After collecting a fair amount of quotes, I decided to go with Voltz, and I couldn't be happier! All communication was prompt and thorough, scheduling was a breeze, and come installation day, the work was done efficiently and to my standards (and within the originally estimated time!).

There were two additional requests I made while the team was here: removing an old fan/light and securing a garbage disposal switch (that other electricians were unable to secure). Should I need future electrical work, Voltz will have my business again!

I've hired Duke to do numerous jobs at my house. He updated the lighting in my basement and added additional outlets. He installed a new sub panel in my house to replace a fuse box. He installed a new 240VAC circuit and ran the line for a new A/C unit. He installed Nest Protect Fire and CO detectors. He replaced worn out outlets. He re-routed overhead wiring to underground between my house and garage, installed a sub panel, re-wired the ancient garage wiring and installed new lighting. He also installed an electric car charger.

For all these jobs, he always paid close attention to quality, and made helpful suggestions always related to delivering the best possible solution.

I had the Adary team install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage to charge our new EV. When I first reached out, they quickly scheduled an estimate visit via Zoom meeting which was really efficient. I thought their price was fair, and their estimate process was much more thorough than the other two electricians I contacted. One provided a low-ball estimate that clearly didn't understand the scope of work or include permitting. The other said I needed to replace my entire panel and wanted nearly $10k.

They got the permitting process done quickly, and were able to schedule our installation the very next week after the permit was approved. The workers were on-time, very professional and friendly. The quality of installation was excellent.

They accommodated my schedule for the city inspection, and Nadav came out to meet the inspector and walk her through everything.

It was a fantastic experience, and I'll be using Adary for all future electrical projects.

Dan has been our go to man for our structured networking cabinet, in wall audio and stereo controls, recessed lighting, outlet grounding, and a variety of other intricate in wall or ceiling work. He is meticulous, very articulate, and doesn't cut corners. He takes tremendous pride in his work and in customer satisfaction.  I highly recommend and will continue to utilize him on my future projects as he performs them as if he is working on his own house.  Flat out awesome.

We were very grateful to have found James for an electrical panel upgrade for our 1950's home. He was very knowledgeable and his estimate came in at a very fair price. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced my husband and I to work from home and our three teenage children to complete their college and high school classes virtually, we quickly discovered that our home was NOT built to handle the electrical load we were placing upon it! We suffered greatly when several Zoom calls crashed after innocent family members warmed up lunch in the microwave. There went the breaker... again and again! The microwave became a source of heated (ha-ha) debate for the family, with strict rules of when and how it could be used without disrupting someone's online work! Along came James and his assistant Eric who listened to our woes and helped us figure out how to fix this and other electrical problems. Not only did James take care of our current needs, but he helped us think about future needs when we told him we wanted to remodel our kitchen and redo our garage eventually. Thank you, JCM Electric! The power went out to all the outlets in my living room and part of the master bedroom in the early evening. I had requested quotes through Yelp and Brayan was the quickest to respond and had a very reasonable estimate. He arrived on time the next day and was able to find the issue within the hour. Thankfully Brayan was able to fix the issue same day for a good price. If I have any other electrical issues I will definitely be contacting Brother Electric first!

They are awesome. I called for a quote and Tom was very thorough with questions and answers to help determine what needed to be done to fix an outdoor socket. He arrived with all the needed equipment to complete the job and was wearing a mask and mindful of maintaining 6 feet distance. I asked if he could also install an outdoor  light which I had purchased but never installed. He was very accommodating with his time and had excellent pricing. He gave honest recommendations for future work to help upgrade the electrical  in the house. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely work with them again for future projects in my home. Highly recommended.

Where to begin...THIS OUTFIT DEFINES CUSTOMER & QUALITY SERVICE!

I first called Meigs last year when I was told that I needed a dedicated outlet for a microwave.  I had a few quotes done and they were all nice enough, but Hewlett got the job because they would be able to squeeze me in before any of the other guys.  I'm SO glad.  Gary came out at the appointed time and took care of it -- professionally, efficiently, and cleanly.

