On a Sunday afternoon, the hot water faucet in our kitchen failed and angle stop for the hot water did not work. Luis from Perry diagnosed the problem instantly, turned of the hot water to the building and capped the hot water input. All in the space of 15 minutes. We were having a contractor begin work the very next morning on remodeling our kitchen including a new sink and faucet, so this plumbing issue was very inconvenient. Luis only charged us for a service call which was very reasonable. Without his quick work, we would have faced expensive delays in the planned work. We have used Perry exclusively for 15 years for all of the plumbing in our condo and for all of the common area plumbing. They have always been quick, reliable and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company.

Ricardo came out to put in a main pressure regulator as we did not have one and main pressure from the street was way too high. This is not the first time I have used Perry plumbing and as always, they were professional and courteous and knew what they were doing. Perry Plumbing has been doing a major project in our 200+ unit condo building for the past several weeks. The project has required a lot of coordination with residents as every single unit has needed to be accessed. We have an AMAZING onsite maintenance team, but Hector and Esteban from Perry have worked seamlessly on our team to get the project done correctly, quickly, and with as little disruption as possible.
Additionally, it's just been great to have Hector and Esteban on our property! They are friendly, cheerful, and helpful. While it will be great to get the project completed, we will miss seeing them around. Much thanks to them and to Perry on behalf of our community.
Extensive plumbing work required for our new house and Perry was fabulous. Alex was helpful getting appointments setup and Ricardo and Justin were each very communicative with how the job was going. Thank you to all!
These guys are overpriced and overrated. They sent me a technician who didnt know his head from his ass and on top of that gave me a redicous quote. Was also 1 hour late after i waited a whole week. They dont understanding what customer service means. Look elsewhere.
I had a leak in my sons room so I called Perry Plumbing and their office was very responsive and the plumbers came on time. Chandler was the lead plumber and seemed knowledgeable and was professional.
My main issue is with how expensive they are, I realize I was being charged for after hours so I expected it to be expensive, but I probably wouldn't go back simply because they are priced way higher than they should be. They did recommend a really bad company for the restoration who lies and overcharges, so I am questioning the ethics of working with such terrible companies.
Right now the leak seems taken care of, but time will tell how well everything holds up.

I had two sinks and bathtub running very slowly for weeks. I read a few reviews about Perry, and thought, this is the place! I was offered an appointment two days later. Alex and Sergei did a wonderful job of clearing the lines, taking their time and not stopping until they were satisfied the drains ran smoothly. They left the work area clean and spotless. I highly recommend this local company.
Terrible company, got appointment, the repair person didn't show up. Nobody answers.Those one star review are really correct.

Quality workmanship. Friendly attitude. Quick and competent response to problem the following day.
Plumber was on time and professional. He repaired huge leak with toilet.
Woke up this morning and area around toilet still leaking a lot.
Called both #s for this company..regular and emergancy. Neither number worked? It said call will be recorded and then hangs up.
I sent emails and text with no return contact. Not a good company if you need their 2 year warranty the next day after repair and they do answer emergancy phone????

Perry Plumbing came after I check prices to fix my heater, the other two plumbers wanted to change it the complete piece for $3,500; Perry plumbing saw the problem and charged me for a small part and my heater is functional now!

I normally don't do online reviews for products or companies as I usually ask my wife for help in that area. However, because of the number of plumbers I've unfortunately had to reach out to over the years, as we have an older home, when you come across a great company, with great people, I felt I can take the time and leave a review myself.
I already had quotes in hand from other Plumbing companies to have Pipelining done on a 75ft sewer pipe. By chance, I reached out to Perry Plumbing to help fix a water supply line leak and they heard I was getting ready to do some Pipeling and they asked if they could also provide a quote. I of course said, no problem!
To try to shorten the story, Nathan came out and was very thorough and provided me with a quote in no time at all. Their costs were very reasonable, however, the reason I went with Perry Plumbing for our Pipelining was simply because of the trustworthiness I felt with them and the confidence they have in their product and warranty.
I definitely made the right decision. The pipelining process couldn't have gone smoother. Nathan was the Project Manager and his team that was onsite, led by Zach, were awesome. They were fine with me looking over their shoulders and asking questions all the time as the Pipelining process is pretty fascinating to me.
I still have another 80ft or so of Cast Iron sewer line that will need Pipelining and it feels good knowing that I've already been through the process and that I've got the right company doing the job. Trust me, if you need any plumbing services done give Perry Plumbing your business ... they have a great team over there!
Called them up because their website advertises them as San Diego leak detection specialists, and we have a potential slab leak in our condo. Spoke to the receptionist Amber the night before they were supposed to come out and was told they could have someone check it out in between 3-5pm, and that I would get a call 30 minutes before arrival. This was crucial, since I work 30 minutes away and couldn't afford to sit home that afternoon waiting for someone to arrive. At 2:30 I get a voicemail that their guy is knocking on my door and nobody's home. Well no sh*t, I am still at work. None of the information I provided the night before had been communicated to their team. After a few more calls, we worked it out so someone would come over that evening, and by about 6ish, they finally arrived.
They guys who came were courteous, and I explained the problem to them. We had tried to dry out the area in question, and although it was dry to the touch, mold continues to grow in that area, which clearly indicates a problem. The guys walked around the outside of the unit and speculated that it could be a ground water or drainage issue. I had expected them to arrive with moisture detection equipment or something more sophisticated, but they had no such equipment at all. When I asked the guy what he would do if it was his home, he replied get a slab leak detection specialist out here. I was dumbfounded and said I thought that's why you guys were out here in the first place. Nice guys, but probably more accustomed to dealing with overflowing toilets than slab leaks.
Poor communication, misleading advertising, and overall a negative experience. If you don't do slab leak detection, then why advertise yourself as a specialist? Look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.
The folks at Perry Plumbing found the sewer lateral at my house installed double y sweep clean outs and set up a sewer connection for my trailer. They did an amazing job and hooked up a military veteran discount. Thanks Perry Plumbing!

