They quoted us $850 and then tried to raise the price to $1100. They said it was a mistake, but I feel they should honor their mistakes. Don't use, them. All my neighbors asking for referrals will not use them either.

I contacted Ted and Bros after having hired a plumber to come in and try to unclog one of our bathtubs had failed to get the job done. Zeke one of the plumbers for Ted and Bros reached back to meet immediately and answered all my questions and gave me an estimate withing minutes. He was available to get the job done right the next day. He came and it literally took him 10-15mins to get the job done and left everything spotless. He did an amazing job!! I highly recommend Ted and Bros for any of your plumbing needs.

Very happy with our service from Ezequiel. We had a major root issue in our restroom where it required breaking into the slab, digging 3' into the ground, and replacing all the plumbing. It seemed like a big job but Ezequiel was able to complete the job in a very timely manner AND at a reasonable cost. We were very impress with him; he was professional and courteous. He was always conscious about not leaving a mess at our home and made sure to leave our home just as it was before the job, if not cleaner. Thanks for saving our restroom and all it's plumbing!! We will definitely use you again.

Great value and service.

Had come home after being gone for a week to discover that the sinks would back up every time we ran the washer causing the washer to fail to complete the cycle. Being new to Orange I had to start from scratch to find a reliable plumber. Started with Roto-rooter and they gave me the run around about needing to visit before quoting me for a straight forward snaking of the line. So they came walked around the house and quoted me 250. Did some research and spoke with the in-laws prior to his arrival and new this was at the high end of the spectrum for this type of work. Called around and got the run around a half a dozen more times.

Finally spoke with Ted and Bros and had a nice straight forward interaction. They were able to schedule the same day. They came out, snaked the main line, showed me where the problem was and why it was happening. No BS. They gave me a no pressure suggestion for what could be done to for a more long lasting solution.

A very pleasant experience and it did not cost me my first born. Will be using them in the future for the next plumping issue.

We just had a tankless water heater installed with a water softener and pex piping in our 65 year old house. I later learned we were eligible for a Socal gas company rebate for the upgrade and called Rachel at Ted and Bros. Rachel did an awesome job by submitting the application and the required documentation. This was an unexpected bonus and very appreciated.
Ted and his crew did a great job and Rachel's help with rebate application was the icing on the cake. Cool to know a big check will be coming in the mail in a couple months!

We had a main-line clog this month. Everything backed up on a Monday evening and we called Ted & Bros around 8:30pm. The plumber showed up about around 9pm and had our line snaked and clear by 10:15... and it wasn't easy, as he needed to go through two different clean-outs. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the plumber himself, but he was extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone.... they really got us out of a jam.

We highly recommend Ted & Bros Plumbing. The Gas Company discovered a plugged line and shut off our gas, so we suddenly found ourselves in need of replacing all the gas pipes in our house. Ted & Bros came out first thing the morning after I called, gave us some options, since the house is on a slab, and provided a reasonable estimate. He said they could start right away, and that the job would take 2-3 days. He and his crew then repiped the entire house, left no mess, no ugly holes in the walls, and finished the next day.

I tried to fix our toilet for a week and it ended up unusable. Thank goodness Fabulous Fabian came within an hour after I called. On the phone the receptionist said a new install would be 150.00...n I was fine with that amount. The great thing is Fabian said this isn't a new install n charged only 95.00. Polite n explained everything. He made a quick job of it. Honest treatment of customers.

After being disappointed with a different plumbing company, I contacted Ted & Bros. They were able to give me a price over the phone to change out an old toilet for a new Kohler I bought today and replace the shutoff valve and supply line. They set an appointment for same day and Ezekiel showed up on time, did an excellent professional job, left the work area clean. There was a small additional fee for taking the old one away which was fine by me. The overall cost was still less than half what some other places wanted per their Standard Book Rate.

What a pleasant surprise from a plumbing service. Ted and Bros Plumbing was my second call from the Yelp reviews. The first plumber was honest and said it would take a couple days until he could work on my leaking sink. When I spoke with Rachael she was nice and said someone will be there in an hour. I was expecting the worste from my old house but Fabian put me at ease and diagnosed the problem right away. It was my old insta-hot reservoir was rusted and was leaking(it was unplugged in 2005). He removed the unit and capped the waterline and added a soap dispenser where the old spout was. Fabian was professional and friendly. He also adjusted my disposal and got it running smooth again. All that for a very reasonable $147.98 total including my new fancy soap dispenser!
I'm so happy to have found a reliable Plumbing service in my local area.

We had some issues the other day with our toilet. Basically we ended up working with these guys and they were freakin awesome!!! Great customer service and people skills! Their honesty -now thats a major plus!! Definetly plan on utilizing these guys should we ever need them in the future. We had a massive repair needed on our house. The drainage system basically fell apart. It was repairs that were needed but I kept putting off. Thankfully Ted and bros came analyzed the problem cleaned up and dug up and replaced the sewage line. It was major work but was done quickly and professionally done. Most honest plumbers I've ever meet. If you're looking for a cheap plumber, whose work you'll have to re-do in a few months, look elsewhere. But if you want someone affordable and reliable, and that guaranty their work these are your guys. Ask for Fabian. He puts his job above personal errands and will be ready to help you asap. I have had the pleasure of using Ted & Bros for 2 jobs in the past 2 years. Their professionalism and workmanship is spectacular. Extremely friendly group of guys. Easy to speak to and work with. Rachel handled setting my appointments with ease.

