One of the best trade experiences I've ever had.  Alex (The younger of the two Alex's) called me back immediately for my first inquiry and explained based on photos I sent while talking to him, what would be involved in the process of a panel upgrade.  He was extremely articulate about the process while being technical (good thing) but also relatable to a layperson.  He, Alex (senior) and another colleague, Vlad, arrived with a nice heads up text to set about doing the work for the day.  

They were extremely efficient, thoughtful, friendly and communicative throughout the process and did a beautiful job installing the new panel and doing away with a disused breaker box that had been abandoned by a previous electrician at the time of past upgrade.  

Super honest family business with a great ethical and professional code.  I recommend them very highly.  Looking forward to working with them again soon on a renovation.

Highly recommend this business! Vaheh and his partner showed up EARLY for our appointment (!) and fixed my problem in literally MINUTES. Because he didn't have to actually do anything (was just a loose connection), he didn't charge me one cent, not even a service fee. Amazing. I hired West LA Electric to install some ceiling fans in a my new place. Scott (owner) was very responsive and came out the day I called to give me a very reasonable quote. On the installation day, GABRIEL was on time and very professional. This is an older home so you never know what's going to happen when they get in to do the work. He install the ceiling fans and he also installed a dedicated outdoor power source and fixed a faulty dimmer switch in my kitchen!! Gabriel very quickly identified and kept me informed of issues pertaining to older wiring and poorly made connections, plus grounded the connections that should have been but weren't. These guys are CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICIANS and it shows! I can't say enough good things about West LA Electric and would definitely recommend and hire them again for any electrical needs. Couldn't be happier! I needed a couple of small electrical repairs so I called around for estimates. East West Electric gave me a very reasonable quote after I sent over some photos of what I needed done. Martin & his technician were quick, skilled, communicative & tidy. They completed the work & were even able to install an outdoor light that was missing its wall bracket! Martin also took the time to answer all my questions. I felt at ease & comfortable. Great experience with J Powers Electric.  Quickly tracked down loose wiring problem in the wall and repaired it.  Also replaced faulty fuse in main panel.  Very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough.  Would use again and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Leland and his team at B&K electric. They ran electrical to our fountain in the front yard. They were prompt, clean and affordable. Will definitely use them again!

Really fortunate to find him on Yelp.  I needed a Electrician to diagnose and eventually replace.two old 50 amp breakers for one of my tenants.

He arrived earlier than he estimated and once he completed  troubleshooting the issue he returned with the parts the same day and completed the repairs.

Needless to say my tenant was happy and his charge was more than
fair.  I plan to use him a independent Electrician for my buildings future repairs.  Paid about half what I expected the bill to be!

Hector from Got Light Electric in Torrance responded promptly to my call to install 2 new ceiling boxes from which I intend to hang pendant lamps at a later date.  He arrived on time, clean and with the tools and supplies necessary to do the work.  He progressed quickly and efficiently with no unnecessary holes or mess.  (The painters were also on site wanting to mask that room for a new coat of color so having the work proceed smoothly was important.)

As far as demeanor and decorum, there was no music or unnecessary noise or goofing around.  I would feel comfortable having Hector work in my mother's home if that is an indication of comfort.

THE PROECT:  With no attic space overhead all work was done from a ladder.  The Romex was in the ceiling somewhere but the drywall covered up the loose tail -- no box had been installed when the house was built.  So the job grew to installing 3 boxes on fan hangars.  And since LED is taking over as the price comes down he changed a Lutron rocker-style switch to a slide dimmer that is rated for incandescents, fluorescents and LEDs.  He also changed another dimmer so I would be able to make the switch to LEDs seamlessly.

IN CONCLUSION:  The price I felt was fair and reasonable.  I expect to call Got Light Electric when switching over to LEDs for all the recessed ceiling fixtures -- I feel that comfortable.

FINALLY - an electrician that is honest, fair priced, pleasant to work with and above all knowledgeable and skilled. I had a complex exterior lighting issue at my house thanks to terrible seller's realtors in not handing over information on how to work things in the house. This one perplexed me and all my handyman friends until Yuri showed and did one walk through of my property and then diagnosed and fixed the issue. He arrived just two hours after I called to check his availability. He will no doubt be my go-to electrician here on out as its so rare to find good trade people in LA.

EV Guys are Honest, fast, efficient and do a very clean job!!! The EV guys offered me the best price (compared to 5 other), 2 people came out and did a wonderful job installing my 60 amp Tesla home charger. The installation was clean with excellent customer service. Top Tier service and craftsmanship, my friends have even reach out to me to get their charging needs with EV guys. Pat absolutely saved my holiday BBQ!  Picture this, it's Saturday, the 4th of July & a hot day in the South Bay, no less. The A/C is on, Pandora is cranking some good 80s tunes & I'm about to settle into the kitchen to marinate some nice, thick pork chops for the BBQ, cold beer in hand. When suddenly, BAM! the power goes out. Yeah, when it's 88° outside.  88° is nothing, you say!  But hey, we're South Bay-ers, so anything above 75° is hot. Yay, warm beer! Said no one, ever...
Cue the call to the management company emergency line, hoping & praying they answer on a 3 day weekend. They do, but tell me no one will be able to come out today. Grrrrrreat. Thankfully, they connect me to Pat @ Rocco Construction. After a quick phone call to assess the situation, he says he'll come right over.  Fast forward about an hour, which seemed like 142,355 hours with no A/C & no cold beer, and the Holiday Hero shows up!  Pat & his wife Alma fixed us up within about 10 min.  We offered him a cold one, but he politely declined & took a water & Pepsi for the Mrs. They were so helpful, quick to reply, expertly fixed our electric issue & got us cooled down super fast. Not to mention, they both wore masks & distanced as much as possible for our safety considering the circumstances. Would 10/10 recommend!
