Marvin Cute was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles.
Mr. Cute comes from hard working parents who instilled the simple values of hard work and determination
while never sacrificing respectability. Marvin's father, Abel, became familiar in the electrical business
working in construction and mastering it in his many years of tenure.
Having numerous recognitions amongst great companies in the industry,
Abel passed on his need for great service and pursuit of knowledge in the electrical field to his family.
Driven by his fathers passing, Marvin strived to create a company founded in his family ethics and experience.
Having already made strides in becoming a well organized apprentice and receiving journeyman status,
Marvin took little time in his progress. Attaining his certification and foreman status,

Can't asked for better service electrical service than I received from Marvin and Eddie @ mc=e3.
I've had 2 electrical panel upgrades for 2 homes and also EV charging station installed. All were done well, and Marvin dealt with the city reguarding all needed permits and 1 less thing I have to be bothered with...Looking for excellent electricians who know their stuff look no further.

Marvin showed up same day and fixed our problems within minutes. Took great care in bringing booties for his shoes and gave honest advice for how to handle the problems we had with our smoke detectors being installed on our 18ft ceiling. Awesome communicator and wonderful service. If you don't want to deal with a sleazy vendor and have ridiculous back and forth calls and texts- call Marvin!!!

This is the second time I've used them. It was the week of Thanksgiving and two other electricians said they weren't available for a week and a half and the condo I rent for Airbnb was without power in the kitchen due to a shorted outlet. Stop searching Yelp for electricians and call MC=E3 now.

Most things I feel confident I can do myself but I absolutely don't mess with electricity. I've been using MC=E3 for about 10 years now. I think my first call to them was something very minor and honestly probably not worth their time but they showed up. I was impressed by their service and fair rates, so I kept calling them for different projects. For more than a decade now MC=E3 has done everything for me from landscape lighting, to burying an outdoor overhanging power line, to a complete home remodel.

I'm convinced there simply isn't a better electrician in Los Angeles than Marvin or Eddie. You can expect quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price from people who clearly take pride in their work.

I'm very happy with the service that I received from MC=E3. I needed a Charge Point system installed in my garage, which involved adding a 40A plug/circuit and drilling the unit onto my wall.

I did a quick search on Yelp! and Google to find a local provider and they were super fast with their text responses and we found a mutually convenient time to come to my place within 2 days!

The process was fast and efficient. Highly recommend!

We needed a 40-amp charger in our garage for an EV. I called Marvin about coming and providing an estimate on Friday. He was out here on Monday morning, scheduled it on Tuesday, got the parts on Wednesday and it was installed before noon on Thursday. Communication is huge with things like this, and it was stellar with him.

If we ever need anything done with our house that relates to what his company does, Marvin will be the first call I make.

Called Marvin yesterday morning about a few outlets on the same breaker that weren't working. He came the same day, found the issue immediately and fixed it! Was really worried about this because the cost could have gotten out of hand and I know it's very possible to be taken advantage of. Didn't happen here, he came fixed the side and left!

It's December 31 -- no electricians are picking up their phones and half my house has no power.

He showed up quickly, diagnosed the problem, gave me clear insight to it, and then fixed it within an hour so that I have power for the new year.

Our small commercial unit had a short and then lost power to one of the main lines. Marvin came out and solve the issue fast. I'm so happy I found Marvin and his team.  I've been looking so long for an electrician to install our charger for months.  All the other electricians were never responsive.  They'd take a look and I'd never hear from them again even after I'd follow up.  Once I spoke with Marvin he came and took a look immediately and I had my charger  installed two days later.  They were done with the installation in less than 2 hours.  Talk about fast, convenient and professional service.  I would definitely call them again for any electricity needs.

These guys were great! Showed up on time. Friendly with no drama. No upsell. No BS. They just fixed my main panel switch and a GFI that had blown because of all the torrential rain for a very reasonable price. This is exactly what you want in a local electrician. Marvin and his crew came out today to fix a wiring issue for our HVAC system.

Unlike previous electricians who came out for the same problem, they immediately identified the issue and fixed it in not time. They were extremely professional, efficient and explained everything in great detail.

Had a major issue with my main breaker which kept shutting down if we would run our AC and our Tesla charger at 20-25 amps, so I reached out to MC and they were able to provide a couple options the most viable one being that we swap my main breaker which was 100 amps to a new one of 125 amps. They came in and within 15 minutes I had a new breaker installed and Marvin and his team stayed for 30 plus minutes while I ran my AC, Tesla charger at 30 amps, and my washer and dryer set and my breaker did not go off! Thanks MC, the team is professional, quick and friendly!

Marvin has done a few jobs at my home and I consistently find him to be honest, professional, basically a pleasure to work with.  I asked Marvin to troubleshoot a problem with my exterior path lights.   I told him with the lightbulbs constantly going out, it must be a shoddy wiring job by the original electrician.   To Marvin's credit, he was thorough and very honest and told me the existing wiring was fine, that the problem was the fixtures were unreliable.  In other words it would have been very easy for him to charge me to redo all the wiring, instead he was honest and took the time to identify the actual problem and propose a (less expensive) fix.   I accepted his recommendation for new fixtures and am very happy with the end result.

I ordered my mom a new washer and dryer from Costco and needed a new outlet and more power to her unit since she lives in an older apartment. The outlet for our incinerator was water damaged, and ended up needing to be replaced. Marvin took his time with me on the phone, answering my questions and spelling everything out clearly. We used Marvin and his guys a couple years ago to install a plug in our studio for a glass kiln. They did an excellent job and we haven't had any issues.
He just did some work for us again at our home. We had 3 outlets that did not get power. Marvin got them working in less than an hour. I'd say we caught him at a good time because he came the same day, actually 15mins after we called, he happened to be in the area. We are definitely keeping his info if we have anymore electrical work in the future.

There was a city inspection and I  needed to complete the changes right after the New Year. All other electricians didnt think they would be able to finish the job by the inspection date. He was very clear about the best-case scenario and warned me about a potential issue that might arise once he got into the walls. His communication all around was very good. Incredible experience. Quick to respond and arrived on time. Smart and professional. I was having a problem with some outlets not working. Often this can be a total nightmare trying to troubleshoot. The guys quickly worked though each outlet and diagnosed the problem by eliminating the problem wire that was interrupting the rest. This took confidence and hard work to diagnose. They made the repair and I was back in business. Highly recommend. Honest and trustworthy. Look forward to using them again!

I reached out to mc=e3 to get a quote for adding a few outlets in the backyard. The guys showed up the same morning I called to take a look and provide a price. I had them come the next week and the outlets were installed in just over an hour. The made sure I tested the outlets before they left to make sure they were working properly. Nice guys who do efficient work. Pricing was similar to other quotes I received.

After getting a very thorough house inspection, we needed many things fixed from proper bonding, wiring of an electrical box, bare wires that needed to be properly terminated, and GFCI repair of an outlet.

