Best Drain Cleaning in Phoenix AZ

First rate service.  We woke up Sunday morning and discovered we had no hot water.  We called and within 40 minutes or so, Chas showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He helped us weigh the choice between a repair vs a new water heater.  And he showed up early this morning to install the new water heater.  He was efficient, thorough and did an excellent job.  I think we'v found ourselves a new plumbing company if a problem arises in the future.

One of this company's employees parks his truck in his driveway everyday in our neighborhood in Desert Ridge at 4354 E. Abraham Lane, Phoenix, AZ. It's a violation of the CC&Rs and complaints have been made to the Desert Ridge Compliance Coordinator. It's been going on for over a month. I'm guessing they have received letters about it and are ignoring them. Why? Maybe they don't own the house and the warnings are going in the trash. I don't know. But the company knows he's taking the truck home. Where do they think he's parking it? It's basically a billboard for their company in the neighborhood so they think it's great. Crapping up neighborhoods is a terrible policy and leads to neighborhood blight. Get it out of here!

Save yourself the hassle. Very unprofessional. Unwilling to respond to inquiries.

I've never dealt with a company who has so willingly disregarded communication and has failed to investigate the issues.  

By posting this I hope others will find another company to use for their HVAC needs.  It would be unfortunate if another customer had the same experience we did.

Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself). They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink. I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business.

Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating. We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience.

Mark did an excellent job replacing our 40 gallon  water heater. He came on time and completed the job in no time. Mark is very pleasant and I highly recommend his company

Hansen Family Plumbing has been our go-to for our plumbing needs for many years. From major underground pipe repair thanks to tree roots, to your more basic faucet issues, I've called them for various needs and have always received excellent customer service and prompt appointments. I always highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Sam was able to come by the same morning I called and fixed my clogged drain so fast and he unfroze my garbage disposal at the same time. I had tried cleaners, snake and plunging without success. Sam was fast, effective and very reasonably priced.

WARNING: Do NOT use this company. I beg you to look at other options available to you.

6/21/2019 - Bought a brand new $10,000 AC unit (our old one was on the fritz and we have a 4 month old so we thought it would be a good idea to just replace it)

6/25/2019 - Brand new $10,000 AC unit is installed. Out of our house for 9+ hours, however this was to be expected. The installers kept saying 1 more hour for 3 hours in a row so that was frustrating. Later that night we noticed this brand new $10,000 AC unit was not cooling our house nearly as fast as our previous 17 year old unit.

7/2/2019 - Called Precision and asked them to come look at why it would taking 2+ hours to cool our house just 1 degree. I understand we live in a Phoenix and it's hot, but again our previous 17 year old unit cooled our house way faster. Some guy comes over for a few hours, works on some things and he's on his way. Says everything's good to go.

7/4/2019 - (3AM) AC goes out. Scrambling to get our 4 month old and 2 dogs out of the house and to a friends house. Keep in mind it's the 4th of July which we planned on spending with family and friends. We call Precision and they said they would have someone come out.

7/4/2019 - (9AM) Another guy comes over around 9AM and says the circuit board is blown. Says it's a holiday so they won't be able to get the parts until 7/5. Later that day the unit randomly started working again so we went home from where we were staying.

7/4/2019 - (11PM) AC is out again. We once again scramble to get our 4 month old out of bed and to a friends house. (of course she is an INFANT and was then up the majority of the night when normally she sleeps through the night)

7/5/2019 - (NOON!!!!!) Ok it took them until NOON to get this piece of equipment they needed to fix our AC. The technician told me when he picked up the piece that the one originally in our unit was 2 generations old!!! WAIT how is that possible since we just bought this $10,000 unit less than 2 weeks ago?!?!? And then he says if it stops working again, give us a call WOW!!! that sure gives me a lot of faith in this (not).

7/5/2019 (10:30PM) guess what folks! AC is out again!!!! Yep, our beautiful 4 month old baby and 2 elderly dogs are fast asleep and here we are again!! Scrambling trying to figure out what to do and where to go! Call Precision (btw it says they're open 24 hours but really they just have an answering service and you are at the mercy of them calling you back). They called back and said there are some other service calls ahead of ours but we are on the list. (that's great, it's only 80+ degrees in our house already, we'll just wait). I highly doubt and have ZERO faith in this company fixing our **BRAND NEW $10,000 AC UNIT**!!!

BOTTOM LINE: If you love your children, pets, sanity, and sleep... DO NOT by any means use this company!!!!

I have a fairly new home, built less than 2 years ago, and my tankless water heater went out a few weeks ago. The company charged me for a part I didn't need that was still under warranty. It took two weeks for them to finally fix it and all it needed was an electronic master reset.

I reached out to ask about why they charged me for a part I didn't need and they said due to all the time they spent here and on the phone with tech support.

Here's the issue I hope you correct going forward so it doesn't impact future customers:

1) Your technician didn't spend more than 5 minutes here the first time. He didn't troubleshoot anything. I told him the code and what I looked up online that led me to calling you. He said yup that's it. Then he left.

2) Had he troubleshot the issue it could've been resolved that day and we wouldn't have been without hot water for two weeks. Also, this would've prevented the ordering of a part that was unnecessary.

3) The second technician said he's not a plumber, rather he's an HVAC guy. I think having the properly trained technician would have sped up the job, reducing time wasted on troubleshooting a master reset.

I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because  I am thankful the last technician that came out was honest and was able to resolve it and get the water heater working.

