Best Leak Detection in Anaheim CA
Today Daniel installed a new 50 gal water heater to replace mine that started leaking last nite.
I quoted 6 different companies, and his was one of the more competitive offers. But what made me choose him over the others was the time he took to understand my situation and offer the best solution...for me. All the while he literally educated me on water heaters to help me feel confident in my decision.
Daniel showed up exactly at the the time he promised. His price he quoted is the price I paid. But none of that was the best part.
The best part was, he identified each item of my old water heater that was not to code and in fact dangerous. He essentially rebuilt the components around it to bring it up to code. That I appreciated very much.
Lastly, as I reviewed the work he did. He was very meticulous in all the details of everything he did. Being OCD, it's something I took notice of very quickly.
I absolutely recommend Daniel and his company to anyone who simply wants an honest, knowledgeable and fair professional to take care of plumbing issues for one of the most important life investments; our homes.

Last October, our whirlpool water heater went out. B&B came out and charged us $120. The part was under warranty, but they had to order it they came back and charged us another $120 to install it.
Yesterday, the water heater went out again with the same symptoms. On B&Bs receipt, they guaranteed their work for one year. However, I was told I would need to pay $165,for them to come out.
Nice guarantee. Will never use these guys again, although their service people were nice

Our brand new dryer didn't seem to be drying and the gas man just said call a plumber. Justin was awesome! He went above and beyond trying to figure out what the problem was. He took care of everything and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. My brand new dryer works like a champ now!

Prompt and professional. Unfortunately the representative said the job would be $79 over the phone, but charged $99 even though it was under a 10 minute drain snaking (exactly what was agreed upon over the phone).

Hot day and of course AC stopped working! Between my wife and kids complaining, I had to do something. I call 4 different places and no luck. I called Complete plumbing and heating and they saved me! Mike J ( owner) was out in 45 min, checked the AC unit and right away knew the problem. In less than an hour my AC was working again and for a good price. Thank you again Mike! I will keep your card handy and recommend you to anyone I know who needs your service.

Almost like clock work, my old copper pipes sprung a leak. It happens every year. This time I wasn't going to patch it up. After asking for a few local plumbers in my area a friend recommended Right Choice Plumbing. Jorge came out and gave me a great deal on redoing the plumbing in my house and servicing my Tankless water heater and is scheduled to change out three toilets. No job to big or small for these guys. Definitely going to use them for my other properties.

We are doing a kitchen remodel and needed our sink drain pipe replaced. Called plumber Rick and he arrived promptly the next morning and had the old one removed and the new one installed in under an hour! Very reasonable pricing too. Super nice guy, hard worker & trusted him in my home. Look no further if you need a reliable, HONEST plumber!

Our family has been using Trusty Plumbers for quite some time. The company did an amazing job re-piping our home after a fire. Mitch, the owner, had wonderful advice on what to do, and we couldn't be happier. Recently we had a need and they were quick to dispatch technicians to our home. Glen and Kasey did a wonderful job. Even took some time to check around the home and make sure our faucets and everything were ok. Can't say enough about the owners. Mitch and Charlene Clemmons are fantastic individuals who love what they do and offer great customer service. We always recommend Trusty Plumbers to our friends and family.

Prodigy plumbing was very courteous and came out to clear our drain on a hot Sunday afternoon. Steven, our technician, cleared our drain but unfortunately, it looks like it's a bit more work needed for clearing the sewer to the street. We need to think about what to do next since it will cost a small fortune. Thank you Steven for coming out on this hot day.

I had an unused under-the-sink shutoff valve go bad and it began to slowly leak, so we had a plumber come out to replace the valve. This is something I would normally tackle on my own, however, our domestic water connection supplies two attached units/neighbors and I did not want to have them go without water for an extended period of time in case I needed to make an extra trip to the parts store during the replacement.
I was out of town during the time of the install and my wife was home during the service. She watched the clock and noted that the job took about 15 minutes start to finish - let's call it 20 minutes max to be generous/safe. When I came home, the valve was replaced with a new one and everything appeared to be dry.
Here's where the issues begin for me. I reviewed the invoice to find that the fee is $152.66 for this repair. Wow, that's awfully steep for a 20minute (max) job. I decide to give the plumber the benefit of the doubt and review the invoice to see where this fee came from - how much time did he say he spent, how much was the part, etc.
While the paper invoice has a dedicated section to Time Detail, there is no information filled into the boxes about start time, stop time, or time spent. There is no information about the cost of the replacement part. So I called their contact number after hours and left a message requesting a call back.
Cut to the follow-up. I receive a call back from Herb himself. He let's me know that the new shut-off valve was about $15 plus tax and his labor cost was $132. I inquire if they bill by the hour or by the job, to which he responded they do not bill hourly. I let him know that we kept track of his time and that it took about 15 minutes from start to finish, 20 minutes tops. If I extrapolate 20 minutes @ $132 (which excludes cost of the part) to an hourly rate, that works out to $396/hr. I plainly told him that 400/hr is not a reasonable hourly rate and 150 dollar fee for this job was exorbitant. Herb said that I would have been welcome to do the job myself. When I asked if $400/hr is a typical plumber's billing rate, he said it depends on one's perspective. He also said that it costs money to drive trucks around. He would not adjust the price in any manner.
Did the job get finished? Yes. Am I aware that companies need to make money and probably have minimum callout fees? Absolutely. Did the paperwork/documentation of the repair stink? Yes. Was the pricing exorbitant? Herb says no and I say yes. You can decide for yourself.