Marvin answered the phone himself, came out with Eddie the following day to inspect, and gave an estimate that was more than fair. They came EARLY on the day and finished the entire job within 2 hours, going above and beyond what we had asked for, even replacing some light bulbs and adding a dedicated plug with supplies that they HAD in their truck!

They are very knowledgeable professionals, explaining the reasons and the solutions to issues and gave us possible remedies without pressuring us to go for the most expensive option.

They are personable and friendly, patiently going over the details and answering all questions.

They are now my electricians for ANY electrical issues. As much as I hated having to do all the repairs, I am glad I found the right people to do the job!

Something has happened where I now have to amend my raving review from 2016.

Marvin & Eddie used to be great but the work they did was shoddy and I now have to redo.  In addition, there was a desperation and lack of professionalism.

I wasn't sent an invoice properly and when I did receive it it was for work they hadn't completed yet they demanded payment and stated they only invoice for what they do.  

To Marvin's credit he did removed the extra $100 but the charges didn't make any sense.  I paid the revised invoice anyway but the installation of two outlet and a box ranged from $250 to $375... and that was without the actual Lutron outlet.  Excessive.    

When I finally got a revised invoice, which took many asks as Eddie was trying to email it...but it never came through.  I surmise it was a very large file and wouldn't send.  I had a check immediately mailed out.  

No less than one business day, I  am hounded with texts/phone calls asking me for payment.  It was invasive and unrelenting.  Honestly, it wasn't even that much money either, but compared to the work it was way overpriced.  

So, if you use them (they are responsive), make sure you get a written estimate prior and don't expect a reasonable day or two to get them paid.  They also need to be reminded  to send the invoice to get paid.  They didn't do it immediately but expected immediate payment when they finally did.  '
Sadly the barrage isn't worth it.  I would tolerate but then the work was subpar and way overpriced.

My doorbell/chime in my 1929 house ceased to function a few months ago.  I love a wired old fashioned doorbell and wanted it fixed.  Hence I purchased an awesome 1972 chime.

Contacted these folks to do the job.  Received several emails re cost.  Reality?  I could care less about cost.  I just want a fabulous vintage chime and am more than willing to pay.

Eddie showed up today.  Nice guy but what I needed done was over his head.  

Reality?  I will do the work myself on Saturday.  I understand electricity and circuitry and don't need these guys.

If u need a lightbulb changed these are your guys.  Anything more complex?

Marvin & his crew were prompt, friendly, and went above & beyond the services needed.
I only have a brief window free in the middle of the weekdays, so it was important that Marvin arrive right on time. They arrived a bit early and were fast and efficient. They installed 2 chandeliers that hang from very high ceilings. Although they couldn't replace the chain to one of the chandeliers that hung from 15 ft above, he let me know how to effectively clean the chain. Overall, this saved us the financial burden of getting another chain of the correct length for the chandelier.

After the job was done, I had Marvin check an outlet that wasn't working. The issue was quickly fixed. Thanks to Marvin & his team!

So I found Marvin here on Yelp.  Perfect reviews.  I own a triplex that had an outlet that stopped working under the sink.  I called Marvin and he was great about setting up the appointment.  He told me $89 fee to see what is wrong and he would apply that to the cost of the repairs.

So he did the work yesterday.  He texted me and said it was $150.  I figured he must have had to do something more than just change the outlet.  

Well, I talked to my tenant today.  He was there for 15 minutes and exchanged the outlet.  Nothing more.  I looked at the bill he sent me after I paid it.  There was no breakdown of what was done and there is a 10% credit card fee.  

I feel I just got scammed.  Replacing a single outlet should not cost $165.  I had other jobs that I was going to do with him, but not anymore.

I  used Marvin and team for the second time. Another amazing job. Always shows up on time, does the work in under the estimated time and is super professional. I had them install five outlets in our house and mc=e3 did the work in half the time they thought and made it so I didn't have to do any paint or patching. Highly recommended. Definitely my goto folks.

I was blown away by MC=e3 Electric's responsiveness and professionalism.  Marvin and his team are rock stars and came right out when I had some electrical issues.  They solved the issue right away with one of the outdoor outlets and pool lights I was having issue with. In addition, they came out and installed several outdoor light fixtures on the front of my house for a very reasonable estimate.

I can't recommend these guys enough!

AMAZING WORK! DO NOT THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING!
Mc=e3 are very professional at what they do. They are on time, they give you fair pricing and best of all their workmanship is off the charts. I had to hire them to troubleshoot and fix work that a previous electrician did in my property.

My Father had previously contracted a electrician to install exterior lights and a electrical gate! His work only lasted a few years and we were left with no exterior lights and a non working gate door. He did allot of things out of code and pretty dangerous  

Mc=e3 Came in and pointed all the mistakes that the previous electrician did. They were able to troubleshoot and fix the problems and reinstall everything properly and up to code.

Moral of the story, don't let my Father hiring just anyone and save yourself the heart ache and hire MC=e3

I called this company on short notice to repair a GFCI outlet and I love how quickly they showed up on the way to another job and got it done. I also appreciate the detailed invoice I received so that I could forward it to the seller...we are currently in escrow and this was a repair request that needed to be remedied quickly. I'm so glad I found a local electrician I can call. You don't know how hard it is to communicate with some vendors. I love the efficiency and the ability to answer back by text and payment by Venmo or Zelle!

Marvin & Eddie are the best! I came across these guys by personal referral a few months back after I started having some power issues but couldn't find an electrician online that would shoot me straight.

I first thought I was having issues with breakers, but then realized my panel was arcing / going bad. This was causing all kinds of problems, from breakers and my computer monitors shutting off to other power and light flickers.

It started on the right side of my circuit panel and these guys were super honest - Rather than pressure me to replace the entire panel they set it up so I didn't have to do it immediately and could safely wait it out a bit longer.

Fast forward to a week ago, and another breaker on my panel started arcing (my breaker box was ~40 years old and was way beyond time to replace). I knew it was time to take care of it so I asked Marvin & Eddie to come back to replace the whole thing. They knocked it out in just a few hours so now I can stop stressing about the arcing & don't have to deal with things shutting off or flickering during wfh.

Highly recommend these guys! Added them to our HOA's Trusted Vendors list as the exclusive electricians.

My wife and I needed a bunch of electrical work done for our Jacuzzi installation, and I like to do my homework, so we yelped like 10 local electricians and were able to get 4 separate ones come out and give us quotes, including Marvin with mc=e3.

Marvin stood out from the rest for these reasons:

#1 He gave us a really competitive quote
#2 he actually RESPONDED right after the visit with the quote in writing. None of the other electricians bothered to even get back to us with a hard quote after verbally ballparking us one during the site visit. Look, if they can't put in the effort to follow up, then they're not getting my business
#3 Marvin looked at what we needed and told us what he could do with a very can do attitude. Maybe it's just me, but I don't want someone to come over and spend 30 minutes half-complaining to me how hard the job's going to be (a couple of the other electricians were like this). I want someone to identify the requirements, and either pass, or tell me that they can do it with confidence, which is exactly what Marvin did.

