Best Sink Installation in Seattle WA
Great service, excellent communications, ridiculously overpriced. Would not be my first call for next job...
We needed someone to install a new chandelier type light fixture in our dining room. I found Seatown on Yelp and contacted them based on reviews along with several others. They would not give me a quote or hourly price, but rather they scheduled a technician to come take a look for a non-refundable $49 dispatch fee (applied to service if we proceeded). They did not inform me on the phone it was non-refundable until the end of the call, after I had given them my credit card. Since we had already gone through the process of scheduling, I figured what the heck, can't be that much more expensive than competitors.
Their electrician showed up promptly as scheduled and was COVID safe and extremely friendly. However, he immediately pushed to see our panel and started trying to sell me on other services like upgrading the wiring in our ten year old home, which I frankly found somewhat offensive (and the sales effort never stopped until he left).
After taking a quick look, he quoted me $500 to install the fixture, which ultimately took less than hour. Since I was already in for $49 and he was there, I bit the bullet begrudgingly (even though I had subsequently been quoted far less by other electricians.) What really irked me was he wanted $800 for a chandelier fee to literally take the fixture out of the box, thread a couple of wires and screw in the two extenders. I did it myself in less than ten minutes while he removed the old fixture.
In retrospect, if I had taken ten more minutes before agreeing to Seatown's dispatch fee, I could have gotten an equally competent company to install the fixture for several hundred dollars less. So shame on me. But although the work and communications were great, I will be far more diligent in comparing companies and I will not contract with Seatown again.

Christie was very flexible in scheduling the appointment according to our work schedule. Zak came in fixed the issue. Fair pricing, honest people would totally recommend these guys!!

Our Fixer came to help solve a quirky circuit breaker and GFCI problem; after discovering the simplest solution in a matter of minutes, he stayed on to take care of another small electrical socket fix while he was there. Great communication up front, timely notifications of his arrival, and polite and fun in person to work with and explain the situation to - would be delighted to use them again, and I even learned a little about our electrical setup for the next time.

Dean is extremely trust worthy and I highly recommend hiring him. There's a reason why he has high ratings. We had as circuit breaker issue and he was able to pinpoint exactly what we needed to do.

Requested a quote on yelp and got a response within minutes of posting. Fast professional service during hours most other companies won't even answer the phone. Thanks Will

Corey and Josh were awesome!. They came in and heard what needed to be done. They fixed one thing that I was asking about and then they were off getting it done. I thought they were awesome... no dicker sticker deal, friendly, professional, and super easy to work with. I don't carry cash to tip, but will be sending Corey and Josh a lil something as they were fabulous!
Definitely going to keep this company on our plumbing lists.

Troy and Mike were both very informative. Will def give them a call again if anything else comes up! Thank you again Troy and Mike!!!

There have been few times in my life when I have been moved to tears and Bob Howard did just that today.
My husband has been deployed 52 months of the 9 years we have been married. He is currently in Korea. We just received orders that he has to PCS to Ft Hood Tx. I put our home on the market last Thursday and it sold same day! With the buyers wanting to close in three weeks. The inspection was this past Sunday, and the inspector raised some concerns about small amounts of water being in the four year old home's crawl space. My real estate agent suggested calling this company. Mr Howard called me back within an hour and said he could take a look same day! He said that the water collection was completely normal and offered to email me a letter to provide to the buyer.
When I asked him how much I owed he refused to accept payment for the brief house call. I couldn't help but start to cry. He told me he was a retired Marine and came from a military family, and that he was happy he could help.
Our entire life has been turned upside down. I am having to leave my great career, what we thought was our forever home, and uproot our entire lives to move across the country. I was completely moved by Mr. Howard's compassion and genuine kindness, which has left me truly touched. This kind of customer service is what we as Americans grew to know and has become all most non existent in recent years. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and putting my mind at ease. Thank you from the bottom of my heart sir.

I scheduled a Fixer appointment over a week in advance and got consistent reminders to meet my Fixer between 2 and 3pm. I showed up promptly at 2pm after moving around some work meetings. At 2:20pm I got a text from Fixer that they were canceling the job due to unforeseen issues.
I messaged support and they said there were capacity issues and they couldn't come out until 5 days later. I asked what I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again and was told they would add capacity - but I don't understand why they didn't add capacity 10 days ago when I scheduled this one if that was the issue.
Very unsatisfied and would not recommend.

We heard about Craig & Resicon from two neighbors. We hired them to put in a new heat pump/AC and we could not be happier. The 4-person team was very friendly, totally professional and even took extra time to help me find a solution to a walled-off duct. We rarely do big house projects like this because so frequently things go wrong! The Resicon guys made sure everything went right. My husband is particular about workmanship and he is thrilled with this job in every detail. The price was very fair, and Craig made sure we had the right system for our situation. I totally recommend them!

Make sure that you get ALL quotes on writing, and if the cost is high do not hesitate to get a second opinion. We are glad we did! We needed to get a sewer scope as we are in the process of selling our house. We brought in an independent contractor to perform the job, as recommended by our real estate person. He was not able to get the cap off the main access to the sewer line so he recommended we bring in a plumber to saw off the cap. South West Plumbing came out that day and gave us a bid for sawing off the cap plus a sewer scope, and we agreed to do it all at the same time. They verbally quoted us approx. $150 for sewer scope and approx. $250 for sawing off the cap. South West Plumbing presented us with a copy of the video and pointed out a section in the pipe that was offset (which we couldn't really tell if it was offset or not). They recommended repair, which they quoted in writing approx $5,500.00, and said they could get started on it that very day. They seemed quite eager and kept pushing to get started.
As that was a lot of money, we decided to bring back the original contractor for a second opinion. The original contractor performed the sewer scope and reviewed their video with us in detail, finding no issues with the sewer line - no offset pipes, no cracks.
Southwest Plumbing could have cost us money we don't have, as well as the inconvenience of digging up our driveway and the time it would take to have all this complete. Plus we would have had to get in a contractor to also repair the driveway, which would have been another expensive task. Lessons learned! Won't use SW again.

Extremely disappointed given the high rating they have on here. They replaced a blower motor on my furnace and charged over $800. Looking online, the part should only be around $200. I was not able to be at my home when they did the work, but if I had, there is no way I would have paid that. Completely unreasonable. The people were friendly, but that doesn't make up for the extreme overcharging. I will not be using this company again and will make sure everyone I know stays away as well.

Been more than a month and this place never sent the promised thermostat that we had won at their booth. Now I see they are registered for the Seattle Home show. Best to just walk by this place.