My first job was with Fabian (bro-in-law) and Ezekiel (youngest brother). They installed a new kitchen sink, two toilets, and added fixtures to two bathroom showers and sinks. Fabian went above and beyond to replace one of the lines to the toilet as it was the incorrect size to fill the toilet tank.

Second job consisted of replacing a water line from the meter to the shut off valve. I had a mystery pool of water in my yard by the shut off valve. Ted (the owner) took a quick look and priced out the work and labor cost. Since I used them before I didn't need to get a second opinion. The appointment was set the next morning. Let's just say there was a lot of digging involved. Gustavo did the heavy work and was able to save my plants. Ted took the extra step of adding a separate shut off valve for my sprinkler system.

I can definitely rely on them to get the job done.

A pipe broke behind the wall in our kitchen under the sink it flooded the house. I called Ted and bros Plumbing. From the first time I spoke to Rachel on the phone they took care of everything I was able to take a short video and they gave me an estimate right over the phone. We were able to schedule an appointment for the next day, 2 plumbers came out to fix our piping, they were on time and very professional, explained exactly what needed to be repaired, and left the kitchen floor cleaner then it was before they came. The cost was exactly what the estimate was. I would recommend Ted & Bros Plumbing to anyone and will use them again. 5 star service.

Ted and Rachel did a fantastic job! My elderly mother had a slab leak at her home. She has health issues which requires her to have a clean and livable home. Ted and Rachel worked over and beyond what was expected of them. They had the leak located, repaired and helped with putting the entire home back together! Beyond amazing@ I heard a gushing sound in my bathroom wall and had warm floor tiles and new it was a slab leak. My landlord put me in touch with Rachel immediately and Ted was here the next morning. He quickly found the leak, opened a wall in our closet, re-routed and installed a brand new pipe rather than going through the floor. Ted and his assistant were friendly, worked so hard all day, and wore masks the entire time. I feel 100% confident in the job they did. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you!!

Do not use this company. I called to ask how much a particular service was and was quoted $150 to $160. When they arrived they said it would be $375!! More than double what I was quoted. The guy got his owner on the phone and I told her what happened. She said the guy who quoted me on the phone never should have told me that, he was wrong. I said, okay, can you make it right? How about since your company gave me the wrong quote, let's meet in the middle? She said no. SHE SAID NO. She should have made it right because her employee was the one who screwed up. I was even willing to pay $100 more than quoted!! And she still said no. So, avoid this company.
**To the manager's reply below: I didn't ask you to show up and give me a quote. Your employee gave me a quote on the phone, I then booked your company. Regardless if your employee was wrong, you should have stood by what I was told. That would have been the right thing to do.

We had a small job to replace a valve connecting to our refrigerator. The plumber that came to our house was so kind and polite. The job was finished quickly and efficiently. The plumber showed up early on a rainy day, which was unexpected. He also saw I had packages delivered that we're getting wet on my porch and brought them inside. We were so pleasantly surprised by the plumber's kindness. Will definitely hire again for future projects!

Called to fix the bathroom sink clog for the tenant, Albert quoted $135, but when mentioned the Yelp $85 ad, he said he will do it for $89. When the job was done, I got an invoice for $135. Nobody even called to inform us of the price increase. The Job was done good,but disappointed with the pricing surprise, need to inform the customer if the price changes from what was promised.

Luckily after explaining the situation to the owner, he came out and found the leak, fixed it and did a professional job. Messaged though yelp and then made an appointment by phone. It took three phone numbers to get someone (one of the plumbers I think ) but when I did he offered to let front office know i would like a callback and then I was also able to get someone on the phone when I tried again.
So we made an appointment window between Noon and 3 p.m. The plumber called at 3:15 and said he was leaving Santa Ana and would be there as soon as traffic permitted. The plumber, 'Fabian' arrived introduced himself took a look at the problem. The home built in the 50's shower /tub faucet was no longer adjusting the temperature. So we agreed he would come back in the morning at 9 a.m. to open the handle and take the part to try to match it. Then he will then come back later in the day to make the repair. The part is original and working on older plumbing is always tricky. He seems like a nice enough person. Fabian gave a rough estimate of best and worst case scenario as this is an older home. I'll update as things progress.
Follow up:
Okay Fabian showed 15 minutes early this morning with a part to see if he could just finish at the time. It didn't fit. He ran to a couple supply stores for the part but ended up having to go to a specially plumbing parts store, Niagara that carries parts for older plumbing. A girl named Rachel gave updates by phone and came by during the process to inform my mom what was going on.
Got the job done including running around to get the correct parts all in all about 3 hours. Including replacing the control and a handle. A couple hundred dollars as quoted I think a reasonable price. Thanks for a job well done.

I recently called Ted & Bros to my house to investigate the possibility of reconnecting a gas line that we had capped off last year. The line fed a pool heater on the far end of the yard. They came out and spent time evaluating the state of my line and the best solution. In the end the plumber felt the line could not be safely reconnected. He was of the opinion that it was wiser to re-run new a new line if we wanted to avoid another leak in the near future. He spent valuable company time taking measurements and coming up with a plan of work and then handed me a quote for the job. In the end I chose not to re-run a gas line (it would be over 100 feet of pipe) and instead turned to solar pool heating.

Ted & Bro's didn't charge me for coming out and looking over the situation. But I know that coming out cost them gas and time. Based on the other reviews I see here on Yelp, I suspect the would have done a great job if I had gone with them. However, my rating here on Yelp is just a way of saying to them You guys didn't get anything out of the time you spent at my house. The least I can do is give you a review. Plus - the no-pressure-opinion-and-quotation is I the best gift a company can give a customer. Thank you Ted & Bro's; you helped me make the best decision. Five stars.

