Bedr was competent, reliable and reasonable. He gave me an estimate for my faucet replacement plus light  switch repair just before the holiday weekend and scheduled and completed the job within the week. There are not that many handymen who can do both types of repairs but he handled both ably. I was also impressed that he coordinated with me beforehand and had all the replacement parts he needed. It truly was hassle-free and was greatly appreciated in the middle of a busy work week! He also gave me useful advice about how to handle a couple of other pesky old house problems.

Ben was great to work with. We had him come out to help replace a garbage disposal unit. He was the fastest to give me an available slot within the next 24h out of 5 other handymen on Yelp and was easy and smooth to communicate with via text. He was knowledgeable at the job and very efficient at getting the work done, as well as fastidious e.g. during tidyup. I would recommend Ben!

Once again, Handyman Heroes to the rescue!  We had some heavy metal shelves we wanted mounted to a bedroom wall. They look great installed in the showroom but we were scratching our heads on how to install, how to make sure we lined them up and ensuring they were safely and securely anchored to the wall. Mike came to install. He was courteous, efficient and had a can do attitude. He made it look easy and gave us confidence that they would be securely installed. We had some various household tasks we needed help with, including some woodworking. Mike was able to schedule us in last minute and he even arrived early. He quickly took care of our tasks and then generously stayed longer to help with other tasks. Mike was fast, cooperative, and very friendly. He was such a huge help and we will certainly be hiring him again!

Totally Unprofessional. Don't waste your time!!! We contacted them for an estimate on a home rewiring for a house we are buying. They scheduled a time and even sent a text reminder/confirmation with a 2 hour window. After driving 90 min there and waiting over an hour into the time window they called to say that they do not service the area. WTF??? They knew the address when they scheduled and confirmed but had no problem wasting our time. Since I was angry they said they would have a manager call me, not to clear things up but to explain why they don't service that area, as if that matters.

Sook is great! He was communicative, reliable and got everything in my house fixed that I needed. I'll be referring him out to my real estate clients. It's always nice  to have a great handyman.

The folks at Divine Electric were OUTSTANDING in all regards. Sam arrived promptly and provided a detailed, on-the-spot written estimate for our Tesla charger install. He listened to my requests and provided all the answers to my satisfaction. I signed electronically after a day and the work was scheduled for a week or so later. On the day of the install, Paul and James arrived promptly and walked me through the project. They were very thorough, taking the time to explain the process and making sure we were in agreement every step of the way. They showed me how to use the unit and answered all my questions. First rate all the way.
On a related note...Sam's initial visit for the free estimate left me with zero concerns about going with Divine Electric. And this was the fifth quote I received. Most of the others were just OK...but others still were very high (and included more expensive options that weren't needed).  Sam took his time, explained everything clearly, and provided one of the best prices.  Will definitely use Divine Electric for future projects.

Absolutely fantastic work done on my clogged faucets, and, given how quick the job was, a superbly inexpensive rate was negotiated. Extremely fair, and honest. HIGHLY recommended. Yevgeny also took the time to answer some of my other, general contracting questions. Great advice and very thorough.

I hired David Gallegos through yelp for miscellaneous projects at my home.  David was very responsive on yelp and later text message.  We set a date and he showed up on time.  The work he completed was professional.  

However, he stated he did not have time to finish the final two projects and he would return at a later date.  I know it is hard to run a small business so I paid David in full anyway, trusting his character that he would return.  David cashed the check shortly after.  Later via text message David mentioned he would be a few weeks out because he is working on another large remodel.  

Later on, David stopped responding to text messages once that time had elapsed.  Most troubling, he is active on Yelp and responded promptly to a friend who also required handyman services - he is actively ignoring my attempts to contact.  

All told, I paid David in full for projects he did not complete, and he is actively and knowingly shutting out contact.  It's really unfortunate how any contractor would take advantage of a new homeowner like this.  Please be wary.

David - I'm willing to amend this review if you get back to me and finish the project as agreed.

It's so hard to find someone to help you fix problems when you have zero idea what the actual problem is. We have a heating system that was installed by the previous owner and it's been a bit of an ordeal. Radiant heat seems to be a bit of a specialty issue. Ongaro, and Roberto in particular, has been a reliable partner and now we have a functioning system. Roberto's communication is incredible. He has arrived early, stayed late, dealt with the manufacturer on our behalf. We always feel like he cares and will do whatever it takes to find a solution. We never feel like it's just a job. Because of him, we are a client for life. Also love that Ongaro is a local, family-run business.
