Best Faucet Installation in Columbus OH

Discount Drain Plumbing Service
I really wanted to like this company. However when they replaced my hot water tank several months ago, unbeknownst to me, to make the new, larger unit fit, the tech shortened my washer drain. In doing so, the washer drain isn't tall enough anymore to properly drain, and there is a deeply curved 'trap', (that wasn't there before), that causes the water to rush back up and out of the drain. I had asked the tech at the time about all the 'left over' PVC pipe pieces, but he'd assured me it was from the old tank- when in fact it was actually my working washer drain that he'd removed and replaced with a shorter pipe, with a very curved 'trap'. He did this in order to make the new tank easier to install, he failed to reassemble the drain properly after removing it to install the tank.
The back of the washer/drain/hoses/etc. are all in a separate room than the front of the washer. It's accessed clear on the other side of the house through a tiny door next to the fridge in the kitchen. I've went in there once to change my furnace filter months ago. I noticed the concrete floor was a bit 'damp', so I put a damp-rid in the room and thought nothing more about it- bottom line, my washer has been draining into this small utility room and flooding for months! There is actually mold on one of the wall studs now! I'd noticed my new flooring warping near the furnace intake vent, but couldn't understand why. It's the only place in the house that my new flooring is warped, chipping. I know now it's from the water leaking under the furnace in the utility room and seeping under the laminate flooring!

Am I stupid for not realizing this sooner- yes, I admit I am. Is Discount Drains responsible for their tech tampering with, and ruining my washer drain- yes, yes they are! They are also responsible for the mold that occurred and the small area of warped flooring as a result of their mistake.
I have contacted them, and I was told they are sending someone out to, dispute the mold. Not a very courteous response at all! If they repair/replace the washer drain so it functions properly as it did before they ruined it, and address the mold they caused as well as replacing the affected floor boards, I will remove this post, however if they refuse to repair the washer drain that their tech ruined, and clean/repair the mold, replace flooring, I will have no choice but to litigate for damages and will continue to strongly suggest not doing business with this company! I trusted them to do the job right, and instead they caused damage to my home with their incompetence! I'm super disappointed both in their workmanship and response to my issue!

I called John (the owner) up and told him that I was trying to save money and that a buddy of mine would install a flood overflow valve in basement instead of using John ( Plumbing One). Big Mistake on my part!!!! Long story short my buddy drop 2 flood valve into my drain and I called John and he told me that he would come down himself to take care of it. 1st off mine you he's the owner and taking his time out to come down and take care of a problem that I cause which John was nice enough to volunteer to help out. John came down and fix all of my plumbing problems with the help of Paul which he called later on because he needed a certain tool that he didn't have in hand. G & M Plumbing & Heating Inc Plumbing Service
We had water hammer, I thought, or at least loudly banging pipes.  Started happening after we had a new high-efficiency washer installed, so I blamed that.  But it turned out to be more of an underlying issue that the new washer (and the way they installed it) brought to the surface.

These folks were super helpful on the phone, and easy to schedule when I wanted them to come.  Not a rush, so it took about a week.  They probably could have come sooner but we were busy and it wasn't an emergency.  Plumber showed up on time, laidback, friendly, knowledgeable, patient with our dogs and cats.  He ended up securing a bunch of our pipes.  60 year old house, so many had come loose or had one screw, and the washer installers had messed with things a bit at that end.  No noise now.

Price was reasonable.  Glad it turned out to be a relatively easy fix.  Definitely keeping them in mind for next time.

Hesson Plumbing Plumbing Service
One of the best contractor and technician services I have ever hired on my home. I live in an older area of town with older homes over 75 years old. Plumbing is always an issue. Greg and Chris were prompt, professional, fairly priced and extremely efficient. You can trust these guys over the bigger franchises to give you excellent service. My drains are old and they camera'd and scraped and the issue was over! Fast! Easy! So grateful! I would use them for any plumbing issue.

Affordable Professional Plumbing Plumbing Service
The business title says most everything, but I'd also add good communication and easy to work with. I was needing some work done on a property I was selling, and the company responded promptly to my inquiry on Yelp to help me gage the cost of the repair. The actual cost was slightly elevated because of increased complexity, but overall I was still satisfied on affordability and professionalism.

CLB Plumbing Plumbing Service
Chris was awesome! He came out same day for a service call ($75 or waived if you get the job done) to my hot water tank. I explained the issue over the phone and he knew what I was talking about right away. He called me to asked if he could come early, which I was elated about.

He looked at it and immediately knew it was giving off an error code. He took the time to do some research, made some calls, found the part, and took the time to explain what was wrong, what it would cost, and what this repair was like in comparison to other things going wrong with the tank. Of all the things to go wrong, this issue was the least costly, but Chris was honest with me, letting me know he couldn't guarantee, with the age of the tank, that something else might not go wrong with it and once it leaks, it has to be replaced.

I asked him what he would do and he told me with this, he would do the repair and let it ride, but if it was anything else he'd replace the tank. Having just gotten burned by trying that method with my garage door, I was worried to just repair it and Chris took the time to inspect the tank and give me a honest opinion of it's current state and told me he felt confident in the repair and the tank would likely last a few more years, which was great news. When i asked him to quote me a new one, his quote was $400 less than another company who came out a few months ago for another issue that involved a mouse nest.

He got the part overnighted for me so I wouldn't have to go long without hot water and he came over the next day and had it up and running in less than an hour.

He even checked out a toilet filler that was acting weird for me and gave me good advice on replacing it with the same thing and not getting a fancy filler because they have more problems.

I would recommend Chris for any plumbing need for honestly and reasonably priced, fast service.