Ted & Bros Plumbing helped us out in a bind. SoCal Gas had unexpectedly come out to do some updates, and at the end of their visit they told us they could not turn our gas back on because there was a gas leak on our side of the gas line in addition to their side. We had no idea who to call and frantically called around for about a day and a half trying to find a gas line repair company that could come out. Most companies told us it would be days or even a week before they could send someone out for an estimate. Then I found Ted & Bros plumbing. Rachel answered my call right away and came out to our house within less than 30 minutes of my call to give us an estimate. Awesome! Based on calls to other companies, we found the Ted & Bros estimate to be fair and reasonable. We selected them to do the work, and within about an hour of our estimate approval they already had the work started! It rarely rains in CA, but of course it rained the day of the repair. The two gentlemen kept working in the rain and into the night/dark to get our gas re-connected that same night. So impressed by their dedication. During the repair, they were also very careful to save as much grass in the repair area of the lawn as possible. We really appreciate that. All three team members we worked with were professional and pleasant. After not having hot water, a working dryer or working stove for almost 48 hours, we were so thankful for their kindness, professionalism and dedication in helping us getting the gas line connected again. We will be having them back to do a camera inspection for our plumbing issues. Definitely recommend them! Thank you Ted & Bros!

If I could give them 1000 starts I would! It is so refreshing to be able to find HONEST AND HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE plumbers! I was having a plumbing nightmare with a broken pipe under the slab of my house. My home warranty company kept on sending plumbers that were either not capable of doing the job or that wanted to broke my whole kitchen in order to fix it. I'm so glad someone recommended me Ted & Bros! Ted was amazing! He explored all options we had to approach the problem and solved it in the best way possible! All the way being highly polite, skillful and after the job was done (and it was a big messy job!!) he left everything spotless! Ted himself came to fix a pinhole leak in a copper line in a downstairs bathroom. He was extremely cordial and quick with the repair, afterwards we chatted it up for a while and had a few laughs. I wanted my stackable washer/dryer moved three feet over to allow more room in the laundry room. That meant removing a good portion of the wall and re-routing the hot/cold water lines in addition to the drain pipe.

Ezekiel, from Ted & Bros came out promptly and completed the job in one afternoon. He was professional, informative, and kind. The area was left spotless. Won't hesitate to call them again for my plumbing needs.

Had the best plumber and customer service experience with these guys. Fabian came out on a Saturday morning to fix our clogged kitchen sink. He was very friendly, on time, and educated me on the issue and best practices for keeping things from going wrong in the future. He even noticed we had a small gas leak in the garage from a bad fitting and repaired it for us before he left. Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had having someone out to the house for any repair. I will be using them again for sure.

This Yelp review is long overdue. I have owned 6 homes in my lifetime, so I've gotten to know quite a few plumbers. By far, Rachel from Ted & Bros. Plumbing is the best in the business. It is so nice to know that I can depend on Rachel when (not if) something goes wrong with my plumbing. I purchased an older home a few years ago. They rescued me when my 2nd floor bathroom sprung a leak into the 1st floor, and they helped me out tremendously with their lightening quick response and working with my insurance. Then when my shower and bath would not work, I called Rachel, and she was quick to respond. Most recently my water heater just stopped working. Rachel was quick to respond as usual, always answers her phone and/or text messages, was honest when I was desperate to take a hot shower, and we went through some procedures to see if we could get the water heater to work in its own. My friends and coworkers were amazed that she wasn't just out to make a buck, she truly wanted to help, and I have to give her extra kudos for that. She went the extra mile to help her customer, good old fashioned, first class customer service, and that means so much to me these days. The water heater works great, my shower works great, no more leaks in the house and I can't thank Rachel and her brothers enough. This company is Highly Recommended.

I am very happy with the service that I received from Ted and Rick.
They texted me ahead of appointment time, after arrived quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. (sound easy but it was major blockage in main sewer line)

I was very impressed his professionalism, knowledge and skill.
Price was super reasonable (full service / camera, hydro jet, re-pipe for custom Y combi clean-out installation)

The next time I need a plumber, he is the one and one and one only.
I highly recommend Ted & Bros Plumbing for any plumbing issue.

I had a slab leak in 2013 and Ted & Bros did a great job locating and repairing the leak in the dining room. He was very courteous and professional in his work. His price was fair. Fast forward to January 2016, we started hearing a humming sound coming out of the pipes in the bathroom. I used my Stethoscope on the pipe and confirmed a familiar sound from 3 years ago. So I called Ted and he came out this Saturday and again found the leak under the slab between the bathroom and closet. He did the repair and cleaned the area. He once again did a great job for a fair price. Highly recommend him.

Decided to try these guys out for the first time after researching a ton of reviews, calling a couple other plumbing companies. Had a drain clean-out need for washer-to-sink back-up issue, older home piping.

I've used three different plumbers over the past 10 years we've owned our house. I can tell you now that I have finally found a plumber I can trust at a VERY reasonable price. I was referred to Ted & Bros by another home owner in our area. I had my water main repaired today and I can tell you that there were several reasons why I will be using Ted & Bros Plumbing from now on. First, they came out the day before and looked over the work needed to get done. They gave me a quote right then and there and eventually came in under that quote. I know not all jobs are probably going to be that way, but they saved me money this time for sure. Rachel is a very good plumber. She arrived to the house on time and did the work in a fraction of the time that they thought it would take. The work looks great and I am very happy I found them. I highly recommend using them. You don't need to worry about being over charged and the work they do is fantastic.