This is a first class company. We had work done with piping in our backyard and we could not have had a better experience. Zachary M. was just outstanding. I called Perry Plumbing because of a stopped-up toilet, and Brandon the plumber who was sent was very courteous and professional from the get-go. Brandon was also very knowledgeable and after flushing the toilet a number of times and running the water in the sink at the same time, he said that there was actually no blockage at this time in his opinion! And, he was right! The toilet has been flushing perfectly since then, and there was no charge for the visit. So not only was Brandon professional, he was honest in terms of his appraisal of the issue.
Excellent job, didn't try to sell me extra, upfront pricing and didn't leave any mess!

Several visits for entire repair project. Each time arrived about 15 minutes early to start setting up. Always courteous, professional. Explained everything and showed before and after videos to ensure I understood the end results. Called and emailed video copies and followed up.
Thorough clean up after each day.
While I hated that the sewer pipe had a major hole and a 5' crack in the middle, Perry Plumbing (John and Justin) were fast reacting and thorough. I am very pleased.
I had a great experience with this company installing a new main line liner at a commercial restaurant. It was an especially tough job being in little Italy with the foot traffic. Everything went smooth and according to budget and plan. Promises made, promises kept. The employees were courteous, knowledgeable, clean, efficient and reasonable. Thank you.

Had the disastrous backed up toilet that made a mess into our tub! I called our usual guy but he wasn't able to help that type of job, he recommended someone but they had a 3 week waiting list. Not something that could wait for sure. He recommended Perry and they came out a short time later. Sergio arrived and got the blockage out of the line and we were back in business. He was courteous, and very helpful with our questions. Made some recommendations for future care of the line to keep it clear. Nice guy.

We have used Perry Plumbling now three times in the past couple months. The service has been excellent. They are very professional and on time. They take pride in what they do and it shows. Thank you Alex, Brandon and Roland!! The only down side is the communication with the answering service. On our first repair, just trying to get a call back was a let down. Multiple calls went out to them, we were told someone was gonna call the next day but never did. We were told that the answering service staff is short staffed. Other than that great service!
If having your water problems fixed in a reasonable time do not call these guys. Shut my water off to find the problem then went home at 5 o'clock. Came back the next day and my water has been off for over 30 hrs and all I can get from them is they will be back to work tomorrow at 8am. This is the second night and going into the 3rd day of no running water. It's a no wonder other plumbers call them and I'm sure when they do call it's to ask wtf did you even do all of those hours!
This is my first time with Perry plumbing. The reason I select them because they have good review. I am happy with the job well done. They installed cold and hot valves for washer/dryer. The technicians (Sean & Kaeleb) were professional and completed the job meeting my expectation. They are friendly and easy to talk to. They pay attention to details of their works. They clean up the mess after they done. I definitely come back again for then next coming up job.

Hector came out to quote a sewer smell that was coming out of our restroom. Upon his investigation he made us aware of two problems: 1) incorrect installation of pipe replacement from previous owner of the house which ultimately caused the issue in the first place and 2) erroneous work of hired help that literally cut the vent pipe to the roof and incorrectly installed all plumbing work from an installed jaccuzi tub. He provided good pictures of each problem so that I did not have to crawl under the house to see what was wrong. Hector not only did excellent work, but also kept my wife and I informed about what he was going to do and where he was on the process. Perry Plumbing's team notified us who was coming to work on the house by an email notification with a picture of Hector and Gelette and Anndrea along with some information about their experience etc. Also received reminders of when they were coming. Hector cleaned up after his work and took plenty of pictures to show us the completed work. I will always use Perry Plumbing for any Plumbing work going forward.
Horrible. We had a pipe that was leaking so we had to shut our water off. Someone came to fix it and after 2 hours charged me $1,000 freaking dollars!! 3 weeks later it started leaking again. The second time we called Bill Howe and they fixed it (took them twice as long) and charged me only $300. We've had no problems. I got ripped off big time. These people just want your money.

Perry fixed my deaf daughter's A/C. We were lucky that Fernando had finished a job early and was available to come to the house in 20 minutes. He was very professional and went the extra mile to make sure all was working before he left. He was very honest in telling us what the problem was and what he had to do to fix it. He had another tech on their way back to the shop drop off the needed part so all was fixed in one visit. Superb service and I have recommended Perry to our friends!! Dave Rannells
Horrible business!! I called to make an appointment for a leaky kitchen sink. They scheduled a 2 hour window from 12-2 and said I would get a call when the tech was on his way. The appointment was on a Friday so I needed to know when to leave work. At 1pm I hadn't heard anything so I called the office. Amber stated that she would call me when the tech was in route. At 2 PM she called me to tell me he was 30 minutes away. I leave work and head to condo. After waiting for an hour. I call the office again. I get told by Jasmine that Amber messed up and when she told me the the tech was in route, that he was actually on lunch! The tech finally arrives 20 minutes after I call. They then tell me that they have had miscommunications with the girls all day. Not really what I want to hear. He takes a look under the sink and finds the issue in under a minute. He then quotes me $1500 dollars to fix a braided water line and 2 valve replacements $1500 DOLLARS!! He ask me if I want to proceed and I couldn't help but laugh as I said no. He says ok I'll just get the $90 dollar service call fee I told him nobody had told me about that, and that I wouldn't pay it. He didnt argue and just made a comment about the front office girls. I had to leave work early and have my time wasted by these unorganized crooks. So many reliable plumbers out there folks, stay away from Perry!
Update: 1/23/19 I had Bill Howe Plumbing come out and do the work, the cost? $280.00 dollars, parts and labor! A far cry from the $1500 This joke of a company wanted to charge me.
I have been a Perry Plumbing customer for at least 5 years. When you need plumbing help you want to know the company is honest and qualified to do the work. This is the staff of Perry Plumbing. When you first call and talk to customer service representative Michelle, you are immediately at ease. She always handles the requests with great professionalism and the service is always prompt. I have had plumber Mike more than once because I found him to be especially good and considerate as well. He always goes over the work in detail and has never done unnecessary work, which has happened with other companies. They keep track of who has served you before and often you can get that plumber again. Don't be fooled into getting a plumbing company with a big advertising budget. Call this local, family business with a great track record for your home or business needs. You won't be disappointed.