So we hired him, and we have no regrets. He was responsive, available, showed up, and knocked it out. Marvin even fixed up some shoddy electrical work on our gazebo that was put in by a sloppy contractor. Everything looks snazzy and safe (and up to code) now. It's all we wanted in a professional. So now the house/yard is wired up, the Jacuzzi is heating up, and we're looking forward to a soak soon.

I know finding good people to help you with your home is pretty hit or miss, but for me, I'll definitely be calling Marvin and crew again if I need electrical work done.

Marvin and crew were timely and communicative; they did good work, and they made the process very easy. They came out and provided a free estimate for installing a new circuit in my apartment. The initial install happened quickly and they were very considerate while I was working from home. After the initial install, it didn't seem to be working quite right. I texted Marvin and he responded promptly. The issue was resolved within 2 business days at no additional charge, and would have probably been fixed even faster but he had to hunt for an old part. Great work and great service.

tl;dr - don't waste your time. Find another electrician.

I had an appointment with these guys after a referral from a friend (hi Charlie). I just bought a new house and I had a few small items I wanted to take care of right away. The appointment was on a Wednesday and escrow closed two days later on Friday.

About 15 minutes before the appointment time, I get a text from the electrician. He's suddenly concerned that I don't own the property and tells me that he can't do any work on it until my escrow is closed. I tell him it's in two days and the loan is already funded. He continues to push back.

So I give him a call and plead with him. Please come out, I own this house in two days, I just want you to tell me how much work it will be to fix these few things. We have an appointment, just come out and we'll talk it through. I thought I was being reasonable but this dude wasn't having it.

All he kept saying was, I wish I could help you, buddy. But I can't. I can't. After minutes of going back and forth and making no progress, I told him to forget it. Super frustrating. Ultimately, I found another guy who did a great job and that's that.

But, on the topic of I wish I could help you, buddy...allow me to help other people understand what kind of unprofessional behavior they can expect from these guys. I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. They do not honor appointments, have unspoken rules that surface at the last minute, and from what I can tell from other reviewers, aren't even that good to begin with. There are plenty of quality electricians in LA and I will gladly recommend them to anyone interested - send me a message. I was willing to give these guys a shot but they screwed it up by treating me like my time wasn't worth anything.

Well, what's it worth to you now? My Yelp Elite Gold status means that my review floats to the top of your page. You should have treated me with respect. Now you have this turd of a one star review that will greet all of your potential future customers.

This was my first time having electricians coming to my place for electric issue! This morning we brew one of the fuse and was not able to fix it ourselves. Since we never hired electricians before I looked one on yelp and found MC=e3 Electric. They answered my call right away and was able to come on the same day. Marvin (who is the owner) and another electrician came within an hour. As soon as they arrive, Marvin found the problem and fix it within 10-15 min.
Also I had some issue on my automatic garage gate. Even though they don't fix automatic gate but he checked and made sure that power isn't the issue and also pointed out possibly problem with the gate and gave me some recommendation.
Marvin definitely know his stuff! I really appreciate their quick response and fast job. I hope I don't have anymore electric issue but if I do I know who to call!

I'm a property manager and I called for a same-day bathroom light fixture/ballast replacement (urgent tenant issue).

Eddie and Marvin were very friendly and communicative, and were able to locate parts to replace a very old fixture and successfully complete the job on the same day. Prices are very reasonable too - would definitely use them again!

After talking to different electricians and getting several quotes, I eventually chose mc=e3. I have a 2 story 3,500 sq ft house that needed rewiring and mc=e3 worked efficiently and methodically through each room. Marvin and Eddie are great!  I texted them and said I had an electrical issue, they came by the next day, figured out the issue, and then fixed it the next day with a new part.  Very VERY efficient, good with technology which is a god send.  They took credit card info over the phone and was very responsive throughout the whole ordeal.

They are my new electrician. Prices were fair and the work hopefully is good and i'll definitely be using them again!

I did not have a good experience with Marvin. He came to my apartment before the holiday to consult with me for $80 down, and to look at what I needed done.

The biggest job involved attaching a new ceiling heater in the bathroom--I wanted the job priced, but Marvin came and tested the electrical on it, which I already knew worked (he never asked me if it worked--I could have told him that it did). I asked him what it would cost if I bought the heater and let him do the job, and he wouldn't tell me, kept avoiding giving me an answer, said he would get back to me.

Then I asked him what it would take to plug my fire alarm back in (which I could do myself, but since he was there...) and also for help with this one light that was burned out (Marvin got on his ladder, put his instrument in the socket to tweak it, and he put the bulb in in two seconds). So basically, he checked one thing that I could have told him about, tweaked a light bulb fixture, and advised me on my fire alarm for $80.

As he was on his way out the door, I asked again, How much to put in the heater? As I gave you $80, would it be like $40 more? (because the $80 was said to be a down payment for any other work), and he said, Well, noooo, it would be much more, cause I just did this other work! I thought, Hmm, but you barely did anything, and now I've given you $80. Ok, how much? I asked. I'll let you know, he said, then was gone, and almost a month later, I still haven't heard from him.

I really felt like Marvin glad-handed me--That it was all about the instant money, and that he didn't want to tell me how much more installing the heater would be in person, so that he could just grab my money and go, then have distance between us when he would then inform me via text that it would be like $300 more, or something ridiculous. Bad businessman! And, I felt, dishonest, as he was so un-forthcoming in the moment, but happy to say, Oh, nooooo! It's going to be soooo much more! I questioned whether it was perhaps cause he just wanted to overcharge me on a heater, as well? Was it just not worth his time otherwise? Consult a bad idea, folks. Find someone who'll build trust with you (Marvin, are you listening? This is what you failed to do).

Really insulting, dude. You did precious little for 15 minutes, took my money, wouldn't give me an answer, then didn't get back to me. Wtf.

Marvin and his team did a great job fixing a breaker situation in my kitchen, installing a new flood light cam, plus redoing some faulty wiring in the light switches in my house. They were professional, fast, affordable, and honest about their work (at no point did they try to upsell me... instead talking me through the pros and cons of various projects and their costs, and working within my budget). They diagnose and fix problems very intuitively. They were also COVID conscious and wore masks the whole time. They are now my new go-to electricians. Recommended!

Quick, affordable and amazing, these guys are top notch. Did I mention they are quick? I mean super fast with work!

One of my properties needed immediate electrical work done. Not only did they show up the next morning. They repaired everything that needed attention  promptly. Also, their work is exceptionally clean. Not a single molding is harmed in their work. This is crucial when servicing up scale properties.

