Mike and Ante were terrific as they upgraded the aluminum wiring in our bathrooms and laundry rooms. They worked well together and explained everything they had to do. We even got a teacher discount! Thank you guys! Matt and Karen were great too.

You're in great hands with Jason. He knows his stuff. And more importantly takes the time to explain the issue, present all options and gets the job done. He's my go to guy for electrical.

Willow Glen Electric did some work for me about 2 years ago. I took several bids, and initially I was impressed by the professional delivery and conduct of the young man who came to provide an estimate. WG was not the lowest bid, but they have been in business for a long time and the estimator made me feel very confident in their expertise. Once I accepted WG's bid and the young man came back to do the work - everything changed. He came with another young man (both about 19-20 yrs old?) who spent a lot of time goofing off - including a prank where one guy intentionally through a breaker on the other guy when he was on a 16 foot ladder to zap him!!! They never completed all the work they said they would - they told me they decided they didn't want to do it after all. (That's OK: by that point I didn't want them to!) Right now I have another electrician in my house. The new electrician discovered that WG connected a ceiling fan without pulling a ground wire for it - AND they cut off the ground to the fan, so now it needs re-wiring! We noticed a couple additional evident shortcuts on other projects in their bid, and now I'm extremely concerned about the quality of the work they did. The WG employees who came to work on my house said that they were journeymen at WG for a few years before achieving their current status. That means WG had time to instill good practices -- or not. In fairness - I have not contacted WG to come back and correct the work that was previously done. I just don't even want them back in my house. I'll just spend the money elsewhere and have it done correctly. Without zapping.

Our kitchen outlet for the electric range (220v) was not working suddenly one day when we were preparing lunch. This happened when we were all stuck at home because of shelter in place order due to covid19 and we need our electric range badly.
Our friend recommended Roger for the work. We contacted Roger and got his response almost immediately. Roger identified the issue and helped us fixed it very quickly. He certainly live up to his good reputation. Highly recommened!!

I like to think I understand electricity reasonably well. It's like water, there's a source and a sink, and it follows pretty consistent rules. But unlike water, it can really, really hurt.
So when everything I knew about electricity couldn't help me make *any* sense of why I lost half -- but only half -- of the electricity in my house after a light bulb went *bang*, I said to myself, Self, let's not get hurt. Off to Yelp I went, and found these great reviews for Adary Electric.
I called them before business hours and left a voicemail, despite the fact that they included a panic pager number in their voicemail message, because my house wasn't burning down or anything. I just hoped to get into the morning queue.
Nadav called back first thing in the same day, and came out an hour later. Despite the leads I attempted to provide to the subpanel where I thought the problem was, he politely followed his own diagnostic procedure, methodically starting with the mains and working his way in.
Less than an hour later, he had (1) pinpointed the problem that my light bulb's ceiling fixture was itself shorting the circuit, which was (2) not tripping the breaker for that circuit but nonetheless was (3) tripping only *one* of the two breakers that fed the subpanel. He removed the ceiling fixture for us, capped the wires, and reset breakers as necessary. Voila, we were back in service. And he only charged for a nominal amount of labor, despite the fact that he returned half my house's power to life.
During the diagnosis, he also suggested upgrades to the mains to bring it up from 60A to 100A. Two days later, I already have a quote for that upgrade. He was willing to email it, but I botched my side of that, and he was happy to fax it instead.
He even unwrapped fresh booties to placate the no shoes rule in our house.
Darn straight I'm giving him 5 stars.

Dan installed an EV charger for us. He helped us figure out the best place to put it, installed it for a very fair price, got the work done quickly, and was a great communicator throughout the process. He did great work and it came out looking really nice and clean. Highly recommend Dan, and will definitely choose him again for our next project.

The gas gauge on our stove wasn't working correctly. We called Fuse Appliance and they came out the next day. The repairman worked for quite awhile and couldn't fix it because the part needed to do the repair has been discontinued. He put everything back together again and we were charged for the diagnosis only. If you need repair work done on all brands and model appliances, washers and dryers, air conditioning, furnace, commercial and industrial equipment, give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

Gary did an amazing job installing a wall charger for us. To help me figure out the best plan, he visited first to look at the site, the panels we have in place, and explained to me the pros and cons of a few different options. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner, including patching the wall. Really appreciate his patience and communication - not only get the job done but do it in the best way for the customer. Highly recommended!

Everything about with them is great. Answered yelp messages on time, called me to provide a rough estimate, kept in touch via text messages, scheduled a time to appointment. Both of them showed up in time, completed installing the electric vehicle charger in less than 2 hours. They were least expensive in terms of cost and probably the best out if 6 people I talked to for this job. Definitely recommend their services.

Super friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I told them what I wanted and they recommended something even better without change in the estimate which was very affordable. Glad I picked Alley Electric from my many estimates. I will be using them again in the future.

Raphael was awesome - responded right away, came in quickly and diagnosed a small but complex problem and communicated his thinking and approach clearly as he worked on it (started right away). Reasonable fee as well. Would definitely recommend him.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.
On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.
The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Requested service again from Tari for a problem which was pretty tough to figure. A dull/subtle burning smell was coming from washer/dryer socket but I couldn't figure why/how. Even had a trip from fire department and we assumed it was due to EV charger. However, that was not the case and requested Tari to visit again and he discovered a lose wire within washer/dryer socket which was causing this burning smell along with heating up of the wall as well. He was able to quickly fix/rectify the situation and the problem was/is solved. While this was done almost 1 month ago in May, I wanted to wait for 3-4 weeks to ensure the problem was not recurring and truly fixed before posting this update.
Recommended and would call him again for future needs.

This company has ineffective organization from top down. Starting from their crews. The first one (Rey) took the job early 2018. Only I heard was complaining about PGE and conflicting with my contractor.
Without good communication to others, my PGE application got cancelled without being informed. We lost approx. 4 months of time and needed to resubmit another application. Later on the first guy had conflict with his company and left with a mess. The 2nd guy (Chris) took over. Nothing had improved . Only he said was the mess had nothing to do with him, just got assigned to clean up his friend's mess (he could not clean up anyway).
The owner took over the project after a few complaints. We wasted another 4 months with him (from Nov-Feb). Since the underground wiring will take 6 months from PGE and house was almost done, we decided to go over head. The owner wanted to charge us $4,000 vs. no charge with our contractor. I told him my contractor could do free of charge. Since no more business in sight, to reduce his cost, he removed our temp power a week later. We were in the dark without power for construction a week.
It is unfortunate to deal with this crappy company that is full with ineffective and selfish people. Cheap /easy project may be ok, not big project like house remodeling/construction. They are not capable. By the way, the first guy charged me 95$ for just replacing one (1) CO detector while I could get a pack of 3 at Costco at $28.99. A lot of good companies out there, don' count on them.

Several switches around our house went out at the same time, and we weren't sure what the issue was. Thankfully, Andrew and his partner were responsive and had very fair price compared to others on Yelp. AY EMP diagnosed the problem very quickly, went to get necessary parts, and fixed our electrical problem under two hours. They were efficient, and pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend and call them for any future issues.
