I first hired Daniel for an inspection on plumbing and main sewage pipe before purchasing a home. He gave a great estimate and took a video of the main sewer line to show where damage was located and the severity. Daniel was great at communicating, very efficient, and personable. His pricing was accurate to the estimate he gave as well. I highly recommend!

My floor furnace quit working. because a friend knew the previous owners of Downey Plumbing I called them.  My house is a rental and I live 89 miles away so we set up a meeting time. Alex arrived right on time.  He checked the furnace and said they would have to remove it and replace a few parts. Price was $900.00. I then paid the $79 service call charge.  This would be deducted when work was done according to him. Because of some issues that needed to be taken care of it would be awhile before furnace could be worked on. I called a number of times asking for a written agreement on this finally taking to the owner Joe he did agree verbally to the agreement but still nothing in writing.  The day Alex fixed the furnace my renters were having a problem with the bathtub draining so asked Alex to look at that. He said a piece from the stopper had fallen in so didn't have tools with to fix it. I finally had to call him.  When he told me it would cost $725 to fix. I spoke with Joe the owner as I was also waiting for the invoice on the furnace.  He asked me to pay by credit card but had big discussion on the original agreement of deducting the $79.  Asked him to text me the invoice before I would pay. It took a revision before he did it correctly!! Decided at that point to find another plumber for the bath tub.  It cost me $130 to have it fixed.

DOWNEY plumbing is INCOMPETENT, UNCOMMUNICATIVE, DISHONEST and OVERPRICED.   Will never use them again.

Just read the response from Joe the owner of Downey plumbing and heating. When I talked to Joe after Alex told me what needed to be done and that the furnace would have to be removed he and I agreed upon $900 minus the $79 service call fee which I had already paid. Joe & Alex knew  that there was a problem my renter had to take care of before they could do the job. When he said Alex checking The tub problem was done free that was only after they told me it would cost 700+ dollars to fix it. I said I would find someone else.

Josh from All Service Plumbing came to check flooding toilet. Did inspect using Camera. Extremely friendly and efficient, well equipped truck. 'A pleasure to work with' guy

Had the pleasure of calling Mike today really nice guy. Came in and took care of my backed up sink in no time, is prompt. Showed up when he said he would and just the nicest guy and his price was really reasonable if I ever have another plumbing issue he will be the first person I call. It's Saturday and he still showed up within the time frame he said really reliable

I've been a home owner for about 3 years now. Within those 3 years my wife and I have been updating/upgrading our home and using multiple vendors/services! My building had a previous idiot plumber who messed up our whole buildings pipes and gave us so many pipe leaks and water issues and one my tenants found Chris the plumber and he came out right away and fixed all the problems we had and we had satisfied tenants once again....plus gave us some discounts if you have alot of work needed...I def recommend him.. Federico has worked twice at my home, and yes, you can buy peace of mind at a reasonable price. First, there was a leak in my home's sewer line to the main line in the street. After a camera inspection, the exact location of the break was found. The pipe was replaced using a pipe bursting method, and the clean out near my home was replaced. Most recently, Federico located and repaired a leak in the pipe from an upstairs bathroom. His work is minimally invasive, because he knows how plumbing is configured after a quick assessment. Both times, Federico arrived quickly, and worked diligently. I trust this company to fix any plumbing issue because Federico is extremely knowledgeable, technically adept, and honest.

These guys are the best.  Best quality, best service, very respectful of the home and cleanliness and great attitudes.  If they owned stock I'd buy some.  5 stat all the way.

George is absolutely the best .. workmanship, quality and price! He installed our alkaline water f and we couldn't be any happier. The job was done flawless from point A-Z.

Contacted Todd about repairing a ceiling damaged by rainstorm. Todd gave me and estimate for the drywall repair as well as some additional painting.

Marco came out to do the work.  He is fantastic. He showed up on time each day he was scheduled and was very polite.  When he tore out the damaged drywall on the ceiling, we realized that the wood  was still damp and that the insulation in the ceiling was wet and should be replaced..  He said we should wait for the wood to dry before doing the repair....which we did.  In the mean time he proceeded to complete some of the painting work in another room.  Marco was very professional and did not recommend doing the ceiling until it was completely dry....so we waited for a couple of days.  I really appreciated the fact that he did not just push ahead with the repair while the wood was still wet as that might have caused problems later.  Marco eventually  finished the ceiling repair and some wall patching as well.  He did a great job and it was obvious that he took pride in doing his job well and to the satisfaction of his customer.

I would recommend this company, especially Marco, and would use them again if I need similar work done.

This is the second time Rick has come out and both times he's been great. He's always honest about what's going on and he fixes it like it's his own house. It feels like your neighbor stopped by to help you out; your neighbor who also happens to be an expert plumber. We will never use anyone else.

Anthony was awesome.  Really thorough and made sure he diagnosed the problem.  I've come across so many flakey plumbers and Anthony and trusty came through right away!  We would definitely call him and trusty plumbers again.

Not only was the service prompt, the plumber showed up early and did a fantastic job! My toilet no longer feels like a rocking horse... Mark and his team are fantastic and I would highly recommend Prodigy Plumbing to anyone who has plumbing needs in the Long Beach area!

Biard & Crockett - Horrible!  Greg gave me a price on the phone to replace recalled toilet parts (3rd recal BTW...uggh),  since our prior plumber was not available and the manufacturer, Flushmate, uses them for warranty work.  The young plumber who showed up to repair nonfunctional toilets in our office gave another price and Greg would not honor his word.  Bad contractor.  Unethical pricing.  Stay away!

Bobby Tieu was awesome. Showed up on time, was really friendly, quickly diagnosed and solved a huge leak that had covered my second floor in grey water. It's been 2 weeks and I'm leak free. Thanks Bobby!

While we didnt end up using this service he was the first person to reply and had the best rate! Unfortunately we had an emergency leak and paid up the nose for an install since the guy was already here.

Decided to try these guys out for the first time after researching a ton of reviews, calling a couple other plumbing companies.  Had a drain clean-out need for washer-to-sink back-up issue, older home piping.  
Had an initial small communication delay from receptionist, though Fabian showed up on time, ready to work, and was knowledgeable, professional, kept all areas clean and took time to explain processes.  Can't ask for more - will use them again.  Keep up the good work, Fabian!
