Our water heater broke and Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable in getting it replaced. Service was very quick and professional. He inspected the situation the night before and he and his team were able to get it all replaced and running the next day!

Hot water slab leak! Talked to Michael on Saturday and received good general information and options. Leak was verified by CPL on Monday. Isaiah came on time Wednesday. He worked to understand the issue and how I wanted resolved. Got right to work, even squeezing into a small crawl space under our interior stairs where the manifold was located. Later he called Garrett to help things move even more quickly. Capped the leaking pipe and repiped neatly with a new copper line. Was it cheap....of course not, it is plumbing! But the price was fair, the process was quick and clean and it could have been much worse. We will us this company again if other plumbing issues arise. These were nice, friendly professionals.

Two examples:

1) The bid for the major job was exactly what I was charged. No extras thrown in right before the bill pay.

2) By accident I made the check out for 150 more than the charge. They cut me a refund check and sent in the mail.

That is what integrity looks like to me.

Also, I used another company for the sewer scoping (Xtreme Drainworks) before I bought my house because they were a bit cheaper and had similarly great yelp reviews. I was really sorry I did that because that other company missed cracks in the pipe and told me the line was in good condition for its age. Fast forward 2 months after sale and the same video revealed to more careful eyes cracks in the sewer pipe. These cracks meant replacing the old cast iron, which Huyen did in a timely and cost efficient manner.

I was having a problem with my faucet in my laundry room. The cartridge to the hot water valve needed to be replaced. Auriello came out to quote out the job for me.
The quote was fair and despite some complications, he was able to perform the work within a very short period of time (maybe 15 minutes - if that).
I was very pleased with his professionalism, his attention to detail, and the skill of the repair. While it might not be the most complicated job, the price was fair and he treated me with the same respect as someone requesting a much more expensive repair.
I will definitely be calling A&B immediately when I have plumbing needs in the future.

Chris the owner of Acculine Leak Detection saved the day for me.  I had a bad water leak under my house that was costing me $100s a day from the gas and water department.  He came out the day I called him and gave me a competitive bid.  He explained everything to me in easy to understand terms and I trusted him immediately.  I am disabled in a wheelchair on a low income and a severe emergency for me as I had to turn the water off.  He came the next day with the equipment to find the leaks and checked the entire house.   He started work that day with an assistant and they worked two full days to reroute the pipes through the attic which also saved me much money.  It was in El Cajon, CA which is extremely hot so it was a very difficult job.  He is friendly, kind, caring, very respectful, He is  professional and really knows his trade. I want to recommend Joyce Plumbing to anyone that has a tough plumbing job to do.  I've never seen two harder working brothers in my life.

Joyce plumbing has been taking care of the large plumbing assignments for our condo HOA for several years.  Some of their outside of the box solutions have saved us thousands of dollars.

Most recently, we had a bad slab leak in one of our buildings.  The detection service that the HOA choose missed the spot completely.   However, Justin Joyce just kept going, for 11 hours straight with that jackhammer, until he finally located the leak.  

During those eleven hours of hard sweaty work, Justin kept a very calm and positive attitude, which must have been difficult considering the situation.  His brother John was always available with that special tool, or advice on what to do next.

From now on, we'll always call Joyce Plumbing first, for a small or big job!  Thanks Justin and John!

I called in the morning and received same day service. Gustavo came, he took care of my clogged drain and installed a new sink for me. He was professional,  friendly  and kept me informed.  He even discovered a problem and fixed it. I highly recommend ASAP

Service was amazing. I thought we had a big problem but Blaine (new owner of the Company) came over to check it out and diagnosed the issue in no time. He fixed our issue on same day at a very reasonable price.
He is by far the best plumber I have hired. He even took the time to explain and show me what he was fixing along the way and cleaned up after. Bottom line, he is outstanding. A gentleman. Knows everything there is to know in the plumbing business. Highly professional, extremely courteous, prompt and always had a smile on his face. After suffering a second pinhole leak in the copper pipes in the walls I realized the only long term solution was to get my house repiped. I contacted several well known (due to TV commercials) contractors in the area and received quotes that I felt were much higher than I anticipated. One contractor didn't even show up for the estimate.
I contacted Ameri-Cal and Toby got right back to me. Within a day I had an estimate that I felt was much more in line as to what I thought the project was worth. The reviews here helped give me the confidence to go with Ameri-Cal.
To say I am extremely satisfied with the work is an understatement. The crew showed up on time on the day of the installation, shut the water off around 9:00 am and the piping was complete and water back on at 5:00 that same afternoon. The reason they didn't turn the water off until 9:00 was that they spent over an hour handing tarps and covering furniture so as to contain the dust as much as possible. When they finished they left the house as clean as they could.
The second day the inspector came and signed off on the project with no issues.
The third day the second crew came early in the morning and completed the drywall repair. Also an exceptional job.
As with other reviews for this company I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of repair. It was stressful to have it done but now that it is I can sleep much better knowing I'm not going to wake to a puddle in my living area.

Our toilet was backed up. I called Mr. Rooter plumbing and was prepared to be told it would take a few days for a service call. Most other companies think people don't need their toilets for many days. Much to my surprise, they scheduled a service call to my home for the same day!!!! Doug Higbee came promptly as scheduled and got right to work. He fixed the stoppage and told me how to prevent it in the future. He also (at no extra charge) showed me how to reduce build up in the toilet tank and the bathroom sink pipes. He went way beyond was was required for the call. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This will be my go-to company for any future plumbing problems. Thanks for great service.

I called Best Choice Drains and Plumbing and they showed up within 30 minutes. Plumber was very nice and explained the problem. The problem was fixed within 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with the price and how fast my problem was taken care of.

ok, so here it goes. another bait and switch plumbing company........UGH :(

I called and then used this company due to good reviews and also because they told me that the service call fee (39.00 bucs I think) would be waived if I used them to do services. I thought that's cool because Andersons does not waive service fee if you use them plus Andersons is WAY expensive, but at least they tell you upfront. I should have listened to my gut when the lady on the phone with Perry's would not quote me the cost for a simple drain snaking; reputable companies will do this- the 'free' service fee is just to entice you to use them - believe me, when all is said and done it is not free at all!.... Well, like I thought all I needed done was to have my bathroom sink snaked due to slow but not completely blocked drainage. I do have to say that the gentleman that came out was very polite and professional - this is the only reason I gave two stars...He did the job but the bathroom sink snaking cost me 180.00 bucs !!!!! This is 40.00 MORE than Andersons which we knowledgeable homeowners know is one of the costliest companies in town! Now here is the part that really upsets me. He refused to warrantee the work which other companies ALWAYS do. Well guess what? The sink is slow again, has developed a leak where pipe was messed with (was absolutely not leaking before)and now my bathtub is completely blocked up! On a side note- I asked how much out of curiosity how much they would charge to fix a leaky gasket in my older toilet tank and he quoted me almost 300.00 dollars! The gasket piece can be purchased at home depot for 5-8 bucs!!!!!!  So, to make a long story short, they took me for 180.00 bucs and created more issues for me :(

A big BOO and HISS here, call around if you need services, ANYONE will be cheaper!
