We hired Alex & Alex to to do a variety of small electrical jobs.  They arrived promptly, wearing masks even though they are vaccinated.  They communicated well, clarifying what we were asking and letting us know how they would proceed.  They worked efficiently and accomplished everything that we had asked.  They even fixed the lights on our range hood although they don't generally repair appliances.  We had not asked for an estimate before they started, as for some of the tasks it was unclear what would be involved until they began the work.  Their total bill for this work was very reasonable.  Alex & Alex will be out go-to electricians in the future.

Optimum Electrical is the best! I used them on a project and was extremely happy. They were fast and came in at budget. If you need good electrical work done, I highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again!

Roman and Igor are the best. We've hired them to do three projects (two with Roman and Igor, and one with just Roman) and were blown away each time. Have also referred them to other clients and gotten positive feedback.

Just amazed by their carefulness and attention to detail. Everything they do with so much effort and love. I've never seen this with another contractor.

Some of their work can be seen in the attached photos. They helped us install a chandelier in a large and extremely high stairwell. It took all day and they were meticulous throughout. And the end product is spectacular.

The pricing is very fair and should be competitive with anyone else. But no one else will come close to their quality and service.

Zenith Electric responded quickly to my request for a quote and scheduled a time for a free estimate (other businesses charge $125 for that).

Artin had a look at the space, gave me a quote, and scheduled the installation for two 240 volt outlets for the next business day, because my appliances were going to be delivered the day after.

So thankful, it worked out on time. The work was done beautifully. They covered the floor and the wall cabinets, to keep the dust to a minimum, patched up the holes nicely, and cleaned up at the end.

Also, both guys were friendly, no bullshit - finished the whole project in 5 hours.

A crew of two electricians came over at the scheduled hour to performe a few tasks around my apartment.
I was very pleased with the result! The job was well done and the electricians were knowledgeable and professional. The price seemed fair and the work was clean and quick. Highly recommended

Update 3 years later: Happy to report that the service is as good as it was the last time. Our bathroom light needed a new switch (we thought, but it tuned out that a ballast for the light was bad) and I saw some arcing on our garage overhead light. So we requested Eric once again, and again, he did an amazing job. He showed up as scheduled on Christmas Eve. This time, the job took longer than we expected but Eric toiled away on the issues late into the day. We had plans that evening and ended up having to leave poor Eric outside in the garage working alone while we left. The poor guy worked alone at our house late on Christmas Eve (we gave him a nice tip). But knowing that this was West LA Electric, we also knew that we were in good hands. Sure enough we returned to perfectly functioning lights.
Thank you again West LA Electric. You've proven to us again why you're our go-to electricians.

Todd is a knowledgeable guy. He came to install recessed lights for our bedrooms which have sloped ceilings. He and his crew did a great job on the installation/patching up his work, and be careful around the home. Nice and polite guy. His rate is also fair. I recommend him.

Hector and his team at Got Light Electric did an A+ job fixing our electrical issue. We were dealing with a broken chandelier that was particularly hard to reach in our two-story home. I called a few places, and Hector with Got Light Electric was the most professional and easy to work with. He was able to schedule his crew to come out within a few days and communicated well via phone/text.

When his 2-person crew arrived, I was very impressed with their cleanliness and COVID-related precautions. We have had various workers in our home recently, and I must say the crew with Got Light Electric have been the most clean, professional, and respectful while doing their job. They wore masks and shoe covers the whole time, and spoke very respectfully to me and my wife. When going to their truck to get a tool, they would remove their shoe covers, then put them back on when coming back inside. These little meticulous precautions mean a lot as we all try to keep our families safe, and I am very grateful.

When it came to the job, these guys were top notch. They carefully planned some advanced ladder placement skills to get up to the hard to reach chandelier. Once up there, they found the problem quickly and were able to fix it. They warned me their ladder may scuff the new paint job, but they were so careful that there was no damage at all. They covered the floors, stairs, and their ladder legs to protect our home.

Given the professionalism and level of skill these guys bring to the table, the cost is reasonable. If you have any electrical needs, I would highly recommend Got Light Electric!

Yuri and Mike just came out to our house to install two bathroom fans / lights and did a really good job. They had to figure out the labyrinth of our ancient electrical system and solved to problem to get us power for lights, fan and heat no problem. They are also very nice and personable guys-- Mike even offered to help me when he saw me bringing the trash bins back from the street. Their rate was also very reasonable. I will call them again for sure.

Manny and his team were amazing for us.  They hooked up a 240 volt charger for our Tesla and they installed over 50 feet of electrical wires hooking up a Jacuzzi.  Manny was great and the team showed up on time and got the job done at a reasonable price.  I feel like I have finally found an electrician that I can go to for all my electrical needs.  Thanks Manny and thanks Seven Electric!!!

I called for an estimate based upon the great Yelp reviews /  they wanted to charge me $109 just to come out and provided an estimate - reason our people need to be paid I declined

Fast is right! I called Nic at 7 am when half of my house went dark. He not only answered his phone, he was at my house by 8 am. Had it up and running with new breakers very quickly and even helped me to write new labels for the box.

Called to have the work of a previous electrician reviewed and for the installation of a direct line for the AC. The team from MC=e3 responded to my call within 30 minutes. Gave me a time range that they would visit my home, and was on time. Then the staff examined the prior work completed, and discuss the required work (inc. time for installation and follow-up steps). Very easy to deal with, honest and speedy and followed up to ensure no issues later the same day.

Best electrical team thus far.

I received a quote from Mr. Castillo back in 2019 for a new electrical panel. I was unable to do the work at that time. Fast forward 2023, I got the same work done, by a licensed electrician for less than 1/2 of what Mr. Castillo would have charged. Lesson learned, get at least three quotes. The other electrician also found on Yelp. Case and point, I do not doubt that Castillo is a good electrician, but definitely OVERPRICED! I also don't doubt that his price would be AT LEAST triple of what he quoted me back in 2019.

We had some flickering lights that neither a general contractor nor another electrician could solve. Nshan and his partner immediately and efficiently fixed the problem (as well as replacing an outlet that had broken). They were quick, courteous and clean (wearing booties so as to not track in dirt). Can't recommend these guys any higher!

I wanted to split a set of ceiling lights and put them on separate switches. A previous electrician told me it couldn't be done. A-First Electrician accomplished the task. Plus fixed and installed other lights and cleaned up nicely.. I'll be calling them for more projects.

I was referred to Gary by a contractor. I needed to have some electrical outlets added. Gary evaluated the work and gave me a fair price. He spent a couple of hours installing two new outlets, replaced an old outlet and also installed a dimmer switch. He made sure what he did was up to code for any inspections that may need to be done. He was friendly and cleaned up nicely after he had to cut out some of the wall for the installation which was expected. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to friends.