I would NOT recommend this company, first of all the prices are HIGHER but I thought living in Sun City West I would give them the business instead of going out of town also thinking if my air conditioner wasn't working correctly they would be closer... Well, that was a BIG mistake they are listed with APS for a $200 rebate (I found myself) called them about it they claim they had no more to give out, Trina the girl in the office was going to talk to the owners about this problem and get back to me, after a week NO call back so I called she wouldn't take my call, I got tossed around ended up with the salesman that DIDN'T  tell me about the FEE they charge for a labor warranty that others offer for FREE so I assumed because on the Trane paper work it states your system may qualify for repair labor FREE of charge sense I was buying the same system why would I think they would charge me if the SALESMAN NEVER said anything about this monthly charge!! Also I asked how much would it to drain a hot water tank he said $89, I had it done for $29 from a licensed plumber...
so you do the math...  Also if I were the owner of Canyon State Air Conditioning,Heating and Plumbing I would of given the customer the $200 Aps rebate

This company saved the day! My a/c was not blowing cold air and this happened mid day, I messaged a few businesses on yelp and Andrew was the first one to get back to me. They were able to come out later that night and check out what was going. They do charge a service fee but it does get applied to the overall bill which is nice as well. They were able to fix the problem with a recharge of my system and we now have cold air. I will definitely be using this company for any problems I have in the future with my HVAC. I highly recommend!

I called this morning for a leaky faucet and Robert was out within a couple of hours.  He had to find a part for the fix and found it quickly, faucet has been fixed and we are leak free.  Robert was personable and knowledgeable, I will definitely use Hansen Family Plumbing and Air for future plumbing needs!

Lane from Kings Plumbing was so great to work with.  He was knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. He gave me straight answers and some helpful tips on preventative maintenance. Awesome guy and hard worker. Thanks KIngs Plumbing!

I'm not sure why there aren't more positive reviews here. Parker and Sons is not the cheapest out there, but they provide consistent service, are available for emergencies and do good work. They do the maintenance on my HVAC system, re-insulated my attic, sealing everything tight, and just installed a tankless water heater after our old heater decided it didn't want to hold water anymore.

Professional, safe (masks worn at all times), and worth it.

Jose came out for an annual check up for our AC. (We had only been customers for about a year). He checked it out and made two recommendations. I hesitated but accepted the recommendations, and I'm so glad I did. He installed an improved capacitor and a 3ton hard start kit.

Now the unit (right outside our bedroom) is so quiet it can be difficult to tell if it's running. Plus the unit is not working so hard and should experience a longer life.

I trust Jose and Yavapai Plumbing and Heating to make truly helpful recommendations, not just for the sake of making a sale.

We now use them for heating AND plumbing.

They are very fast in a pinch but beware the blower motor was going out on my AC unit at least they diagnosed it correctly but wanted to charge me $1600 to replace it which prompted me to look into buying a new AC unit. And then after I researched the blower motor via the model number from the blower motor I found out that the part was 300 bucks. Needless to say I felt like they were trying to rip me off.

I have used Dukes of Air for a few years now.  They are very courteous and always on time.  Tom was our technician yesterday for our semi-annual maintenance check up and it couldn't have been a better experience.  They keep our 10 year old system running well.

The two stars are for diagnosing the problem and the nice and competent technician.  The loss of 3 stars are for the frustration of dealing with them and the price gauging.  I scheduled a repair service and the 'salesperson' who scheduled,  first tries to talk you into taking their yearly service.  I explained that that might be a possibility once I had them see the unit and diagnose what the problem was (turned out to be the condenser motor), and then I would decide.  I called the position 'salesman' as she definitely wanted me to call her back,  so am sure she was getting a type of compensation for selling the yearly service. Then, like many of the companies apparently, they have the technician also become the salesman after diagnosing what the problem with the A/C unit was.  As he talked and wanted to start the repair, I looked up the part (thanks Google) and it was less than $200 but the quote 'from the office', for the repair was $1100!!!  When I told him I would like to get some other estimates, he said fine and would get his tools off the roof.  He came back down and said the 'boss' told him, they could actually do it for $800.  I declined that offer also.  In the next few days, called several companies and got 3 offers for $475 so figured that was the going rate and selected one who did  the repair two days later for the quote given (no extra charges or other things needing repair) about a 20 minute job.  When I asked several companies for an estimate for a condenser motor, they came back with 'we do not take other companies repair decisions'.  Fair enough but asked if it is the condenser motor, what would be the charge.  They indicated that it would be the technician who could decide that!!  In other words, those companies also made their tech guy a salesman also and would imagine a 'kickback' from whatever he could get by with.  Not real happy with trying to find ONE honest A/C company!!

A big thank you to Richard.  I posted a request for a quote around 10pm and got a response with an estimate along with availability in half an hour.  I was able to schedule the appointment on yelp right away and got confirmation on yelp.  I added one more job after the initial plan and it was gladly accepted.  All jobs were completed quickly.  Good communication from the beginning to the end.  Great experience with Richard.  Thanks again.

AC went out on July Fourth. We had a big group coming over for a BBQ and it was 110 outside.

I called our warranty folks and they put me in touch with Chas Roberts, who called me within 10 minutes to say the tech was scheduled.

Joe arrived about two hours later. He explained what he was doing all along the way and kept us updated. He was professional, efficient and very knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Chas Roberts for your chilling needs!  They saved the day.
