I am so happy I found Alex & Alex!  I needed a new outlet, wire, and breaker for my new dryer.  Unfortunately, the Best Buy people failed to notice that I had the wrong outlet even though I brought pictures of the plugs from my old washer and dryer to the store.  I wasn't told that I had the wrong outlet until the first attempt at delivery of my new washer and dryer.  I was able to call Alex & Alex on Saturday and get an appointment for Monday morning.  (Such a relief because I set up a new delivery for Wednesday!)  The electricians were very nice, on time, and efficient.  They patched up the one hole they needed to make in my wall neatly and did not leave a mess at all.  My washer and dryer got delivered and are working without a problem.  Thank you Alex!

I needed an old light fixture removed, and a new one installed in my hallway at home. It was a pretty simple job.  My ceiling is about 9 ft. high, and the light fixture was small, about 7 in diameter.  I reached out to several electricians. Optimum was the first vendor to respond to my request for a quote (through Yelp).  They were also considerably less.  One company quoted $175-$275. Another told me that it would cost $200 to come out, but that would be applied to my bill.
The electricians (dad and son) arrived 15 min. early. They were pleasant and friendly.  We joked about family and grandkids. Everything was done in about 20 min.  
Next time I need an electrician I will be contacting these gentlemen.

We all know how hard it is to find good technicians and electricians. These guys (especially Val) are an absolute gem. Timely, honest, and highly skilled experts. I used them to install a chandelier, repair a light switch, and repair recessed lighting. Their estimates are extremely competitive, if not lower than most, and yet they do not compromise on service whatsoever. From start to finish, everything was seamless. Val insisted on disposing the large cardboard box that my chandelier came in and cleaning the styrofoam off the floor. When one of the bulbs that came with the chandelier wasn't working (thanks, RH Modern), Val kindly offered to come by the next day to bring me a replacement bulb. You don't expect this level of Rolls-Royce service from electricians, but these guys deliver. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them and will call on them for all my electrical needs.

Everyone at Zenith is very nice and professional. We first hired them to replace an old fuse. Then we called them back to update the whole fuse box and update our under-the-cabinet-lights to LED. They did the second job within three days and remained professional the entire time. We will call them in the future if we have any other electrical issues. We definitely recommend this company to anyone with electrical issues.

I initially called Nathan of Madison Electric on a Friday afternoon after calling to arrange for an alarm system to be installed and being informed of electrical requirements of the alarm system.  We had just had early morning prowlers at our bedroom windows the prior night, so were anxious for the alarm to be installed.  Nathan was concerned and willing to have the job done as quickly as possible.  He and his workers were there Monday morning! After giving me a good price, the work began.  He and his workers were so polite, efficient, industrious, respectful and responsible.  They wore socks inside and cleaned up after themselves.  After recent renovations, one bedroom can light wasn't working properly.  The connection was tightened, and my dimmers were adjusted so that light was no longer glaring at night.  They were so very helpful, and I really appreciated that.  I am so grateful that such a polite, professional, industrious,personable, and  conscientious contractor is in our area, and I have YELP to thank for our finding him.  I will definitely call him for electrical work in the future.

MH Electric ran 220 out to my garage for a piece of specialty equipment and did a great job. Everything works as requested.

These guys are amazing. They practically saved my house from burning down due to faulty wiring. While they were working and the power was shut off, they went to go get ice for my fridge so my food didn't go bad. Seriously incredible service, will be my go-to for any issues from now on.

Yeah, if you have an electrical issue, call these guys.

We had a recurring issue with our kitchen appliances that turned out to be due to a problem with the wiring. We got a referral from a friend to another company who had a great rating on Yelp, and called them for an estimate. We were told we needed an entire house re-wire and that it would take 8-10 days and cost $15k+.

I immediately started looking for a second opinion, and after an extremely unpleasant phone call with a different well-reviewed company, I called All In One.

Stuart came out as quickly as he could and gave me an honest assessment of the situation. He let me know that it was possible that the underlying problem could be resolved fairly easily but there was no way to know without doing a lot more exploring, and that it could turn out that it would be a somewhat bigger job. I really appreciated that he was honest in saying there's no way to know rather that just guessing. He told me how much it would cost to find out more, and a rough estimate of how much it was likely to be given the two potential outcomes. None of it involved a complete rewire or was anywhere near the cost we'd been quoted previously. He also went ahead and fixed the immediate issue right on the spot so we could resume using our kitchen appliances. You immediately get the sense with Stuart that he's not interested in BS or just telling anyone what they want to hear, and he knows his stuff.

