Best Ceiling Light Installation in Austin TX

I tried several times to get them to give me the estimate so I could schedule them for the work, but every time oh yeah sure we'll get that right out to you. Sorry every job isn't $900,000 house out in Westlake... at least have the decency to tell me you aren't interested.

Contacted him Friday night at 8pm about fridge issue. He responded with estimate in less than 10 minutes. It was a very fair price (and I am cheap) so I asked if he might be able to come out Sat. and he said that was not a problem at all.

He called when he was on the way and arrived 10 minutes before scheduled, we spoke about the issue for a few minutes and he went to work. He left for a part and came right back and completed the repair for the amount quoted and even included some additional work and left the extra parts. He is a true professional and works very well with his clients.

Thomas was truly a wonderful electrician. He came same day and within an hour of me calling. He was here for less than an hour and worked diligently to fix my issue. I can't say enough about Thomas. If you want a prompt, professional, licensed, and insured electrician, call Russell Electric.

Honest, trustworthy, reliable and reasonable! We had Bear Electric out to inspect our control panel and to repair some electrical issues in our older home. Both times we received stellar service and we will be using them for all of our electrical needs.

Duhon did a great job installing recessed lights for us.  I can't believe what an improvement the lights made for us.

First off I want to start off this review by saying Justin the owner of ATX lighting seems to be a very nice guy he was always respectful and seemed to be honest and upfront. My reasoning for this rating is because in the very beginning I told Justin that we had a limited amount of funds and I needed to know the total cost upfront. So we agreed on a set amount, I also like to state his guys were good guys, very respectful and professional. So we gave him half of the total amount upfront and agreed to pay the remaining when the project was completed, when they were almost done Justin came back to me and told me I needed to pay for materials now. I told him and reminded him of our discussion and that I thought it was unfair that he was now going to try and charge me for additional cost when we had agreed on a set amount, he stated this is the way it always works and I told him that that's not true.  
I told him this wasn't my first rodeo, I'm a retired maintenance  superintendent and handled many many contracts and never unless you had a submitted change order were you allowed to just pad the end of the bill, but I agreed to pay it.  I told him I was disappointed but I wanted to get the job completed, he then proceeded to tell me that he now was not going install the outdoor fan on our open patio because he was offended that I was accusing him of something which I never did, he also stated he didn't want to have to buy a special tool and the special tool that we talk about is just a long extended drill bit.  I just can't imagine an electrical contractor doesn't own one of these. His guys had already cut a hole in our ceiling but did not install the brackets or the wire, he did deduct that part off the bill. The only thing I can say if you do business with ATX lighting demand that everything is written out on the invoice. Because I can show you mine and nowhere on the invoice does it state that the price of materials will be added later.

Louis was awesome. very professional, on time. fair price. I will call him from now on for all my electric needs.

We were so thankful to have found Max, the owner of Twin Oaks Electric. He's is building a reputation for his company based on quality work and honesty - rather than trying to take advantage or cut corners. I spoke to at least 5 other electricians including the highest rated ones on Yelp. Max didn't use scare tactics the other companies did. From pictures I sent, one company told me I had to replace the whole electrical system ($10-20K!!!) before they'd install a dedicated outlet for my fried dishwasher. Another guy wanted me to pay his hourly rate for the estimate plus 30 min of travel time. Not Max! Instead of asking for pics, he came out RIGHT AWAY and gave a very reasonable quote that he stuck to. He doesn't charge unless he actually does work on your home. In addition to putting in our new outlets, he rewired our breaker box, solved a number of other issues, AND FIXED THE DISHWASHER we thought we had to replace.

Basically I was a huge snowball of anxiety until I found Max. He is very knowledgeable about older homes, he can shimmy in tight (and icky) attics and crawl spaces and he stayed on budget. He was willing to look at all our other little side projects and gave us a reasonable action plan ranked by priority. He's incredibly honest, responsive, courteous and makes everything feel easy, not overwhelming. It makes him a pleasure to work with. I'm so happy we found our family's electric company with Twin Oaks Electric.

I hired Dan to raise a very heavy low handing chandelier that required some ingenuity to accomplish. He was on time, knew what he was doing and very pleasant.  I would absolutely hire Dan again.

Got a few quotes for installing an EV charger in the garage. Different companies provided different solutions ranging from setting up a new 50A circuit from the main line on the other end of the house to pulling in the unused 30Amp dryer outlet. Homer's solution was much more simple to just pull it from the breaker box in the garage. He clarified that at night times when the usage is low, the rest of the house won't need much and I could likely safely pull 50Amp without tripping the breaker. And if I did, he said I could just use the charger at half power instead. Cost a fraction of what the others were quoting. He was able to get it all done the next day, took about 30mins.

Will update the review once I use the outlet for a few weeks.

Fantastic work and service by Steven. He arrived on time and worked around my schedule. He was very thorough yet efficient as he installed a ceiling fan for me with remote in less than an hour. I will hire him again for multiple jobs.

Paul helped me track down the root cause I was having with two of my outlets. After some troubleshooting, he was able to figure out there was a bad neutral wire connection in another outlet that I didn't even realize wasn't working. He fixed that outlet and that ended up fixing all of the other issues. He was able to get all of it done in an hour. Very friendly and easy to work with. He also showed up exactly when he said he would.

James came out today and replaced our outdated 1960's main electric panel. He does Top quality work! I'm 110% pleased with James's work. Very professional guy that does an outstanding job. While he was there I went ahead and got an estimate on the next job I have for him. He is my go-to guy from now on.

Called to make appointment as several of our sockets weren't working.  I tried all suggestions online to fix myself to no avail.  Instead of Lightning Electrical coming to the house, they spent 15 minutes on the phone having us troubleshoot, and their suggestions worked!  This saved us money.  I appreciate them very much and will now call them when I have another electrical issue.  Thanks very much!

got a deal off of yelp needed to find out what was wrong with my outlets,the deal was $150 for $200 worth of work figured it should cover it.The electrician showed up nice guy changed out some outlets minor stuff work was good then he foumd out about my coupon,thats when hidden fees starting coming into play it totaled to exactly $200 found that convienient for them either way the electrician had 15 plus years in his field and I havent had a problem with my electricity since so my advice get all the service fee's and parts for outlets etc. out in the open before they show up.

We've already utilized JT&L's services twice within the last month and have been really happy with JTs electrical work. I got to meet both JT and Laurie and they're both professional but also very friendly and personable which is something you don't find too often.

JT fixed electrical issues that resulted from another company doing a very poor electrical installation at my mother-in-laws rental property (see my other review for who not to use) which JT was able to RESOLVE VERY QUICKLY and he also fixed an electrical issue at her primary residence. I'm happy support this business not only because of the quality of work at a fair price but also because it's veteran-owned. I'll definitely be reaching out to JT&L for any future needs!
