Alex came to help us install some new lights, and replace some of the old electrical sockets.  He was really excellent and we highly recommend iPowerSF.

I called Eleney Electric over the weekend with a small project at my home. Fearghal answered the call and came over personally to take care of my issue, and even scheduled a follow-up after the weekend with one of his crew. After another electrician I had called didn't show because he had written my phone number down wrong to confirm (even though he had my correct address), I found John in the GGB directory online. He came within the hour to install a new electric stove ventilator hood. The price he quoted was competitive, he stayed at least 30 minutes past his hour-long commitment (it was already nighttime) when the hood gave him some problems, and was very professional and courteous. I will definitely be using Brookline Aries for all my electrical repair needs.

I needed a soundbar installed on my TV which is mounted on the wall over the Fireplace. I emailed Natalie and she gave me a quote for the service. She was very punctual, professional and fair. She actually charged me less than she quoted as she did not to have to uninstall the TV. I was very pleased with the service.

Dave came and gave me an estimate, then his electricians rewired the whole house, adding outlets where needed to be up to code.  Sebastian and the other men were professional, friendly and efficient.  they even added in other things I realized I needed.  The total was less than the estimate.  Highly recommended!!

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.

I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.

For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.

I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

I recently moved to Orinda and I used Fitch Electric for some minor electrical work (outlets, switches, sconces) in December 2021. It was about a 3 hour job.

Martin was the electrician and he did a great job. He showed up early, wore a mask, answered all of my questions, and completed the work efficiently. He also figured out a switch that had stumped another licensed electrician.

The prices were reasonable (and transparent) relative to other vendors in the area. It was also really easy to schedule an appointment by calling the number listed. I honestly thought this whole process would be a pain but it was super seamless.

I highly recommend Fitch and plan to use then for any future needs.

Jaime and his staff were prompt in responding to our request for electrical box issues over the weekend, came out promptly to give a free estimate on the following Monday, diagnosed the problem quickly, and were able to replace our electrical box sub unit that was overheating and had become a fire hazard!  They were so great a communicating the problem, answering questions, and giving pricing explanations. I would not hesitate to hire them for my electrical needs in the future!

5/30/12:  Finally rememberd to update this review.  Service Champions staff called me and apologized for the issues I had, then she offered a FULL REFUND of the diagnostics fee.  I thought this was very professional and appreciated it.  However, I am still wary of their business practices.

We had Tim and his team come out on two occasions to work on lighting and wiring problems in our garage earlier this year. We got better lighting installed for the garage and a lot of the wiring was updated. They were super easy to work with and did an excellent job addressing our needs.

I've only owned my home for two years and don't know much about anything. I was having an issue with half of my electricity going out. I called Reyff and they were able to get me an appointment quickly. They even showed up five minutes before their scheduled appointment. Always nice when people are early rather than late especially when I had to take time off work. They fixed the issue in 15 minutes and then offered to fix anything else since I was paying for the hour. I love that they asked me that because I had some switches that were wired wrong and they fixed them. Those tiny changes to my wiring have made life in my house so much nicer. They could have easily have just done the job I called them out for and left. Even with everything they did, they were done within 35 minutes.

I recently hired MJS for a rewrite of my 1920's Crocker Highlands craftsman.  I so impressed and pleased with the entire process -- from providing an estimate, discussing options based on my budget, thru to the install.  Micah and the team were always prompt and courteous.  They looped me In for decision making in advance, and their work was meticulous.  Along the way, I learned a few things, as Micah was always willing to talk me thru any part of the install. CA Electrical Service did an exceptional job for us. We had an emergency electrical issue, and they came within an hour to assess the damage, and then provided a back up generator, a bid and then with in 24 hours had all the permits and permissions to install a new panel. The job was done expertly and efficiently. We worke with Omri who was professional, reassuring and then came through with the goods!

Excellent service. Rewired our whole house - removed knob and tube, removed federal pacific boxes and upgraded to 200 amp service. Worked with our budget and timelines on short notice when another electrician didn't come through for us. Very good communication and follow through. Highly recommended!
