Hays Cooling, Heating & Plumbing Plumbing Service
Couldn't be happier with Hay's. Frank and Mike are excellent, very knowledgeable HVAC gurus and we're grateful for them. The supporting staff is also wonderful to work with. They ALL get the job done!! We made a switch from using a big well known company in the Valley, for many reasons, and Hays checked out. I was upfront about expectations and type of service my clients expect and they always make me proud. I'm a property manager and Hays makes my job easier. They deliver timely service, decent prices, and professionalism.  This is going to sound cheesy, but it it pays to call Hays.

I don't recommend their plumbing department. They couldn't figure out the most basic toilet issue. I ended up fixed my toilet myself by watching a YouTube video AND was still out $100+ for their fee.

Arizona's Dukes of Air Plumbing Service
First, I would like to thank Dukes of Air for scheduling an emergency visit to my home. I had a scheduled appointment Saturday June 15, but my AC unit went down early Wednesday morning, so I called Dukes of Air and they were more than helpful with scheduling an emergency visit for Wednesday. The customer service person I spoke with (wish I could remember her name) was super friendly and helpful. Chris showed up to my home and was very polite and respectful. He diagnosed my problem, went over my options in detail and pricing for each option given. Once I informed him which option I wanted Chris got right to work. He also did not mind my interruptions to ask questions which he answered in detail. Now I know why Dukes of Air has so many satisfied customers and they can add me to their list. I would highly recommend Dukes of Air to my friends, family and anyone reading this review. This is a great company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ... They charge more than other plumbers.  A simple shut off valve on the toilet cost me over $180 because apparently there were other problems with the toilet which were not there before ... REALLY ???

Reddi Services Plumbing Service
I am very pleased with the services provided by Reddi Services. I own an older townhome (built in 1964), and it was time to do some plumbing repairs. Chris came out to evaluate the situation. He was honest and up front that he had never worked on a configuration this old, and was unsure, so he was going to call in a seasoned supervisor to advise him. Chris gave an estimate, and scheduled a day for them to come back and complete the job.  Right on schedule, Pepe and Chris, along with Brent arrived and began the process of replumbing my washer drain. Pepe was very knowledgeable about old style plumbing and was very honest, upfront and was very good at walking the guys through the analysis and repair. He took advantage of many teaching moments to encourage them to think through what was the best way or the next step. Pepe is genuinely old school when it comes to doing the job right- the first time. He took his time to do clean soldering, measuring cuts and wrapping pipes to prevent friction and wear from neighboring pipes. I am confident that this re-plumbing will last another 54 years.  It is important to note- that they have seasoned professionals, ready and willing to assist and train the next generation. This ensures that when you need them again a few years down the road- you will have trained and reliable technicians.

While they were here, they also took a look at the mix-it valves in my showers. I was aware that finding a replacement valve was going to be a challenge since they don't make them out of brass anymore. Pepe was able to locate a local supplier, but once we broke down the costs, it would be less expensive to replumb the faucets. All parts are guaranteed for life, and all labor is guaranteed for 1 year.  They cleaned up the areas they worked in, removing debris and parts. They don't have fancy advertisements on TV and Radio- so the savings are passed on to you.  Their reviews on Yelp are true reviews and not created by a service as I noticed that many other plumbing companies use.  It is amazing to feel this good and confident in calling in a plumber from Reddi Services.

Hansen Family Plumbing and Air Plumbing Service
My water heater decided to leak, and water was running in the garage.  I called Hansen, and Brittany was sensitive to my concerns, and worries.  She was great, and assured me that someone would come out that day.  Shortly after, Jessica called me back, and said they could send someone out sooner.  Hansen appreciates the customers safety, and sent a bio on the technician, Anthony that would be dispatched to my home.  What great customer service!  Anthony arrived, diagnosed the problem, and answered all of my questions, and presented me with my options.  Anthony replaced the hot water heater promptly, and professionally.  He was personable, reliable, and knowledgeable.  Hot water again!!!  What a great customer experience Hansen Family provided from the office staff to the technician.  Erik even texted me the next day to follow up, and make sure everything was working well, and I was satisfied.  I would highly recommend Hansen Family Plumbing and Air!  Thank you to all for the wonderful customer service!!