I was referred to Fabian after speaking to him over the phone explaining major water problem in my house, he cane over we did a walk through he explained what caused problem, explained what he would do along with Ted which I met and felt very comfortable i knew we were in great hands! He said since they were going to-do all new re piping through attic to avoid major holes and braking floor cement. He told me this would take about 3 days and boy we were all in shock that Ezekiel came on board to help out to get this job completed faster so we could have our water up and running like a normal family. Thanks to all 3 working as a team the job got done faster, correctly, very professionals, excellent customer service, very efficient, hard workers and the best thing was that the holes that had to be made were so minor that you can't even tell. Everything Fabian told me was going to get installed brand new was done and after job was completed we did another walk through so I could see evey thing that was replaced brand new. We are very happy with their service and work, definitely recommending them to friends and family!

Fabian Lopez initially came by to fix a clogged dishwasher for us. He did fix the problem and even showed me how to fix it again if it happened. Unfortunately, the problem came back and and I wasn't able to remedy the problem myself. I called the office to have Fabian come back out to take a look and he was there within an hour. He came in and took everything apart, cleaned the drain lines and made sure that now the problem was really fixed. He walked me through what he did and was very polite and thorough (as the first time). He did not charge us and even refused to take a tip for his services. I highly recommend Fabian and Ted & Bros plumping. They will be our go to plumbers from now on!

Our water heater started leaking in our garage, and it was clear it was time to replace it. A friend who had recently used Ted & Bros recommended we call them, even though we are in San Clemente. I am very glad we did! Ted came to our house within a few hours and stayed until the job was done perfectly. We opted to replace our tank heater with a tankless model and Ted and his crew were amazing. Smart, professional, hard-working and with a good sense of humor! What more could you ask for? The work was done well above any minimum standards, the install sight looks amazing and they cleaned up everything so the area is actually cleaner than it was before! Tankless installs can throw a few curveballs, so I know the job took longer than they originally expected, but the team stayed until it was done right, and the price quoted did not change. The price was very fair, the work was amazing quality, the job was done right the same day we called--Ted clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and his company! Wherever you are in Orange County, you can't go wrong giving Ted & Bros a call for any plumbing needs.

I'm so happy we contacted Ted & Bros for the plumming issue at our rental. As promised, within a couple of hours they were at the house and isolated the problem. After fixing the issue that flooded the garage downstairs, they promptly removed the drywall to prevent any mold development, set up dryers and a dehumidifier and meticulously cleaned up the site. They made a stressful situation a lot better by the efficiently handling the problem. Three more days of drying and they will restore the drywall....will update you on how that goes!

They had to open an exterior stucco wall to get to the piping and then set us up with a stucco guy to repair it the next day. I was working on a DIY bathroom remodel and needed help relocating the sink and shower water lines, shower drain and installing new plumbing fixtures. Called Ted and Bros for a bid and they were there in a day with a reasonable bid and able to schedule the job quickly to keep me on schedule with the other contractors(hot mopper). The entire team was very professional thoughout the entire process from explaining the work to be done, receiving the bid, scheduling the job, completing the job and leaving the jobsite clean. As good as it gets in terms of service, quality and value. I recently needed some help with a slab leak and chose Ted & Bros based on their reviews being mostly 5 stars. Writing this review has been on my to do list for 2 months, but it was important enough for me to complete it. My wife and I were out of the country and on our way home we had a connecting flight in San Francisco. I had a message from my son saying there was a flood in the garage. our tankless water heater filter burst and it was Monday, July 3rd. I needed a plumber that day or else we would have no water and the next day was a holiday. Rachel did everything possible to make it happen and they came out to fix it and stayed late to get it done. I have been looking for a reliable plumber ever since a high school friend closed down his plumbing business. Ted and Bros. is the best plumbing experience I've ever encountered! Needing a plumber is stressful enough as it is but these guys put me at ease. I had to have all of my water lines replaced and these guys were extremely professional, hard working, and left my house super clean at the end of the day. After everything was replaced, everything worked great with new lines throughout my entire house. Three days later, a separate issue arose with my water heater. Just my luck...of course I called Ted and Bros. They came out on a Saturday afternoon to attempt to fix the water heater. Unfortunately, there was a leak but she was able to clamp the hole temporarily. I'm in the process of purchasing a new water heater and best believe I'm having Ted & Bros. install it. Ted & Bros Plumbing is the only plumbing company we call when we need a plumber! Our first experience was a few years ago right before Christmas. Slab leak!! They came quickly, identified the problem
and offered a rerouting solution vs tearing up my floor and slab. It was perfect.

Today, Ezekiel installed new bathroom fixtures in our newly remodeled master shower. He did an amazing job. Ezekiel was on time, offered me options on how I wanted the new system installed and cleaned up everything when he was done. Perfect all around!

I've been very happy over the years working with this family business.

Highly recommended.

I own a boba shop and was having issues with our 3 compartment sink. Another family friend who also owns a business recommended Ted & Bros and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would never use them again. I left work early to meet them and they didn't show up. Not even a call. When I called plumber said he couldn't make it until 6:00. At 5 a girl shows up and says she is there to fix problem. While trying to fix the problem she caused sewage to overflow all over side of home. Her response was If the home was plumbed properly that wouldn't have happened. She was going to bill me to clean it up. They were to return 2 days later to finish fixing and called me the night before to say they couldn't make it and that they would refer another company.