Marvin is a great guy and not afraid to explain what needs to be done. He and his team are fast and friendly. They serviced my property in Hollywood and were done with their work in 2 hours. This included repairing several electrical sockets, switches and smoke detectors.

For payment, they simply bill you via email or through your iPhone using Square. Talk about ease of use.

They replaced a bunch of sockets in my house that were either damaged or were not GFCI-compliant. They also wired a cable wire into a receptacle that they put in the wall and installed bathroom ventilation fans with lights. They did a good job.

I contacted MC=e3 to help me figure out some lighting issues at my home.  Some of the LED light bulbs have been flickering/randomly turning off so I asked to get a consult to help decide if i should update the cans/fixtures, if the dimmers were problematic, or if there was another issue.  They got me on the schedule pretty quickly which was great.  The day before, someone texted me to tell me they would charge an $80 troubleshoot fee which would be applied to whatever service needed to be done.  I questioned that fee, and he offered to cancel the appointment if I didn't want to pay.  ok...

They came to the appointment today- they were extremely friendly and polite, which I appreciated.  They spent 45-50 minutes at my place, during which time they walked around and unscrewed 3 different dimmer plates, and took out 5 LED bulbs, and replaced them with other bulbs I already owned.  (I could have done that).  His advice to me was to order different, more expensive bulbs.  He also jumped on amazon on my phone and added the bulbs he suggested I buy to fix the problem. I thought that was helpful until I later realized I already have those same bulbs installed in some of these light fixtures, so I guess that won't actually fix my problem after all.

That was the extent of the work performed before his colleague grabbed the ladder and said they had to go to their next job.

I was fully expecting to pay the $80 trouble shoot fee for their advice, but he then told me my total was $220 for today.  When i asked for a cost breakdown, his answer was literally Well, we've been working and doing things since we got here...so that's why.

I'm not knocking their work- they didn't perform any major services for me to even evaluate- however I also do not feel I should have been charged $220 for them to shuffle 5 random old light bulbs around (yes, i counted...it was 5), and I already owned all of them, so it's not like they even tried new ones to see- these were all used old cheap bulbs!  They did adjust 1 dimmer switch so that was cool.  So the 2 stars are for quick response time, friendliness and adjusting the dimmer to allow me to dim the kitchen lights a bit more.  

I really think these guys charged me way too much for what they actually did.

Knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and communicative. Eddie came out and replaced a receptacle that had been improperly wired by a previous contractor and had actually overheated, caught fire, and melted. He not only replaced the receptacle, but diagnosed the underlying issue, explained it, and solved it. He also replaced another faulty GFCI.

Very pleased with their service. With so many shady electrician services out there (I've dealt with a couple), it's refreshing to find a trustworthy electrician in LA! Prices are fair and competitive.

I recently purchased a stupid-expensive lighting fixture and had my regular handyman come by to put it up. He didn't feel confident in his abilities to put it up because the fixture was so heavy. He recommended I call an electrician. I was bummed because I wanted my light up and I didn't have an electrician.

I checked Yelp and found MC=e3 Electric. Within in minutes I had a quote and same day appointment set.

The team of electricians arrived within 15 minutes of me saying lets do it!

The men who came to put up my light were kind, professional, and did a REALLY good job.

My light is up, looks great, and I couldn't be happier.

Next lighting project I have, MC=e3 Electric will be the first people I call.

Very disappointed!

I've used them in the past and service was very good.
This time service was very disappointing.

Jorge came by Thursday and assessed the issue and stated that Marvin would be getting back with me with a quote.
Spoke with Marvin around 2pm and he said he would let me know later that evening or Friday morning what the repair cost would be.
I didn't hear from Marvin Thursday evening nor Friday morning.
I waited and waited and then decided to call Marvin.
I called him at 2pm to check to see what was going on, and he claimed he was just getting ready to text me.

Very unprofessional!

Called this afternoon and a few hours later Eddie and his colleague showed up, despite the heat wave and high demand. A++++ just for that.  Within 5 minutes trouble shot the issue and fixed the circuit breaker panel. AC back online and everyone is happy. Highly recommend and price was fair.

They SAVED ME!  literally. Clever Company Name, and it GOT MY ATTENTION! I had vacant unit painted, the painters took down ALL the light fixtures down, and off the walls, did NOT replace them, and left.  Some still hanging from the ceiling, the new tenant was moving in. like within 5 MINUTES!   I knew nothing about how to fix lights and securing fixtures. Very disappointed!

I've used them in the past and service was very good.
This time service was very disappointing.

Jorge came by Thursday and assessed the issue and stated that Marvin would be getting back with me with a quote.
Spoke with Marvin around 2pm and he said he would let me know later that evening or Friday morning what the repair cost would be.
I didn't hear from Marvin Thursday evening nor Friday morning.
I waited and waited and then decided to call Marvin.
I called him at 2pm to check to see what was going on, and he claimed he was just getting ready to text me.

Very unprofessional!

Called this afternoon and a few hours later Eddie and his colleague showed up, despite the heat wave and high demand. A++++ just for that.  Within 5 minutes trouble shot the issue and fixed the circuit breaker panel. AC back online and everyone is happy. Highly recommend and price was fair.

They SAVED ME!  literally. Clever Company Name, and it GOT MY ATTENTION! I had vacant unit painted, the painters took down ALL the light fixtures down, and off the walls, did NOT replace them, and left.  Some still hanging from the ceiling, the new tenant was moving in. like within 5 MINUTES!   I knew nothing about how to fix lights and securing fixtures. They came, did the job and left. Very quick and efficient, Reasonable Prices. I BLINKED, and it was done! These guys were available immediately, worked quickly and found the problem we were having in our rental property. Then the work was done - all seemed well until we had the same/similar problem again a day later - they were back within hours of being notified and stood by their work with a promise that it wouldn't happen again. I wanted to install a 240 outlet for a washer/dryer. My good friend referred me to Willie Bell, the owner of MC=e3 Electric. I left a message, and Mr. Bell called me back within two days.

He came over within the window he gave me and quickly assessed the situation. He told me how big of an upgrade it would take to do what I had in mind, and I decided to go another route.

Had trouble over Thanksgiving break, contacted Marvin first thing morning, he responded within 30 minutes, was able to sechedule me in on the same morning !
Eddie and Jorge showed on time, trouble shoot the issue and gave me an estamite before started job.  They kepy the work area clean, and was very professional !

Marvin and Eddie were fantastic!  Marvin answered my call and they were at my house within 2 hours.  They looked around and diagnosed my problem in a short time and explained everything they were doing in a way i could understand it.  They fixed the issue, made sure everything was working, and showed me what they did to make sure I knew what I got for the price I was paying (which was incredibly reasonable).  I can't recommend them highly enough.

I called Martin, the owner, for an emergency electrical problem in my home and he was able to send out technicians within 20 minutes!  I can't speak highly enough about their knowledge, professionalism or work ethic.

