PlumbSmart Plumbing Heating and Air

I regret to inform you that my experience with Plumbsmart has been less than satisfactory. On August 31, 2023, I had Derek from Plumbsmart come out to replace a hose bib at my duplex. During this visit, he attempted to upsell me, which I declined. However, on September 8, 2023, the hose bib started leaking again. I promptly contacted Plumbsmart, and they assured me that someone would come to complete the repair by Monday, September 11, 2023. Unfortunately, as of Tuesday, September 12, 2023, the repair has not been completed.

Upon contacting them today, I spoke with a representative who informed me that the repair is not covered under warranty due to my refusal of the upsell. This information was quite disappointing, given the initial assurance of timely service. Furthermore, when I attempted to speak with management regarding this matter, I was placed on hold for an extended period without resolution.

I believe it is essential for service providers like Plumbsmart to uphold their commitments and provide fair and transparent services to their customers. My experience thus far has left me dissatisfied, and I hope that this feedback can contribute to improvements in their customer service and policies.

We wanted to have our 20 year old air conditioners replaced. Plumbsmart gave us an estimate for 2 heat pumps. Other companies had suggested we add ductwork. Plumbsmart suggested we wait to see if the new units would fix the problem. They offered 4 year interest free financing which was a plus. So, we had them install the heat pumps the next week. They were very neat and quick. We were pleased with their work and attitude. Later, when we applied for the SRP rebate, the units came in below the required SEER rating for the rebate. Plumbsmart paid the rebate themselves. Great customer service.

I called Plumbsmart Thursday  Jan. 2, 2021 who sent repair man on Friday Jan. 3rd at the promised time.  I had lost freon charge on my 2 ton mini split system which was installed 11 months ago.  The technician was very nice and  spotted the 1/4 connection fitting just where he guessed it would be (at eye level on the wall above my unit.  He had a replacement fitting on his truck and gave me an estimate to repair it.
My unit takes less than 4 lbs of freon at cost of less than $10.00 a pound and the cost of the fitting at cost of $30.00 or less.  The job could be completed in one hour or maybe 1 1/2 hours.  The estimate presented to me was for over $600.00. ???  Absolutely ridiculous.   Please, Please get estimates before you use these people.

We needed a new bathroom sink and faucet installed, including an A/C condensation hose work. Chase and his assistant gavr Me an estimate before starting and we were very happy with the end result. Thanks

My husband and I just bought a new refrigerator and when they went to install it they found the valve for the ice machine from our old fridge wouldn't turn off.  We contacted PlumbSmart on Sunday, and William came out on Monday (arrived early), and replaced the valve for a very reasonable quote.  We would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for nice, friendly, and affordable plumbing services.  Ken and Paula Collins

I can not say enough good things! What started out as a small leak in our kitchen ceiling ended up being a much larger problem. They were the only ones who were able to explain why it had even happened in the first place (we'd had 2 other companies come out prior to them and one said we would need our whole house repiped).  They had it fixed within a couple days and had a wonderful recommendation (copper state) for the demo company who came out within 90 mins of PlumbSmarts first time to our home. Shout out to copper state (I'll do a review for them once our project Is complete) who helped me contact my insurance to file a claim. Wonderful service. PlumbSmart had excellent communication & went above and beyond on all fronts. Absolutely recommend them for ANY/ALL your plumbing needs!

The employees were all very respectful and nice, but a year later our air conditioner is still not working properly. We were told by their comfort consultants that our new system was compatible with our existing damper system. The last visit we had from a technician was June 13, 2022.  He worked diligently to make our system work but, in the end, told us that the zone board needed to replaced because it was not giving voltage to the dampers.  He did a temporary fix by setting the dampers to be open all the time.  Now our phone calls are not being returned.  My husband called on 7/18, 7/26, 8/1, and 8/5.  Finally, we were sent an email on 8/5, we did not get the courtesy of a phone call.   PlumbSmart's email asked for more money because they are now saying the damper system is not compatibility with the air conditioner and the zone board is on back order with no ETA on when it will arrive.  They did not reply to our email asking if they will be out to replace the warranty part.  We don't know if that is contingent upon us giving them another $2,000.  Meanwhile, the part of our home that we don't use is cool whereas the great room is not, so we now have floor fans to move the air to the appropriate place.

Quoted me $750 to fix problem. Then cut unnecessary holes into walls, didn't repair, then quoted me $6000. The actual cost to fix? $200 snake service. Which wasn't even recommended or done. Instead they wanted to jackhammer concrete, pull out kitchen cabinets and tile-ruining them  - all not needed. Scammers

Excellent!  My husband busted the washing machine pipe trying to remove the hose and we had to turn all the water off to the house since it was leaking into the wall. This was at 6pm. We called a few other 24/7 plumbers and they couldn't get over here until 1 pm the next day! Then we called plum smart and they were at our door in 40 minutes. Allen was great. Very professional, nice and straight forward. He cut the dry wall, removed and replaced both the hot and cold water pipes and reinstalled the drywall. All within an hour! And it was only a total of $223! When we admitted we thought we had just done thousands of dollars in damage, he joked that he could add $900 to the bill to make us feel better! We will definitely be calling these guys in the future, hopefully not in another emergency situation!

I woke up last night to a hot house, and my AC was blowing hot air. Called a few AC companies and could not get an appointment scheduled for today. Then I called plumbSmart and they scheduled me for an appointment that day, although it was from 3 p.m. to 5pm At 4:50 they called me and explained to me that the technician was running a little late. That was not a problem I just needed my AC fixed. The technician showed up about 45 minutes late. He came in the house and check the filter and check the thermostat and went out to the unit and opened it up and corrected the problem. The price was reasonable for the problem that I had. I would recommend this company and I will use PlumbSmart again.

I booked an appointment with plumbsmart several weeks ago for an AC tune up on both of my units. I took the day off work to make sure I would be there. It was scheduled for Tuesday 5/9.  On Friday, 5/5, I get a call from plumbsmart that afternoon informing me that they have to cancel my appointment in 4 days because they have too many other high priority calls that they had to take care of and wouldn't have time for my tune up.  The guy apologized and said the earliest he could get me back on the schedule was over 3 weeks away. He said he had a list of people he had to reschedule.  This is infuriating because if I had known they would be so willing to cancel for other calls, I would have booked it with another company.  On top of that, since I had taken the day off, it was too late for my company to add me back on the schedule so now I also lost out on a days pay. Perhaps this company should not overbook appointments and allow more time on their schedule each day for their high priority calls.  Maybe plumbsmart should warn their customers at the time of booking that there is a possibility they will get bumped if a high priority call comes in - then let us decide if we want to risk it.   Let this be a warning for anyone booking routine maintenance - you will get bumped if something better comes up - aka - calls that will be more profitable for them.  I think good customer service would be to treat everyone as a high priority customer. I have no respect for companies that play these games.

Very satisfied with work and price on a water heater install and outdoor spigot replacement.  Very unsatisfied that they recommended a water damage remediation company that I vetted and discovered that company has terrible reviews on yelp and Better Business Bureau.  Plumbsmart keep doing what you do well and make sure the industry partners you recommend are A+.  A bad recommendation reflects poorly on your business profile.