Good, honest plumbing. These guys came in, detected my problem and fixed it, cleaned up and done.

I saw some discoloration on my floorboards so I called in a company to look into it because it was coming from inside the wall or under my slab. They crawled under my house and ran my water then charged me to tell me I had a leak in the pipe, and not the slab. Cool, but if I called Ted & Bros. from the beginning, I would have got the assessment, a much more detailed report and got the problem fixed for a much more reasonable price.

Fabian from Ted & Bros came in, looked at the pipes, ran a camera and pinpointed the problem where the other company just confirmed the leak and nothing else.

Fabian quoted me the price on the fix which was totally reasonable. I know because I've been burned before. They take cards so it's really convenient.

Their work is clean and they kept me informed every step of the way. No surprises. Fabian also explained why the leak formed. That is the kind of communication I like from this kind of service. They keep their work area clean and overall, they were just awesome and respectful.

They will be my go to for all my plumbing needs from here on out.

They came to change the water pipes in the house. It was estimated that they would be finished in 4 days and finished the job in 1.75 days! They were professional, thorough, orderly and friendly. Long overdue review here. First of all, being a new homeowner is stressful enough. Took a shower one day and felt that the water pressure was off, but didn't think twice about it. Next morning, I find water puddles in light fixtures in the kitchen just below the shower. Rachel & Fabian came out the same day and explained everything they were going to do, and how much things would set me back in the worse case scenario. They were great and Rachel fixed the issue (woohooo!) and they also replaced my water main valve that day (because my overzealous brother broke it while trying to help me). Excellent Service at a reasonable price!
Fabian is a very experienced, knowledgeable professional and is very good at what he does.
I had a draining problem with my downstairs shower and toilet. I made the mistake of going to Home Depot and renting a medium duty snake, I successfully broke the snake off in side the shower drain plumbing and needless to say, didn't solve the draining problem but, made it worse.
Fabian came over within 20 minutes of being called, used his camera to diagnosis the problem, he had my main drain cleared and retrieved the broken snake within minutes.

I had side by side bathroom faucets replaced and would highly recommend Ted & Bros Plumbing, they are reasonably priced (I got multiple quotes) and go the extra mile to do a great and thorough job. Ezekiel was on time, did an excellent removal and installation, and cleaned up everything after the job was done. I want to thank Rachel and the crew of Ted & Bros Plumbing for coming to our rescue! Our shower drain started to overflow. We thought it was just hair clogging our drain; it turns out the roots of one of the two small bushes in our front yard not only broke through our sewer drain and spread throughout the pipe. It was so intense, their plumbing snake got stuck in the broken pipe.

This ended up being a two-day job; they worked until about 10:30pm on Monday and they were back at 8am on Tuesday. Not only did they fix our sewer pipe quickly, but they also removed the bush from our yard. They worked so hard in this heat and humidity; Rachel was also there late at night and throughout the day on Tuesday giving us updates and bringing the guys food. She made this traumatizing experience bearable. Thank you everyone. we just referred you to our next door neighbors.

I had a slab leak and after seeing 5 different plumbers I decided to go with them. When they came home to give me an estimate I felt confident they knew what they were talking about. I called this morning and spoke to Rachel - I explained to her that I wanted a quote for a toilet flange install. Even though she was responsible for scheduling appts I was impressed by the fact that she had field experience and knew what she was talking about. She was easy to work with and scheduled me for a same day appt. The price that she quoted me was fair and competitive.

The tech and co-owner Fabien, arrived on time and inspected my old cast iron flange. He didn't have the correct sized flange so he went out to get the correct one. He did a test fit and sure enough it fit like a glove. Next he had to drill and screw in the screws to attach the flange onto my slab concrete. Turns out he had to get longer screws because the original concrete was drilled/chipped away around the entire edge of the toilet flange lip which created a cavity and the screws had a hard time catching and grabbing onto the concrete. He went out again to get longer screws (his tools and supplies were stolen a week ago so he didn't have everything in his truck) and came back. Unfortunately, the tip of the screws wouldn't catch and was chipping away at the concrete - he tried to drill it in on the side at an angle. He was only able to get 1 screw in on the upper right hand corner and assured me that should be enough to hold the toilet down. He installed the toilet with the wax ring and confirmed there was no leakage. All in all I believed he did the best he could. He said he is giving a 1 year warranty so I'm good with that. My elderly aunt's indoor water heater broke and was leaking. She called Ted & Bro's Plumbing who were able to get to her the same day, within hours. I was very skeptical and had called a couple other plumbers just in case she was being overcharged or they did poor work. (I'm somewhat paranoid) I was amazed with how professional and insanely thorough Ted and Manny were. As soon as they introduced themselves, I felt surprisingly at ease, as if I had known them for years. They explained everything that needed to be done and where extremely efficient. My aunt had asked them to add an additional pan and create an additional drain since the water heater was in her house. Ted did not hesitate and accomplished everything my aunt need plus some. They even vacuumed her carpet by the water heater (and got out a tough stain that had been in her carpet-lol). When the bill came, it was exactly what they had quoted. I was worried that the extra work was going to be expensive and cost my aunt a lot. It did not. They didn't even charge her extra! They went above and beyond and did an amazing job. Ted & Bro's Plumbing is a perfect example of how we, the customer, should be treated and taken care of. They are the only company that will be considered from this point forward. I only wish they served Northern CA because they would be the only plumbers I would ever call.