Eddie and his co-worker took the time to explain what was wrong (correcting the work of a previous company), explain the costs involved beforehand and made sure to clean up any debris left behind during their work - they were very conscientious.

I will definitely use this company again and highly rate them for being fair in pricing,  knowledge and timeliness. Great job

We wanted to add more LED light fixtures in our office. Spoke with Marvin. Eddie & George was very helpful when they came to check what we were trying to do. They had some trouble with our concrete (Our concrete is super hard FYI) at first, but they did a great job finding a way around it and now our office is brighter than ever. Would recommend them to all.

They're friendly and respond very promptly.

I called up MC=e3 to fix a recessed light fixture that recently stopped working. They were able to get an electrician (Eddie) to come out within the hour (talk about fast!). Eddie was extremely prompt and courteous, and he resolved the issue right then and there. He explained to me the culprit and how to fix similar issues in the future if I wanted to go the DIY route.

too bad all my good electricians retired, I could count on them, Dwp required wires to me moved above the roof line, these electricians started on wrong foot, they didn't listen to my instructions, had to have DWP draw them a simple diagram and they still didn't do it right, additional charges, the head guy has his own way of doing things, short cuts, even DBS said they didn't follow the diagram correctly, just really unprofessional(kept calling me his buddy) overcharged me a lot, felt ripped off because of his mistakes, I will not use them again, got these guys off yelp, I won't use yelp referrals again, I will find a professional electrician by word of mouth. ..

We had a tricky install of a new-ish system of wireless light switches along with a few more items (installing a new outlet and security system for our carport), and I was impressed at the amount of care they put into the work, including coming back for a second time to make sure everything was still working after we had initially purchased an incorrect part. These guys are TERRIFIC.  We just moved into an apartment and part of the power in one of the rooms went out. Took a chance with MC=e3 based on all the positive reviews and boy am I glad we did! Not only did Marvin and his team show up in under 20 minutes, they instantly diagnosed the problem as a loose wire behind the wall, fixed it in under 2 minutes, and only charge me the diagnostic rate. In addition, they provided a bunch of helpful advice regarding some other electrical questions I had for our new unit (they weren't rushing out the door). Can't recommend highly enough.

I just had the pleasure of meeting Marvin and two of his team this morning. My downstairs rental unit had a power outage in one living room wall and the bathroom. They tracked it back and found where the power box was and fixed it. It wasn't the cheapest but it was not outrageous either. I am extremely pleased and will use them again!

I am amending this review after trying to get a quote / follow up visit from the team. The communication is spartan at best and after talking to a number of other electricians I believe their pricing is actually quite a bit higher than I thought. I have gotten some extremely competitive quotes for upgrading the outlet.  I have decided to go with a team with lower prices and better customer service.

Marvin and his crew are super solid. Installed an electrical outlet in bathroom. Marvin was sharp as a whip and found the optimal place to pull the electricity from. He came in to give me a price estimate and we decided to get the job done at time of inspection. In an out within an hour.

I dinged him 1 star because the cutout for the electrical outlet was slightly bigger and the cover did not cover the hole all the way. Easily fixable with some caulking but none the less needs to be fixed.

Very happy with his work and would recommend him.

Charged $80 to trouble shoot (meaning just to come out). I was desperate and the other electrician I called said it would take over 1 week to come out, so I agreed. I didn't think the issue would take long to resolve, and I was right. They were supposed to come yesterday, and I received a message that the technician's car battery had been stolen while picking up supplies so he wouldn't be able to come. I had already taken the afternoon off work, but I didn't want to be a b**ch, so I agreed to take another afternoon off work today. A different technician came today. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 min, then had the audacity to charge $210 (no consideration for the fact that I had to take 2 afternoons off of work). At that point, I was already $80 committed, so I didn't see the point of not agreeing to the work. However, the cost is RIDICULOUS for a 20 min job (all they had to do was replace an outlet in the bathroom)! I would not use them again.

Plus one star because he took the time to explain what he was doing when I told him I like to trying to fix things on my own. However he kept telling me how dangerous the wiring was in front of my tenant to try to get another job out of me. As if I would ever trust them to do a bigger job!

Marvin and his team have done some amazing work for us!! First they discovered some buried electric boxes in our walls allowing us to hang sconces without totally destroying our beautiful plaster walls. Then they installed landscape lighting in our front yard, completely changing the way our home feels at night. They were extremely efficient, communicative, tidy and professional...all while charging a very reasonable fee! Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.

AWESOME experience from Marvin and his team.

I called him early this afternoon and he was able to come within 45 minutes!  Already off to a great start.  Super friendly and professional.

He knows his job inside out, cares about the customer, is quality checking his work and that of his team and does a great job explaining options to the customer.

I thought he would have to assess the situation and then come out on a separate trip, but he had all the tools and solutions in his truck so I was able to have a working chandelier on the spot.

A really great experience overall.

The MC=e3 electric team came out to my house to do a routine inspection and install an outdoor security camera.  They were on time, efficient, and incredibly polite.  They also took extra care watching the front door while working to make sure our dog didn't get loose.

Marvin and his team were amazing! I had two light fixtured that needed some serious crafty work in order to get it working and they delivered. It was definitely more on the pricer side in terms of cost but these guys were well worth it! His team had great chemistry and seemed to effectively get the job done in a timely manner. So grateful to Marvin and his team for doing a great job installing my small chandelier. Although it was not a heavy duty piece, my vintage building in BH is very old and he did his best to explain the type of wiring I had AND make the fixture work with the fuses. He customized the on/off use based on what the building originally had and did not overcharge on labor. Very happy with his services... I definitely recommend!

Marvin and Eddie were wonderful. I got a dryer delivered, only to find out the previous owner had gerry-rigged the electrical and my new dryer would not fit the plug! After a day of trying to find an electrician, I found Marvin. He responded right away, and was able to fit me in the next morning. Eddie and George showed up early, and were able to fix the problem quickly, as well as deal with the tight spaces and obstacles around the outlet.
I 100% recommend them, and will be using them again.

Marvin, Eddie and Jorge really did a great job, helping us move an electrical box from a bedroom into the garage. There was quite a lot of wires, they did it very professionally and at a reasonable cost. We interviewed (or discussed on the phone with) several electricians and they were by far the most responsive and the best.

After our initial phone call, they even came the next day, a little earlier than our scheduled time. They were able to start the job in two days. It was complete in a few hours, ahead of time. Of the many choices, I will definitely go with them for any electrical or handyman jobs in the future. Strongly recommend!