So when my tenants in San Jose called about an error message on the electric range a few days ago indicating an outlet problem, Meigs was my first call.  It was after hours, but he called back within 5 minutes and told me he wouldn't be able to get anyone there for a couple of days, so he gave me 2 referrals!  I called both and left messages (after-hours, you see), but then Meigs called back.  He found someone for the next day.  Brian was there at the appointed time and my tenants just raved about him.  The problem wasn't the outlet at all, but the wiring in the range.  Brian called me immediately after the site visit, told me EXACTLY what needed to be fixed, and even sent me pictures to show me the burned out wiring.  He even told me to be in touch if there were any problems w/the repair guys.  AND...since Hewlett couldn't fix the problem, it cost me NOTHING.  That's right -- NOTHING.

Long story short, the repair guy (under warranty) was useless and even tried to blame the problem on the installation.  I called Meigs to see if he could fix it, but DUH, they're electricians, not appliance repair.  But he gets online and gives me the name and number for appliance technicians since they'd be the ones driving around w/the right parts to fix the unit.  Then he confirmed EXACTLY what part I needed again to be sure the tech arrived w/what was required for the fix.

Meigs and his team are the REAL DEAL.  You'd be nuts to go w/anyone else.  And yet, I write this stellar review because they deserve it, but also while possibly shooting myself in the foot.  I realize there may come a time when I need help desperately and they'll just be too popular and too busy.  Well...all I can say is that if I can wait, I'll wait for Hewlett, absolutely.

Wesley and his guys did a great job at our house.  This review is long overdue.  Wesley and his team installed lights under our kitchen cabinets, and we couldn't be happier with the results.  They have since come back for other small jobs (changing an outlet in our garage to be on its own dedicated breaker for our plug-in car, as well as other outlets we discovered weren't working).  
He is definitely our go-to electrician!

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Responsive for quoting, competitive bid, and very professional. Cleaned up afterwards.

Anyone who has gone through any kind of home renovation knows how taxing it can become IF you do not have the right contractors lined up for the job. My husband and I just went through a kitchen overhaul and we decided to use Tari Electric for our electrical work. During his walk thru and assessment, Moises was very thorough in explaining his suggestions and plan. Once on the job, he was very professional, knowledgeable and worked neatly. When we called him back for another job (same project), he was readily available and just as good. We'd definitely refer Tari Electric to anyone seeking an electrician.

Worst experience I ever had. They claim there's no charge for them to come out, but when they get there, they will charge you $479 for a consultation and diagnostic fee. It's true, you have a choice to either agree or not to their consultation fee, and in desperation, I agreed since they were already at my home at that point (but never again). That's just the first red flag. At least other companies are upfront about their charges. For example, when you call in, most companies will say it will cost you X dollars for us to come out during emergency hours or you can wait and it will cost you nothing.... Secondly, they say they will email you a full report, which they never did; instead, they sent pictures through text with no detailed report, and proceeded to quote you thousands of dollars. They quoted me a  $7K-$9K range. I had multiple certified & licensed electrian come by and none of which charged a consultation fee, and it cost a fraction of what Dalcon quoted. To share how drastic of the quote difference ... the final costs with another company ended up being $850 (inclusive of rewiring)  compared to what Dalcon quoted me. Whoever reads this review can decide for themselves, but I will never work with this company again. I hope others don't fall into their trap.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

My go to handyman!!  Today he made & installed a cover for my kitchen lighting which makes it look like new!

I do not understand how this guy got such good reviews. Are they really real ? He stayed five hours in my home trying to fix one outlet. In the end he called two other electricians for help. They came and fixed it for ten minutes.

Fitch electric did a fantastic job and really put a personal touch on the install of my new juicebox EV charger and outlet.

Everyone was honest and easy to work with, from Lucas for site evaluation, to Scott with scheduling, and especially Martin with install. (Martin was a rockstar, and went to Home Depot when he didn't have the right part so the project wasn't delayed, big kudos to Martin!)

Not only we're they easy, timely, and affordable, but they were personal. Huge props for a local business!

Requested a quote to look at my bedroom light switch that smell burnt. Not even 10min,I got response back and gave me quote right away and they're be able to come by the house within 15min. Hancock looked at the burned light switch and fix the problem in a timely manner. He was informative and explained what caused the problem.