So Ezekiel showed up this morning to fix some kitchen plumbing issues I had. My first sign that this was a respectable outfit was when he phoned to confirm my address and let me know he was on his way. He was a very young guy, extremely polite and presentable. I showed him the issues and after a bit, he made an assessment, outlined what he was going to do and confirmed that was ok. A few times he called me in to show me what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix the problem. In the end, everything was working wonderfully. He was polite and respectful the entire visit. The price was VERY reasonable for what I got. I'm always a little nervous trying a new company but I would HIGHLY recommend Ezekiel and this company. Thanks so much guys for taking good care of my kitchen. Doesnt even look like anyone was in there.

I had a leak issue coming from a fractured drain pipe above the ceiling of my daughter's bedroom. It was tough cutting through the lath and plaster of my very old house. Fabian patiently looked for the source of the leak and found it.
After a few hours, work was completed, tested new pipe for leaks and work area was cleaned.

3rd estimate as the first 2 companies said in order to fix the leak the house needed a repipe ( the first company WAS my go to when I needed a plumber)

Fabian actually gave us options as the hotwater pipe had a leak that was springing up from concrete inbetween the house and garage - we rolled the dice and went with the most affordable option as the leak was springing up from underneath the concrete so he was honest telling us his best guess of where to drill and he wasn't far off - he was so accomadating that he started working on it after 4 and completed the job

Could not be happier with Ted and crew. I had a leak under the kitchen sink below the floor; Ted diagnosed the cracked pipe and what it would take to fix it. His awesome crew crawled under the raised foundation and worked so hard to replaced the 70 old damaged pipe and did it in only a few hours. I will definitely be using Ted and Bros in future projects. Ted and bros Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company I have hired in the last 50 years since living in Placentia. I needed a complete plumbing inspection for insurance purposes. I found Ted on the OC Register what a great experience it has been. I called the number and actually got a real person to talk to on the phone.Rachel,(the sister) scheduled the bros to come out the next day. As expected I had some plumbing issues, (nothing major to my surprise). Ted gave me a very reasonable quote. I decided to switch out my 16 year old 50 gallon water heater for a tank less, I love it. He replaced a couple toilets, put in a new sink, replaced 5 angle stop valves and various other small projects. Ted and his brother Ezekiel were prompt, courteous, hard working, honest and stayed within the initial quote. If you need a plumber these are your guys. I will never have to look for a plumber again.

Ted and Bro's Plumbing is an upstanding business. It is a family owned business and they do a great job of taking care of their customers. We had them out about a month ago for clogged drains. Our drains were a mess and our pipes were clogged and had roots. Needless to say Ted and his crew are some of the nicest people. We met them all on our project. They give you an estimate, explain exactly what is wrong, explain what needs to be done, provide options, do excellent work, are clean, on time, polite, honest and thorough. One of our sinks was draining slowly. Fabian inspected the main drain with his video camera. He discovered some tree roots growing in the drain that were not causing the current problem but could easily grow to be a problem in the future. He flushed the roots down the drain utilizing a high pressure water stream. Fabian suggested that some point future we consider having the main drain lined to prevent root intrusions. He gave us an estimate and didn't pressure us to have the work done now.

He then determined that our current problem was caused by a very dirty sink trap. Over time it had become so crusted with 'gunk' that it was causing the drain to run slowly. Fabian tried to clean the trap, however, it was too crusted and he replaced the trap and solved the problem.

Fabian was very professional in dealing with our problem. He operated very efficiently and I would call him back for any future plumbing problems. He even suggested how to use the drains to minimize future problems.

I called Ted & Bros Plumbing to replace the Water Pressure regulator and to build 3-way bypass valve for the existing water softener. Ted came on time to give an estimate and the price is reasonable. So I decided to give the job to them and the following week Ezekiel came on time to do the job. He did an excellent job for replacing the existing water pressure regulator and building the 3-way bypass valve. He attach the bracket securely to the exterior wall.
I will use them again definitely in the future since I like their job quality at the end.

I had a slab leak back in 2016 and Ted & Bros Plumbing were extremely ACCURATE in detecting exactly under which of the 18 tiles the leak was located. Therefore, they incurred minimal damage (only breaking 1 tile and carefully removing the other tile in tact) to access the pipe. Since these were 1/2 HEAVY marble tiles, I was very grateful to the limited damage that I needed to afterwards repair). The work was done quickly, within a few hours and with utmost professionalism. They cleaned up after themselves (as there was concrete that needed to be poured after the pipe was fixed) without complaint. Ted & Bros Plumbing were quick to fit me into their schedule last minute. They were also very accommodating, very friendly, and moderately priced. I shopped around and it seemed that other plumbers were trying to take advantage of consumers by charging much more in leak detection & much more in repair and also were giving themselves a much larger margin for leak detection accuracy failure. I would definitely recommend Ted & Bros Plumbing as they seemed the most sincere as well - Thank you!

I had a clog in my main pipe where water would just gush out from the downstairs toilet. It was a Saturday and I called these guys and they were able to send a guy out in less than an hour. Ezekiel came and was able to diagnose the problem and had it fixed in no time. I would definitely recommend these guys. They are a family owned business but do work like a true professional.