The Neighborhood Plumbing and Air Plumbing Service
I needed to have tankless water heater and water softener installed . I got 3 estimates from plumbers through Yelp. What I liked about Sam is that I could tell he really cared about his customers. He was almost half the cost of his competition . He gave me options and explained the pros and cons of each . The other companies were bigger and sent employees to give me quotes . Just the way they they banged around the house assessing what they needed to do left me with the feeling that they didn't really care about my property or the quality of the work. This was not the case with Sam. He respected the property and the owner. He was very knowledgeable. He was neat , orderly, clean and organized. The quality of his materials were the best and he was almost half the price of the competition. He showed up on time and completed the project in the time he said he would. I could not be happier. Do yourself a favor and use this guy . I assure you that you will be so happy. Bruce Thomas

Precision Air & Plumbing Plumbing Service
In late June of '21 I purchased (2) new, top-of-the-line Amana inverter AC units at the behest of my Precision sales tech, claiming they were the best in class, energy efficient, designed to work in the Arizona summers, and so on. I also purchased the PMA service contract with Precision to ensure timely, efficient and less costly service when emergencies arose.

Just a short year later, both units had completely failed.

As the service contract holder, Precision is responsible for diagnosing and repairing any sold unit under warranty, while the manufacturer is just responsible for producing known good equipment, providing troubleshooting support and honoring warranty replacements. Warranty replacements occur when licensed service technicians like Precision do their due diligence and properly (and efficiently) diagnose and request the appropriate replacement parts or units. My resolution unfortunately took (6) weeks to occur.

Precision initially (and ultimately incorrectly) diagnosed my issue as being a bad master control board, which is the same as the motherboard for a computer system. It operates the entire system. Without it the entire unit is a giant paperweight. These boards are kept at local distributors for ease of access, as well as just a state away in California where the manufacturer is located for overnight/expedited shipping requests for emergency repairs.

Precision made the critical blunder of ordering the replacement board from California standard freight shipping, 5-7 business days. The part was ordered at the tail end of the week, so I ended up waiting over (2) weeks for it to come in. Keep in mind this is the hottest time of the year with 110+ degree temperatures every day. The insulation only does so much without AC, and the inside of the living area was 90+ degrees most days. My family and my pet were distraught. No sleep, heat stroke issues, etc. We pleaded with Precision to do something to order another board in an overnight/expedited fashion, but they said we would just have to wait for this one to come in.

When the replacement board finally arrived, they attempted repairs with it, but only to find that it was seemingly also bad. Two bad boards in a row. What are the odds? Now, I come from an electrical and software engineering background so I know my way around machines and electronic components, especially advanced ones. In a situation where you have a system supposedly indicating failed master control board hardware two times in a row, your educated assumptions lead you to look at the ancillary elements of the unit and not just the failed component for other failures. I explained this to the tech, and they insisted it was just another bad board and they would need to replace it again.

Fast forward to week (5) of no AC. We've now attempted (4) boards, and all had failed.

After (5) weeks of failed troubleshooting attempts, they finally gave in and ordered a new unit, which is what I had been recommending and pleading for since the second failed board 4+ weeks previously. The new unit came and was installed about a week later and is now fully functional. (6) weeks of total troubleshooting time with no AC in the middle of summer.

Update: I worked with Drew, one of the service managers, to iron out some of the issues in a post-mortem fashion and come to a mutual agreement moving forward. Drew offered an additional year of PMA for each AC unit at no cost and was very apologetic to the situation and made some assurances that were appreciated and appropriate. What's the point in going through pain together if it's not something you can learn from and become better for? I will continue to use Precision as long as they are able to improve on their service. The moment that stops being the case we will inevitably part ways.

I was not happy with this company. They came to clear a main line for $70 and then said they would need to hydro jet the line $1300. I should have asked to see photo that supposedly showed paper blocking view of the line. Beware of this company and double check everything they tell you.

we received a flyer in the mail for a new a/c unit with numerous refunds so i went against my better judgement and called them (i would normally never respond to a junk mail letter, but out a/c is over 30 yrs old so i thought what would be the harm).
the telephone operator was an expected overly friendly young man in tempe and he scheduled an appt that was convenient for us. the two salesmen showed up and were very down to earth, friendly, and not overly pushy. regular guys doing their job in my opinion.

lots of options but after we listened to the whole spiel, the bomb was dropped at 12k for a new unit. with all the rebates (plus sales tax), the total came to just under 10k. for a similar but cheaper unit, 8k. our condo is only 900sq ft, so i found it hard to believe we couldn't get anything cheaper, but by now we had determined we weren't going to buy one.

as with any salesman, they had to try. i'm not sure why they do this, but they kept pushing signing a 0% interest bank loan to pay for the unit. it was odd....to me anyway. it was getting late and when we found out we could sign and just cancel the next day, we signed. plus it was getting over an hour into this appt and we were tired and hungry and just wanted to spend the remainnig time after work relaxing.

in all, i wasn't disappointed or satisfied. they were salespeople and doing what they are hired to do. i'm automatically defensive when someone is trying to sell me something...i always feel like i'm getting scammed. i can't really comment on the product because we decided against it, mostly because our old one still works and 10k can be spent in so many other places than an a/c....for now anyway!