Pleased with the responsiveness of the company and the reasonable pricing. We ordered a toilet in the morning that they were able to install same afternoon. I appreciate the electronic invoices as well - saves on paper clutter.

I cannot say enough good things about Plumb Smart and Robert Deal! They were efficient and inexpensive. Robert was vital in helping us deal with a very stubborn insurance company when our kitchen flooded. I would give a million stars if I could! Love, love, love this company! They are now my forever plumbers!

I called to set the appointment. They scheduled a technician to arrive between 1 3 with a 15 min notice .
It's now 4 pm .
No phone call .
No tech
No business !

I had friends coming into town and decided I wanted to make them a nice dinner. Wouldn't luck have it, my kitchen drain decided to clog up without any warning. I panicked and called a friend who recommended PlumbSmart. When I called, I talked to a man named Matthew who was quite pleasant to speak with. He was empathic to my situation and able to get a plumber out to me the same day! Upon arrival, the plumber named Shawn assessed the situation, gave an upfront cost estimate, and unclogged the drain efficiently. The service provided by PlumbSmart was professional and outstanding from start to finish. I will be using them for any other plumbing issues that arise!

Our 5 year old Rheem gas water heater stopped working, and I contacted Plumbsmart to get an estimate to repair or replace the unit.  James arrived and discovered that the tank had a leak.  The unit was still under warranty and James offered to contact Rheem for a warranty repair.  James was able to get a full replacement for a new unit, picked up the new unit and made a very professional installation and we are good for another six years. I highly recommend Plumbsmart.

Their  slogan is Plumbers Charge Too Much  That should be the name of the company, i.e, We Charge Too Much.  Estimate went from $550.00 to $850, to install two toilets and three bathroom faucets, with all materials supplied.  Rip off artists extraordinaire.  Can't believe they have any return customers.  Let the buyer beware!!

After posting this review, I received a telephone call from owner Wayne D, who listened to my complaint and refunded part of my cost, after I informed him that the work to cost ratio vs original quote did not seem fair.  I was surprised to receive the call in the first place and equally surprised with the partial refund.  The plumber did a great job and my only complaint was the added cost.   It's gratifying to see a company so concerned with customer satisfaction that the owner calls and tries to make it right.  Thank You Wayne, you will have my future business and recommendation to others.

This was my 3rd time calling PlumbSmart. Every experience I have had has been wonderful.  The 1st time I contacted them, they were the only company who could come out in a reasonable time frame. We had to shut the water off to the home, so of course coming promptly was important to me.   With each experience, I have nothing bad to say. They are great with their communication; they show up within the time given.  They called me prior to coming, even call to follow up with me after the repair has been completed.  Adam was the last plumber to service my home and he was great. Friendly, repairs went well and made sure to show me how to test my own water pressure on the home.

We recently lost our AC repair guy due to him relocating out of state. As always, trying to find a technician that is not only going to be reasonably priced but also trustworthy and operates at a high level of integrity can be tricky. It appears as though we might've found a replacement with plumbsmart, as we recently hired them to do a job for us. We never know what the technicians are going to tell us which does cause some apprehension. They can tell us anything and we have no choice but to believe them. Plumbsmart shared with us some of the potential issues that could arise in the coming months or years. He could've easily had and told us that we need to have our compressor replaced here right now to make some extra money but rather told us that we probably would have it for at least this summer or next summer. We appreciate the honesty and the reasonable pricing. Will be using them for all our AC needs as well as referring them to friends and family.

These guys are horribly over-priced.  They did get out there to service very quickly.  I just has an issue with a small pipe that needed to be replaced outside and an issue with my toilet leaking.  There was also an issue with one of my faucets.  They said they could fix the pipe for $550, and the toilet for $165, but couldn't do anything with the faucet because faucets are dicey.  Um, you're a plumber buddy, faucets is up your alley.  Anyway, after that wild quote, I asked him how much of that was parts, his answer I don't know we don't keep track of that.  Definitely a lie, but if he were to tell me how much was parts, I would know I was getting billed at the rate of about $400+ an hour.  I was like, OK, well that's a pretty wildly high price, can you do any better.  To which he said, yes, and dropped it to $500 and $130.  Anyway, long and the short of it is, I had another plumber come over and check it out and he was able to fix the whole thing for $175.  These guys are a scam, they prey on people who don't know what things cost, run and hide from them.

Update: I added the photos of the quotes for proof since the owner says it must be the wrong company...LOL.

Nate and Samuel came out to install a 16veer a/c unit today. They were here from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. they were unbelievable. Very informative and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. It was 106 degrees today and they got it done. I have to throw Matt Morales and Matt Decker a shout-out for working with me throughout the whole process as well. After Nate and Sam left something unfortunately went wrong and Robert was here 1 hour later at 6 p.m. To fix it. He explained the problem and fixed it. I would suggest them to anyone who asked for a HVAC company. Very professional, prompt, and friendly. Thank you for an easy and painless install.

Very disappointed with PlumbSmart of Mesa, AZ.
They sold and installed a brand new electric water heater in my home on 3/24/2012.  The water heater failed in January 2013, so we called them back.
Naturally they would stand behind this 10 month new water heater, right?
Wrong!
I will spare the details of my go-'rounds with PlumSmart, but they actually charged me $175 for a replacement water heater (Oh - but the labbor was free).
The water heater manufacturer could not help, because the installer is supposed to register the S/N of the installed H2O heater with the manufacturer - - and PlumbSmart had not done so.
The whole idea of having to pay for any part of a 10 month old new water heater installation left a bad taste in my mouth. I can not recommend PlumbSmart for new appliances.

We were trying to install a bidet and then the hose started to leak. Then more water started leaking. Luckily we found PlumbSmart. The lady who answered the call was friendly and got our service request in. Brian Garcia came to the house within the hour and got the leak fixed and helped install the bidet. He was friendly and professional. Thank you PlumbSmart!

They responded within 60 mins of an ac issue I was having and then quickly responded to a follow up service call and didn't charge me. Very ethical. Quick to provide a quote to replace entire ac unit.

In hindsight, had we simply visited yelp and read all of the negative reviews, we would never have worked with Plumbsmart.  We had never dreamed that an AZ Licensed Contractor would require that we sign a damage waiver previous to work being performed, leaving us liable for the shoddy workmanship and damage which followed.

Plumbsmart advertise's that they are a discount Plumber, but nothing is further from the truth. They charges us $400/hour to perform a simple task.

Now they are spamming us with unwanted emails and texts.

I'm not even sure where to begin explaining how awesome this company is! I had a plumbing emergency, made a single phone call comma and a plumber was in contact with me to guide me through buying the right components myself in less than 20 mins. In less than two hours, start to finish, my plumbing issue was fixed everything was cleaned up, and I was invoiced right away. I cannot cannot express how pleased I am with the way mr. Mackay handled himself and my issue. Wayne, you run one hell of a company thank you!!!