Ok so here is a quick backstory we where at our vacation home and I went downstairs to discover water coming out of our kitchen cabinets! So I reached out to my sis-in law and asked if she had any recommendations because she lives in the area. We called 8 companies, all said they where busy and could not come out until 3 days later, which was not going to work. So on my 9th call we found Ted & Bros and man we were thrilled! Ted & Bros came to the rescue the same day. Plus they arrived EARLIER than expected. The Crew we had where really amazing guys, they where professional, told us what they thought the issue was and what we could be looking at in terms of cost, which we appreciated! So if your still reading this the issue was, what we had thought was a small rust spot on the tub drain turned into a rusted out tub drain that could not be seen until it was taken out, but wait there is more. The rust area around the drain actually cracked the cast iron tub. SOOOOO Ted & Bros did all they can do for now and we are grateful ! So now begins the bathroom remodel we have been putting off. So long story short DONT IGNORE THE RUST SPOT IN YOUR TUB! Plus if your ever in a THOUGH SPOT GIVE TED & BROS a SHOT! (Yes, I made it Rhyme) Thanks again TED & BROS!

Ted & Bros did a great job. He was prompt, friendly and efficient.

We are doing an outdoor remodel and we had Ted remove some old gas lines and then re-plumb new lines for an outdoor kitchen and firepit. He also ran new lines for our pool heater. He was a part of a big project having to coordinate with other trades (pool guy, paving company, etc) and timing was critical. He showed up exactly when he was supposed to, in fact, he came a little early and swiftly got the entire project complete.

We will definitely be using him again!

Fabian came out to my house the next day, very prompt and professional, gave me free quote, seem reasonable and got to work the next day. Everything was explained along the way, didn't mind any questions, finished the work beautifully as promised! The work involved removing a section of rusted gas line, removing a non-code section of pvc, and removing a rigged connection the previous owners had hidden. I wish I took pictures to show the before and after. I'm thankful as I feel safe at my home again. I would use Ted Bros again!!

I called you after reading reviews to take care of a big issue my 81 year old mother was having. I am two hours away and needed someone who would not take advantage of her. It is really scary to trust someone to come into your mothers home, rip out a floor and do some major work.

We had a giant excavating job in the front yard. Main pipe from the city source to our house had to be replaced. The ground is very rocky and difficult too. Ted and Danny were the lead guys, their sons David and Daniel helped. My mother-in-law (who is not ever happy with any work we get done on the house) was actually pleased (I didn't think I would live to see her satisfied with any help we hired for anything!!!) Hard-working, very pleasant, patient, nice guys, fast, timely, professional.... and the clean-up after all the dirt and rocks, we couldn't believe how they put the yard back together, even saved as many of the plants as possible despite how extensive this job was. It is so good to know of excellent plumbers.

My parents & I continue to use them as our first choice plumbers. They are excellent at what they do! They are honest & I always feel confident in believing them when they diagnose a plumbing problem (probably because they have also let me know when there is not a problem). They are super nice and I always look forward to seeing them (even though if that means I am having a plumbing issue). ;)

I was having drainage issues in my home and so I found Ted & Bro's on yelp. I called them up and they had an opening the same day. Come to find out that i had a broken main drain (which they showed me from pictures underneath my home) and that nearly all of my drains were plumbed incorrectly from the flippers i purchased from [yeah big shocker there] so they gave me a quote to repipe my entire home. I checked around and they were better priced than most and with their reviews i said what the heck and gave them the job. They got the job done quickly and their whole crew was awesome! Ted, Fabian, Ninfa.. all of them were very knowledgeable, courteous and honest! So much so that they ended up doing a few other fixes i needed later! They are my go to for anything plumbing related from now on!

We were referred to TED and Bros by my neighbor. Imagine my surprise when I opened my door and saw a female. She said, I know! I replied that I was thrilled. Rachel has been and will remain our ONLY plumber, and her brothers. Pretty sure it has now been three to four years. Rachel has handled ALL plumbing issues for our rentals and our own residence. No job is too small or too big, they handle it all! Rachel goes above and beyond for sure. She explains the problems or explains what needs to be accomplished to find the problem and how long it will take. Rachel, and her brothers, are always on time. There have been times when other customers have bigger issues than mine and I always get a call and I am asked if I wouldn't mind them coming later or rescheduling. I appreciate that they are honest and prioritize for their customers. I always refer this company. I also say proudly, and my plumber is a female! Having a busy life, like most, I let them know how to enter my properties. The job is completed and all cleaner than when they arrived. This is a wonderful company that knows their stuff. My husband and I were extremely fortunate to be referred to Ted & Bros Plumbing to replace the main water line to our home. We got three bids, and Ted's was very competitive. Plus he volunteered to come on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend so that we could continue our driveway construction the following week which had been stalled because of the broken main water line. Ted and his team were absolutely awesome.
They arrived on time and were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and just down right nice guys! Hard, conscientious workers, too! It was a very big job - took 12 hours! Ted's team persisted

Such a great experience from start to finish. After getting the run around from another plumber that made 3 site inspections without making any repairs, Ted & Bros was called. Fabian arrived on time, explained exactly what he was going to do so we could have the answers needed to proceed and decide on work to be performed. Very professional, down to tarping the floors in the house and wearing booties (and masks of course). They performed video inspection, removed roots growing under toilet (pictured), found and dug out clean outs and finally hydro-jetted sewer line to clear roots 70' from the house near the sidewalk. I highly recommend them!

Ted & Bros Plumbing is now our go to plumber. Since our house was built in 1924, over the last 30 plus years, we've dealt with a lot of contractors. Typically, we have to call five (5) or more, just to be able to get three (3) valid quotes, in order to hire one (1).

Rachel, who is actually Ted's sister and business partner, runs the office, is in charge of the customer experience and is also a plumber herself. No wonder she was able to understand and quickly answer both our technical and administrative questions. Unlike other contractors, the Certificates Of Insurance we requested were promptly emailed to us and hadn't already expired. Rachel was great about following up, without ever giving us the hard sell treatment.