Once again , I was impressed from start to finish with the response, service, knowledge and pricing for the services by Perry Plumbing. This is the 2nd time for their services.
I called Perry Plumbing and scheduled a plumber to come out Wednesday morning to fix my toilet. I had to drive to LA Wednesday morning to take a 2-day long test I had been preparing for and had minimal access to my cell phone. When I finished the first day of my test Wednesday evening, I found a voicemail from the plumber saying he had fixed the toilet as well as an emailed invoice from Perry Admin for $189. Since it was past business hours, I figured I would call the next morning to pay during the first break in my test. So Thursday morning I called Perry plumbing during my first break and paid the $189 with credit card. I thought everything went great until I opened up my email and found an aggressive email from Perry Plumbing sent that morning threatening to set up a lien against me if I did not pay immediately. This email was sent less than 24 hours after I received the invoice! The email made me feel uncomfortable like they thought I was a thief and had no intention to pay even though less than 24 hours had passed since I received the invoice. To avoid unnecessary lien threats, aggressive emails, and unprofessionalism in the future, I will not be using this business again.

My bathtub was leaking downstairs into the kitchen so I called Perry on a Saturday night trying to have it fixed right away. They dispatched Ricardo and told me that he would be here between 8 to 10pm. He arrived right at 8pm sharp with a mask on and asked me what happened to which I explained the situation. He identified the issue immediately and provided an on the spot quote for the work. I approved the price and he got to work immediately. He walked me through the process of fixing the problem which I thought very informative. He finished the job quickly and the payment process went smoothly. Ricardo was very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and I will definitely request for him for any plumbing issues in the future.
A few weeks ago I woke up to a bulge in my ceiling in the dining room. A few panicked phone calls later to some plumber friends, we were recommended to Perry Plumbing. I could not be happier! Sergio showed up the same day and diagnosed a leaky tub drain right away. It was pretty late in the afternoon so we scheduled the service for two days later. Sergio came with his coworker Chris and they had the job done in 90 minutes. They did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves and were very pleasant to have inside while I was working from home. The pricing was very transparent and I was able to pay by credit card (yay airline miles!) which was convenient. I hope I don't have to call them again for a long while, but if another plumbing emergency comes up, I know who I'll be calling first!
5-STAR, White-glove customer service! I had a 4-foot piece of broken clay piping (located under the city street) which I was obligated as the homeowner to pay out of pocket for in the city of San Marcos. I had a company come out to perform the work that needed to be done before I called Perry Plumbing and after performing a sewer scope, they told me, I am sorry, but we cannot fix this problem. I called Perry Plumbing and they sent Justin out the same day within 3 hours to assess the situation; mind you, they generally don't service the San Marcos area. He assessed the situation and sent me multiple options the same day on how to fix the problem. The work orders laid out the work to be done in very specific detail. Once I decided to pull the trigger, Perry Plumbing sent somebody out the very next day to start digging through my driveway. The following day, Justin and Nathan showed up first thing in the morning and removed 2 large rocks and a large piece of broken clay from the pipe! Seeing photos and video from their camera of the blockage, it seemed that it would be nearly impossible to remove everything. After removal, they lined the pipe where the break was located and the pipe is fixed better than before. These two went above and beyond to service my home. Justin made himself available 24/7 by quickly responding to my messages and phone calls. I would recommend Perry Plumbing, Justin, and Nathan to anybody who is having a plumbing issue and wants the BEST service out there.
Had them come out to fix a leak in my bathtub faucet and replace a sink faucet as well. They were here just over an hour and was charged over $1,100. The sink faucet replacement alone was $475 charge just for labor since I supplied the faucet. This took them most of their time and the other was a simple fix which cost even more. Brandon was great! But this place over charges more then any place I have ever seen. Not to mention the sink faucet that I had purchased and had them install leaks now. But since it's not one of theirs they won't do anything about it so I still have to get the issue resolved myself. Will never use this company again and would recommend looking anywhere else!
I've used them twice now, once in 2012 and again this month (August, 2013). I liked that they gave me a two hour window, and the plumber arrived at the designated time. The first repair involved water in my bedroom closet which I had suspected to be a slab leak. (It wasn't) Perry's man diagnosed the problem immediately as a blocked drain to the air conditioner overflow in the hall furnace closet that adjoined the bedroom closet. (I certainly wouldn't have guessed that one!) The most recent was a blocked kitchen sink. The plumber snaked the line and all was fine. He also replaced an outside faucet that had a slow leak. He even did two minor repairs (tightening a toilet seat and clearing a slow sink drain) without charge. I'm puzzled by the Yelp review about a contract since there was never any mention of that. In fact, I was given a job estimate at the beginning (no charge for the trip or for giving an estimate.) I would definitely recommend Perry Plumbing and I'll certainly call them again if I need any plumbing work done in my condo.
After reading the 3 reviews on here, i decided to take a chance to schedule an appointment.
Customer Service was good. However, their sales tactic made need some fine tune. The plumber quoted a flat price A for the job for an anticipated 2 hr job and the type of work it was required to repair a water valve (cutting the drywall, adding a coppper line, adding a new modern valve). i agreed to price A . Afterwards, the plumber introduced me to an one-year membership program, to which i read but had not accepted/disapproved it at the time. The plumber suggested that i ponder on it, which i agreed. Afterwards, the plumber had to leave to retrieve the new valve, which would take about half an hr. The allotted time would now be 2 1/2 hr. I had a friend to stay to allow the plumber leave and come my residence as i had to run an errand. About an hr and half later, my friend notifies me that the plumber was done. Wow, i thought.
In a few minutes, the plumber phones me that because the cutting of the drywall and adding a copper line extension were not required, it took less tiime and the price A dropped down by $100. Wow, i thought, again. However, he was able to add the membership program back into the invoice, which totals close to price A (lets call this price B now). I had asked to decline it, to which the plumber replied that the invoice would then be price A instead of price B. Stunned by the sales tactic, i asked for a few minutes to ponder. I felt cornered by this tactic. If i choose price A, i would not be participating in the membership program. If i choose price B, i would be paying for the value close to price A and be given a membership. In this price B, i would not have the option to opt out of the membership program and would not receive $100 less if i did not agree to the acceptance of the membership.
Given this sales tactic, it felt unsettling. Granted that the value of price A was reduced due to the less amount of work required to complete the job, it did not feel ethical to sell a membership program which raised the invoice near price A.
This review is for service I got in October 2014. I just came across the invoice while going through some papers.
I called Perry because my hot water heater stopped providing hot water. Their reviews were good and I think they were on Angie's List. I was satisfied with the service call and remedy, even though I thought it to be a bit high for what the Tech did (adjust a mixing valve).
Then a short time later a friend called one morning with water on her garage floor with the source being her hot water heater. So I recommended Perry and told her she would get billed $140 for the service call. They came to her house and diagnosed the issue and gave an estimate for a new hot water heater.
Problem is, they left without charging her anything. Perry charged me $140 for the service call and $38 to adjust the mixing valve on top of the heater. She ultimately went with a different company. But I thought it was messed up to charge me $178 to turn a knob and check water pressure and my friend zero.

