I'm obsessed with Fixer. I've used them twice now for a handful of things. My biggest hurdle is always knowing who to call for any particular task and now I don't have to figure that out. I just tell Fixer what I want done and they send me the right person to do the job. They make it SO easy. I'll never use anyone else. On top of that - their employees are so nice and helpful and do a great job! They definitely know their stuff.

I needed a bathroom exhaust fan + light installed in my home.

I texted back and forth with Darrell and in a few days, I had Enis come out to do the job. He was extremely on time, professional, and wore a mask.

He verified the work with me and overall it was a great experience.

I will be using this team again for sure.

They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me.

Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. My advice is that if you sense your questions or concerns are not being met, just reach out to the owner of the company, Jesse!

Martin is so bad, he charged me $100 for put two lights and hang two paintings for 30 mins work, he overcharged me, please be careful ask the price first! Never never use he again!!!

This is a long-overdue review of an excellent business!  I've had them come for two jobs at my house: redoing closets and refinishing a cracked and peeling ceiling in the kitchen.  Both jobs were done flawlessly by workmen who were professional and friendly.  Compared to many conrators that take your money and do bad work, or take your money and leave a project half-finished (I've experienced both), these folks are conscientious, careful, and make sure that you're happy with the product. I will definitely come back with more work for them!

We had a small leak under our kitchen sink and I wasn't sure what the cause was so I went into the Yelp portal and found Easy Work (Jon). He was very responsive and after showing pics and video, he gave me a quote and came over the next day to take care of the issue. He was on time, answered calls/texts, and very professional. Highly recommend!

We sent a request for an estimate to five contractors.  KBN Homes was the ONLY one to reply.  Brandon came out several hours later to look at our deck rehab project.  He had some good suggestions.  He later sent us an estimate.  We thought the price was fair so we asked him to go ahead with the project.  He was prompt every day of the work.  Brandon was very communicative.  He let us know what he was doing and what would be next.  We had a custom design in mind for the new railing.  Brandon worked with us and made it happen.  Brandon's by-line should be attention to detail.  Brandon finished the job on time even though he was stopped at least twice by heavy rain and wind.  The job site was clean at the end of every day.  We are very pleased with the result of his work.  We would hire him again.

Bottom line:  We would recommend Brandon and KBN Homes without reservation.

This review is regarding customer service: He called me back asap regarding the problem we were having in our sink. We didn't use his service because my house was under warranty and the contracted plumber came and fixed it. In the future, we will be using Burr Oak Plumbing. Thank you for calling us back.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

They replaced a switch on the sub-pump and were great plus a reasonable price of 135.00!  I would use them again.

I needed someone to help with repairs on a condo I have and Welter was quick to respond and get someone out to resolve the problem.  I definitely will reach back out to them if I need repairs in the future.

We hired Gus to add on to and stain our old outdoor playground which turned out great! He really worked with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. It looks like new again and now our son has a clubhouse! He stained our fence and did some work under our deck. Don helped me with an issue we were having with our plumbing. Our ejector wasn't working right and it was backing up repeatedly. We've had others come by to work on it, but Don was able to actually fix it. Couldn't be happier - fast and efficient.

I had Jason out for a series of door-related jobs (reversed the swing of some basement doors and repaired a few others that would not close correctly) as well as some other odds and ends. He's a straight shooter who does quality work. Highly recommend.

The pricing is confusing. I was charged an $89 fee to show up which I understood as what would typically be the diagnostic fee and then $125/hr. The guy was here for 20 min, could not actually do the repair, and needed to go do research to see if the parts were available to do the work and I am left with a $214 bill. As an architect who works with construction people on a daily bases, this is not how I have ever seen someone do business. I would say to make sure that they have the capability to do the job and get everything in writing beforehand.
