Best Wiring Installation in Austin TX

I just sent Chris and Eliot out the door, and--as usual--they made life better while they were in my home. From Sherry who answers the phone to Chris or whoever comes out in the call, these people are running their business the way I wish everyone would. They have never let me down once in all the years I've used them, in three different homes. It's so unusual to place a service call and start feeling less stressed the minute I dial the number, but that's what happens when I dial Malco. Every time.

I have a couple of breakers which tripped randomly. I knew it wasn't because of overloading, and I had seen neighbors mentioning similar issue on the Nextdoor app. I was a little worried it could be tricky to fix. James came to our house, and he diagnosed the problem quickly. He even suggested alternative solutions so I could save some money on the repair. James was friendly and professional. I am happy with Texas Electrical Services and will call them when I need help from electricians again.

Grazer came to our house first time and Victor and Tod did an excellent job for recess lighting ( high ceiling 20ft+). Very pleased with the service and professionalism of the guys . Did a thorough cleanup after the work. We also got the chandelier change in our foyer which needed scaffolding. Overall a 5 star service.

Only con : appointment is always 3-4 weeks out so you gotta plan in advance .

It is rare to find someone who will actually explain what they are doing and what most likely is causing your problem.  I was very impressed with Thomas and his level of expertise!   He was able to swap out a bad circuit at a very reasonable price.  We've had a difficult time finding good service here in Lago Vista or finding anyone who will come out this way, but I was extremely impressed and will use Thomas again for any electrical issues I have. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable.

Went back to Dustin after his excellent work. This time I needed an outdoor light installed, as well as a couple of switches and a new outlet. All the work was perfect and he even came back by to check on things for me after the work was done a few days later. Highly recommended!

The guys from Brightside were awesome.   We replaced 4 outdoor fans and installed a new kitchen light.  They were on time and went to work immediately.  I have another light that we will install in a couple of weeks and will definitely use them again.

The most important thing in choosing who you work with is trust/expertise and Scott not only provides a palpable level of trust through his knowledge and education throughout the diagnostic and repair work he does, but you get the sense that he truly cares as an empathetic person, too.

He cares about your safety, your home, proper maintenance, that you understand why some things are the way they are. He does this in a natural and comfy way, not man-splain, not deep electrician lingo that leaves you confused - just straight shooter that's thorough, knowledgable, there to help you and at a really really fair rate.

I will never need nor want to look beyond Scott for my electrical needs and this must be the cornerstone of his successful business.

I'm so glad I didn't take up one of the more readily available electricians, and waited for the one who seemed invested, knowledgable and trustworthy.

Raymond responded to my quote request within literally a minute or two, knew exactly what to ask to determine what they needed in order to quote the job properly, and offered me a same-day appointment for the installation! This company really seems to have their stuff together. I will update this response following the work being completed

I used Tomei Electric to change the circuit breaker.  Todd was very responsive and not only did the work quickly and efficiently, but also did other non-urgent but important work as well.  Price was really reasonable.
Highly recommended!

Rosalinda, the boss's wife just emailed me a copy of a really old invoice and then called me and accused me of not paying an invoice from work that was done a year and a half ago. I told her I pay all my bills immediately. She asked well how did you pay us then? I said I don't remember. She has the audacity to reply with an attitude You don't remember? Like I am stupid or something for not remembering something that happened a year and a half ago! Do you remember what you ate for lunch 2 weeks ago? Exactly. Like it's my job to keep receipts for years and years and know off the top of my head how I paid every single vendor in the last two years.

Word of advice if you use these people, make sure you pay them by check, and keep a copy of that check forever. Because Rosalinda may call you two to three years later talking 'bout you owe us money!  

And guess what? If you don't have proof you paid her she can easily put a lien on your house until you finally pay her for something you already paid her for.

Wow! When Austin Energy came out to replace my electric meter they immediately shut my power off and flagged the meter box as being unsafe. In 2015 ATT UVerse had hit a transformer on my lawn and the meter box had been damaged during Austin Energy's 7 hours of excavation that went into the night.
I used Yelp, bypassed the sponsored results (sorry, Yelp), and called Ratpor at 11:33 am, based on the consistently positive feedback here.
I sent Luis photos and he worked all day with me as well as with Austin Energy, got the necessary permits, was willing to loan me a generator for the night as it looked like all the work and red tape would stretch till tomorrow. But the guys were great and waited for Austin Energy to wrap up together. When the power came on at 5:28 pm, I was ecstatic and Luis and I were hyped on SMS I'm so glad for you! He still has some permit work tomorrow, let me know that he would take care of it as it would likely go smoothly.
I guess this sounds like a recommendation.

We sent some work requests out for a bit of a unique situation. Twin Oaks Electric was the only place that responded in a way that showed they paid attention to our request. The team came out and came up with an even better solution than what we had originally discussed. If we ever need electrical work done in the future, we're going to call Twin Oaks first.

We used Avery Electrical Services to replace an old light fixture in our home. They were awesome. Travis responded to my inquiry quickly, they came on time, and were able to get the new fixture up in no time. They were extremely professional and awesome to deal with. We'll definitely be using them again!

Shine on had great reviews and I decided to hire them for what I considered a quick and easy job.

Jon came and provided me with a free estimate which was what I was expecting to pay and hired him on the spot. I had an appointment scheduled the following week, which was today As I write this.

He and his son came out and fixed an outlet which kept tripping And confirmed I did not need to increase the wattage in my breaker box. He quickly added a new outlet in another room which was needed for another remodel in my home I am having done while my contractor was I stalling tile.

They were very quick, in and out. Communication was also great. I would definitely hire again, and I believe I know what project I have them tackle for me.

Handyman came to my door, within 10 hours of my request and had a bathroom light fixture completely replaced and cleaned up within one hour. He was very transparent the entire time. He is also a very personable and respectful guy. He advised me on three other projects, which will ultimately save us 100's of dollars. Ask him how he got the name HandyMan Dan. He was teaching me how to hang light fixtures in the future and sent me youtube videos that will teach me how to replace a hot water cartridge. 5 stars, all the way. If you don't go with Handyman Dan, you are dumb. If the other people had a problem with the service or price, then they either don't get the biz, or they just weren't honest enough to ask him right away.

Despite not being physically on site, they took the time to thoroughly understand my problem, diagnosed the issue, and walked me through how to resolve the issue safely myself.

Stay away from Salt Light & Electric! They wanted to charge me more than $6,000 for a new electric panel, which would not have solved my problem. Fortunately I found another honest electrician who discovered the problem was a lack of connection on the city's power side. Final cost to me $0 after Austin Electric replaced the connections on their end. Unfortunately, I had already paid Salt Electric more than $300 to check my power outlets on their first trip, which did nothing to resolve the problem. Salt's annual membership fee to obtain a lower price for services also is a huge red flag.