Marvin rules! He came by within an hour of my call to go over what needed to be serviced in our home and office in the back. Quoted me an estimate the very same evening and the next day Marvin and his team were there to do the job. Marvin and his team were thorough, clean, and fast. We had two outlets installed one with a GCFI outlet and a third outlet was given a true ground for running audio equipment and studio monitors. Two outlets were checked (they were not working) he deemed them unsafe to use since they were old and checked other outlets around them for safety. MC=e3  =  LEGIT. Marvin just did an electrical inspection on a house we are buying and he was incredibly thorough and honest. He was following up on our general inspection that showed there was some active knob and tube wiring in the attic. Marvin didn't find any but talked to our general inspector on the phone to get more information and was able to figure out why that inspector thought so. I completely trust Marvin's report because he was honest about the work that *didn't* need to be done, even when my husband and I pressed him to really be sure. He was friendly and detail-oriented, spending over an hour in the house and explaining everything to us (people who otherwise know nothing about electrical work).

When it comes time to do electrical work in our house, we will absolutely hire Marvin.

I just had MC=E3 remove an old ceiling fan/light and install a new ceiling light 18 inches away so that the new light is centered in the room. Of course there was a wood beam in the way and the light fixture bracket didn't quite fit but Marvin figured out a way to make everything work.
MC=E3 worked on my house twice before and there's a reason why I called them for the third time! It's nice to have a reliable electrician who you can count on!

We are redoing our front yard and wanted to run power to the front for lighting. These guys are amazing. Not only did they work fast, the finish product was seamless and they even ran an extra line if we wanted to add another outlet out front in the future which we didn't ask for but they did it anyway! We also mentioned we wanted to plug in Christmas lights in the front and so he put a bubble cover on the outlet free of charge. Seriously top notch and friendly service. Love these guys!

Five stars reviews by 100 some plus reviewers must mean something!  I recently bought a house where the previous owner pull the permit but never finalized it.  Called few places and Marvin really stood out among others, once we decided to proceed, he was on top of it that put a shame on my current general contractor who's been dragging my deck project.  Marvin and his crews, Eddie and George are no nonsense, efficient and courteous.  They prep the work to get inspection ready, pulled the permit, within next few days, the permit was finalized without any hiccup.  I recommend him in a heartbeat as a matter of fact, he will be my electrician for any upcoming project. Marvin may be good at what he does, but all I can say is that he was very rude with the customer service aspect of the business. We called him to come in and install some outlets, and in the midst of communicating with him, he sent two texts that were really sarcastic and uncalled for. It was a red flag that he might be difficult to deal with in other ways, so we just told him not to bother coming back.

He simply had a bad GFCI outlet - nothing urgent - but not wanting to risk forgetting AGAIN, I texted Marvin at 11:00 p.m. on a 4th of July, while returning from a party.  A few minutes later, I was texting back and forth with Marvin to schedule a visit for the very next day! Talk about commitment!!!

He had originally told his guys they could sleep in the next day, but when I explained I had an afternoon commitment, Marvin got his guys to come over at 9:30 a.m. Eddie and George showed up on time, quickly located and resolved the problem, performed some diagnostics and fixed an unrelated additional issue. They were finished in less than an hour and seemed to charge less than some of their competitors.

I'll definitely call these guys for my next project, big or small!

Our power went out in half of the house with a burning smell on Memorial Day, we checked circuit breakers and fuses with no luck. I sent a text to MC=e3 and received an immediate response from Marvin. Although he couldn't come out that day, he contacted me the next day letting me know when he would be out. He came out as promised and quickly found, had the part and fixed the problem for a fair price. He also gave tips on what electrical devices to use and not use with the wiring in our older home.

Marvin and his guys came out last month and set up some new circuits for our kitchen appliances and a dedicated circuit for a new air conditioner for our old 1930 house. They also installed an exterior plug and hard wired an exhaust fan to a switch. Marvin is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were quick to come out for an estimate and schedule the work. There was a minor issue with something after they left but he sent one of his assistants back to correct it and all is well. Great communication by text and I appreciated being able to send pictures and links to clarify what we needed for our projects. So thankful we finally found a good electrician! Thanks, Marvin!!!

This was the WORST experience I've had dealing with anyone in 25 years of owning my home.  I called and spoke with Eddie.  He sent someone named Jorge to fix my kitchen ceiling fan, replace a hallway dimmer switch and troubleshoot the light in my bathroom.  Jorge quoted me $190 to fix the wiring on the ceiling fan.  I felt $190 to check the wiring was excessive.  I paid $150 to have it installed.  When I asked him to check the other jobs he told me it would be $390.  I told him $390 was too much to fix the wiring on a ceiling fan, replace a dimmer switch and check the light fixture in my bathroom.  He then told me he didn't want to have anything more to do with the job.  He said he was only sent to fix the ceiling fan.  I showed him the text message I sent Eddie with pictures of the dimmer switch and bathroom light.  He told me he wasn't aware of the other jobs and wasn't going to be my errand boy and go get the parts I needed.  He told me if I wasn't happy I should take it up Eddie.  I paid him $100 for the work he did to the ceiling fan and was extremely upset by the time he left.  I wouldn't want anyone else to ever experience how dismissive Jorge treated me.  Jorge customer service was HORRIBLE!.

These guys came and installed my track lights in no time, leaving very few wholes to patch. They're always available when you reach them and will come by for any job at a very reasonable price. I've had them over three times already...

Marvin and his team showed up on time, were very friendly, and had the job finished within an hour. We needed to install track lighting in an office addition that didn't have an electrical plate in the ceiling yet. They showed up with all the equipment and supplies on hand and had it installed and working with no mess or complications. They also were able to come next day which was very helpful for us. Will definitely be calling them for our future electrical needs.

I wish every business in LA had people that were as skilled, efficient and professional as the guys at MCe3.  Because of two worn out breakers, all of my kitchen outlets were not working and my fridge/freezer was not getting power.  It was Sunday (yesterday) and most local companies were closed, including MCe3, but the owner Marvin still responded to my message and within 24 hours I had an appointment!  Three guys showed up that really could not have been nicer or more courteous.  In a few minutes they had identified and explained the problem and fortunately had spare replacement breakers in their truck.  The pricing was very fair and overall I'm extremely happy with the experience - will definitely be using them again!

Called to have the work of a previous electrician reviewed and for the installation of a direct line for the AC. The team from MC=e3 responded to my call within 30 minutes. Gave me a time range that they would visit my home, and was on time. Then the staff examined the prior work completed, and discuss the required work (inc. time for installation and follow-up steps). Very easy to deal with, honest and speedy and followed up to ensure no issues later the same day.

Just one quick phone call to Marvin to describe my electrical needs.  Marvin came out to take a look at what I needed done and boom Eddie and Jorge were at my house bright and early Monday morning.  In fact, they were early.  They got straight to work, explained everything they were doing, verified everything, had time for all my questions and last but not least they put down drop cloths AND swept up when they were done!!  The price was great and they even stuck around to make sure I was all set up with my new system and everything was working 100%.  All 3 of them are very professional.  Their work was excellent as they were able to install without tearing up my textured wall.  Thanks Yelp reviewers!  I am definitely going to use MC=e3 Electric again and I highly recommend them!!