I had a minor leak in my bathtub drain which was affecting the unit below me. I was fortunate to have William and Cameron diagnose my problem quickly and return within a short time period to repair the problem . They also provided two different options with different costs to choose from which we really appreciated. The entire experience was not only done with the height of professionalism and knowledge, but with great attitudes and even some laughter which is a rare find today. Prices were reasonable, appointment times were prompt, and these two men definitely went the extra mile to make the experience pleasant. I will recommend Perry Plumbing to my friends and family. I called Perry Plumbing because of a broken water pipe 25 days ago. They are very slow and have no sense of urgency. Their charges are outrageously expensive. They had be over a barrel with a broken water pipe underground that was pouring out water. We were without water for 3 weeks off and on.They do not take responsibility for doing the job wrong. The collection manager was very aggressive and I felt harassed for payment before the job was even completed. I would never recommend them.

I have two hand sinks in the master and 22 years later they both started to leak.
I didn't want to replace them as they are still in good condition and match the others. So we go to replace the internal valve kit. And as with my home, it was some complicated part and they were all frozen together, hence the leaking. No surprise, everything in this home is complicated.
Perry's men, Hector and Dan (my same crew from my last disaster) got to work. One angle stop shut off valve snapped and the other was crummy. So we changed those out, too. These things just happen.
If your going to change two tires on the car, you better just change all four.
Folks, never leave crummy shut off valves!! Your homes best insurance, just do it.
These two men worked diligently, carefully minding my dog Devo who was eyeballing them, and worked to fix my crazy complicated faucets.
Their workmanship was outstanding, the pricing is right on point and fair, and lets not forget the ladies in the office. The ladies in the office called me when they were on the way, shazaam, right on time, and then without any questions or reminders, Margie sent me my invoice via email the next morning.

Because of my home warranty company, I have had different plumbers out to my home. When an issue came up where the home warranty company couldn't get anyone out to help me in a plumbing emergency, i got approval to get an outside plumber. Because i had used Perry for a couple other things outside of the home warranty, i knew i would use them again.
My plumber was Ricardo and he is a rock star!! He takes his time and does quality work. He makes sure that you are happy with his work before he leaves. I think all the team at Perry Plumbing is reliable and provide great service. However, I really like Ricardo and value his excellent work so he will be my go to from now on. We had a leaky garbage disposal and we called mid morning and they came out in the later afternoon and replaced it.
Joel did a good job as the plug was behind the dishwasher and behind the cabinet. Who knows why they built it that way. He had to saw a hole into the cabinet under the sink to get to the plug. He was very professional and got the job done.

Hector arrived on time, provided an estimate, and completed the work within a couple of hours. He explained the procedure to me prior to beginning the repair and also reviewed the results of the repair with me. He was very cordial and professional. I chose Perry Plumbing to perform the repair because they actually had a real person answer the telephone. I had already called several other companies but they only had pre-recorded messages, and needless to say, I hung up the phone on all of them!
Problem with drainage line. Four different companies came out and didn't fix or recommend solution. Perry Plumbing & Pipelining fixed the issue! The cost was well within budget and the performance was Steller.
Talk about polite, professional, and totally proficient with knowledge and can-do spirit. I would recommend this company and ask for Daniel & Junior. They won't let you down!

I believe it was Tiffany who I talked with several times, and Alex did the actual work (I hope I am not forgetting anyone:). Nathan was the rep that showed up, right on time, very professional, explained me everything, I know nothing about pumps or septic.. the company we had before him, has over 2000 reviews on yelp, 4.5 starts and he barely looked at the problem said it will cost to replace the pump $3500 or more. He didn't explain why just said he knows better then us.
Nathan on the other hand, gave me all the options, said it could be just clogged and to repair (few hours of work) will be $430, only if the pump needs to be replaced it will cost more (still not even close to $3500). I highly recommend him, he was honest from the beginning, did a great job, explained and showed me in details the problem, gave me all the options in case I will need to replace it, told me which pump I should use and shouldn't based on the amp in my house.. I know for sure we will use them again.

I called and then used this company due to good reviews and also because they told me that the service call fee (39.00 bucs I think) would be waived if I used them to do services. I thought that's cool because Andersons does not waive service fee if you use them plus Andersons is WAY expensive, but at least they tell you upfront. I should have listened to my gut when the lady on the phone with Perry's would not quote me the cost for a simple drain snaking; reputable companies will do this- the 'free' service fee is just to entice you to use them - believe me, when all is said and done it is not free at all!.... Well, like I thought all I needed done was to have my bathroom sink snaked due to slow but not completely blocked drainage. I do have to say that the gentleman that came out was very polite and professional - this is the only reason I gave two stars...He did the job but the bathroom sink snaking cost me 180.00 bucs !!!!! This is 40.00 MORE than Andersons which we knowledgeable homeowners know is one of the costliest companies in town! Now here is the part that really upsets me. He refused to warrantee the work which other companies ALWAYS do. Well guess what? The sink is slow again, has developed a leak where pipe was messed with (was absolutely not leaking before)and now my bathtub is completely blocked up! On a side note- I asked how much out of curiosity how much they would charge to fix a leaky gasket in my older toilet tank and he quoted me almost 300.00 dollars! The gasket piece can be purchased at home depot for 5-8 bucs!!!!!! So, to make a long story short, they took me for 180.00 bucs and created more issues for me :(

We called Perry's to replace our water heater as it was quite old. They came out promptly, did a nice enough job with the install and then took away the original water heater. Unfortunately the next day it was making a lot of unusual noises and we felt something wasn't right. They did a routine check. The team, with supervisor Eric, then came out to inspect. They determined it had a defect (manufacturers). Jose and Sergio replaced it and again did an amazing job. They showed us what the problem was with the other one, installed and tested the newest one, showed us how to adjust temp etc. it has worked like a dream since. The quality of workmanship e.g.soldering, clean-up afterwards etc. was excellent. Thank you Jose and Sergio. We appreciate your hard work, courtesy, always listening to needs of your customers and the extra effort you made for us. Thank you Eric (& the other young man who came with you, but we didn't get his name) for diagnosing and taking care of the problem with the manufacturer. We continue to trust Perry's for all our plumbing needs.

