Best Outlet Repair in San Francisco CA
I purposefully filtered past the sponsored links on here, and iPowerSF was the highest rated otherwise of electricians in SF. They did not disappoint - managed to squeeze me in same-day (without additional charge), because my lights had already been out for 2 full days, and quickly were able to get to the root of the problem. All for a very reasonable rate. Would definitely use them again.

Fearghal was recommended by our realtor to do some supplemental electrical work at our home.
We were pleased with his work--He was reliable and easy to work with. He and his crew estimated that the job would take two days, and they finished in two.
I would definitely recommend Fearghal for electrical set up and repairs.

Jothi at Redwood Electric has helped us out twice recently with electrical issues, and we found him to be prompt, professional and knowledgable. In one case, he was able to quickly solve an issue with our fuse box, whereas several other electricians led us to believe we needed to go through a costly upgrade. He also just did a safety inspection of the overall electrical in our house, and took care of a minor issue with a plug, all for a reasonable cost. Many thanks, Jothi!

While swapping out a faulty water heater we realized the new one had different wiring and was not working. After calling the manufacturer to no avail and scratching our heads we found John at Brookline online and he came out the same day. Literally within 10 minutes after looking at our wiring he said he could fix our problem. He gave me a quote, we negotiated the details and he set off to work. To his word when he left the water heater was working. If that was the end of the story I'd be happy.
Months later the water heater began blowing fuses weekly. I called John to come out, instead he took a few details over the phone, made some calculations and discovered I was buying the wrong size fuse! He suggested the correct fuse and we were back in business..... it goes on...
A few months later I was having similar issues with the same water heater, frustrated I called John to come out and AGAIN he walked me thru a solution over the phone. Then he followed up to see if it worked!
I say all this to say there is no replacement for experience and customer service. My Dad always told me, better to pay once for the right job than twice (or more) for a bad one. I don't mind paying for honest, knowledgable work and that has been my experience with Brookline. Electrical work carries a high responsibility and while I understand high work volume keeps you in business, I don't want to trust my family's safety on a cookie-cutter company with no customer service. I appreciate Brookline and I believe you will too.

I know - another 5-star review for Valencia Electric - is this for real? Yes, it's for real! Natalie is as good as it gets!
I hired Natalie for what initially started as a small project but morphed into a large one. Natalie did the following:
- swapped out can lights in my dining room, entryway and hallway
- replaced the dining room light w a fixture
- replaced my entryway light w a pendant
- replaced my hallway light w a recessed light
- installed bar pendants
- installed recessed lighting in my kitchen (and removed the existing track lighting).
Less glamorous, but greatly appreciated, she also updated:
- all my outlets and light switches w new plates/covers
- installed a timer on my outside light
- installed a programmable wall thermostat for my baseboard heater which was originally controlled by an on-unit dial with no temperature settings.
Service:
Natalie was extremely patient and obliging when I kept adding things to the list of items I wanted updated. She never once hesitated to come out to give me updated estimates, all at my convenience on the weekends.
She was punctual and extremely polite. She is quick to respond to emails and address any questions you may have. Since I have extremely limited experience doing electrical upgrades and repairs, her responsiveness and transparency made my experience really awesome.
One of the most amazing things about hiring Natalie is that she clearly takes pride in her work and her service.
**My place was spotless everyday when I came home!!!**
I expected my place to be dusty and messy for a week. I even told my housekeeper that she should plan on spending extra time on my place at the end of the week bc I was having work done.
Work:
The work Natalie did was done with care, and she did a really quality job. She conferred w me more than once to double check the length I wanted my pendants, the placement of the recessed lighting, and the job took just a little while longer bc she didn't like the recessed lights she originally thought would work. For whatever reason, they buzzed and so she tried several different ones so I wouldn't have the buzzing.
She managed to put fewer holes in my ceiling and walls than she initially planned bc she found alternate access options. She clearly thought about what she was doing so as to make it a better experience for me, rather than just plowing forward with the simplest option.
Overall:
I can't recommend Valencia Electric enough!