...well that was interesting....plumber showed up, this company I've used several times now, and he immediately starts with the might as well replace the entire tank for $1200 bucks. It's 11 years old.That's about how long they last...I say yeah but it still makes plenty of hot water for me...he say yeah but this is applying a patch to a unit that is probably full of calcium and going out soon blah blah blah...again with the not so soft sell of a brand new unit. After going back and forth, I firmly let him know just replace that valve for now...How much is it? $289....I ask how much was parts and how much was labor..He showed me on his screen it was just the total price, 285 or 289. I said do it..I then watched him get a monkey wrench, undo the old release valve, put some pipe dope on the new one, screw it in..That was it. I check on Amazon later and saw that valve runs about 15-20 bucks...took him about 2 minutes as he had to put that sealant of the new threads of the one going in....Called a highly Yelp rated competitor afterwards...They said they do it for $160. YouTube videos basically showed I could have done it myself and saved all that money for more tequila and tacos...feeling kinda stupid right now...I'm not trying to get anyone to do work for free. There's their time, experience, overhead, markup, etc...but over $200 for that job was not nice...and he didn't even bother to close the overflow pipe loop that wasn't done when the unit was installed...see picture below. I'd think for north of $250 for a 2 minute job, he could've at least fixed that up for me...think I'll be dealing with that equally highly rated competitor from right here in Tempe from now on.

ps.Leap Day 2020-Owner of company has been trying to call me. We spoke today. He was very sincere in his apology that I should not have been treated this way and made offers to make it right. I accepted. We talk about how important creating 'raving fans' for both of our businesses is. He's committed to using what happened here with me in a staff meeting to educated his folks out in the field about how he's wants customers treated at all time. This was not inline with how he runs his business. I believe him.

They're friendly, quick, efficient, and get it done without issues...what more do you need from a plumber?

Our technician Brian was a good guy, he texted us when he was on the way and when he was close, and he was RIGHT on time, almost too fast. He was patient and understanding of our issues, he took the time to look around and analyze the situation and didn't look for more problems, if you know what I mean. Just spotted it, told us what we needed, did it, and that's all.

He took care of our clog and bad pipe and it was done in a jiffy for a decent price. I appreciated this company and what they did for us, good solid business, no issues whatsoever.

Busted water fitting under my mobile home on Friday late afternoon, after calling 3 other emergency plumbers and getting no response I found PlumbSmart, answered all my concerns and set an appointment up for the following afternoon. Darrell showed up early and took care of the problem and another fitting that was looking like it was ready to fail. Quick and efficient, will be my go to plumbing company from now on.

I think their advertised pricing is misleading.  I had a clogged kitchen drain that was cleared but not for the $49.95 price they advertise or tell you about when you call.  All that covers is running the disposer for a few seconds and that might (emphasis on MIGHT) unclog the drain. I had already tried several drain openers to no avail so turning the disposer on/off was a joke.  Since the disposer trick didn't clear the drain, the price became $134 and change. Since they were already here, I had them do the job even though I could have had it done for around $115.  I suspect if I had not had them do it, I would have been charged a travel fee or similar charge. The 3 star rating is for the fact that they completed the job and cleared the clog.  I would not have them again.

Worst plumbing Company that I have ever dealt with.  I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone. They make false promises, cancel appointments, etc....

Our kitchen sink stopped draining and backed up. Plumb Smart scheduled us within 24 hours. Communicated & confirmed with multiple text messages both before and after. Excellent service from Trent who worked very hard to diagnose and fix our issue that was unfortunately more than a quick fix. Trent showed great knowledge and respect for our house. On time, efficient and a good value. No price gauging whatsoever here - completely fair. I greatly appreciated the helpful attitude from Trent.

Plumb Smart is now saved in my phone as Great Plumber.

I am editing my original review.  This company deserves 5 stars.  I had a large amount of plumbing installed on my house to include water softeners, RO system, tank less water heater, angle stops, and fixtures.  Over the course of two years I have noticed hard water build up.  I also noted media in my toilets.

They installed the units correctly.  However the plumbing in my wall was out of wack because of incorrect piping that was done on the rebuild.  PlumbSmart came out to my house and brought the manufacturer to make sure install was to standard.  After ordering a replacement system from the vendor, they installed it within a week.  They even went the extra mile to install a monitor to watch the pressures during the evening.  They are helpful, on time, and they do thorough work.  I will certainly use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Great and quick service on a Sunday. And they didn't overcharge me. Yes there was an emergency call fee which was reasonable.  The technician was polite and prompt. He went above and beyond. Will use PlumbSmart again!

It is a second time I used this Company and I am pleased with their service. Charles Bauer is a competent and professional technician. I appreciate this company and Charles Bauer specifically.

I had a major plumbing emergency and called them, they came fairly fast to help me. At first I had some major problems with miscommunication and price. I was very pleased with the way everything was handled and feel this speaks volumes about their customer service when they listened to my issues and remedied the situation quickly. These guys have stellar customer service! I called late in the day and got Rob on the phone. After thoroughly discussing my issue he said he would get in touch with a tech and back to me with a service time within 5mins. He didn't lie! He had a tech out to my house within 30-45mins! Once he arrived he went right to work. We have a crazy plumbing situation (nothing is code or correct) but he managed to clear our backup and offer some advice as to our next steps. I really appreciated the thoroughness. Would definitely call these guys back in the future!

I've used PlumbSmart for a few minor need and most recently for a full install of a new AC unit. They have always been professional, on time, and fairly priced. I highly recommend reaching out to them with any similar needs.

Sam did I good job clearing the kitchen drain. Had a problem with what the $49 drain cleaning covered and it ended up costing $75 which I think is a fair price for the work he did. They need to be more up front about the $49 includes.

PlumbSmart did a great job on my property in Mesa. I called them to get a free estimate for re-piping the hot water system. Service Manager Gary Kelliher showed up and he walked me through the house and explained how the layout of the new piping from water heater in the garage.
He also assured me that it will be done in one day. They have to run the piping in the attic and down in the wall in four locations, and I was amazed of the nice and neat cut in my walls. Gary came back the very next day and inspected the job.
To summarize, they are very professional, on time, fair and reasonably priced.

We were about to install a new washing machine/dryer and discovered the valves were corroded and needed to be replaced.

I found PlumbSmart after a quick Craigslist search and gave them a call. Within an hour, their repairman, Charlie came out and did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and efficiently solved the problem. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Obviously no one wishes for plumbing issues, but I'd use them again if necessary!

I had Plumbsmart install a new A/C for me, and it was a difficult fit for the airhandler to go back in the closet. Robert is amazing, figured things out and made it work perfectly.
I can't say enough great stuff about this company, their employees, and how they treat customers.
You will not only get the best price, but they listen to you and answer truthfully. I would give Plumbsmart top rating.

Brian, from Plumb Smart fixed my bathroom Faucets.  He did a really great job, but he also fixed the spout that was crooked and water leaked below the sink.
The thing is I never asked him to or told him about it and he just fixed it at no extra charge.  
I will definitely call for Brian from Plumb Smart the next time something goes wrong.

