Noah came out and gave a very fair estimate and explained my options well.  Also, had him look at some one off annoying little electrical quirks in the house. Once I decided to go with him, he was very reliable and finished the work promptly.  Very satisfied with his work and follow up.  I prefer supporting local businesses and this company is definitely worth talking to about your electric needs.

My neighbor recommended Four Square since they got their NEMA hooked up for their Tesla. My home was already EV ready so the work should be easy to add the outlet and circuit breaker. Prior I called many electricians on craigslist and yelp in which I got so many various quotes. My wife contacted Noah and he requested for a picture of the breaker box. Immediately he emailed a quote and the price was the best with less work. The only hiccup was finding a certain circuit breaker but I was able to find it myself.

Noah did a great job installing our Tesla Wall Connector. He installed a new 60 amp breaker in our existing panel so we can take full advantage of the TWC charging speeds. He was on time, did a professional installation, and cleaned up well when he was done. After a lot of frustration with many different electricians I finally found Four Square Electric and I can't say enough good things about Noah and the excellent work he has done on all the jobs I've thrown at him.

First he fixed our existing electrical box which was giving us issues all around the house (bulbs flickering, appliances losing power, etc) he was the only one that correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it after many electricians just gave us band-aid fixes and problems would reappear quickly. He also did a fantastic job installing a Tesla Charger which was a fairly big job since it involved installing new wiring and conduits from the electrical box on our deck all the way to our detached garage.

Recently he installed brand new circuits for a sum pump and dehumidifier we had installed on our crawl space. Again completing the job very quickly and professionally and leaving everything looking and working great.

Yes I would use Four Square again for any electrical work or installation. Noah was very efficient and knowledgeable doing installation of my wall connector and also installation of my nema14/50 . Noah was always thinking on his feet and able to decide on the best possible way to connect my wall connector inside my garage. Noah was great.

Noah from Four Square Electrical was a sub contractor under my general contractor Lawton Smith of Pacifica. At our first meeting, he was on time and ready to listen to my concerns with the electrical upgrade to my rental flat in the City.  He made a lot of nice suggestions on light placement and upgrades. He suggested to put heavy duty fan boxes in the living room and dining room and said that even if I decided not to put fans in there now,   at least now there are capabilities of it in the future. I'm glad he suggested it because I have fans in there now and that sure makes a difference. Every time I had a concern, he listened and made changes if we needed to. He was always on time, very tidy and neat with his work. I'm glad Noah was my electrician on this remodel and will highly recommend him to any of my relatives, friends, and neighbors. Noah was one of the only ones to respond to me for a quote. I must have gone through 3 or 4 businesses. Of the quotes, Four was competitive. What sold me was Noah's availability to answer questions, easy to get along with and already good Yelp rating.

I got a Tesla charger installed with permits. Noah set good expectations in terms of timing for everything. Very accurate. He was reasonable in what he thought would work, gave good advice and really stood by his work. He took care of the permits and the inspection. No change was required from the inspector.

Even though this installation was straight forward, I would not hesitate to call Four for electrical work. I will certainly call them first in the future.

Noah was very efficient.  He was able to tackle my job in around six hours which included a few new outlets inside and out and wiring for a major appliance in the kitchen.  He worked clean and safe respecting the social distancing orders. He was very knowledgable about the electrical in our Linda Mar home.  His pricing was fair and overall it was a great experience.  I would highly recommend him.

We just bought our second Chevy Volt, and had been charging them by plugging them into a standard 120v plug.  Out of the blue, our circuit breakers started flipping. Our 1974 house never anticipated this kind of load, so we knew we needed to install two 240v outlets.  Happily, we already had a 240v charging unit. Noah responded right away to our needs.  He not only installed the two 240v outlets and mounted the charger, but he was also very thorough in explaining the issues - our circuit breaker box, previous wiring and many other things we need to attend to.  We will definitely call him for future jobs to bring our home into 2021!

This guy is tops! First, quickly returned my email. Explained the scope of the work after I sent him the pictures; and returned with a hard quote with insurance binder page. As you know, many subs are either too busy to return calls or don't want to do the work. I really appreciated all the info & professional work Noah did. Cleanly installed my NEMA outlet for my Tesla without any fuss; even gave me charging tips. Definitely will use him again.