Very disappointing. They started off strong but then quickly faltered. Their prices kept going up as they worked too. They seem very entitled and put out by any discussion over billing. I would strongly recommend against using this company.
5 star experiences from the time I called to setup the same day appointment. The receptionist Michelle was friendly and pleasant; she called me several times to make sure I did not to leave work too early to meet the plumber at home.
Mike, the plumber showed up when he supposed to. Explained clearly the problem he found, patiently answering my 20 questions, provided the estimate and quickly fixed the problem. He then provided recommendations for future install as my water heater is working but is fairly old.
I will call up Perry Plumbing again for my future plumbing needs.

Our association uses Perry Plumbing, and had Mike come out to address clogged drains throughout the condo, after I had snaked everything I could. He was really helpful and courteous, used booties inside the house without having to be asked, and explained everything he was doing as he did it. He ended up needing their waterjet setup to clear the main line drain, and left and returned promptly with that. Great service. Would definitely reuse Perry/Mike and recommend.

With appreciation, the owner John Perry of Perry Plumbing took care of an issue concerning pipelining that was done for root intrusion. An area of pipe that wasn't covered when work was done had roots going through while in escrow selling. Perry's crew stepped up and promptly took care of the issue without hassle, to honor their work.
Do not use. The most unprofessional and incompetent plumbing service I have ever used. Used them to unclog a drain a month or so ago and it was fine, but yesterday, a technician arrived during a major pipe break in my condo and refused to service for reasons he would not explain. I asked for another technician to be sent that night, and I think he made the problem worse than it was (it leaked all night long) and then the next morning arrived and promptly disappeared. I called several times and after 3.5 hours finally spoke with Eric, who claimed that his technicians said I threatened them, a completely fabricated story; several of my neighbors were present and will back that up. Unbelievable. Had another plumber come and they fixed the leak and got the water back on in 20 minutes.
Nothing like being taken for a ride. Tech came out to assess toilet. Says we need new one. Quotes us ridiculous amount of OVER 600.00 and it costs us 40.00 just to tell us that our jets are no good. BS there Reyes Cruz. You are a LIAR. We get a real plumber out who tells us our toilet is one of the best ones out there & it's never been properly cleaned so the jets are blocked. He gives our toilet an acid cleaning & it works like new.
These guys are out to RIP YOU OFF.

Our HOA recently discovered a small leak in our gas line. Perry Plumbing came out and patched it right away until the could come back to replace the line. We had complications but the communication was top notch. They stayed on the job which went from one day to two and and half days and completed the work including inspection. The price was reasonable considering the undertaking and all staff members were amazing. Special thanks to Raul for getting the job done and keeping me informed along the way. Joel gave an estimate of $7595 to replace the main line and the connections to a home I sold in Normal Heights. If the home had needed the main line replaced, fine, even the quote is higher than most other plumbers. However, the home didn't need the main line replaced. Joel from Perry Plumbing showed up on the wrong day and did the inspection without me present, but he agreed to meet me the following day when we were scheduled. When we met, he described a very bleak situation, one where when he crawled under the house to test the plumbing, the main plumbing line completely failed and he was covered in mud and sewage. Bc of this description, he conned (CONNED) me out of doing another full inspection while I was present. What makes the situation even more dishonest, I represented the buyers, and this was a referral from their friend. Joel forged an estimate as a way for the buyer to work closing credits. The sellers and I agreed that we should get a second opinion. When we scheduled with another plumber, he came out of the crawl space a little dusty but no mud or sewage any where. We tested every drain by plugging the drain and releasing the water with him checking each connection under the house at the main line and every toilet. The plumber said it was bone dry under the house, and main line was in great shape. We also scoped the main line, and it was good on the inside, as well. Scoping is using a camera down the plumbing vents to the end of the main line to look for deterioration. This was the exact same main drain line that Joel from Perry Plumbing only days before told me totally failed and provided an estimate of $7500+. Stay away from this company. I would have posted this long ago, but I had a friend who was apprenticing for Perry Plumbing. I didn't want to have a negative impact on his time there.
They replaced a kitchen faucet for us. They did a great job and provided a good warranty on their work. I will use them again and again.

We recently moved into a 50 yr old condo building that has had many plumbing issues. After using other plumbers with not great results, we finally (and luckily) found Perry Plumbing. Perry Plumbing performed a building-wide pipe lining service in my condo building. Service in my unit was efficient and well done. Xavier, Daniel, and Santiago were respectful and hardworking during the process and did a great job.
I used Perry Plumbing for an emergency request. I had a blocked drain that was overflowing. The company took my call at 10pm and talked me through the issue. Margie was incredibly pleasant and helpful despite the late hour. She talked me through the problem and we were able to find a solution that stopped the leak/flood for the night. The next morning she called first thing and scheduled Juan to come fix the problem. Juan arrived and was professional, polite and diligent. He was an experienced, confident plumbing technician who was not only able to solve the immediate problem, but also diagnose the bigger picture problem of pipes needing to be replaced as well as suggestions for the garbage disposal when that comes up for replacement.
Overall the level of service I got was amazing and I would definitely recommend these guys

Have used Perry before in the past for my business and home. Called and had them come out to my business to give me an estimate to recharge my A/C unit which wasn't getting as cool. This is a split unit with part of it on the roof. Without even looking at the unit the service tech went to his truck and wrote up an estimate for over $1600.00 to which I kindly said no (I only paid $1100.00 for the unit a little over a year ago) I called a couple of other companies and found one (Rockstar Plumbing and Air) who serviced these units. Francisco came out the next day, serviced the unit and only charged me $165.00. Big Big difference!
I think Perry just lost a repeat customer.