I have to say I was totally impressed with their service. Mike showed up just like he was suppose to and was courteous and pleasant. Completed the job quickly and professionally. My one and only complaint is that I thought the price to install a disposal was on the high side.  I knew before and what a disposal should cost.

Plumb Smart saved our butt.

When our rooftop AC unit got loud and never shut off, our incumbent AC repair company came out and completely misdiagnosed the problem. They told us our compressor had gone out. This would have cost us thousands of dollars! Some good friends of ours had a son who worked at PlumbSmart. Brandon Manus came out (next day! in July! high season!) and determined a completely different root cause. It was just the TXV (Thermal Expansion Valve). Compressor is fine! He saved us thousands of dollars.

Further, we paid our current plumber for annual maintenance for some 20 years. Brandon also showed us pictures and video of the AC unit internals, which were completely full of dust and soot. Our current plumber was apparently NOT doing their annual service that we'd been paying for for some 20 years.

I highly recommend PlumbSmart and especially Brandon Manus.

My upstairs TRANE HVAC went out, and I wanted repairs. Units were over 20 years, tech suggested using expense money on a new unit and scheduling a sales rep. The rep was great going over the estimate, why, and how. Due to the expense, I got six estimates. They were the second cheapest, however, I picked them due to the great reviews/recommendations/BBB A+ rating. Rep informed me it would take 2 days for two units. Travis and Julian showed up on time Thursday, explained the process, prepared the site, and showed me pictures step by step. They were BOTH very professional, and respectful and took extreme pride in their work. Every day they cleaned up, then prepared the area and cleaned up both inside and outside. I was extremely impressed with Travis and Julian's work! I cannot express that enough.

I called PlumbSmart Plumbing a couple of days after Christmas when my laundry room was backing up onto the floor. They had a technician (Glenn) come out within one hour of my phone call and he did an outstanding job getting the problem resolved. The price was less than half of some of the traditional plumbing companies. I would highly recommend them!

Our family has used Plumbsmart for many years. My brother has rental properties and they have always been honest, fairly priced and do the job correctly the 1st time. They just replaced our hot water heater and Jeremy was our plumber. He did a great job and we highly reccomend this local company!

The BEST Plumbing company in ARIZONA! Matthew and Robert came to our home during an incredibly stressful time. Not only did they attend to our concerns, they developed a plan to assist us in the most efficient way while keeping our financial concerns at the forefront. They we friendly and very knowledgeable. Called on Saturday to schedule a project for today Thursday, 6/18. I assume I spoke with the owner on Saturday. He told me if there was any issues that he would call to reschedule. I contacted them this morning and they said there was a scheduling conflict. I said that I wasn't notified. The conflict was they didn't have me on the schedule. I thought I was working with a competent, professional company. It's a shame, because I really wanted to give them the business.

I want to thank John for taking the time to come out and educate me on my two Trane units. John was honest, hardworking, and an all-around good guy. Thanks, John!

Don't work for this company. Bad management. Not organized. No communication. This place is a joke. Don't pay their employees for 2 weeks.

Needed immediate services. Someone came within 2 hours. Fixed the problem and at an impressive low cost. Long story short, fast, friendly, affordable. I will be using them for future needs.

Plumb smart set up our new salon location in Peoria. They did the underground pipes for the three shampoo bowls  and also two esthetician's rooms. They did a beautiful job. Installed a large commercial tankless water heater that we love so much. Takes up no space at all in our closet. They have also worked on minor things in our other two locations in Mesa and Peoria. We highly recommend plumb smart. Friendly staff and always willing to go the extra mile.

I was having some remodeling work done in my house. Part of the plan required plumbing work. As Byron, the PlumSmart representative was going over the cost with me, the other tradesmen were listening in on the conversation. I knew I was getting a con job by the actions of the representative. I did not contract the job with PlumSmart. I called another company and had the job completed at 1/4 the cost.
Forgetting about this experience, I called upon PlumSmart to trouble shoot leaking water due to excessive water bills. The same technician showed up, ran tests with a scope charged me $4K with no solution to the problem.
I cannot recommend this company. My advise is to seek plumbing help elsewhere.

A few days ago I had a leaky shutoff valve under my kitchen sink, I called in the morning and they sent someone out same day which was a huge plus because of the urgency of my situation. Both techs that came were very curtios, respectful and professional, their work was A+ and we will definitely call them again if we ever need any additional plumbing work in the future.

I called Plum Smart because advertising said AC Guys charge to much. I had a clogged coil that costed me $350 Mat cleaned my coil and did it promptly. My issue is Mat misdiagnosed further problems that my compressor was not starting. He offered to try a start kit that was sold online for $44 for $300 is see if that would work. I asked Mat and he confirmed there was power to the compressor. However there was a issue with my thermostat not functioning because I played with it and the compressor turned on. Mat was not correct there was power to the compressor. If I had allowed scenario to play out, I would have looked at a $3000 compressor replacement or complete unit replacement. I told him I would wait for a while to see if the compressor would click on and paid him for the cleaning only. Thought it was pricey but I get it this time of year you pay. AC guys are swamped. Supply and demand. Gave two stars because of prompt service. Otherwise would have been one.

Needed to have my kitchen hot water supply valve replaced. Found Plumb Smart on Craiglist (y' takes your chances sometimes, I know). Nick answered my call quickly and set me up with Charlie a little over an hour later. I got a text with a picture so I knew exactly who to expect.

Charlie was absolutely on-time, had everything he needed, was both friendly and professional, and got the job done fast and correctly. Finished my new faucet install very shortly afterward.

I would certainly call on them again if needed!

Experienced super fast service. Discovered a leak around the toilet. I called PlumbSmart right away (thanks to all the good Yelp reviews), and within 20 minutes, a plumber was at my door. He diagnosed the problem right away and completed the job very quickly. He was very professional. Cleaned everything up. Price was OK, but plumbers are always expensive (ie, not free). I will more than likely be using their service in the future.

If I could give zero stars I would.  I have never written a review, but am doing so now as I have never been so offended by a company.  This past Oct, I needed the handle of my toilet fixed.  Two PlumbSmart employees came to my house, worked on the toilet, told me they got in trouble with the office because they had stayed at my house too long, and then they literally took off.  Nothing was fixed; they told me I needed to buy a specialty part.  I flushed the toilet ONCE and it overflowed.  NOTE:  there was nothing wrong with my toilet before they came.  I had a problem with the handle and that's why they were checking it.  

Fortunately, I had someone working at the house and he was able to stop the flow.  Long story short, I had to get a NEW toilet and have that installed.  My friend who had referred them called the owner of the company because she was so disturbed--she had referred a number of clients to them.  He gave my friend a $100 credit and then reassured her that he would make it right.  I never got a call.  

Two months later, I got a bill.  Not only a bill, but repeated calls asking to pay for work that had not been conducted.  One day, in a span of approximately 30 minutes, they called 5 times.  They charged me for installing a chrome handle and running a performance test on my toilet.  Finally, I blocked them and had my new plumber call the owner.  They have removed the charge and we sent them the bill containing costs for a new toilet and installation.