Main circuit breaker failed on a Saturday night... emailed Four Square Sunday morning from their site and within minutes I receive a response from Noah and by 9 am on a Sunday morning he is at my house with a replacement breaker! He was professional, knowledgeable and had my electricity back on in no time. Total charge was even less than the initial quote.

I just purchased a Tesla and needed to install a wall charger in my garage. I checked on Tesla's web site for recommended electricians in my area, selected the top 3 based on reviews, and asked for a quote. Noah at Four Square Electric Company responded within the hour and offered to stop by to look at the setup to build a quote (1 of the other responded with a hefty price not knowing how my garage and electric panel looked like). Noah showed up on time and sent me a quote immediately. Once I received my wall charger, we schedule the install. Again, Noah showed up on time, and after less than 90 minutes, install was complete and very clean. Got the Tesla delivered yesterday, and everything worked as advertised. I highly recommend Noah and Four Square Electric Company!

Noah was excellent.  He gave us a reasonable estimate that didn't include unnecessary work.  He responded quickly to all my questions.  He arrived on time; did the work efficiency; cleaned up completely; and the work came in at the estimated cost.  We needed to put in a system for charging our Tesla 3, and there are options (mobile vs Tesla charger) and he assured us (as confirmed by others) that we didn't need the wall mounted Tesla charger at a much higher cost.  Thank you Noah!  Highly recommended

Noah is knowledgeable and efficient for electrical work.  He provided a detailed written estimate promptly after visiting our house.  He installed a 50 amp service panel and NEMA outlet for Tesla charging.  The work was straightforward once he figured it out.  He fixed a problem with the bus bar on the existing main panel.

We will definitely hire Noah for other electrical tasks in the future.

By comparison, another electrical contractor came by to estimate the job, wouldn't even provide a written estimate and wanted to be paid $70 for showing up for 5 minutes!

Quality work, fast installation, reasonable price and Noah seemed eminently knowledgeable about what work needed to be performed to get the job done.

A couple of sticking points that I think can be explained by the super high level of demand for Tesla charging outlets in this area.
- A bit slow slow to setup the preliminary site inspection. It took many phone calls to get a date/time set.
- The last little bit of patching work took several extra months. He did eventually contact me to set a time to finish up, so kudos on eventually remembering. However, I was kinda hoping he had permanently forgotten... then I could have kept the remaining $150 balance :P

Noah is a total pro -- fair estimate, very responsive with his communication, and works quickly and efficiently.  He's a one-man-band, so if he's not right back to you on something, it's because he's with a customer, otherwise he will respond as soon as he's free.  Top quality craftsmanship and work; I'd highly recommend him and will use Noah again for future electrical projects -- he helped me install my Tesla wall charger, and did it in 30-mins.

Noah is the go to guy for NEMA/EV home charging installations, as is referenced on Tesla's online support page tesla.com/support/find-e… (under the Find an Electrician -- and not many electricians are listed to begin with, so I think that says something).  But I got to know him through my neighbor (and he was responsible for installations for multiple folks in my neighborhood).  Aside being a professional, he's a good guy who went beyond the install after finding problems with the circuit panel -- fixing an issue (a potential fire hazard) on the spot, and not charging extra for that service. The install itself went without a hitch, and passed the city inspection (required for those of us tied to a HOA in SF) within minutes.  That said, he is very deserving of high praise and the five star rating on Yelp.

Noah installed my Tesla charger and did a great  job! He's responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. He provided 3 options to choose from and offered pros/cons for each. I've used Noah for my old nob and tube house  built in the 20's for the last 10 years or so.  He was great when I needed him to work around my single working mom's schedule.  I never felt talked down to or taken advantage of which is important (and rare to find!) as a lady.    Normally Noah just bills a flat hourly rate plus materials.  He's fine using your materials or passes his costs unmarked up over to you.  Very easy going and easy to work with.   He's happy to try and squeeze you in before or after hours to get the job done.

We had a 50-amp circuit and NEMA 14-50 outlet installed (along with service panel retrofit). Noah coordinated with the city and PGE making the project painless.