Don't use them! Outrageously expensive and didn't fix the problem then wouldn't warrantee the work. Came out a second time within 20 days and charged me even more. It was an emergency so I had no choice. They also wanted to charge an extra $285 for locating the sewer drain even though the camera was already down there! I have seen this done... It literally takes 5 minutes. They also charged an extra $89 to snake the shower separate from the main. Ridiculous! When he left he made a joke saying see you in a month. As if he knows he's not fixing the problem. Unbelievable!

Fantastic service... Was recommended to use Perry Plumbing from another plumbing service... They were on time each day, were excellent with communications and setting expectations, focused on providing solutions/remedies, really easy to work with, very polite-respectful and professional clean workmanship. Really felt they were trustworthy based on our interactions (prompt returned calls, eagerness to help etc), they proved that they were worthy to earn my business! Not long after moving into a new house, the first time we did laundry, water started backing up into the bathroom showers and toilets. Needless to say this was horrifying and a major problem.
Tried to go through our home warranty to get it fixed, but that was a joke. Ended up calling Perry Plumbing at our realtor's recommendation. They sent someone out the next day to take a look. He was on time, professional, and very straightforward about what was needed, and how he would handle it if it were his home. This lead to us having them replace/repair some plumbing work that had been done during our home's remodel by unlicensed plumbers, but they knew exactly what to do to fix the issues. Additionally, they quoted us for having our mainline (which was still cast iron) relined with epoxy to extend it's life. They were very patient with us, answering all our questions, going back over the information again where needed, and seemed to be really honest and genuine people.
All the repairs took place over the course of a couple weeks (the pipelining had to be scheduled a few weeks out), but they got us up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible. They even humored me by letting me crawl under the house with them once finished to see what they had repaired and where.
Nathan, one of the managers was excellent, but honestly the whole crew (we had probably 5-6 different workers over the two projects) was stellar. I was very impressed by their courtesy and punctuality, and their work ethic!
I would absolutely recommend them, and will certainly call them in future should we have any plumbing needs (but let's hope not!).
My condo in Pacific Beach was flooded due to a broken pipe above my unit. Perry Plumbing sent Adrian and Danny to clear my drain, which had backed up due to the pipe being so old. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They were very careful not to leak any residue onto the floor as they worked on the drain. They did an excellent job! I will continue to use Perry Plumbing in the future.
Perry's Plumbing really is a 5 star company. I had a major hot water leak I thought was under my slab. I received quotes to re-pipe my entire home over $10K before they arrived. I wanted an honest plumber for a problem I haven't had to deal with before. So I called a long-time plumber friend I trust for a recommendation. He said go with Perry's, and Hector and his associate came out and searched for the problem, did some digging and found it!! It was accessible and not under the slab. I am sooo happy I didn't have unnecessarily re-pipe my entire home. Perry won my business....I am going to upgrade to a tankless water heater. Thanks Hector! Great Job!

Our main sewer line was backing up. We had Perry Plumbing come out. They used a camera and showed us what was needed. We ended up needing to have a liner put in, as we own an older home. They were very professional, showed up on time, and completed the work as promised. I would highly recommend them to any one needing work done.
Super service from the knowledgeable, polite and friendly person who answered the phone when I first called, to the courteous and professional customer service during their assessment and subsequent work- to the great communication from staff before and after our work was completed--- this is an all around top notch company. I have work with a lot of plumbing companies but the service level and politeness from this whole team puts them at the top of my list.
I had a great experience with Perry plumbing. I called them regarding an emergency leak and they sent out Cameron and Cameron on short notice. They came to investigate the cause a leak to my downstairs neighbors when I ran my showers, and they performed a variety of tests to discover that there was a clog and a broken gasket that both were contribyting to this issue.
They were very professional and resolved one issue so that I was able to at least use one of my showers until I get someone out here for the larger fix. They offered a great number of recommendations on my next steps while being very sympathetic about additional costs.
I definitely going to call them again the next time I need plumbing work!

Happy holidays. So, I left on the on the 15th for holiday vacation and Perry Plumbing showed up to fix my toilet leaking to my neighbor's downstairs. I left while they were still in my house since my plane was due and they left the key in my condo. When I left 13 days ago, my toilet was intact and still working. Anywho, just got back 15 minutes ago and found pieces of the toilet everywhere, including the bathtub and neither my niece nor I have a working bathroom so we now have to get a hotel. Not to mention it's dirt everywhere and who leaves a piece of toilet in the bathtub anyway??
Edit1- Perry came in last night, apologized and reset my toilet, which was awesome time-wise. There's just one huge thing besides it still leaking (and I asked for a quote a week ago/no word back). The main issue is Perry cut out a piece of my wall for some reason. Due to this, my bathroom is 20 degrees colder than the rest of the house and uhhh, oh yea, a huge piece of my wall is missing. Yes, id be open to receiving a phone call.
Edit #2- They called and were very polite, apologizing as well, which I definitely appreciated. They fixed the entire toilet issue also which was absolutely awesome, which brought this 1 star rating to a 2. The reason it's not 5 stars is because we had to deal with this in the first place and the reason it's not any higher is because there is still that huge hole behind my toilet that they made on the 15th and it looks like I may end up paying for it.

I am a Commerical Property Manager and Perry is my go-to.
They are always available and speedy and reliable. Three things I always need.
Yesterday- Will (techinician) came out and what we originally thought was a $200 one hour job, turned into a full day affair. Although the cost went up, he kept calling me to check in and inform me of the issues discovered, letting me know the increase in pricing per issue and even helped me find a great dryout company to come that day.
I am so thankful to have a good plumbing company that is ready and able to handle the job- no matter how complex.
And Perry execs if you read this- the poor guys iPhone got drenched and broke when he was fixing my pipe- I hope you will replace it for him! He deserves it!