Michael fit us in quickly, arrived on time, and quickly fixed our leaky sink. As I suspected, the disposal needed to be replaced.  I will always call McDemott Plumbing when we have an issue.  Friendliest and most professional plumber we've ever hired.

Apex Plumbing, Heating, and Air Pros Plumbing Service
Robert Whitney and his crew came out yesterday to service our water main as it had had a slow leak when we just acquired the house. As a first time home buyer, I was at first worrisome over how long the project would take or if anything may extend it/make it worse, but Robert and his crew alleviated any fears I had by explaining the process, keeping us apprised as needed and being very diligent. They even showed us how important is was to take care of our leak when they found a hole further down the line. This crew deserves a raise and Apex deserves yours consideration if you are looking for any water line work. They were awesome! Would work with again!! Just a shame I can only give 5/5 when they deserve 6/5!!!

The Eco Plumbers Plumbing Service
I had water coming up through my floor drain in the basement and I asked my plumber friend about it. He said I probably have a main drain backed up but he didn't have the equipment to fix it so I'd have to call someone. He said it was likely roots growing in my pipes.
Eco Plumbers advertises $93 or its free* (please note the asterisk). As others have pointed out, this is a bait-and-switch. It's only $93 for the main drain. But that's what I needed so all good. The first team of techs show up and tell me it's NOT the main drain, but the floor drain and that'll be $319. Now, I could call around and get some prices or have these guys do it now. I stupidly opted to have them do it. They worked on it for about an hour and a half and then decided it was the main drain and there were tree roots in it. Thought I told them that from the beginning but whatever. Clear it out. Well, now I have some options.
I can either have these two guys, who are conveniently here RIGHT NOW Hydro-jet it out for the low low price of $1150 (national average for such a service is $300-600) or they could call the DRAIN GUY and he can do it for $93. Umm...I thought these guys ARE the drain guys. This could have been a much better review if they had sent the right guy the first time.
I should have called someone else at this point but I told them to get the drain guy out. He showed up a few hours later and was able to clear it for the advertised $93 but he left the basement a mess that I had to then clean up.
The next day, they sent out a camera guy (for free) and he showed us everything going on with our drain. He was actually really nice and seemed knowledgeable, but then he dropped the hammer: he told us we are a candidate for some sort of liner for the even lower cost of $14,000. OR we could have it hydro-jet cleaned for $1150. GTFO. If I do get it hydro-jetted, it won't be from these guys. I'll find someone who can do it cheaper.

Mr. Handyman of E. Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna Plumbing Service
Use caution and get a second opinion when dealing with this business!

I contacted Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna get an estimate to have a 10 square foot bathroom shower floor retiled. I was asked to send in a picture of the floor, which I did. Much to my shock, the estimate came back as a three-day job for $6,000 - $7,000!!!! I was told that they'd have to tear up the shower step-in, the tub underneath the tile and the subfloor. I said that I only wanted to have the tile redone and their response was that it was the same price as they were planning on having to rip out the subfloor (and all this from a picture!). I asked if they charged $1,500/hour and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job.

I just had a professional tiler look at the shower floor, and he estimated the job at $250. Quite a difference! Just to be sure I was comparing apples to apples, I asked him about the tub underneath the tile as well as the subfloor. He said that there was no need to touch any of that and went on to say that there's a special glue that can be used to overlay the new tile on top of the old tile. The gentleman I am now dealing with has been a tile installer for 30+ years and comes highly recommended by several people I know. Care to guess who I'll be going with?

My entire exchange with Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna was done via texting, so I have a written copy of it all. I'm not sure what would possess someone to quote a job that is 2,400% - 2,800% higher than normal, but it only takes a couple of uninformed customers to make these ludicrous prices pay off.

Emergency Plumbing Heating & Air Plumbing Service
I wish I could say enough good things about Emergency Plumbing Service. The drain in our basement overflowed due to a blockage and I had them come to my house. It was the first time something like this would happen to me and I was a bit panicked and agitated. They didn't lose their cool and gave me a first class phone and in person experience. Not only did they get the basement which was about 5 inches deep in water completely drained but they also got my water heater to start working again. They saved me thousands of dollars and I don't know what I would have done without them. Chris and Jen you are both fantastic and so are your employees!

A. Friend Plumbing Plumbing Service
My husband and I had a leaky faucet  in our bathtub. A. Friend Plumbing was able to come next day to fix it. We weren't able to be home at the time, and gave him permission to enter. He did a fantastic job and left no mess. The only suggestion I would make is to have him leave a note describing what he did if the homeowner isn't home.

Weeks Plumbing Plumbing Service
We had a severely clogged toilet with a suspected toy being the problem. Service techs were very polite and worked quickly to discover the issue. Turns out we needed a new toilet. Back within a few days to install one we purchased ourselves to save some $$. When I thought maybe I still had an issue a few days  after the work was completed, they came right back out and explained what the issue was (wasn't related to the original work done) and didn't charge me for the follow up and maintained their friendly, professional attitude throughout the process. I will definitely call them back for any future issues and would recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber!

Fritz Baumann & Sons Plumbing Service
The receptionist was incredibly helpful. And multiple other companies tried to tell me that a plumber was not the person to call for my issue of my under counter sink falling from the granite. They were more than happy to come out to take a look though. Shaun (or Sean?) came out and had it fixed in about an hour. I came back from running an errand, he was all done, and had even put all my cleaning supplies back under the sink. Priced very reasonably too. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Columbus Plumbing Plumbing Service
I read the other reviews on their page, they may be good at plumbing, but not at showing up. I was quoted a two hour window two days in a row, the first day I waited 4 hours and had to leave, they contacted me and offered a discount of the inconvenience and quoted a two hour window for the next day, again, a no show. Unless you have a lot of time to wait around, wouldn't recommend these guys.