I am giving a 2 star review because they did show up on short notice to an emergency situation. However, I have used many electricians and the price they charged was double the amount I was expecting. Because I had no luck finding another electrician on short notice I hired MC Electric, I feel they took advantage of an emergency situation by charging such an outrageous price.

This is the company to work with if you need an electrician in the LA area. Half my lights began flickering and then stopped working completely. My husband and I hired Marvin and his team after discovering some significant electrical issues with our new house. His team quickly and efficiently replaced old wiring, upgraded the electrical box and coordinated the permits with LADWP.

From the very first phone call we made to Marvin all the way through to the final inspection, we were impressed with every member of the team. Everyone was professional, responsive and always pleasant despite some very warm, long days outside and other challenges. Marvin helped a potentially overwhelming process feel manageable and we're extremely happy with the final outcome. Marvin was quick to respond and told me when his earliest availability would be for the afternoon. He showed up to my house exactly when he said he would and even gave me a heads up when he was getting close. He was very friendly and explained all of the electrical issues that I didn't understand. He didn't rush through anything and patiently addressed all my concerns.

Marvin gave me an estimate for what the work would cost and I told him I needed to think about it before committing. A couple days later I let him know that I wanted to have the work done. Marvin was fantastic working with me to find a convenient time... I only had a few windows of time that workd for me. In order to expedite the amount of time the work was going to take, he ended up bringing three other guys over and got the whole thing done in a couple of hours!

Overall, I'm very happy with Marvin's work. He has pride in what he does and the knowledge to back it up. Perhaps most important of all, he seems to be a very honorable and trustworthy guy so you don't have to worry about him trying to squeeze extra money out of you.

Next time I have an electrical problem, I'll be calling Marvin Cute. Also, yes, his last name is Cute.

Marvin just finished adding a circuit to our garage after he came out to repair a broken GFI outlet last week. He was prompt, courteous, fast and left no sign that he and his associate had been here but for a brand new circuit that looks like it came with the house.

This is my first Yelp review. I try to avoid Yelp for a lot of reasons, I don't really agree with how they bully some companies into paying for better exposure on their website.

Having said that, Marvin asked me very kindly if I would give him a review, and since he was great to us, I agreed instantly. Marvin drove out today to look at some electrical issues we've been having. He was right on time, had an amazing attitude, and gave us a summary of our problem + a quote, free of charge. (Which, btw, the quote was very modest. His prices are very reasonable and honest, he isn't trying to gouge people.)

Overall, very happy with my experience with him today. I look forward to hiring him for some work in the next couple of weeks.

Life doesn't always have to be difficult. I was already reeling from having electric work done and still having problems from said work. This was months and finally I made a wise choice to look elsewhere. Enter Mc=e3 electric. I gave them a call Marvin answered swiftly and listened to what I said and gave a quick diagnosis. Maybe an hour or two later he had Eddie and another fellow who's name escapes me, arrive at my door. They were just as friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. Not even an hour later the problem  was identified and fixed! Running wire, new circuit and a price so competitive I'm sure you won't find anywhere else. My only problem is that it took me so long to reach out to this company. There's misconceptions about small businesses but these guys are the real deal and stand by their work. I would say take a chance on them if you have any electrical issues, but you're not taking a chance with mc=e3 electric you're making a decision that will leave you results you want and need.

Marvin and Eddie are great.  They recently put in a outlet so we could mount a tv, added wiring so we can add wall sconces, and replaced a receiver in our ceiling fan.  For the TV outlet they asked lots of questions so it would be set up perfectly.  They work very efficiently and are extremely neat insisting on cleaning everything up.  Marvin also responds promptly and squeezed me in when needed.  I highly recommend him and will use him again!

I called MC=e3 Electric to install a 220v outlet so that I could schedule the delivery of a new appliance. I chose MC=E3 Electric randomly through my local electrical wholesaler and was pleasantly surprised by their efficient, tidy and very reasonably priced work.  Marvin and his crew installed some vintage light fixtures and ran a new circuit/outlet from the breaker panel in our office. As a creative studio, we were very impressed by MC=E3's ability to adapt to our busy but quiet working environment and cause the least disruption we could have hoped for.

I was so impressed that I had Marvin and crew come back this week to install some additional light fixtures.  Again, even with a meeting going on, they did the job quickly, quietly and at a great price.

I adore Marvin. He was super helpful today when he came to look at an electrical project that I was working on myself. After diagnosing the problem and figuring out the solution he gave me step by step instructions for how to do the work. He even left me with a wago connector to help me complete the project!

He was super nice and really supportive! Most electricians would guilt you in to hiring them to do the work. But he told me I was on the right track and I knew exactly what I was doing. I would definitely hire MC=E3 for future projects that are out of my wheel house!

These guys are GREAT. I called Marvin, and he came out the next day. He and his polite, professional, friendly crew relocated the wiring in my walls that the contractor had screwed up. They got the work done really quickly The walls turned out to be made of concrete instead of drywall, but Marvin didn't complain or raise his prices. Nicest, most helpful electricians I've ever used! Helped me with 3 projects and had knowledge about why things weren't working and what to do to prevent it happening next time. Marvin explained everything to me so clearly and specifically. He was conscientious of costs and of making sure my home was cleaned up when they were done. Seriously - NICEST GUYS! Marvin came out to my apartment to look at piping an outdoor outlet across my yard for me to plug in my electric car.  He came out one day to get an assessment of the work to be done and to test a few sockets to see which would be the best to pull the power off of and provide me an estimate.  The estimate was more than I was willing to spend on an apartment that I am only renting so I did not proceed with the install, but he did not charge me for coming out for an estimate.  Very honest and reasonable pricing, thorough breakdown of labor and materials.  Marvin is a very affable guy and seems like a great guy to work with and really seemed like he knows his trade and can explain it simply so you understand.  I would recommend  him to anyone in the area looking for electrician services!

MARVIN IS THE BEST!!!!!

We've done quite a few things with him to our home so I feel as though I have a good sense of his work at this point. Marvin loves his job, and you can tell when he cares about giving you the best options for your home. We put new lighting all in our backyard, and he described various options, which is helpful when you pretty much have no idea what to do. He even added a light free of charge, because he thought we would enjoy it.

He is extremely flexible and available to make something happen for you if you are in a crunch time-wise. He is also very quick to respond on text, which shows how efficient he is.

AGAIN, MARVIN IS THE BEST!!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Marvin was prompt.  He saw my outlet he told me there was nothing he could do for me because it was beyond repair.  He then took my $50 as a consulting fee and said he would send me an estimate to rewire my entire house.  I called another electrician, who promptly FIXED the outlet that Marvin said was beyond repair.  So, even though Marvin was prompt and nice, I felt cheated by him since he not only failed to fix my problem, but he also took my money and made me feel like I would need him for a bigger job in my home.  All in all, it felt kind of snaky.