After a horrific plumbing experience with my first plumber(I had new valves installed(have a three way system shower head handheld shower and bathtub )! The first plumber installed it and it was not aligned correctly! The handle which controls water temperature and the other handle which controls shower head tub or handheld shower was not in a straight line! The caulking was thick and ugly applied! To top it off the new installed valve was leaking! We were horrified and we lost confidence that there is a plumber out there who could fix it! I called perry plumbing ! They came highly recommended by our association manager! Delbert and Randy showed up on time in front of my door! They were friendly, professional and started to work on my bathroom project! I was skeptical at first just observing them! They worked very efficient and clean! They made sure that handles were aligned, they took both valves down and reattaching it the correct way, making sure no more leaks inside the wall! It took a while fixing my first plumbers mistakes! When they told me they are finished I went upstairs to take a look and could not believe what i saw! Perfectly aligned handles, caulking done perfectly, no mess and when I checked later on for the leak it was not dripping and they had secured it in a way that the drywallers will not injure valves! I was speechless! A perfect job! Their skill level blew me away! They will come back to do another project in my other bathroom! Way to go perry plumbing! You really deserve a 10 star review! Thank you again!
Good company got to meet a great plumber named Ricardo customer service is what he was about. Ricardo was clear and upfront with me when he showed up and went to work with Cameron. I had been without gas for 5 days and today was there earliest day they could come out. We had a miscommunication on the time luckily he knew what to do and got the job done with some minor hiccups! I am giving them 5 stars only because Ricardo and Cameron handled buisness. I hope Perry plumbing takes care of Ricardo and Cameron they are MVPs in my book!
Worst service ever from a highly rated long standing business in San Diego. Unprofessional plumber that didn't want to work past his shift and be paid overtime. DO NOT call them for an emergency. The technician said he had to go back to his van for something and then he just drove away leaving us hanging with an emergency situation.
Perry Plumbing was great! Michelle was fabulous! Custmer Service at a GOLD MEDAL rating...which is rarly seen these days. I own a management company and had to deal with them on a hot water warranty issue. Michelle was on top of her game, followed up many times, and made it happen. Our issue is fixed and everyone is happy! Thank you Perry Plumbing, however, most of all, THANK YOU Michelle, you were FABULOUS!
Just had Raul and Cameron come out to replace a garbage disposal unit. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They discovered our drain line was clogged with waste that had accumulated over 30 years. So happy we called when we did because it would have been completely backed up very soon. Would definitely use this company for other needs in the future!
We have used Perry Plumbing several times, and they have been great each time. Sergio and Brandon have each come out for different plumbing needs within the past few weeks, even, and both were prompt, courteous, and got the job done. Their communication regarding what needed to be done and what they did to fix it was great.

Our home is in the North Park area and our sewer line clogged and erupted on the front lawn. After our regular plumber used a camera to inspect the pipe he repaired our connection to the broken 100 year old cast iron. He recommended we hire Perry Pipelining to clean out and pipeline the 4 inch cast iron pipe running from the edge of our property out under the sidewalk and street to the city manhole connection 32 feet away.
Perry was there quickly and used their camera to show us the accumulated sludge inside the pipe and two places where tree roots were coming into the pipe. The used their cleaning machine to scrap out the roots and accumulated sludge. Then they showed us the places along the pipe that were worn or cracked from age and roots. It was obvious that the least expensive way to handle this was lining the old pipe with an new epoxy liner. Much faster and less expensive than digging up and replacing the old pipe.
Doing nothing and having leaks and repeated clogs was not the way to go.
The team from Perry was excellent, professional, worked straight through from their 8:30 am start to 4:30 pm when the epoxy liner had been installed and had set. Great team, years of experience and careful work. We are very happy with the results. We recommend Perry Pipelining to anyone with an old cast iron sewer line that needs to be repaired and renewed. A one day operation, much better than digging and replacing the old line.

Delbert came out today (within a couple of hours of calling) to help us with a clogged toilet. He was so professional and friendly! I will absolutely use them again and refer them to friends and family! Thank you Perry Plumbing!!
After reading reviews on Yelp we called Perry Plumbing for an estimate to replace our water heater. Was a good choice... An hour later Reyes arrived and within a few minutes, we had a competitive quote to accomplish the work. 3 hours later our new water heater was ready to go.
You can tell when you've chosen the right company by the people representing them. Reyes did a great job; efficient with a friendly manner. In fact, from our first contact with Perry's dispatcher to the time Reyes left our house, our experience with Perry Plumbing was excellent. Can't recommend them enough

Called them to look at a leaking toilet, was told 30 min for the guy to be here, 1hr and 40 minutes later I call them back to cancel since I have not heard from the plumber or office. They say no prob and hang up without even asking my name or address.

3rd time needed help in less then a year! The challenges of owning a home! When the wax ring in our toilet needed replacing, we called Perry Plumbing. We already had hired them for two job and had great service. We got help by Brandon and Luis for the 2nd time. They let us know what the problems were with our toilet and since it was an old toilet with many issues, we decided to get a new toilet. They did an amazing job making sure it fit just right in our small bathroom. They also took away the old toilet and got us the new one. That is important to say since we live in the second floor. I would recommend them again!
Perry plumbing continuously delivers quality work , Rafael, Alejandro, and Daniel were able to give me a new sewer line without have to dig, they were very professional, surprisingly there appearances were very well kept as well considering they are plumbers, I would highly recommend them for there trenchless sewer epoxy system.

