Best Wiring Repair in Austin TX
Excellent service department that runs outside of the listed hours and on weekends/holidays for an extra fee. Was put on the schedule and they were able to get to me within 24rs.

I have been so impressed with Grayzer. We needed someone to come fix inspection issues after buying a house and I called a few electricians first. One was extremely rude and acted like I was an idiot for asking a few questions, and the others took so long to respond. The folks at Grayzer wrote back within 10 minutes of me sending my inspection report with explanations of each issue and price estimates so we could adequately determine which were imminent and which we could wait on. Today the technician who came out was extremely knowledgable, quick and kind. He took the time to explain things to me and took extra time to do two things that weren't on the inspection report. We can truly sleep so much better knowing our home has been looked at by such a professional and the electric work is safer. The cost was even several hundred than we had budgeted for! We will absolutely be calling them for all our electric needs- I was beyond impressed.

What an awesome experience we had with Darin Maxwell and Duncan from Max Electrical Services. Responsive to our first call, a very fair estimate, on-time arrival, efficient, professional work and, best of all, a genuine, down-to-earth personality. We were so impressed. We highly recommend Darin and Max Electrical Services!

After seeing his yelp reviews, I had my husband call Russell Electric to set up an appointment and have them come take a look at our electrical issue. Our bathroom GFI has tripped almost daily for a good year now. It's incredibly annoying, as our downstairs bathroom and both upstairs bathrooms are on the same GFI. If we were upstairs when it tripped, we had to go downstairs to reset it. He advised my husband to simply go to home depot and buy a $16 GFI and replace it. He said in all likelihood, this would resolve our issue, as once GFIs trip a few times, they tend to stop working correctly and continually trip. I only wish we had called sooner. Our issue is fixed. Thanks for the awesome free advice Russell Electric :)

They did a great job with my EV charger install. They were quick, honest, fairly priced, and did great work. They installed 2 outlets that required drilling a hole through an exterior wall. The work was done professionally and it looks great.

EXCELLENT electrician and service. On time for every appointment, honest, reasonably priced and a great problem solver. My outside electrical wireing had some shorts somewhere in the yard and they found the problem and fixed quite quickly. I had previously used different electricians and they wouldn't put in the effort to fix and of course charged me a service fee. Call Dustin :)

I recommend Brightside.
Jon is honest and responsive. A lot of the electricians I contacted seemed intimidated or hesitant to take on our electrical remodel. They weren't prepared for the walkthrough, didn't take notes, and never got back to me or just padded their quote to the sky to make up for their lack of good estimation and cover their misses.
Jon promptly came on site and walked through the proposal and asked appropriate questions. He got back to me with a very detailed quote at a competitive price within 24 hours.
After the project, his invoice was equally detailed and accurate.
He's going to be able to deal with your electrical work; but the things above set him apart from the vast majority of electricians you'll encounter in the Austin area--and contractors in general. Particularly if you have a big job, these aspects of the job are much more important than most homeowners realize. Don't underestimate them, go with Brightside.

I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Scott was very friendly and professional. I appreciate that both he and his assistant wore masks and even vacuumed up the dust left behind after replacing a fixture in my office space!
Other things I really appreciated: 1) Scott took time to explain and show me what the issue was. It's important to me as a homeowner to learn and be aware for future reference, and it also helps me understand the cost(s) of repair. I knew they were busy, so it meant a lot that they took that time. 2) The impending winter storm ended up changing their schedule somewhat. I appreciate that Scott did his best to get my appointment in before everything shut down, and he was great about communicating that change.
Overall, I'm more than satisfied with the work and with the experience. I have an older home and hope I can use Bear Electric for more projects in the future.

I had a old chandelier that I needed to have replaced with an upgraded one and I hired the Lion Group for the job. They removed the old one without a hitch and informed me about its condition in case of future installation in the future. The new chandelier had tons of crystals and lights that they painstakingly installed with care. I was also consulted on the chain length so it would not be too low nor to high for my taste. Lastly, they swept the area thoroughly and offered to take out all of the boxing from the new chandelier as a courtesy.
Overall, these guys were top notch to work with and I look forward to hiring them for future projects.