Jorge and Ryan came to do the work, and thankfully it turned out to be the easier solution we were hoping for. After their initial investigation, they called Stuart and then let me know exactly how much it would be to complete the job. It actually came in less than the original guesstimate he gave me.

Jorge and Ryan were fantastic. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves which you may know is a rarity when it comes to having work done in your home. I would have them back any time. Three and a half hours later I have a fully functional kitchen and the underlying problem has been fixed, which also solved several other minor issues we didn't even know were related.

We're planning to have a few new outlets and switches installed in the near future, and will definitely be calling All In One to do it. My experience has only been with these three guys plus the lovely lady who scheduled the appointment, but I'm guessing that all of Stuart's employees are as great as they were.

We needed a few light fixtures replaced, so I decided to try BK Electric because of their great yelp reviews. They were very responsive and able to schedule an appointment the next day. Aldo and Kevin were friendly and professional and got everything done even faster than expected. The prices were reasonable and they were clear about the costs upfront. I'm very happy with how things turned. I'd definitely recommend them.

Scott and Louie were amazing!  They were prompt, so nice and up front with their rates.  They replaced an exterior light fixture and looked at two other fixtures that were running dim. They fixed everything and it all looks great.  I highly recommend West LA Electric and will be calling them for all of my electrical needs.

UPDATE: Is there any way to give these guys an extra star?? When my lights were flickering after installation, Vartan and Nishan came right away and replaced the switch for me. No more flickering, plus they gave me some excellent advice and suggestions for some other electrical questions I had around the house. All in all, they are my new go to electricians. Thank you so much, East West Electrical!

Original posting: I have to say as a new homeowner I'm very happy I found Vartan to install six recessed lights for me in my living room. They were punctual, beyond friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything they were doing. The price was unbeatable and more than that it just feels good to know there's someone who I can trust to do additional electrical work should the need arise. Thank you Vartan!

This review is long overdue. I had penna electric clean up my decades old electricity to my garage.

Bottom line. I got a fair quote within a week. He matched a $50 lower quote for the same job. His workers were at the house within a week and finished in one day. They were polite and cleaned everything. Also did some patch work where necessary.

I am glad I found Penna and will be calling them exclusively for all my future projects.

Joel did such an amazing, CLEAN job installing 4 exterior light fixtures without existing wires and a nest doorbell. He was responsive, very clear in his communication, and arrived on time. I shopped around multiple electricians who wanted to open MULTIPLE holes in the wall and did not include patching. But Joel managed to find a smart and elegant solution to the problem--leaving zero holes to patch! His approach was the most sensible and efficient compared to the 4 electricians I consulted.  HIGHLY recommend Joel and his team! Will be reaching out to him for any future electrical needs.

I called today, and a few hours later our problem was fixed! We were so happy, because 3 other electricians flaked on us prior to this. We def would use B&K again!

Very happy I found Eduardo and his team at Blueprint Electric. He was very responsive, and detailed. We talked for a few days before I made a decision because I was also obtaining other bids. He circled back when he said he would. The install of our Tesla wall connector was very clean. The majority of the run in our homes crawl space. I look forward to working with him on our panel upgrade and our future JADU.

He did a great job replacing two fuses and solving a mystery with one wall of outlets. We feel so much better that things are updated and properly installed.

The estimates we received from Hector was not the lowest, however, it was very competitive, reasonable, and the best detailed quotes, including patching which most wouldn't even want to touch. We also chose Hector because his Yelp reviews were most recent.

I liked his crew even more. Very down to earth, harding working, professional, courteous, patient, and all around smiles when you're throwing fits on a stressful day. Their clean up afterwards makes it look like no one was ever here. He must be treating them well, including his apprentice.

Even though installing recess lights isn't rocket science to general electricians, but a lot of labor on vaulted ceilings, the minimal damage they had done to the wall, in minimal time, AND the follow up work was what impressed me over. I fully endorse and recommend Got Light Electric~

Yuri was absolutely great.  I couldnt open my electric gate to get off the property on a recent Sat. morning.  I looked up reviews for my area on Yelp since I am new to the area and picked him due to the great reviews - glad I did.  He could tell I was stressed out from this and was over in less than an hour.  He figured out what was wrong on a large property in less than an hour.  I would definitely use him again for a problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Cesar and his crew are the best!!   My husband hired The EV Guys to install our Tesla plug in the garage because of his 5 star ratings.  They did not disappoint! They were so quick, efficient and professional I hired them to do a much larger job at another property.  I had many changes and Cesar was so patient and courteous.  We really appreciate The EV Guys so much!