Got a quick response to my HomeAdvisor request from Nick in the office, and had same day service scheduled. John R. came out and did the work for my parents, dealt with me remotely, and went above and beyond taking care of an extra that we didn't expect for a reasonable price. Their pricing was fair to begin with, so I'm very satisfied. Will be making the call to them first for any of my future needs. 5 stars isn't enough, thanks PlumbSmart.

We had an issue with our sewer main, and been dealing with another company, and 3 days later the problem was back.  We called Plumb Smart and they were very prompt in coming out.  Gary diagnosed the issue and sent Charles out later that day and stayed until 830 pm to finish the job, and the price was the same as what they quoted!  They were very professional, polite and above all knowledgeable.  They really made this unpleasant situation bearable.  We really appreciate everyone's professionalism.  Big shout out to our service person, Charles, who stayed late to get the job done, and Gary who called to see how things were progressing.  Top notch service!  We highly recommend this company.

Being an out-of-state landlord can be stressful when you get a random phone call from your tenant saying the garbage disposal is gushing water. I jumped on CraigsList and found ad ad for PlumbSmart and gave them a call. Usually I call a couple different places but they were very nice on the phone and their price to come and replace the disposal on that very same day was very good (granted its my first go-round with a disposal).

The technician was late for the appointment, but he did give my tenant a heads up so I won't take away a star for that. Communication is key. He fixed up the disposal quickly and my tenant said he was a very nice guy.

I'll keep their number handy for any future issues I may have with my rentals.

Problem in your home call pump smart they charge more than a plumber so I don't know what all the big deal is

It was necessary to replace the toilets in my master bathroom, which has travertine flooring, and my guest bathroom, which has carpeting.  I had been putting off doing the replacements as I was concerned that the new toilets would not occupy the same footprint as the old ones, which were 40+ years old.  The PlumbSmart technicians exceeded all reasonable expectations in terms of situating the new fixtures.  As PlumbSmart has done excellent work for us in the past, I should have known that there would be no installation problems.  Plumbing problems can be a nightmare, so it's good to have a reliable company like PlumbSmart ready to provide help when needed.

Update:  I did get a call from a manager within an hour of posting my review and I did appreciate that! He called to go over my concerns and will come and pick up my old softener.   Thank you for the follow-up!!

I was surprised to read all the great ratings on Angie's List and Yelp and I had such a meh experience for the $1300 I spent on a water softener. Such a disappointment b/c I selected this company based on the good reviews.

There is a lack of communication and organization that was a turn off to me and a bit of unprofessionalism.   The water softener is installed- but I hardly see a difference- and a water test a week after installation showed I still had hard water.  First I called and asked if they took Amex, they said No, but would make an  exception in this case.  I ask, Do you do Saturday installations? I was told 'Yes.  I scheduled for a Saturday.  Saturday comes around and the tech tells me he is running late.  Then, he asks do I have possession of the softener?'  I said no.  I was thinking if I ordered a softener through you to be installed, why would I be in possession of the softener? Then, he asks me what size the water pipes are?  I am thinking, why am I being asked that now?  I said I don't know.  Then, he asked that I text him a picture of the water softener pipes/loop.  I did so.

He calls me maybe 20 minutes later to tell me the company hat has my softener is closed Saturdays and he cannot pick it up.  If you deal with a water softener manufacturer for your installs, how do you not know it is closed Saturdays?

I re-scheduled for a Monday after work.  I wish I would have just cancelled after that mishap.  On Monday, I was greeted with a Nice to meet you, but don't care for your name as that is my Ex's name.  Really?  Unprofessional and honestly I don't care, I just was my water softener installed. I said had I known to pick up the softer, I would have done it.  He said, Oh only contractors can pick up the softener.'  Then, I am thinking why did you ask me if I was in possession of the softener.  Shouldn't your invoice say I ordered a softener through you.

Then of course, he says oh those are different size pipes and I don't know if I have the fittings.  Long story short- the work got done.  When it got time to pay, he said they do not take Amex.  I said I was told by Rob you would accept it. He called Rob and asked did you tell her we take Amex and then he asked again did you tell her that (like I would make this up.)  Rob apparently, Oh yeah, I guess I did.  By this time I was upset and the tech is like Don't get mad at me, I just did a bunch of re-piping 3/4 inch pipe and didn't charge you for it.  The final annoyance is he shows me a screen shot of a calculator on his phone that shows $1250 + $150 and says is this correct?   I was thinking what kind of invoice is a calculator screen shot? I said, What is the $150?  He did not know and had to call.  It was the tax.  Why does this company not have an itemized sheet of paper that says Tax= $150.  I am all for technology, but it needs to be a line item itemized professional screen shot.  I shouldn't have to ask what is this charge and have someone say, I don't know.  Then he starts dictating stuff on his phone while I am standing there. ..replaced water softener .. 5 year warranty. That was just awkward.  Write is down or have a pre-printed sheet that says the warranty information.  And to put icing on the cake, they did not take my old water softener b/c he did not have room in the van.  The heavy tank part is still sitting in my garage.

Just a bizarre, disappointing experience.

I have finally found a company that I can rely on to get my plumbing chores done properly, with quality and attention to detail.The service was great.  Wayne, the owner, listened to the work I needed to have done, we set a date, and his employee Byron came out to complete the work.  Both of these gentlemen were courteous and professional in dealing with me.  Byron was here on time, and the work was done without making a mess of my home.  I recommend this company and its staff.  If you need work done, give Wayne a call.  If I have plumbing problems in the future, I will be sure to call Wayne at PlumbSmart.

Had an AC system plus a reduct installed in April of 2020. Needless to say I will never do business with this outfit again. They sell products and services that they are not experts on and have no clue how to remedy problems that have existed from day one. They will come out as many times as you ask but never fix anything. It's the same old story and after 10 plus times, I give up! At this point I'll chalk it up to a $14,000 mistake. Be careful when choosing a company to replace your AC, correct installation is critical and these guys did mine wrong. I could of closed my eyes and randomly chose a company out of the phone book and would have been better off than what I got from these guys. Buyer beware.

A few months ago, in February 2016, I was considering installing air conditioning at our laundromat.  We got several bids and Plumbsmart convinced me I should do the job right then because during the winter when business is slow, I can get high quality work at decent prices.  Plumbsmart's pricing was okay.  They estimated the building should have a 7-ton unit, but I went with a 10-ton unit to assure we would keep the place cool without struggling.  I paid them $11,700.  Installation itself left much to be desired with the quality of work, damaged ceiling tiles and the awful way they restored.  I complained and they corrected the cosmetic repairs within the week, but it left me wondering how well the system's ducting was installed based solely on how they tried to piece back broken tiles to my ceiling.  