Todd was very responsive and friendly. He came over 1 hour after I called him for help replaced our 3-way smart home switches on a Saturday afternoon. Super helpful!

Rosalinda, the boss's wife just emailed me a copy of a really old invoice and then called me and accused me of not paying an invoice from work that was done a year and a half ago. I told her I pay all my bills immediately. She asked well how did you pay us then? I said I don't remember. She has the audacity to reply with an attitude You don't remember? Like I am stupid or something for not remembering something that happened a year and a half ago! Do you remember what you ate for lunch 2 weeks ago? Exactly. Like it's my job to keep receipts for years and years and know off the top of my head how I paid every single vendor in the last two years.
Word of advice if you use these people, make sure you pay them by check, and keep a copy of that check forever. Because Rosalinda may call you two to three years later talking 'bout you owe us money!
And guess what? If you don't have proof you paid her she can easily put a lien on your house until you finally pay her for something you already paid her for.

Just had Alejandro from Raptor Electrical out to take care of a number of electrical issues we'd been experiencing in our home. I contacted them this morning and since all of their guys were out and I was flexible, they'd send someone when available between jobs. Two hours later, Alejandro was here and we were going through each of the items on my list.
He addressed two issues with lighting in our master bath and closet, replaced a vent fan in another bathroom, and we discussed another panel breaker issue.
The price for their services were very fair and reasonable and Alejandro took the time to talk through the causes of some of the issues we were having and made complete sense. That educational aspect provided was just amazing and greatly appreciated!
Will definitely be the first company I call or recommend for any electrical needs in the future! Already added to my Yelp bookmarks after this first experience!

Had a very good experience with Texas Electrical Connect.
They quoted and contacted through text. They came in and did a great job for a fair/low price.
They came back with a special part without any additional charges or back-and-forth and sent a photo of the completed job.

We had been having trouble with half our house randomly losing power. I contacted Twin Oaks Electric and they quickly diagnosed the issue (see pic) without needing to come out or, unlike any other business, charging a fee to do it. Oncor came out and confirmed their diagnosis. We were able to set up a time and they finished the job quickly. Very pleased and I would highly recommend them.

Avery electrical service are amazing. Travis and Alex were awesome to deal with. They were quick to respond and help troubleshoot my problem before I even committed to having them repair my problem. They helped me out in a pinch when I had an emergency. Genuine people, great work and competitive pricing. They will be my go to for any future electrical needs. If you go with Avery electrical services you will not be disappointed. Thank a lot Travis and Alex!!!

Jon and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the initial estimate to completion, Shine On was communicative, honest, and quick to get everything done. On top of it all, the price was competitive and reasonable.
I'd highly recommend Shine On Electric to anyone and will gladly use them for future services!

Dan demonstrates a very high level of integrity about his craftsmanship that I don't see much of these days. He's a great guy -- affable, knowledgeable, punctual, respectful, and above all, honest. He cares a great deal about getting the job (even very small jobs that other contractors might deem unworthy) done right. And if he is unable to do a particular job in question, he will be honest with you about it rather than trying to do a shoddy job just for the money. His speedy turnaround time and the fact that he himself does the work (rather than sending out a subcontractor) is greatly appreciated. We definitely will hire Dan again for future projects.

All Star Electric is the company I'm calling first for all my electrical needs. They recently fixed some outlet issues I was having, including replacing a receptacle; and I liked my whole interaction with them from the beginning to end.
After requesting multiple bids from Electricians, I found All Star Electric's prices to be the most straightforward. They are very responsive via Yelp and by phone. Adom answered all my questions in an approachable manner and was patient with me when I had no idea how to explain the issue I was having. He also shared some tips on how to conduct a basic troubleshoot for a different issue I was having which saved me a diagnostic test and fixed the minor problem.
Lastly, they provide military discounts. I'm always so impressed with businesses that offer military discounts, esp in Military City. May their business prosper 100 fold!

It is very difficult to get an electrician to even show up for an estimate in Austin when permitting is involved. Blame The City for that. I had several no shows and others that never followed up with an estimate. Hart not only showed up when they said they would, but followed up with a very reasonable estimate. They are a solid company.