Christian Brothers Plumbing Service
We have an older house with a cast iron and clay sewer line.  We called a few companies to obtain a quote.  We were impressed by the response from Christian Brothers.  They offered an alternative approach to ripping up our homes foundation by using a liner.  The work was completed on time, affordable and less invasive than the other companies suggested approaches.  The technicians were courteous and explained what they were doing and why.  We received courtesy calls from the dispatch team who were very polite.  We are looking at some electric work in the future and based on my experience and trust will call Christian Brothers for our service provider.

Thomas Home Services Plumbing Service
This contractor was assigned by our home warranty company after our AC unit stopped cooling.  A supervisor Jerome arrived, took a quick look at the age of the unit and immediately put on a hard sell for a new unit outside of our home warranty.  He said a repair wouldn't even last a couple of months and didn't make sense. While I think a new unit was a wise choice, the approach was a hard sell and OUTSIDE of the home warranty, which paid NOTHING.
Part of what Jerome offered is experience and knowledge since he'd been in the business nearly 2 decades.  Interestingly, he didn't attend any of the job and did not even check their work upon completion.   Workers spoke little English or chose to be non-communicative and behaved rudely.  Our home was left in a horrible mess, with debris scattered across rooms and down stairs, even leaving dangerous metal shards all over the floor!  I punctured my foot upon walking in to the install room after workers left, and believe me, they are going to hear about leaving things in this condition!   I now have a bandaged foot and I have no idea if the unit was even installed properly.  Jerome was only interested in picking up the payment and didn't have the common courtesy to review work the guys did.  This speaks to how little this company cares for customers and a very high level of deception.  Stay FAR far away from this company!   I'm hiring another AC firm to come in and inspect installation job and make any necessary corrections.  I feel I got ripped off for an $8K job ... a terribly messed up home, injured foot and not so much as a quality control check at the end of the job!

Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing & Electric Plumbing Service
I recently received a postcard mail promo and booked TH to perform a whole house plumbing inspection and water heater replacement. My wife was present for the inspection as I was out of town on the scheduled day.

During the service call, wife was informed that our water heater drain valve was corroded shut and therefore couldn't be drained. She was told that it was overdue for replacement due to its age, as it was made in 2003. So my wife authorized them to provide replacement quotes.

When I returned home, I reviewed the quotes and took a look at the water heater. The plumber misidentified the water heater model, somehow overlooking the sticker on the tank stating that it was built in 2013. 9 years is well within the realm of service life for water heaters, so that was one deduct for competence.

The two quotes I received were for $2200 and $3200, for mid and top tier electric conventional replacements. I work in commercial construction, so I did a little bit of research before calling to discuss the quote with their office. The average install price in AZ for a water heater is in the neighborhood of $1500, and $2000+ is possible for higher end units.

Their quotes were not as detailed as I expected, but there were a few red flags that I picked up on. They included gas piping work that doesn't apply to electric heaters, and one of the main differences in their quote tiers was for replacement of the copper shut off valves - that they would have to replace anyway. My current unit height isn't a standard height anymore, and the shut off valves are within the space that would be occupied by a replacement unit. The salesman tried stating that the premium cost buys me a company with a solid reputation (3 stars on 5 yelp ratings is solid??), and extended warranties on the heater, parts and labor. The labor warranty offer was indeed higher than average, but still is outside of the price range I'm comfortable with. I asked the salesman if they were willing to take a look at their numbers, refine them to align with what I know to be a reasonable price target, and provide an updated proposal to earn our business. He stated that he would, and get back to me in a few days. That was last Tuesday.

I called on Friday, and the receptionist told me the salesman was in a meeting and would call me back. I received no call back, so I called again this morning. I asked the receptionist to simply have the salesman call me and tell me if they were able to find something that would work, or not, so I could pivot to another option. I was told the same thing as Friday, that I would get a call before the end of the day. That hasn't happened, so I'm posting this to hopefully save someone else from wasting their time.

If you want to be gouged on one of the most basic home plumbing repairs that anyone with basic copper piping and household electrical knowledge could DIY in exchange for not having a labor warranty, or be given the runaround by a salesman rather than being shown the basic decency of returning a committed call, Tucker Hill is the plumber for you. If you want to find the best value for your hard earned money, I suggest looking elsewhere. I wish I had seen Jessica's review below before scheduling, it sounds like she had the same takeaway.

By the way - talked to the plumbing subcontractor on my project today. He confirmed that $1,500 - $2,000 is the ballpark I can expect to be in and that he just completed the same size job as mine for that last week.