Then comes summer and the start of my horrific experience with this company.  The system ran day and night and barely moved the thermostat needle.  Customers are angry and going to our competitors.  Yes, I'm losing customers!!  Plumbsmart has been out many times in attempts to fix the system, but hardly any improvement.  One day, they asked for $1250 to install two more air intakes vents.  I paid.  It made some improvement, but we are still far away to what is acceptable.  Folks, I am NOT asking for 75 degree temps.  I would be happy with 85, but the system doesn't come close.  I'm mad as hell.  I keep losing customers.  Right now, it's 9pm at night.  The unit is set at 78, and it's 92 inside.  92 is not acceptable to anyone's standards.  Plumbsmart drags out with their responses and it'll be winter before they find a solution.  The system was installed last February.  It's now about August, and still no solution in sight.  I DO NOT recommend Plumbsmart for installing new air conditioners for any home or business.  I do not believe they know what they are doing.  I am leaving these reviews in hopes to warn others... and Plumbsmart has not heard the last of me.  I plan on filing a complaint with the contractors board, BBB, any other gov't agencies which may help regulate hvac contractors and I will be filing a court case for resolution.  I have paid them $13,000.  I would like to cool my place to 85... am I asking too much?  My experience with Plumbsmart and the results they have provided are beyond ridiculous.

I have had a very bad experience dealing with this company. Seem nice enough on the phone but honestly they don't handle business. I am now waiting on the fourth attempt to get them to fix what was the original problem. I mean some of the issues are just ridiculous for a company to have such as having to call them back several times to get simple answers. Its hard to find a good plumber but cheap does not always make it worth the headache of dealing with one of these companies. I normally do not talk bad about a company but this is not what I would expect from a company with good reviews. The plumber that came over did it fast and walked out and then came back, did it fast and walked out and here we go again. Believe me or don't I just had to speak my mind.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Matt did the quote and was awesome! We got 3 other quotes and was impressed with the response and professionalism of PlumbSmart. The following week Michael and Trent came out and installed the system (today). They blew me away with the communication and the time spent on the install. You can tell they truly cared about the install and the home owner. They were knowledgeable and just downright awesome! Highly recommend these threes rockstars and this company. Incredible guys! Keep it up!!!

I needed a hose bib installed on the outside of my house. I called PlumbSmart Matt answered and walked me through the process. He scheduled a plumber and worked around my schedule. The day the plumber came out he was on time and very respectful. Keith knew exactly what he was doing and explained and showed me how to do it if I ever needed to take care of something similar in the future. This company went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely use them in the future and give them a high recommendation to whom ever needs a plumber.

We have had plumbsmart out twice now, for separate unrelated issues. Charles Bauer was our service technician.  I was very impressed with his professionalism, safety measures (ready to go with mask), price and text message with picture and time of arrival.  I would highly encourage you to call plumbsmart for all your plumbing needs.  They even give military or senior discounts! I was so happy I referred him to other family members.

Great experience with these folks today. Called them for a coil cleaning & tune up special. David was super professional and walked me through what he did and what he was seeing. There was a discrepancy between the price/services their CSR promised but David called management and the company agreed to their CSR's commitment. No pressure. Units are now running cooler and better. Best experience I've had with an AC company in 17 years in the Valley.

After reading my initial review I received a call from management who offered to replace the unit for only the difference in what I had paid and what a replacement unit would cost.   He was very understanding of the miscommunication and extremely interested in making things right.   We scheduled the service and I am happy to report that I now have sufficient drinking water in my house.   My favorite part is their communication.   They confirm their appointments by email, text and call.   If something changes they call right away.   They will continue to be MY company if choice.

They are as good as the reviews indicate!  Needed a new disposal installed.  Called and they picked up right away quoted the price over the phone and scheduled next day repair.  Our tech, David, was fantastic.  Called when he was on his way and showed up right on time.  He quickly assessed the situation and gave me some options.  He got to work and completed the work as promised.  Great price for quality work done on time.  Glad to have David get our situation resolved.  Would not hesitate to call or recommend PlumbSmart in the future.

Needed a new unit after Parker and Son's visit to do maintenance left mine broken. Called Dustin, he worked us into a tight schedule. He was professional, excellent communication and competitive on price. He even had a technician install a temporary unit while we were waiting do to the install for free. It was May so it was already getting hot, and that was greatly appreciated! He properly executed our registration with Trane, and also sent me the info to make sure I got my $600 SRP rebate. I can't say enough about Plumb Smart and Dustin and I will never call anyone else.

3 years ago, bought a house in Tempe that needed complete new water lines, sewer lines (under house) and hot water heater, etc.  Another words, BIG job.  Plumbsmart did all of the work as promised and at a reasonable rate.  Home is currently being sold and some items came up needing repair under warranty.  Don came out and did the job quickly and without any squawk in a courteous and professional manner.  Robert in the office helped with additional property inspector items - above and beyond the call of duty. I can't say enough good things about this company. Outstanding company with outstanding customer service.  Highly recommend!

I would not call this company again. The ad in Craigslist stated 50 dollars to unclog a drain however ended up being 125 and the gentleman just had to unscrew the pipe and pull a piece of gunk out. After that he put it back together and he was done. It took him less than 10 minutes and didn't even dump the bucket of water out as he left it in my kitchen. The ad also says 179 for a new disposal installed however once they arrive the price was dramatically hire than what I was expecting based on their advertising.

I would just find a different honest company to use

The business owner stated that the ad said it was for local services which is untrue (see the link provided) as it does not say anything about distance.  Paying for plumbing services is not the issue in my case as I understand the cost that goes into the work, however my concern is within the dishonesty of the business. I say this with all due respect, however the ad does not have any of the information the business owner stated and as previously stated if you are looking for an honest business to continue to use find someone else. In this situation I would have hoped the owner would have kept their word as advertised.

An honest business is in my opinion worth more than the actual cost spent.  Keep in mind the owner states the additional cost was due to the distance to my location, however the ad also says NO TRIP CHARGES.  Doesn't make any sense other than dishonest advertising.

My experience with Plumbsmart makes is very hard to even provide a 1 rating. Plumbsmart completed some plumbing work at my house, and then left me with a terribly loud water hammer issue - i.e. the water pipes in my garage bang loudly, and this can lead to more serious issues. This noise issue occurred as a result of the work they completed. Never in all the years of living in my house have we ever had this terrible condition previously, I never even heard of this type of issue. They did return to the house a few times the past couple of months to try to resolve the issue, but they were not capable of solving the problem they created.  Over the past few weeks, I have left 2 messages for the owner Wayne, 2 messages for a Supervisor Robert, and several messages and emails for a manager Shawn.  I have not heard from any of them - they DO NOT return phone calls.  Apparently they have given up and do not have the skill to solve the serious problem their work created. I could never recommend Plumbsmart to anyone.

This is an update on my previous review posted on June 15, 2023.  On June 16, I received a call from Robert Deal, Plumbing Dept. with PlumbSmart.  Mr. Deal informed that the company will correct the situation and replace the three damaged valves with no cost to me.  Next day, the company sent their technician who completed the job.   I believe this is fair and just.

