor also gave us some safety tips regarding space heaters.  They were able to fix our issue quickly and didn't charge!  Their service goes above and beyond my expectations and that is a refreshing change!  Thank you, Eco Electric!

Fixer Electrician
Our Fixer came to help solve a quirky circuit breaker and GFCI problem; after discovering the simplest solution in a matter of minutes, he stayed on to take care of another small electrical socket fix while he was there. Great communication up front, timely notifications of his arrival, and polite and fun in person to work with and explain the situation to - would be delighted to use them again, and I even learned a little about our electrical setup for the next time.

Dean's Home Repair Electrician
My hot tub just stopped working.  Tested the wiring and found one of the leads was only giving me 93 volts (they other was just fine at 120v).  I did some tracing and found voltage was low all the way back to the panel.  I'll install an outlet, but messing with the panel is something I just don't do.  Called Dean because of all his great reviews.  He's very upfront and straightforward -- all business.  Rates are way cheaper than the electricians I called.  He said if he couldn't fix it, I wouldn't pay a dime and he's recommend somebody trustworthy to do it, but he was confident that he could get it done.  He was booked out a week, but called me when something opened up due to a cancellation.  I needed about 20mins to figure out if I could make it to the last minute call.  When I called back in 17minutes, he said another job came in and now he had to juggle, but he was still going to try to make it work.  As I described what troubleshooting  I had done, all of a sudden he said, Ya know, I'm just going tell you this to keep some money in your pocket.  He then described what was the most common cause of my voltage situation and told me how to test and solve it.  He turned what would have been a $160 visit (would have been $200+ for any of the electricians I called), into a $11 trip to Home Depot and 5 mins on Youtube.  Too bad he only does break-fix repairs because if he would do it, I'd use him for a bunch of plumbing and electrical work I need done.  Thanks, Dean.  You're a straight shooter.

Requested a quote on yelp and got a response within minutes of posting. Fast professional service during hours most other companies won't even answer the phone. Thanks Will

Hunt's Services Electrician
Refused to give any idea of price after waiting on phone for 15 minutes to talk to agent and then sending pictures per their request. This was a small job and they refused ballpark pricing. They offered to send a tech for $59 to give me a price. I went elsewhere.

Beacon Plumbing Electrician
I had a horrible experience I had an electrical emergency so I couldn't shop around and ended up without electricity for 34 days and paid $5,000.  Later when I checked around at four places for estimates I was told it's a pretty basic job: 2 days and $1,500 and it didn't even pass inspection the first time.  I really wish I had used someone else.

I appreciate Torch who came by.  (I now understand that the hour cited is the window for arrival, not the window when the job will be done). Nice guy, had the tools, got the job done.

South West Electrician
I hired them for fixing the flush system in my toilet. They couldn't figure out  the problem in the starting and suggested replacing entire toilet as one of the options. After some more inspection, it turned out that the flush handle was worn out and needed replacement. They did a pretty fine job at replacing that. Now my flush is working fine! Regarding price, they seemed to be a bit on the pricier side (I have had lesser quotes for similar work from other providers) even after applying the $50 coupon. They were respectful to my house and very nice people.

Black Hills Electrician
They charged $400 for a new furnace thermostat. That is an outrages price, especially since I found the same thermostat after they installed it for $125 installed $200 with warranty elsewhere. The only reason they provided for such a ridiculous price for the thermostat was it under warrant for 5 years and they installed it. I will never use this company I feel they charges are extremely high and poor quality work. Still don't have a working furnace, something new is wrong, need a different tech for new problem.

DEAR Services: Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Electrician
Originally the plumbers were here for a leakage fix inside the wall, but they cannot do the demolition job. During the inspection they proposed us with the water heater replacement project, and out of good faith and appreciation of them showing up despite the bad air condition in Seattle, I signed. What happened next was the abuse of our trust.

For a $950 water heater, I was charged $2434 for installation. For a less than $60 valve, I was charged $1883 for material cost and installation. For 2 bond Gastite pipe including the bonding, the cost is $1560. For a $58.64 expansion tank on Amazon I was charged $1023.  On Homedepot's website, the average national cost for water heater installation including the removal of the old unit is around $1500, and this company charged me $13279. Even if I pay the labor by hours with a rate of $140 per hour it still doesn't add up. The price difference is very suspicious and when I called customer service, twice, nobody could give me an explanation.  Even if we say the installation cost for a part is five times of the material cost, it's still not even close to half of what I was charged. The parts showed in the breakdown list (with the image) of what's going to be installed is not the same as the ones installed in my house. When I asked for the breakdown list of the parts before the installation, the documents I received only contains very general description of the parts. Yes, no model number, no brand name, just pipe of this size with that material type basic description. After the project is done, there's no receipt nor contract.

In response to the owner of the business:
We feel really hurt with the abuse of our trust. Originally we are gonna send the two plumbers away since they cannot they do anything with the leak besides taking a few pictures, but since there's a pandemic adding hardship to people's lives as well as the air pollution in the past few days, we feel the need to not let them return with nothing done and nothing earned. The water heater was never an emergency that we need resolve ASAP, but to help them, we let them initiate the project. However, we did not expect the great difference in the products installed.

And we really hope a professional inspector is doing the inspection.

We've never given any one/half star to any product/service before, and we used to avoid negative reviews since we suspect malicious intent. However after our experience, we learned the lesson that we should always pay attention to negative reviews and get multiple quotes from various contractors. We checked their review across multiple platforms and we recommend all of you guys here who are considering hiring this company to scroll down and see them yourself.

Diving deeper into the comment section, I feel the need to inform everyone that the owner's comment after some of the reviews is no other than some low effort PR stunt.

After thorough discussion and recollection, we come to the realization that this company has a complete system to trick their customers.

Step 1, they were supposed to be at our house for a leakage fix. After a mere minutes of inspection they told us that they cannot open the wall to fix it, yet they took pictures everywhere pretending to save them for preparation.

Step 2, they say that they need to inspect the main waterline's pressure, and told us that our water pressure was too high and the valve failed so it needs to be replaced. If not there will even more leakages.

Step 3, they lure us into having them check the water condition inside the water heater via a sample, which brings them right to our water heater.

Step 4, they got the sample water from the heater, and explain to us how this water is hazardous and we need to replace our heater ASAP.

After these 4 steps, they gained our trust and also pressured us into agreeing on the water heater replacement project.

Step 5: The plumber showed us some nicely looking parts on their tablet and told us these are the parts going into the new system, and of course we would say yes to that.

Step 6: The picture, brand name, and model name are nowhere to be found on the invoice that we receive. As I mentioned above, only very vague description of that part. When I asked for the more specific breakdown that contains these crucial information, the plumber told me Tomorrow.

Step 7: They used the cheap options for most parts like I listed above, for a $57.22 main water valve I was charged $1883.

Almost all products used are cheap, however the price for labor and material combined is ten times or twenty times or even more than the product cost itself.

Got a quote from another contractor, they offered us $1424 with an even better water heater. Shocker.