I had a relatively difficult issue with my sewer line in that it was broken and offset from the city's main sewer line. I contacted several other plumbers who were not up to the task, as I didn't receive a response from them, or I received an estimate for a much more costly solution. Perry Plumbing really came through with successfully implementing a liner, which was a much more cost effective solution than digging beyond my property line. Everyone who worked on the project was great, but I was particularly impressed by the expertise demonstrated by John Perry, the owner, and Simon, the liner specialist. I received before and after videos that showed exactly how the problem was fixed. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work - I highly recommend Perry Plumbing.
So, came home today at 3 pm after leaving the house at 11 am, to find one of our toilets had been running the whole time. And not just dripping, but running full force. I tried all the tricks, jiggling the handle, plunger, etc., nothing worked. Tried to turn off the water with the knob behind the toilet, then water started running onto the floor. Called our usual plumber, Perry Plumbing in National City, and they were obviously closed on New Year's Eve (because our plumbing problems ALWAYS happen after hours, on weekends or holidays). Dispatcher said she would call someone, maybe they could get to us by 6:30 p.m. (Y'all know what the current rates are for Sweetwater Authority, right?) We can't afford (another) $700 water bill, so I started calling other plumbers. ASI (the white glove guys, you know the jingle) took my information, put me on hold, then hung up on me after 15 minutes. Called a couple others that didn't answer. Called another big plumber co which I won't name, and they said, sure, we'll help you, but it's a holiday so that's time and a half so that will be $230 just for the house-call, not including parts (props to them at least for telling me the price in advance). Then, 20 minutes later, Perry Plumbing guy showed up. (I called the other plumber and canceled; I don't want to mess up their plumbers' schedules.) Perry Plumbing guy quickly diagnosed our problem as a flap that wasn't properly closing in the toilet tank, fixed it without having to purchase extra parts, and checked our water pressure just because. Total price: $39. I kid you not. I wanted to hand him some fresh-baked cookies but he left out the back door so I didn't have the chance. Dang. We're going through some tough times, and I cannot even say how much I appreciated his quick work, kindness and honesty. A rarity these days. Got the guy's card: Tykeus Pettway, if you want to ask for him in person, and you should.
I must say, this isn't the first (or even 5th) time Perry Plumbing has saved us in a pinch, since we last called them just a few weeks ago after our sink was unable to digest the leavings from my Thanksgiving preparations and got all clogged up.
I had my water heater replaced by Perry plumbing. My initial heat pump water heater was extremely noisy. I complaint to Ryan and he was extremely helpful for diagnosing the issue and offer a free replacement. I ended up upgrading to a bigger tank. Ryan was so helpful. I'm so glad. The new water heater is quiet. Perry plumbing is the best.

Great job!! Both Blaine and Tommy were very professional. They went above and beyond to provide a wonderful customer service experience. As they were leaving, I ran outside to get our mailman's attention while he was driving away. As he stopped at another nest of mailboxes, Tommy ran out of his van and hailed the mailman for me. Now that's going above and beyond!!!!!!
They've done work for us on a few occasions, both emergency and routine repairs. Their service has been fast and thorough. I recommend them.

We had a slow drain backing up into the shower and needed a plumber. Called Perry Plumbing yesterday and received timely, excellent service from their tech, Will. He was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
We've used Perry Plumbing on a larger project for a complete sewer line replacement six months ago. Their employees, Mike and Delbert, were so helpful, professional, and knew exactly what to do in order to replace our collapsed cast iron pipe system.
This is a great company and we highly recommend them.
Couldn't ask for a better experience! Jasmine in the office - Outstanding! Donald did the repair - Perfect! Do not hesitate to call them for any plumbing need. I got a quote from this company. They were nice and very professional- but they quoted me $1,300 to replace 8 water valves. I appreciate things done by a professional but that rate is INSANE. I'll be getting other quotes.

Great service from Joel and the entire company. Backed up kitchen sink fixed in about 2 hrs from initial phone call til tech left the house. Found them on the BBB site with a A+ rating, they even offer a senior discount. Joel explained the problem and solutions and was very professional. Will use this company again should we have plumbing problems in the future.
Unfortunately my experience with Perry Plumbing was not very good. Customer service was fine. Two plumbers showed up because my water heater was not working properly. They pushed the reset button, got hot water, charged me $202. and left. Unfortunately, they did not inspect the unit very carefully and did not diagnose the problem correctly. If they had, they would have noted leaks and corrosion on the unit. I called another company who came out and correctly diagnosed the problem. The unit was replaced which cost me almost $4000. Perry could have had this business if they had not been so quick to push the button and run. They never really inspected the unit. I wasted $202. and will not be calling them again if I have plumbing needs. Not at all thorough or accurate in their diagnosis.
I am a property manager and have used many plumbers in the past for many different situations. Both my regular plumbers were busy on a Friday afternoon. So I Googled plumbers. Perry came up and looked professional enough for the simple job I needed repaired.My gardeners had punctured a small hole in a a 3/4 inch copper line The line was in the ground 6 deep, the line was completely exposed on all sides and below. The technician did not have to dig at all, we had it all ready for him. He showed up and called the office for authorization to do the work and my assistant gave him authorization to do the work though she did not get a quote over the phone. Again we have worked with many plumbers and had a pretty good idea what it would cost. The total amount of time it took the tech to complete the job was under 30 min. The total amount in parts about $10.00 the total amount of the bill... $486.00 WHAT?
I have never called a company to dispute a charge but I did for this one. After having to leave a message the Manager called me back a couple days later. He explained they use a national pricing index and that what they charged is what the index called for. He tried to make it sound better by saying even if the job took 4 hrs. it would have been the same amount.(Sure)
You could call 10 other plumbing companies and that job would run between $75.00-$125.00. I am not a person who would normally write a review but this was so out of line I found it important to warn others about this companies practices.
If you have a choice call someone else, if you don't be sure to get an upfront quote in writing and then hang on to your wallet
Extremely satisfied! Delbert came out to my house shortly after I called to get a broken bypass valve fixed on my water softener. He was very professional and knowledgable and answered all of my ignorant questions regarding the water system in my house. He quickly and easily fixed the faulty valve free of charge (I was so worried about the price!) then educated me on my water system; and physically showed me everything I didn't know before. Just as my neighbor did, I will refer anybody and everybody to this company. Thanks Delbert, you rock!
Zero star. Having flooring put in and needing a angle stop replaced. Came for appointment Friday, while flooring contractors waiting. Said they couldn't turn off the water and didn't have materials. Had to come back Monday morning. Monday morning comes , clueless to appointment and I have flooring guys back here in hr. Said tech would call. NO CALL BACK. Horrible company.
After numerous plumbers came and went unable to find what was causing the smell in our master shower, John and Nathan were able to solve it within AN HOUR! They were on time, professional with a great work ethic and a great sense of humor. I have now made Perry Plumbing my go-to plumbing company!