I contacted Byron as well as a few other electricians to get a quote for my radiant floor heating system which recently stopped working. Byron was one of the fastest to respond and provided a very reasonable estimate. He was always very responsive - I called him and asked him several questions over text before our appointment and he was quick to respond to every one.
He arrived on time to our appointment and was very professional. He quickly examined my thermostat and let me know what the issue was as soon as he found it. He replaced it and he even stayed for a little while after to confirm that it was working properly. I am very happy with his service and will be looking contact him for any issues I have in the future.

I was trying to get someone recommended by the general contractor I usually use but after two attempts I gave up. I had tried to install my ceiling fan that had two switches but following the directions wasn't working. T & H was the first to respond and charged me half of the flat rate another business recommended. I also decided to have an exterior outlet installed in the front of my house. I had an itemized quote same day and the work done as well. I highly recommend this service.

We needed an electrician to help with a remodel and looked around and a friend had suggested Fuata Electric, so I called and they were able to come out that same day! It was nice to not have to wait and to be able to get a start on quotes and finding the right person for the job since that is such a hassle with contractors. The guy that came out was friendly, personable, honest (or else a hell of an actor), and was the first and cheapest quote we got. He finished the job ahead of schedule and was able to come out again when we needed to change a spec with no questions or hassle. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for a electrician in this area.

impressive -- rick is working on a huge project so was upfront that he couldn't help this week BUT gave me some free advice and recommended calling Cole Hardware's referral service which can better deal with tiny jobs. super nice & helpful guy!!

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.
I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.
For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.
I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

Santiago arrived promptly and assess the bathroom exhaust/light combo. His service was professional, friendly. And efficient to my satisfaction. Thanks to the Fitch Electric team from scheduling and assigning this home repair.

Their team was very responsive in giving an estimate, scheduling the work, and following up with any questions. Arrived on time, did great work, and was a reasonable value for cost. Highly recommend.

Tim and Joseph were great! They diagnosed the problems within 5 minutes and found a couple other problems (corroded switches) that were on their way to failing. Fast, efficient and friendly, I would definitely recommend them.

The finished job was done in a extremely professional manner and everything is great. We had a few code challenges but the crew responded quickly and professionally and addressed all of the cities concerns. They are my go to electricians for future work. I only gave 4 stars because of the extra work we had to go through to meet code. My recommendation to anyone who has pulled a permit and hires any tradesman is to have the city inspector on site with the contractor to make sure everyone is on the same page before the work is completed. This will save everyone a lot of time - and money. The Reyff crew is really great and extremely helpful.

Absolutely outstanding. I had another electrician who could not figure out what was going on with my lights. I had a feeling it was a dangerous situation as nob and tube were involved and the house was sloppily flipped when I purchased it. Micah took the time and found out the issue on his first visit. He doesn't do a free estimate, but the money is totally worth it. He goes the extra mile and when he found the problem, he fixed it with his awesome team really quickly. Friendly, considerate, professional, reasonable and fast. They rewired half my house and prevented a major fire!. I'm so grateful to them. Can't recommend them enough, especially considering all the lousy contractors that are out there right now.

Omri came in clutch helping us reset our fuse at a time when there was a long wait for other electricians. Because it was a easy fix he refused to charge us. Appreciate the speed of service and his pointers to help us prevent the issue. We'll definitely use CA Electrical Group in the future.

I had to arrange for a new outlet installation at our San Francisco property, from the East Coast. BV Electric was responsive, worked with me to find a convenient time for the tenant, and was there on time and on task to complete the job. Will be using them again for future electrical work.

Mike was great! Came right over and replaced some old outside fixtures and a switch so now I can open my back door at night without fear of raccoons! Down to earth, to the point, funny--no frills or needless extras.