I think companies like this are what this era of Yelp is all about.  Marvin is experienced and knowledgeable, plus he and his assistant Eddie are very pleasant and gregarious.  I had an EMF issue, which are not easy to troubleshoot, and Marvin was very patient and tried several things to save me money, while explaining the more expensive options should I elect to pursue them

It's clear that Marvin, knows his stuff.  He tracked down wiring issues in the very old building I live in and placed appropriate attention on areas that could be remedied without much guesswork.  

Communication was quick and efficient. I reached out via text and we simply scheduled a time to visit.  He arrived on time, I was a bit late, and no hassle, lets check out the problem.  No attitude.  Very professional.

They showed up the same day as my call bought what they needed and were back the next work day to finish the job. What can I say that is different from what is here?

Marvin is reliable, easy to work with, does the job, reasonably priced.  

He even came back the next day to re-install a new light fixture which I had exchanged (at the big box home improvement store) because it was faulty.

We have been customers of Marvin Cute for over 10 years.  His work has always been top quality at a fair price.  In addition to great service,  Marvin has given us tons of great advice about upgrading the electrical in our 1940s home. Today Marvin put in a dedicated circuit for our portable air conditioner which kept tripping the circuit breaker.  He arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner.  Not only does the new circuit work beautifully, Marvin managed to make it aesthetically appealing. AND, Marvin and his associate cleaned up all the debris from the job.  It doesn't get much better than that! Used Marvin and his team a couple of times, first time was for a panel upgrade, my panel was from the middle ages and poorly executed as well, but he came in and killed it, it was fast and clean and the new panel looks amazing!!

Second time I had an emergency, called him last minute for a huge job and he came through again, on time, super clean, worked fast and helped me out of a big pickle!!

He's a great guy and his team is awesome too and he's definitely our go-to guy!!

THE BEST ELECTRICIANS IN LA HANDS DOWN!! I was having trouble with my outlet needing to be converted for my dryer. They called Home Depot for me to speak with customer service to see which amps and outlet I needed. They arrived on time and completed the job in less than 45 minutes. Marvin is who you need to call! He was polite and professional on the phone and was able to schedule us for the next business day. We needed some work in the kitchen, outlets not up to code, he was very knowledgable, fast and affordable. He arrived on time and had all the necessary equipment in his truck. We've had problems in the past with our older home, from now on I will call Marvin for all of our electrical issues/fixes. It's always a nerve-wracking process to find a highly skilled person to come into your home for assessments and repairs, someone you can trust, etc., we've all been there! Loved the service I got from this gentleman. Our business's building is very old and the circuitry is very old too. I had improperly wired a switch on my own - and ended up frying it and several other outlets/devices on the circuit.  Time to call the pros.  Marvin and Jorge were here within 90 minutes and quickly fixed everything for a fair price.  Friendly, straightforward and professional, I really couldn't ask for anything more.  Good guys, won't hesitate to call again.

Marvin is great. He came in and diagnosed our problem in a small apartment within a couple of minutes. Instead of pushing for a costly repair, he explained why it might be best to just let it be. For the five minute consultation, I offered to pay a little something for their time, but Marvin said to not worry about it. Very cool. I will definitely be calling him again next time there's a problem.

Marvin was a  huge help in fixing my kitchen lights. He scheduled an appointment with me right away and spotted the problem as soon as he came in. I had the pleasure of meeting Marvin and his crew today. First of all I have to start by saying that it's really hard finding a good company through just searching reviews and I recently had a bad experience with a company that actually had 5 star reviews. However, from the first few minutes of meeting Marvin I was convinced that I finally found the type of electrician I was looking for. Marvin was very enthusiastic and thorough in diagnosing the problem, explaining everything, and then giving me a very reasonable quote. He was honest and even gave me advice on how to save money where I can. Another plus was how easy it was to schedule a meeting and communication was quick. We still have more work to be done, but so far the whole process has been great. I can finally say I have a go-to electrician for anything that comes up in the future!

Easy fast painless repairs on my old condo's electrical outlets.  These guys were easy to schedule, great communicators, on time, clean, strong (we had to move some furniture to get to an outlet), and reliable.  I would recommend them to any of my friends and neighbors.  They gave me lot of good tips too for living with the outlets that I have.  I paid a fair price, the transaction was simple, and the estimates were right on.  I'd be happy to use them in the future.

Very honest, friendly and professional! You might get to pay hundreds for lighting fixtures and GFI outlets or thousands for AC control monitor because some other electricians might say you HAVE TO change them, but Marvin will actually tell you what are necessary and what are not and they give you reasonable price. Anyone who needs an inspection or repair should call this company and give them a try.

Marvin stopped by inspected my home and did an extremely thorough job. First off, the guy showed up 10 minutes before our scheduled time which is a bonus in my book. He educated me on every step of the way, showed me all the issues with the house and the poor craftsmanship of the prior electrician.  Besides being super knowledgable at his job, he is super friendly guy. He said he would send out the inspection report in under 24 hours and kept his word. I highly recommend Marvin Cute's mc=e3 Electric.

I have been working in the restaurant industry in Los Angeles for several years now and I have always struggled to find a reliable and honest electrician to rely on.  That was until I found MC=E3.  

Marvin and his guys came in and did fantastic work for me at a very reasonable cost.  His overall attitude and approach to the job was extremely professional and kind.  Quite refreshing for once.
 
I called him yesterday about an issue I had with a socket in my dining room and he came out that day and fixed it before we opened our doors.  Unheard of in LA.

Eddie and George came to my mom's condo right on time yesterday, and spent nearly two hours troubleshooting a short which tripped a breaker just flipping on a light switch. We had not done any work on her condo, but there are adjoining condo units above, below and side, so perhaps work on a neighbor's unit had somehow touched her wires. Every possibility was investigated leaving only the next step of opening the wall and/or ceiling.  At that point, what we expected to be a small job would become much bigger and more costly.  Mom said she could live without those lights for now, and we decided to just leave the light switch disconnected and put it back, with the cause still a mystery.  I expected to owe them for the house call anyway, but to my surprise they told me that since they didn't fix it we didn't owe them anything.  That alone earns them 5 stars, but also because they were very thorough and knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves too.

Marvin and his assistant Eddie are fantastic. We needed a lot of work done on our exterior lighting and Marvin solved every problem we inherited from the previous homeowner and explained everything clearly along the way. He replaced a transformer, rewired nearly a dozen lights, repaired a motion sensor, and installed two Wemo switches to allow us to control our lights online. He worked promptly around our schedule and did the work over three appointments that were convenient for us. His prices are very reasonable. He is definitely the man to call. Thanks, Marvin!

Marvin came out the same day I called him and gave me an honest quote to run new wiring and a breaker for a gas furnace. He came out the next day to do the job in less time than quoted and his work is very clean. I highly recommend him - also a nice guy to deal with!
