Just hired TX ELECTRICAL SERVICES for a small project to replace pendant lights with can lights. Jed and Christian were very professional and courteous. Very pleased with the work. I will definitely hire them again.

Thomas is the real deal unlike The first company I called that never called back to schedule me even after I called and emailed them again and again. So I found Thomas with his great reviews on Yelp. I took a chance and emailed him while in a meeting. He answered shortly and booked me all via email which was appreciated with my crazy schedule. I needed a outlet put in for my tankless water heater and outlet serviced on the back porch. He arrived and talked me through what was needed and kept my best interests at heart by making some recommendations that saved me money. All in all...He arrived on time, was polite and helpful, completed the service quickly and left the work area clean. I would definitely recommend his company to others and will reuse. Scott installed an additional outlet in my garage. I love that he communicates via text message. He kept me informed on the progress of his prior job to let me know approximately when he'd arrive at my house. Upon arrival, he was very friendly and got to work quickly after giving me a few options. He seems like an honest and stand up guy. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive option, but instead asked questions to help me get the best solution for my needs. I'd recommend Bear to others.

This is my kind of electrician!

I had these guys add lights to my backyard and they ended up doing an amazing job!

To be honest the first guy they sent first came on the wrong day to the wrong house.  When he came back on the right day he spent all day and said he would need more time.  I was also not impressed with the work.

With that said, I called the owner the next day.  He apologized and said he would take care of it himself.  When he came by we still had a few bumps in the road but the ended up doing an amazing job in the end!

Not seeing power cords was big for me and he made them invisible along with hiding the poles behind the fence (see pictures).  It looked great in the end and I couldn't be more happier with the results.  Recommend him for your lighting needs.  See my pictures for proof.

Again, we started on a rough start but the end results make it all worth it.

I will use L&R again and will recommend them to neighbors. I messaged 6 electricians through the Yelp and L&R answered all of my questions promptly and offered a free estimate as well as same day installation. The estimate was less than all of the other companies. Louis removed a can light and installed a chandelier and changed the light switch to a dimmer in an hour. He was professional, friendly and cleaned up after himself. We are very pleased!!!

I went to Twin Oaks Electric for a second opinion and found a business I'll keep using for as long as I stay in Austin. Max was responsive and easy to work. Plus, the team he sent out, Dylan and Austin, arrived on time, did great work and even talked me down from extras that, in retrospect, were just an upsell from another company. Honest, local folks--Highly recommend.

I was taking a metal bed apart in my spare bedroom and to make a long story short. It fell over into my wall and made two fist sized holes in the drywall.  I live in a new house, so not happy at all to say the least. Went straight to Yelp for help close by. I contacted Handyman Dan after searching and reading some reviews. He responded quickly!  Quoted me a good price and scheduled a appointment for the repairs. He was communicative, on time and did a fantastic job in a quick fashion. I'm very satisfied and will use him for other projects if the need arises.  I recommend his services!  Thanks Dan!

Just had or living room and dining room done by All Star Electric. Very friendly from the get go, and I enjoyed getting the free estimate prior by just providing pictures. Did an amazing job, and finished much faster than I thought. Will use them again in the future!

A fluorescent fixture in my store stopped working, so I foolishly started to replace it myself. After leaving myself in the dark, I called HF Electric the next morning.
Homer said he would try to work me in to the day, and much to my happiness he and to helpers showed up and fixed my light and some other lights in under an hour.
I can't stress how reasonable the pricing was and what a pleasure to have my day saved.

I have to chime in - yep, Paul is great.  I called on Monday, non-emergency, he had my kitchen light fixed by Tuesday.  It was wired wrong from the get-go (the builder's guys wired the thing wrong and it lasted 8 years that way...)  Anyway, Paul fixed that and fixed the light.  It is a fluorescent.  Very reasonable cost (lower than another estimate I received on Thumbtack) and very pleasant person.  Thanks Paul!

Getting Cox to do business has made me feel like an awkward preteen trying to get a date to the dance: call after call with no calls back, hours waiting by the phone dreading the inevitable no-show, then, of course, the let down of no knock on the door. I got stood up. Maybe Cox is over at the quarterback's house rewiring his house. Tease.

I had an appointment set for 8AM today, Cox's suggestion, not my own. I understand service folks run late and I am most certainly empathic to that, but there's no way I wasn't his first visit of the day. It had been on his calendar for a week. I am fine with people showing up late. I'm even fine with no-shows. But doing both of these without even the courtesy of calling me? That hurts.

We hired this company a little less than a year ago to put in all new lights and fix outlets that were not working. On one light the electrician installed a new switch a way he was not supposed to and it was not until he showed back up later that day with his boss to look at it that we were even told of the issue. They had to put an extra hole in the ceiling of a bathroom that is covered with a plastic plate now. They hung several lights on chains that we have since had to redo because they were having from the cord itself and not the chain. The outlet they fixed have all 1 by 1 stopped working. And now less than a year after paying them hundreds of dollars to do all this work half the outlets in my home don't work and I'm now paying a new electrician to come fix everything.

The staff was very nice but not knowledgable when it comes to actually doing the installation or repair of lights or sockets.

Great working with JT & Laurie to install our new lighted bathroom mirror. After going through a water damage claim and spending months rebuilding our bathroom, the mirror was the LAST thing to do and I was mostly burnt out. They could not have made it easier on me, and for an extremely fair price vs. other electricians in the area. JT & Laurie want to earn your business and I will give them a call again in the future. Glad to have them on my shortlist of trusted professionals!

I called about a fussy breaker at 4pm on a Friday and Jacob was at my house in 10 minutes! (To be fair he lives around the corner.) Had a new breaker installed and my heat back up and running in under 30 minutes. So grateful to have heat again during this cold spell and I'd definitely use these guys again for any electrical project!

Showed up on time and was done quickly with what they must have considered a small job (installing a new fixture in the bathroom.  They were very professional and reasonably priced.

Seriously, the best experience with an electrician team I have ever experienced.  From the estimate, which was absolutely free, no fee at all to come out...most places as it turns out charge about an $80 fee just to come look and give an estimate.  To the job that was done today...professional, quick and relatively inexpensive.  Really the best price out there for such a professional job.  Three different young men came out to my house.  The first to do the estimate, the other two to do the job.  Three different young men that were professional and so willing to work hard to get the job done quick and correctly.  I cannot recommend them enough.  I felt very comfortable having them in my home.  I know who I will contact from now on to have any electrical work done when needed.  The only complaint that I have is that they were booked for about a week give or take a day or two.  So, we had to wait that long for the work to be done.  I understand why that is though.  They are great so they stay busy.  Thank you LiveWire, for a professional job WELL DONE!!!!
