Duke was a god-send to us. We moved to Saratoga and had so many new electrical needs. Duke and Benny attended to everything with utmost professionalism and punctuality. There were challenges but Duke attended to all of them in his inimitable happy way - one cannot wipe the smile from his face and thats what I love most. Love a guy who enjoys his work the way Duke and Benny do. Will recommend them hands-down to anyone who needs electrical work done.

The quality of the work performed by Nadav and his team was outstanding. Everyone on his team were polite, professional and helpful.
Adary Electric installed recessed lighting in the ceiling of our kitchen and den. They also upgraded many of our outlets and switches. For several of the light switches, they installed dimmers.
They also handled a few un-planned side jobs while they were on-site. For example, they upgraded the wiring to our front porch light, repaired one of our Tiffany floor lamps and installed a new light fixture in our downstairs bathroom.
I plan to use them again.
Although they may not be the cheapest, they are certainly among the best.

We have used James and JCM Electric many times for our new electrical circuits, panel upgrades, and lighting packages. James and his team are not only responsive but very professional and honest. We continue to use them for all of our electrical needs.

Very responsive and fixed the issue right away. And Brayan explained the issue very well. Would recommend this company.

Bottom line: unprofessional response to errors made on the job smacks of taking his good reviews and customers for granted; especially in this down economy. Also, they may be better for more 'behind-the-scenes' electrical work vs finish work like recessed lighting.
It almost feels strange to write this review in the face of such stellar marks for this company, but I feel that my experience may not be an aberration and that others should know that Alley Electric, while probably overall a good company, should be approached with some vigilance and caution.
Wesley came out and gave us a bid. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and submitted a reasonably priced bid. The main part of our project was recessed lighting for our living room. The written proposal called for six 5 canisters and I subsequently e-mailed Wesley with a URL of a particular trim I wanted. He replied back I'll find you something nice -- this failure on my part to insist on details turned out to be part of the problem. Expecting that he had taken the week or so interim time to pre-order the requisite supplies, he and Alina showed up on the morning of the job with what seemed like lights purchased from the local hardware superstore. And, of course, not with the trim I had requested. This was apparent later in the morning after Wesley belatedly realized that he had purchased 6 (larger) cans instead. By then, he had already made several 3 linear cuts and one 6 hole in my pristine white ceiling. They then went to the nearby Home Depot from which they called and said that 5 cans weren't available and suggested 4 cans instead. I approved the change but requested 2 additional cans to make up for the smaller beam coverage. As an aside, I subsequently found the 5 cans in stock at my nearby Home Depot.
Long story short, the job turned out below expectations. Wesley installed the now eight 4 cans, but two of them were off by three inches and the light coverage was uneven (shadow alleys) due to the smaller beams. Also, I now had several areas of the ceiling that I needed to repair, including a large chunk of the wayward 6 hole. (During the bid process I was assured that the ceiling holes would be just right and wouldn't need any patching.) Otherwise, Alina and Wesley did a fine job on the other parts of the project. Alina was very courteous in making sure everything was clean and tidy all along the way. But even given the significant errors, Wesley never apologized for the mistakes or offered to make me whole, as one might expect from a professional. In fact, when pointed out the erroneous cuts on my ceiling, he sharply reminded me about the no drywall patching part of his contract and sarcastically offered to smear some spackle on these minor defects when pressed further. I was absolutely flabbergasted by this lack of professionalism. I had offered what I thought was an extremely fair settlement of just paying the initial bid amount (i.e. not footing the bill for the extra two 4 cans that were made necessary by their error). The nonchalant and defensive attitude was astounding. I received neither an offer to help compensate me for the extra drywall repair I had to now do, much less a genuine apology. It wasn't until Alina stepped into the dispute that Wesley grudgingly took my payment. I was especially offended that an insinuation was made that I was trying to rip him off. I would much rather have perfectly installed recessed lights as was outlined to me in the proposal, then to argue over a couple hundred bucks of somebody's hard earned money and deal with the subsequent extra repair work in this case.
In summary, I will obviously not use this contractor again. I'm not sure if Wesley just had a bad day or he is taking his good reviews and customers for granted, but his behavior was clearly unacceptable. Despite e-mailing him after the fact, I have not received any response. Alley Electric may still be a worthwhile contractor to consider for your project, given their previous positive track record, but do yourself a favor and make sure to double-check everything so that you don't have the same results we unfortunately did. P.S. I do have pictures of various stages of this work to post if it would be helpful to anybody.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.
On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.
The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

We are very happy with the work that Gustavo and his team did. Gustavo came by and conducted a thorough inspection--very professional. He is very knowledgeable and identified our electrical issues and scheduled a quick turn-around job to get them fixed. His team was on-site at the scheduled time and they completed our project efficiently.
We can rely on them for future projects/renovations, and we recommend them for you as well.

Moises did a great job in adding canned lights in my living room. We had no crawl space so it was a difficult job as he had to cut a few small pieces of sheetrock out to accomplish the install. Did an excellent job of patching them back in and I am very pleased with the installl and will use him again.

I was looking to get my garden lights taken down and was on a time crunch since we were moving. Not only did Chuck respond quickly to the quote request but was able to look at the photos I shared to determine that it'd be a quick job. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule and got all of the light down carefully without breaking any of the bulbs in a little under an hour. He does charge for an hour minimum but the the efficiency and care, so worth it! Unfortunately we are moving out of his service area but if you need a handyman and live within his service area, give him a call!!!

We had a great experience with Fitch Electric. I was looking for electrical support after our recent outages with the atmospheric rains. We had several outlets and appliances blow out with recent outages. I called several paces and got an immediate response from Josh. Luis was dispatched as our electrician after a couple of days and was able to diagnose and fix our problems. Luis recommended a surge protector for our entire house. We agreed to his recommendation and he was in and out within an hour. Luis was very professional and made sure he accommodated my work from home requirements and kept power while he was making repairs. Highly recommend Fitch and Luis as the electrician.

Gilbert and his team did an awesome job at our home. They're efficient, clean, and very professional. They got 2 works done, in just 2hrs. And these jobs were not easy....but the guys made it look like they were. 16ft Foyer was turned down by many, but they took it and did a fantastic job. I don't normally tip for something I'm spending money on already, but the techs deserved it. I will even consider these guys to work on some projects at work. They have earned my trust!

Rob helped upgraded my electrical panel and installed a new subpanel in the garage. He finished the work in one day and took care of coordinating with pg & e, patching the wall and painting with matching paint. Rob also helped us handle a demanding inspector request and was able to convince the inspector with his workarounds.
The communication is great and everything was explained to me clearly. Highly recommend if you need any electrical work done.