I received a call from Plumb Smart the day after posting my review.   The caller said that Plumb Smart was very sorry I had a bad experience and that they were going to refund my Service Fee.   About 10 minutes after getting that call, another person from Plumb Smart called.   He said he was the first callers boss and that he was writing me out a check as we spoke and again apologized.   He then asked me if I would consider removing my Yelp review.    I told him I would consider it AFTER I received the refund.    That was 8 days ago.  Still no refund.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ... They charge more than other plumbers.  A simple shut off valve on the toilet cost me over $180 because apparently there were other problems with the toilet which were not there before ... REALLY ???

We gave this place a try when our bathrooms and showers backed up over thanksgiving weekend. A little nervous trying a new place for plumbing but gave it a shot. They knocked it outta the park for us! We were really happy with the super fair price,  thoroughness, honest and prompt service. They sent us text updates with ETA's and even arrived earlier than we were told.  Nate and Luke answered all of our questions and even offered some preventative measures we could do ourselves. Will definitely call these guys in the future for plumbing service. Grateful for the help!

We needed p/m done on our a/c. Chance came to do it, He introduced himself and greeted us. Chance discovered that the company that installed the a/c had not sealed the return air boot. He sealed it for us and our a/c is running to perfection.

They told me on the phone $49 to come out to do a diagnostic test. He came out sat in his van most of the time waiting for his supervisor. His supervisor arrived 30 minutes later and did basically nothing. He charged me $167 for the man's time sitting in the van. This is s scam.

No it's not the water meter. I resolved the issues myself the day after the diagnostic test. The meter won't be replaced until next Tuesday. Your tech and supervisor did not do a thorough job. Had they done a thorough test they would have found the solution. This is about sloppy work. This is about making a quick bucks dishonestly.

I could not have asked for a better plumbing experience! Shawn was thorough and explained everything without being condescending. It was quite a lot less than I had prepared myself for financially too. The job was done right and I would recommend Plumbsmart to anyone!

Have had 2 jobs done by Plumbsmart of which the 1st one was done to our satisfaction. Unfortunately the 2nd one was in my view extremely expensive. It involved lifting a toilet and replacing a wax seal and the cost was $365. The job was quoted at the time and could have been declined with no cost according to the service manager. The job was allowed to proceed by a family member so we have to accept the high cost. My advice to be to aware that their flat rate labor on some jobs may not be competitive.

I called plumbsmart last week on on the 19th and was given a window for service the same day. The tech Justin came 45min BEFORE the window which was very welcome when your a/c is out. He did quick but accurate assessment and diagnosis. Then repaired with no nonsense. A week later and the unit is still working great. A/C work is never going to be inexpensive but plumbSmart was fairly priced with no shenanigans.

I was never contacted by this Company. I just checked all my email, spam folder too. I have no missed texts or voice messages either. I'm done with this... it's lie after lie with this guy.

Just after dinner I went to take a shower, upon entering the bathroom I was greated with some unsavory contents in my shower. Tried my darndest to unplug the nasty on my own, but no such luck. About 7 pm we began calling several 24 Hour plumbing services only to be greated with machines and no call back. Finally on our 7th call with got an answer from this amazing company!  Within the hour we had our main man James  S. at our home. He was a rockstar! Found the problem, fixed it and gave pointers for how to proceed in the future if the issue repeats itself! (Really wish I could have offered him a beer) Pricing was reasonable for an after hours emergency call! Will definitely be our go to company if we ever have another unsavory plumbing situation!

I have utilized PlumbSmart 3 times and have had a great experience. The dispatch keeps tremendous records of previous work and I have consistently had the same technician, Glenn. Glenn does a great job of explaining what the problem is and fixing it quickly. Every time he has worked on a project I have been pleased. He has always cleaned up the mess, which is very important. It is hard to find a good plumber and I finally have found one!

Definitely use this company.  They are fast, efficient, friendly and do amazing work.  When I had an issue regarding a misunderstanding, the owner called me personally and resolved it.  Do not hesitate to use this company.  They have the best customer service around!

I called Plumb Smart this morning for a water heater replacement. They sent someone to my house for an estimate in less then an hour. Charlie who showed up was extremely helpful! He answered all my questions patiently, and the charges are far less than the other company my home warranty recommended. I accepted Plumb Smart's quote and Charlie came back in 30 minutes and installed a brand new water heater! I am very impressed with the service I received, and I highly recommend Plumb Smart!

It was NOT a free check-up.  When I called to make the appointment, I asked if I had to print the $49 coupon advertised on their website, and they said they would honor that price.  I think you are just doing a CYA.I

This is the second time using their services and must say it was more costly than expected both times. They gave me an unsolicited quote for a new heat pump and ductwork that was so ridiculous it made me suspicious so I decided to check the BBB. Their average rating is OK but after reading the reviews I will definitly not be calling them when it's time to replace my heat pump.

Good customer service. Free estimate but ended up paying $500 more than the initial quote, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, a good experience. Would hire them again.

Air unit went out in garage. Got three quotes and Plumb Smart was chosen. Mike the installer and his helper did a great job of installing. He answered all my questions and went thru the system with me after completing the installation. They have coupon specials on their website, which is where I got the system I purchased. I would use again.

Our shower leaked. The technician, Brian Garcia, gave us a free estimate. When I scheduled the appointment I was given a two hour window (which I was very happy with so I didn't have to wait around all day!) Brian called when he was on his way, and he even offered to come earlier. I also received a text message with Brian's name and photo so I felt safe. His estimate was definitely fair. He was nice and polite and professional. He told me about other services they offer but was not pushy at all.   We will most definitely call Plumb Smart again for all of our plumbing needs! PlumbSmart did a great job on my water repair. The tech John was on time, professional and funny! He did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. When he was done I asked for a couple quotes and they were reasonable. He did not pressure me to get the work done, he just explained they offer financing and would send the quote for me to keep. I will be using this company again!

My unfavorable review got the owners attention and all of a sudden they want to do the right thing and refund my money. Two weeks & two phone calls later I'm still waiting for a check. Guess you can add don't keep their promises to the review. Four weeks, by the way, since the 2nd company I hired to finish the job this plumber started & no more problems. So obvious it wasn't done properly by Plumbsmart to begin with, triple the cost or not.

Okay, so we have beenn having issues with  our hot water heater for quite some time, and every time our landlord is sending oAut the same guy who clearly doesn't know what he is doing, so I had to call some professionals, I called Plumbsmart, and told them what was going on, they got someone to come out to do an estimate within 1 hour!! Shawn did the estimate (AMAZING JOB) and within a couple hours had Charles  (AMAZING JOB) there with him to complete the work, then this morning I get  a call from Matthew (AMAZING JOB) to set up another appointment to finish up some concrete that waS completely torn up by the last  guy who never  came back to fix. This company is AMAZING AND FANTASTIC, they tell you what needs to be done, how they are going to do it, what they need to complete the job and how long it willl take, all the tiie keeping you updated. They are truly professionals who know what they are doing and can really fix ANYTHING plumbing  wise...they know their stuff!!!! USE  THEM!!!! I would tell anybody and everybody who is in need of a plumber for any reason, don't hesitate  to call them!!! THANK YOU PLUMBSMART!!!