After gaining years of experience as a master plumber, about 12 years ago, Ted founded the company. Today, he and Rachel personally oversee and coordinate several trucks/crews. One (1) of which is specifically equipped for installing trenchless sewer liners. Due to tree roots repeatedly getting into the joints of our old clay sewer pipes, this is what we hired them to do. And, we're so glad we chose them. Not only was the work professionally performed but they didn't destroy our plants or damage our sprinklers. Plus, they cleaned up so well that you would never know someone dug a four (4) feet deep hole right in the middle of one (1) of our planter boxes.

The motto of Ted & Bros Plumbing is We Honestly Plumb. And, we believe it. When we originally called them, we provided the maximum length of the sewer line that we were quoted by another plumber. About half way through the job, without us even bringing it up, they informed us that our actual cost would be $1,000 less, due to the length of the liner being several feet shorter than what we told them.

Bottom Line - Ted & Bros Plumbing is licensed, qualified, experienced, competent, reliable, friendly, polite, competitively priced and honest. We've already recommended them to two (2) of our neighbors.

My main line was totally clogged with roots. Dirty water was backing up in my tub and my toilet would not flush. I hired Ted & Bros to clear the line. They charged a hefty fee, only to penetrate a small hole in the clog (to drain the water) and run a camera through the line. I was told that they would have to use a high pressure water jet to clear the line and that they would not be available to do the work until 4 days later. They quoted me an outrageous price!

I then called another plumbing company and got to talk to the owner to get a second opinion. He told me that a water jet is not necessary to clear the line and in fact there was significant risk that my bathroom could be flooded by high velocity water backing up and overflowing my toilet. They came out sharply at 8:00 AM the next morning and cleared the line in about an hour. I ended up paying around one third of total cost had I followed through with Ted & Bros.

Had a hot water pipe leak in my home, we were recommended to Ted And Bros because they have leak detection equipment. Right away we could see that Ted knew what he was doing, he was clean polite and prompt. Took him less than 10 minutes to locate the leak, after he submitted a bid I asked him when could he do the repair and he said tomorrow morning, which was a Saturday.. I was impressed that he would preform the work right away. Hired Ted and Brother Ezekiel. Showed up in the morning at 9 AM sharp they were clean well equipped and very careful preforming the repairs. They finished early and repaired the cartridge in my shower... Ted and Bros - Ezekiel are the nicest most thoughtful plumbers I have had the pleasure to meet. I desperately needed a plumber for a leak in the ceiling and I found Ted & Bros. I didn't hesitate to call because I saw all the 5-star reviews and it's safe to say I was very underwhelmed...

The technician came out to replace the pipe and during the process, created two major holes (bigger than necessary) and replaced a small section of the pipe and charged me almost 1k. We thought the problem was resolved but a couple of days later, the water leak continued.

I spoke with a female receptionist and she explained that it wasn't their responsibility if it was a leak that they didn't fix initially. I was so confused because I had hired them to assess and diagnose the situation properly and the leak was coming from the same area where the pipe was fixed.

Thankfully, the technician did come back and point out where the leak was which was the surrounding area but I wondered why it wasn't picked up on during the initial assessment. It's been a little frustrating dealing with something that could have been figured out but I would think twice and do more shopping before you choose to work with them.

This is the second time I've had Ted and Bros Plumbing do a job for me. The first time I had Ted and his son come out. Ted was efficient, professional and fairly priced. Today I had his brother, Ezekiel, out to do a more extensive job. Ezekiel did an amazing job. He communicated with us the entire time. When he was done everything was perfect! This really is a company you can trust. I recommend them without hesitation and will be using them when my water heater dies which, judging by the sounds it's making, could be any day now.

Nothing makes a homeowner feel more inept than a plumbing problem, especially when you find water coming up through the floor of your house. This is what happened to us, and as past experiences with plumbers had been less than optimal, we were at a loss about who to call to help find and fix the problem. We only knew things are bad when you start seeing water come up through your tile floor

Enter Ted & Bros Plumbing.

They were recommended to us by a friend who has used them in the past for his property management company. Ted and his crew spent a lot of time finding the specific tile under which the offending leak was occurring. The equipment they used was high tech, and they were very proficient at using it to map out the myriad of pipes under our floor. Once found, the digging began, which sounds bad, but we could not even imagine another plumbing company attempting the repair.

It took a few days, but Ted and his crew cordoned off the area, were super clean, on time, and updated us along the way on the progress. Their entire team was courteous, professional, and very friendly. Just good guys who really enjoy what they do, which was evident in the pride they take in their work.

So, I will still feel inept whenever I encounter a plumbing problem, but I have found the company I will call every time going forward...Ted & Bros. A trustworthy company, fair pricing, and just great service all around.

Ezekiel totally took advantage of us when he told his friends, our tenants, that he could replace a leaky shower/tub valve for $100 plus parts. He was supposed to call when purchasing parts to get our input /approval on what parts he would select for the job. He didn't call to get our ok or opinion on parts, then charged $375 for the shower/tub handle valve. Where on earth does a good name brand shower/tub valve/handle cost more than $120.00 retail, and he is a plumber so he gets wholesale prices on parts?!? He lied outright about the cost of the parts, because he figured he'd screw us over, and as good landlords making a repair to the plumbing for our tenants, we'd be forced to pay whatever he charged. So a leaky shower/tub handle/valve cost us $475.00 to repair for our rental unit. Liar! Liar! Dishonest Liar!
