Best Toilet Installation in Durham NC

Had Dylan, with Mo Flo Plumbing, install a new full bathroom in my basement, which included jack hammering some of the concrete slab in order to lay new plumbing lines for the toilet and tub.  Everything was done per code and City inspector even came out and approved his work.  This was a major job that spanned several weeks, due to multiple inspections at different stages, and every time Dylan was on time and aways professional with the inspectors.  We were also very pleased with his work and the wife is happy, which is all that matters in the end, lol.  His prices also seem to be fair and reasonable.  Not expensive but not dirt cheap.  My impression of Dylan is that he is sincerely a very nice guy and always strives to please the customer.  We will always call him back for future needs!

When our shower head pipe broke off behind the wall, we got no answer and no callback for days from two previously trusted plumbers. Then I found Joseph Rose's great reviews online. I was shocked when someone picked up the phone late on a Saturday afternoon and scheduled a plumber for that Tuesday. (It wasn't an emergency.) Ethan was able to fix the problem in less than 1/2 hour without cutting into the wall, which we had expected. He also added some missing caulking and even replaced our shower head with one he had in his truck, all within the one-hour labor cost. And he couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful.

Note:  We did have to wait 4 hours from the scheduled arrival time, but he called to tell us he had an emergency job and asked if we wanted him to show up in the evening or the next day. We chose the evening. Of course, we weren't happy about the extra wait. But afterwards, we realized we'd rather wait a few hours for an excellent plumber who responds quickly to emergency calls. That could be us someday!

Quick response.  John was very helpful!  Mario was super friendly and quick and efficient.  They were able to come out same day, so that was great.

I screwed up a simple plumbing job and Lasen came quickly to help. Prices were good, he arrived promptly, and the job was done quickly and efficiently. Recommend!

We had a broken drain pipe in our crawl space causing a terrible odor in our house. I called Jordan Plumbing on a Sunday to schedule an appointment for Monday. They came out and fixed the problem and give me free advice to fix a clogged foundation drain on my own.

Won't use again. I called them back the day after their service to let them know that the toilet was still not functioning properly. Without going into all of the details, suffice it to say that his response came with a big attitude. He said that I had called about a leaking toilet, which he fixed, and that I did not call about it not flushing properly. In exasperation, I stated that I called because the toilet was not working properly and was leaking and I had expected a functioning toilet after the $150 repairs.
He very condescendingly said he didn't know what else I wanted him to do and that I should probably just get a new toilet.  Admittedly, I haven't found any plumbers in the area who seem to be able to fix simple problems. His cocky, rude attitude was more of an issue than anything else.
P.S. I just googled my problem... And fixed it myself. It's working properly now.

Needed to have a badly functioning shower control replaced and the price was right with Jayk's. Jose showed up on time, did a great job on the installation and we have been very happy with his work. I have no problem recommending Jayk's and, if I need help again, I'll call them right up!

I've used still water plumbing for the last 2 years on numerous jobs and he has alway done an excellent job . I would highly recommend Joe at still water plumbing.

Anyone hear of the song, Jim Dandy to the rescue? This is the guy!! For the second time Vincent has made me a VERY happy home owner. Only this time I actually got to meet the man behind the prompt and accurate service. Again, no muss and no fuss AND I got the bad parts in my hand with an explanation and recommendation.  Reasonable prices and JOB WELL DONE, VINCENT!!

I had a really good experience with Nick from here today! Service was fast, friendly and informative. I had been experiencing a very high water bill and hoped that it was just my running toilet and not some bigger issue. Nick took the time to listen, explain how much waterloss I was probably experiencing and even showed me where my water meter was and how to track leaks by looking at the numbers! Above and beyond there!

Honestly, (to the business model) it was a bit more expensive than I had hoped, and I was kinda put-off by the repeated idea of getting a membership to receive discounts later on (kind of an insurance plan to use this company), but I am happy with the results and understand why they are trying to sell their plans.

I will add that Nick was a very non-pressure guy when it came to the proscribed options and was very direct with what would work best for me. They are very lucky to have such an excellent employee.

I put in a service request on yelp and Ronald got back to me super quick and was able to come out the next day and fix our broken bathtub faucet! He was very communicative and honest. This company was very helpful and my family is very happy to not have to take any more showers with a bucket!!

Face it, nobody wakes up and goes I think I'll hire a plumber today. No, water showing up where it's not supposed to, especially inside your house, is never a good thing. It's happened twice in the same week with me. One required a roofer. Another a plumber. I went to Yelp for recommendations on both. Of the 4 plumbers that responded, I picked ARC for a number of reasons. First, they responded quickly. Second, they were available. Third, they were somewhat in the ballpark of the quotes I got, not the highest, not the lowest. They also did not tack on a trip charge which one quote did, and they charged by the job, not by the hour, which I prefer. Fourth, they showed up within a 2 hour window, actually earlier so bonus points. Finally the pleasant and informative Matt was just great. Gave me a rundown, told me options, left me with estimate and his personal cell if I had questions after. Haven't scheduled the job yet but plan to and will update review after that.

Trey, the Owner, was ultra-attentive on this project, which involved the replacement of the leaking Honeywell valve on my water heater. He was honest and up-front, obtained the warranty part from the appropriate vendor, practiced Covid precautions, and was price-competitive. He will be returning soon to replace my outdoor hose bibs.

Jason Hogg, the technician came out to my house on a Saturday to put in a shower/tub faucet. He had to cap off the pipes so he could come back to do the install on Monday. He scheduled the appointment and told me he would be back on Monday at 10am. I called Monday at 8am to ask for a detailed bill,  which by the way they do NOT provide. They told me I didn't have an appointment. Turns out someone didn't do their job I was not on the list. Long story short, no plumber ever came to fix my shower. Cody and Brandon the dispatchers did not follow-up with me to let me know they were late and may not be able to come. Finally at 5:15 I called them back again and was told no one would be coming. And they do NOT schedule a time for arrival for a service call.
The one star is for the amazing ladies who answer the phones!

Awesome service and amazing customer service thanks for being so helpful. I had a small leak on a water line coming into my home and Aaron was very punctual and took care of everything right away.

Our air unit started making a loud noise so we called our home warranty company. They referred us to Bell Cow. They tell us to turn the unit off until a tech could get here. We did. Guy comes out and says the fan broke off and that's what the noise was. All good right?? Home warranty company tells us the note states there was a slow leak indicating the damage happened prior to the warranty. Crazy....because the tech that came out didn't turn the unit on or hook any gauges or hoses up. Literally took a look and left. So....how do you go from a fan breaking off to a slow leak when you don't even inspect the unit?? Then we called to inquire about the notes and the fact that we were with the tech the whole time and he didn't turn it in or hook anything up....and the person states well I wasn't there. Thanks for that fun fact but that doesn't fix the lie that came with your techs report. By don't worry we got a second opinion and will happily give our business to another company.

They got here and gave me a quote that's unreasonably high. Although I have communicated my issue clearly beforehand and they should be able to give me a quote without having to be here. In the end I had to pay for the dispatch fee while fixing the issue myself. Genuinely bad experience, feels like a trap.