Very pleased with the honesty and price's of this company.  Will now be using Plumb Smart for any other plumbing issues that may arise in the future.

I am so impressed with the service I received today from PlumbSmart and my new plumber, Tom.  I had been gone for almost a week and knew I had a leak problem before I left but had to leave to go out of town, so had to turned off the water to the house.  When I turned the water back on, the leak started again, of course.  I thought for sure I would have to spend the night in a hotel since I did not get back into town until almost 3pm and thought I would have to leave the water turned off.    When I called the extremely polite dispatcher, he told me they would have someone to my home in two hours or less.  Tom the plumber arrived about an hour later.  He was quick, efficient, polite, personable, professional, tidy, and extremely reasonable as far as cost. I will definitely call PlumbSmart again when I need plumbing services in the future.

Updating my review after receiving a follow-up letter from a Wayne Decker from PlumbSmart.  

Wayne read about our experience with the company and wrote to express his apologies along with a $260 check to make up for the extra expenses I described in my previous review.  He also enclosed a $25 gift card to Outback Steakhouse.  

I was pleasantly shocked and surprised by the act of kindness on the part of the company.  I am impressed that our poor experience was not only noticed, but also that the company made an effort to reach out to us and try to improve our experience.  

My feelings about using this company again have certainly changed. I would be willing to use this company again now that I can see that the company is a bit more honest and fair than I previously experienced. :-)

I recently had some work done on my condo and got a quote from Ground Zero Plumbing who was highly rated by Yelp. I am so glad I decided to get a second quote from PlumbSmart! They literally saved me $490 and had the work done in an hour from time to quote to finish. Thank you!

My husband called and got pricing on installing a new toilet and sink. He scheduled an appointment for Friday between 3-5 p.m. Friday came and went, no phone call, no plumber, no answer when I called the number multiple times. I kept getting an automated message and did finally leave a voicemail. The owner even talked about his A+ BBB rating to my husband when he made the appointment. Not sure what happened, but not a good first impression. I'll be trying someone else.

We had zero problems with any water or plumbing when they came to fix our neighbors pipe. Somehow they ended up working in our apartment. And by the time they left we had a bathroom sink that didn't work, a leak in our bathroom ceiling, big holes in our walls so we can now see into our neighbors bathroom, they replaced our nice hand held shower head with a cheap crappy one that barley sprinkles water out and they stole our Rubbermaid dish bucket... I noticed them using it to catch the gunk from the drain so i politely took it back and put it on top of the stove out of the way so they wouldn't use it for that. .what would ever possess them to just take something from someone's house. I even called their main number and complained about my damn bucket and they said they would track it down or replace it by Monday...Monday came and went...NOTHING. Plus they left a filthy mess our belongings just on the floor mixed with dry wall and drain gunk. They didnt even bother to move stuff. It was just a big pain in the @$$. My opinion hire elsewhere or if u do hire this company make sure u stand right over them when they work.

Matt Keliipuleole brought ten years of experience to my door.  He efficiently did a thorough diagnostic test and brought my unit back to working order.  
PlumbSmart is the only business I will choose for my AC, heating and plumbing needs.

Called on Tuesday at approximately 3:27pm. Sebastian was here by 4:15pm.  He repaired the shower valve cartridge and a hose bib in the back and left by 5:15pm. So appreciate the pricing fairness and punctuality.

This 1 star is for the response provided from the business.  The customer is not always wrong as it appears is the philosophy being taken.  Please respond honestly and keep the facts straight.  The manager called to tell me he did not mean to have this happen to me, that is all that was said.

The company is acting like only one technician came out.
Two came out to my house, not one.  Is it customary to send out two plumbers to give just an estimate?  Fact is, I was told I would be able to have work done.  I am confused why in the response he said only one worker came out... I was also told that Monday, NOT Saturday was the soonest they could schedule me.

I told the woman on the phone when she asked if I would like to reschedule, that I can't I need to have this done today.  I was never told at that point, this can't be done.  This was not a mystery of the expectations for the work to be done.  I was told that the work I was having done was common stuff and if nothing had to be special ordered it could be done then at the time of them giving me the estimate. That night, despite what is being said by plumbsmart, they did not keep their word or even try.  That tells me a lot.

I had plumbers come on Saturday, the next day, from a different company installed everything in less then two hours.  I was not planning on writing this, but all the comment had so much false information I thought I should point it out.

To summarize
Two plumbers came not one (they were planning to install)
They never offered Saturday install as stated
They knew I was expecting Friday install from talking to scheduler, original appt, two plumbers came.
The company is acting like none of this happened and the bad experience is the customer's fault.
Nothing was done to try to make it so we could have the planned party at our house.  When asked if we could at least get the sink hooked up, it was a no.

Called on Friday and they found an open spot same day.

When they came out, they found the issue in no time and resolved it.

They also advised me of other items to look out for in the near future to get taken care of.

They were friendly, professional and efficient in all aspects.

I will definitely be using them from here on out.

This is the only plumbing company I will use.  I hired them to fix a slab leak about 4 months ago and called back for some other jobs thereafter.  They are very responsive, knowledgeable, clean, courteous, and prices are reasonable!   I have had 3 different plumbers visit and again what a positive experience we have had each time.  I definitely recommend this company!

I cannot say enough about Josh & PlumbSmart Pluming. I had a clogged toilet & we scheduled an appointment for 8:00-10:00. I received s text w/his photo, that let me know that he was on his way. He arrived at 8:00, after explaining the issue, Josh took 5 minutes, and issue resolved. WOW!! On time, sent pic for security, timely, clear explanation & issue resolved. I'm a senior living on a tight budget, and PlumbSmart took care of me, for FREE!!! Yes, due to COVID-19, they wanted to help their community the best that they could. THANK YOU JOSH & PLUMBSMART. Called PlumbSmart to take a look at my main water line as it was backed up. They were able to schedule a free consult the same day I called and met a nice gentleman Hernan.
Hernan was very friendly and honest. What I love most was that he wasn't trying to sell me services I did not need. I ended up scheduling a Hydro Jet to clear out all the lines. They were able to schedule the Hydro Jet in 2 days. My technician Gary was super helpful. He took the time to look at the leaks and even fixed a drain under one of my bathroom sinks for no extra cost. The Hydro Jet took about 45 minutes and my drain lines are all clear. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs and even better I saw they also help with any HVAC needs. Will keep them in mind for the future.

They advertise as low cost plumbers. I contacted them for a quote on replacing my tub faucet set and shower head. They quoted me a price of $600! I asked if that included parts. They said that was just the labor cost. I asked how long the job would take. They said 2 hours. Excuse me. But no plumber is worth $300 an hour. Beware!

UPDATE AFTER A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER:

The guy who showed up never mentioned a second worker. Nor did the first person from the company who responded to my review. As for cutting a hole in the wall, I said I would do that myself. I'd did it and it only took five minutes. Even if they planned to assign two people to the job (which would be ridiculous and unnecessary) that still means they were going to charge me $150 per hour per man. Not exactly the bargain rates they advertise. I'm not going to give them a second chance at my wallet. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
