Best LED Strip Light Installation in San Francisco CA
I manage two rental houses with several apartments and have an old house myself - always needing an electrician for something. The one-man operation of Fearghal McEleney aka Eleney Electric is superb: on time, knows his stuff, reasonable priced, an intelligent and friendly guy who goes the extra mile to make customers happy.
I have used his expertise for a few years now and just sent him over to see new tenants to fix a faulty switch. I came by later to check with the tenant and she could not stop telling me how great he was - not only did he fix the switch, he figured out what was wrong with the downstairs track lighting (and fixed it), and then showed the new tenant how to use the front door lock system. Thank you Fearghal for making my life easier and my tenants happy with me! Oh, and thank you for fixing the things too.

On Monday of this week I requested a house call from John, the owner, to help me with a couple of problems. I had lost power in my kitchen due to accidently overloading a circuit. John showed me how to manipulate the circuit switch to restore power, which worked and was much simpler than I'd imagined. He then replaced my two smoke alarms with two new ones and installed them for me, a job that would be difficult for me, as a mobility challenged senior, to accomplish. He completed the work efficiently and quickly, making it look easy, which I guess it is when you know what you are doing. At any rate, I will know who to call if I have another electrical problem. Good work, John!

I hired Brains Automation to install over 20 patio path lights, 3 spotlights and several outlets. They also installed some backlit address numbers. Overall, working with Edgar and his team was a pleasure. They worked hard and were always prompt, communicative and very flexible especially as our needs changed. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future!

Arrived on time, very polite and helpful. Also patient to answer my dummy questions. Got the job done efficiently. Will definitely hire again

Jaime and his staff were prompt in responding to our request for electrical box issues over the weekend, came out promptly to give a free estimate on the following Monday, diagnosed the problem quickly, and were able to replace our electrical box sub unit that was overheating and had become a fire hazard! They were so great a communicating the problem, answering questions, and giving pricing explanations. I would not hesitate to hire them for my electrical needs in the future!

Rigo came out and was clear in communicating the process for installing light fixtures in our church building. And he was up front about what projects would cost more than others so I could prioritize them based on our budget. He wasn't trying to sell us anything. That's important for a church like ours. I will call them again for future projects.

Mr. Carranza returned a few days later and was again, excellent. Professional, efficient, reasonable charge, and quick to respond.
I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Where do I start? Edward's quick response? Professionalism? Great price?
Saturday 3:00 am, the master bedroom circuit breaker pops and doesn't reset. The next morning we find out that the exterior outlet is also on the same breaker...and the pool pump is in that outlet, fried.
Sunday morning I get in touch with Edward who came the next day. The job turned out to be more than anticipated so he came back Wednesday fully equipped. He changed out the breakers and installed 2 exterior weatherproof outlets, crawled under the house to put them EACH on dedicated breakers.
The pump is now up and running and hopefully be ready for the Memorial Day weekend.

I bought a new Chevy Bolt and Chevy paid to have an EV charger level 2 installed at my house. Qmerit, the company that Chevy contracts with to do the jobs, hired Boyes Electric. They did a great job, got the permit ahead of time, did the installation, and came back on inspection day and waited till the inspector showed up. The charger is working perfectly, the job is very neat, and the installers professional and nice guys too. Highly recommend.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.
We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.
Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.
I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Our porch light at our doorstep stopped working. We live in the foggy outer sunset in San Francisco, so a working light is very necessary. Especially for later evening grocery and Amazon deliveries. We found Micheal Fairholm here on yelp. He was very warm and friendly. He fixed our porch light and made it so that the light switch only control the porch light and not our ceiling fan. He and is apprentice was very professional and wore covered booties while in part of the house. Super awesome service. I am hoping he will be available for other small electrical needs. Super awesome!

In my previous reviews, I went over great work Ross did on quite a few cans, fans and some smaller work here and there. Moving down the road to a new construction house, discovered how homebuilders have not changed over the years when it comes to putting lights in certain rooms :-)
As usual responsive and set up meeting at place before moving in and discussed ideas for each room. They were very patient as wife changed her mind 1 thousand times.
Put unpictured ceiling-fan lights and each room and cleaned up my mess of buying all fans with no controls by getting controls and hooking them up on the fly.
Small Chandelier and Smart Cans at top of 20'h ceilings; great job on my office lights.
There were some challenges with house design, sprinkler placement, etc. and he just knows what he is doing. Would have wired heater for garage wall if builder had prepped correctly and always use for new outlets, breakers, etc. You can also trust Ross with your home & family which is a big one for me. Thanks again!

Our 1st meeting was fantastic. Electrician, Daniel Watts did a walk through, brought ideas and estimated quotes for our guest shed project. He was very friendly and left a positive impression. Our 2nd meeting was also good....he started project but could not finish as he stated he was unaware sheetrock had to be installed. So, he had to wait until our sheetrock contractor could start/finish before he could finish. I kept him posted on progress of sheetrock contractor, but then he wanted to charge me an inconvenience fee, all of a sudden, to finish his part as he had other projects on the calendar. After review of terms of contract, there was never a mention of this type of fee and I also found emails and Yelp messages that he was made aware of sheetrock needing to be done, so we straightened everything out. But during our final visit, there was definitely a change of attitude, and my positive impression from our initial visit turned into an okay impression as his positive energy somehow disappeared. Lesson learned: Constant communication is always key when dealing with any contractors.

If you're putting an EV charger into your house or business, Noah is your man! He is communicative, prompt and does great work at a reasonable price. I really enjoy craftsmen who take some time to explain what they're doing and why and Noah really talked me through my project, gave recommendations and listened to my questions. I could not recommend him more highly. Great job!

Wesley is great at what he does super polite and excellent at the quoting doing the work. We had a little issue on the day and Wesley recovered and lived up to the expectations that he presented.

Nice guys and very knowledgable. Our job ended up being more complicated than they expected because an old house always holds surprises. But they stuck with their estimate and we felt they gave us a great price for the project.

Victor did an excellent job with some recent electrical work we needed. This project was to add a washer & dryer to a 3rd floor unit in a 100+ year old building in SF. We initially thought we needed a panel upgrade for the new circuit. During his initial visit to provide an estimate he was by far the most knowledgeable of the electricians, and he walked us through the pros and cons of what our options were. Most electricians weren't interested in the job or gave outrageous quotes. We ended up finding a solution that was workable and didn't require an extensive amount of work, the whole project only took one day (with a lot of work on tall ladders). Communication was great via text or call when needed.
I'd definitely use Victor again for any future electrical work.
